Seriously, though, compare her work from her match in 2015 against Emma to her singles match against Kristal in 2007. Layla worked hard to become decent in the ring. |

Layla's never been the cleanest in the ring but she had enough energy and a decent enough quick offense to be a better half of bland women's division. Ultimately, as AJ Lee, Kaitlyn and the NXT women were shaping up, it was time for Layla to retire. She was a good hand who did her best to be entertaining in any situation. |
