[6.0] "She could wrestle a decent enough match and I really liked her look in ECW and she got better in the ring after a while but she's no more than a 6 to me because her and Michelle McCool were honestly one of my least favourite tag teams. it was two women in their 30s acting like a bunch of teenage bullies, starting out in an unwatchable feud with Mickie James and them being protege's in NXT season 2 did not make me like them anymore, didn't help that their rookie, Kaval, the future Low Ki, won. But besides Laycool, I didn't mind Layla, she was an average diva and was decent as both a baddie and a goodie."

[9.0] "Why is her rating THIS low? i think that a lot of people here tend to underestimate Layla and how important and incredible she was during her time with WWE, yes, it took her at least 3 years from her debut to improve but when she did, she proved she can hang with the very best of the best talents, not just hang with them in the ring but also be a part of them, her promo skills were great, extremely charismatic, hard-worker, she tried her best to put quality into frequent 3-minute matches and made the best out of the underutilized matches in the company, she was the one who helped her partner, the so-called "Legandary Hall Of Famer" Michelle McCool with the promos and brought the actual worth to Michelle's name, if there was no Layla, there would NEVER be Michelle McCool, Layla has had one of the best movesets within the Divas division, she was way ahead of time and we now see more and more women that use her moves and take inspiration from her while discrediting her simultaneously (looking at you Lainey Reid), she's been an unsung hero for an entire generation, there's no doubt about that: Layla is as iconic, flawless and Hall Of Fame-worthy as (if not more than) her partner and she deserves to get the credit and the respect she worked hard to get"

[0.0] "She was awkward in her movements during matches, couldn't cut a promo, and is best known for being in a tandem with Michelle McCool that was a dollar store version of Mean Girls and called Mickie James a fat pig. If Michelle McCool can be in the hall of fame, so can Layla. They have the exact same qualities. Although, being married to the Undertaker seems to help. She buddies with Regal but I guess that's not enough. I don't know what else to say. She wasn't good, never had a match worth watching twice, and never did anything or merit."

[6.0] "Never liked her. Found her very boring and not charismatic, although she tried and improved a lot of her in-ring and mic skills. Overall, she wasn't striking in any way."

[9.0] "Can't believe Laylas rating is this low. She wrestled for 9 years. And she gets a 5.54? She progressed tremendously since her diva search and ecw days. Upon teaming with Michelle they formed easily the most memorable women's tag team in the history of WWE. Layla found her footing both as a wrestler and on the mic. And was even able to provide comedic relief. After their split. She returned and looked even better as a singles competitor and divas champ. Also let's not forget that she's the last ever original women's champ. Show her respect and give her her flowers. It's very unfortunate how they treated her after she dropped the title and the 3 way feud between her, Eve and Kaitlyn ended. There was something brewing with the AJ pairing and later the shortly lived tag team with Summer Rae but nothing came out of these. But it should've."

[1.0] "She's hot, she can dance, and that's there ends the positives. No good matches, no wrestling ability, no good promos, no talking ability, no charisma, no anything else remotely relevant to the wrestling business. Got in because it was the horrific divas era. Stuck around for years because it was the horrific divas era. Once the era was over so was her career as the standards improved. 14 people rated her 10/10? Woof. And now I'm typing for the sake of typing in order to get this up to 500 characters."

[8.0] "Layla improved progressively during her time in WWE, for me when she made her return in 2012 after her injury she looked incredible, she showed great agility in her moves, she had a great Diva reign and was one of the best that year, obviously not to forget her time as a heel with Laycool, she showed great charisma and also showed great quality in the ring, for me an underrated diva deserves better recognition"

[7.0] "One of the sleeper hits of the Divas era. She got especially good after the Lay-Cool split-up, If she had debuted in NXT today, I'm sure she would have convinced a lot of people about her potential."

[8.0] "Layla was super underrated, and I really enjoyed her 2012 Divas Championship run. She had some really good matches with Beth Phoenix, Eve Torres, and Kaitlyn. She definitely improved too, and I dont think she gets enough credit for that. She also was entertaining in LayCool and the Extreme Exposé."

[4.0] "Layla was your typical model turned wrestler during the later Ruthless Aggression era and the PG era. Was pretty charismatic and decent on the mic, but not one real standout match at all."

[2.0] "Somehow overrated, she was not good, ever, she was annoying and the peak of "diva" wrestling. Which is NOT GREAT!"

[9.0] "At first she was just a shadow of Michelle but after Michelle left the company she really showed what she was made of. If not for her, Eve Torres and Kaitlyn, 2012 would be unwatchable. They carried the division on their backs after many big names left and for that they deserve my respect and recognition."

[10.0] "Considering that Layla was a model/dancer and that she debuted with the Diva Search, I think she had a pretty good career. She was bad at first ( given she had 0 experience ) but she developped into a solid wrestler for the era. She was good character wise which was demonstrated with her run as Laycool. I know she is not that great but ratings are subjective and she is my favorite wrestler from the diva's era so I give her a 10."

[6.0] "Ok in the ring. She had actually improved noticeably, but her 2 ACL/MCL injuries really slowed her down. Had a lot of charisma, and had the ability to play off other people very well. Her pairings with Michelle McCool, William Regal, AJ Lee, and Kaitlyn were all pretty good. Stunningly beautiful, and would say is one of the most attractive women ever in wrestling."

[1.0] "I am a little bit shocked of the amount of praise on this page. Layla was a TERRIBLE worker, just think of one match of her that you thought it was watchable! You can't find any. She wasn't as bad on the mic though."

[6.0] "Of all the Diva Search girls who passed through the WWE doors, I think Layla turned out to be the best of the bunch. As a natural athlete, the wrestling came more naturally to her that it did to others. She was always just a kind of ho-hum character until she found success the Michelle McCool. Even though I'm not the biggest McCool fan out there, I think this team worked & they could have got more out of the act."

[6.0] "Layla El came to the WWE as a Diva Search winner, but ultimately had a good legitimate run for herself - she was gorgeous, had a lot of personality, and while not a spectacular in-ring worker, did put in the work to improve. Her best run was easily her time alongside Michelle McCool, where she showed herself to be a good, heat-drawing heel."

[3.0] "Outside of Laycool, Layla was completely interchangeable with the rest of the faceless and enhanced women in WWE in the 00s."

[6.0] "Not the best wrestler of her time but she could do some nice moves and sometimes sell the moves of the opponents, in the mic she improved a lot in time of the Laycool and if t wasn't for this her mic would be poor and bad without nothing special and about her character I don't even know if she one day had one so I'm going to consider her time like a dancer which was bad and the next thing was with the Laycool which it was the perfect role for her as heel, annoying as heel but a decent in ring work mocking other opponents and unfortanely it was the best thing on 2010 on the divas division."

[4.0] "I don't know how to feel about her. Quite good as a manager. Tolerable as a heel. Decent mic work during the Laycool run. Her in ring work, on the other hand, was not very good. Average at best, sloppy at times. She could have been better if she came during the nxt era."

[10.0] "Layla is a definitely one of the my favorite women wrestler. She had a great ring skills but it was wrong time. If she came to WWE like two years ago she will great as four horsewomen. But in "diva time" she was one of the best worker in the division."

[7.0] "Layla married Ricky Ortiz, huh. Learn something new every day. Anyway, I've always had a soft spot for Layla, because she seemingly always 100% in any story line. She went from the Extreme Expose to becoming a multitime champion in her own right. After being a valet and eye candy for much of her earlier career, she broke out being the loudmouth, charismatic half of the dominant mean girl duo LayCool with Michelle McCool. Layla's never been the cleanest in the ring but she had enough energy and a decent enough quick offense to be a better half of bland women's division. Ultimately, as AJ Lee, Kaitlyn and the NXT women were shaping up, it was time for Layla to retire. She was a good hand who did her best to be entertaining in any situation."

[10.0] "One of the best model turned wrestlers in WWE. She had it all. She was entertaining and did her best in any storyline they put her in. Probably the best overall Diva search contestant hired by WWE, she really improved and had a great career."

[6.0] "Layla was a talented wrestler. Very agile, and comfortable in the ring utilizing high flying moves, and a fun collection of kicks. That being said, she was overshadowed by others in the division like McCool, and I don't personally believe she was given a good enough run as champion for the fans to really get behind her."

[6.0] "Layla is a lot like Brie Bella: solid in the ring, but not really excelling in one area; and also, she never got a real push until her more relevant teammate was gone. Layla was a bit generic as a face, but I did like that she added new moves to her arsenal upon her return at Extreme Rules. She was a solid wrestler, just nothing special in the ring."

[8.0] "Layla was an energetic wrestler, showing a lot of spark ever since she first stepped in a WWE ring. Miss El was probably at her best during her time with Michelle McCool, playing well into the mean girl character type. She had a long tenure in the company that paid off as she worked with different women from different eras, with no one ever being able to escape from her personal antics. Stay flawless Layla."

[9.0] "Layla is a former Miami Heat dancer with a great personality. Layla started her WWE tenure with the Extreme Expose skit with Brooke Tessmacher and Kelly Kelly and it provided some great eye candy to the dying ECW brand. Layla would then break from the group and form LayCool with Michelle McCool and became HBIC's to the WWE from 2009-2011. Layla has been getting lost in the shuffle in 2015 but, no matter what's she doing, Layla is doing it with finance and fire. Love her."

[6.0] "Layla is an average competitor, she isn't bad but she isn't that good. Often times her performance is forgettable and she'll show inconsistency keeping up with her own in ring style as her lucha offense is not as fluid as it should be. I think she's at the end of the road as far as WWE Divas are concerned."

[8.0] "It's crazy that Layla has been wrestling for almost a decade since she won the Diva Search back in 2006 and throughout her career her character and her wrestling have been hit and miss back and forth for me but I think Layla overall has good in-ring skills. I don't really have the same enthusiasm when it comes to her character over the years except for her LayCool stuff but when it comes to Layla's in-ring work, she has an impressive moveset for the most part at least."

[6.0] "Layla has always been solid but never really above average. She's solid in the ring and filled with personality but she's best suited as a supporting role rather than a top diva."

[9.0] "Shocked Layla has such a low score of 5. 37 she is defo one of the best divas with her in ring ability not to mention she does look hot whether she is dressed up as a valet or dress for action in wrestling gear."

[7.0] "Vastly improved during her run with LayCool, she has probably peaked as far as in-ring competition is concerned, but something tells me she'll stay close to the public eye."

[6.0] "I don't really know what to say about Layla. She has improved that's for sure, but I feel like she is nothing without Michelle McCool. Lay-Cool was awesome, but I still find it hard to forgive her for making me watch the worst wrestling match I have ever seen live alongside Rosa Mendes back in 2011 in Sydney, Australia."
