He's not a main event guy, but he's consistent, can work with just about anyone, and brings a mix of comedy and solid in-ring work. His best stuff was in tag teams and when he leaned into the 'One Man Band' character, but even in recent years he's been a dependable veteran presence."

Heath was something bigger in the starting of his jorney, he was like blink in the future, but unfortunately, he became... You can see what he became by yourself"

[5.0] "Very reliable wrestler, still surprised WWE let him go. He was decent in-ring, on the mic he was great, his ability to be a comedic wrestler is very good too. Won't mention his NXT stuff, because that show was garbage and didn't do anybody any favours (aside from Barrett and Danielson.) In the Nexus, he was pretty good. Corre... that failed miserably. 3MB? Pretty decent, if it wasn't for the fact McIntyre was in the group, I would've looked back at that team more fondly. Really loved the whole "I've got kids" shtick, I think for a lot of people, that's what put him on the map. Whilst people knew of him beforehand, I don't think people quite realised just how good of a comedic character he was until that point. Slater is just one of those guys you could throw in the ring and know whoever he was working with would be ok. Like I stated previously, he's very reliable and proved way back in 2012 that he was able to do a solid job in-ring, no matter the age or gender of his opponent."

[9.0] "One of WWE's best jobber-to-lowercard acts in all of the 2010s. Charismatic beyond belief, with an excellent movepool and an ability to play both sides of the coin, so to speak. Wish he was given more, even if it was just a pity run with the IC or US title, considering what we got to see out of him when he was given the Smackdown Tag Team Title run with Rhyno in late-2016. Honestly, reminds me a ton of the likes of EZ Money or Jamie Noble, where we might be seeing guys in the 2030s or 2040s citing Slater as an inspiration to them, similar to how people were inspired by those I mentioned above."

Finally, I really noticed that he signed with TNA. I have always been a fan of TNA and have never changed, so I almost know who wrestlers have come to TNA. His signing with TNA was a bit complicated. After several months, he finally signed with TNA and was injured in October 2020. Later, he made a comeback with his old partner Rhino. I like Heath and hope he can return to TNA one day I like his image in TNA, And I like his and Rhino tag team match"

[9.0] "OH BABY. Trained at Atlanta's excellent WWA4 school, Heath achieved considerable success in WWE's developmental promotion FCW. He achieved four tag team title runs in WWE (plus a brief 24/7 title moment that WWE ought to have prolonged, no one was better suited to joining R-Truth and Drake Maverick than Heath Slater). Despite his title reigns, he was never presented as a truly credible opponent in WWE but found a unique ability to connect with fans despite his booking, this was true as a One Man Band, Legends Baiter, 3MB, Hottest Free Agent, Guy with Kids, etc. Unfortunately, WWE never really pulled the trigger. Heath was among the WWE COVID cuts and while he was sidelined with an injury at the worst possible time, he's proven very successful by winning the Impact World Tag Team Championships with Rhino and numerous other singles and tag titles in other independent companies. I think his presentation needs a little work, the sunglasses and tight jeans "Cool Dad" look doesn't really appeal to me personally but he's good in the ring and endlessly charming. On the microphone he can be hilarious and he can be terrifying. Like Eric Young, he could be a sympathetic babyface or he could be a nasty stable leader, either way he has more top title potential than he gets credit for. Pretty damn cool man."

You know, I don't remember every single five star action I saw in my life, but I for sure remember the exhilarating promos of this guy. Every single stable he touched became comedy gold. He will always be remembered as one of the most iconic jobbers in the history of WWE, but, to be fair, his indy career is going pretty well."

[4.0] "He should have switched careers after he was cut from WWE, since that's realistically the only promotion where his 'style' of character >>>>> in-ring work could work. His attempts at playing 'hype' and 'fired up' are completely underwhelming because of how it always is, since he really has nothing remotely interesting about his character apart from his West Virginian accent, but he sadly seems to think that loudly "hootin" and "hollerin" like a generic southerner is an adequate substitute for a personality. He's never been a remotely decent in-ring worker either, and unlike other ex-WWE guys who have gone to Impact or other promotions, he's shown no effort to improve is wrestling, instead being comfortable to do the absolute bare minimum as he was taught to do. He's just completely boring and a total anti-star who makes whatever promotion he works for in any relatively prominent position (in this current case, that being Impact) look low-rent and amateurish."

Social Outcasts gave him a bit of a refresh, but he gained the most in 2016 during the face turn and the contact struggle story. Many people have bad memories of this time and find it embarrassing, but I liked it - the story of children and being fired. I'm glad he won the SmackDown Tag Team belts then because he produced some really fun segments."

He was funny for a second with the "I've got kids" line, but that's not something you can hang a whole gimmick on. He seems like he has a great attitude & every company needs some jobbers, so I wish him well into the future. But he brings little to the product."

Slater on the other hand is actually RELLY underrated, first of all his selling is one of the best in the world today and he is a great chicken-shit heel. His promos are great and he showed he can be a great babyface with his free agent storyline in 2016 and even showed some great babyface fire in the ring! Hope he gets a mid card title run someday."

The more TV time Slater gets, the more fans grown an investment in him because he represents a vulnerability that other wrestlers don't. The free agent storyline humanized and made a loudmouth, obnoxious heel into an underdog story that was able to win tag title gold and a contract. Slater's decent in the ring, his bumping and selling is some of the best in the company and he's a safe worker. Dependable, charismatic and an ability to draw reactions, Slater's the quintessential midcarder for any roster."

But good lord did they nail this recent storyline. What could of been an annoying weekly segment of Heath Slater nagging away, turned him around in the eyes of the fans. I'm never going to be really impressed with his wrestling skills, but he at least deserves a better rating due to his recent work."

With his great promos on live shows and his overall likeability in bits like Game Night, Heath Slater has gotten over and aparently risen in WWE's consideration enough to earn a mini-push. Not an amazing performer but enough to deserve more than what he has been offered and it seems that now, in one of the best years of his wrestling career, WWE is starting to notice him."

He has the microphone skills, and granted he's not the best in the ring, but he sells like a champ. Hell, I can't even say he's not good in the ring- he's never been given a chance to show what he can do. Typical WWE."

He's too goofy to ever be taken seriously, and I don't know if he could project intensity if he tried. That said, his comedic timing is awesome, and he's fun to watch while he's bumping all over the ring. People say Dolph Ziggler is excellent at selling, and that's true -- but Slater has him beat. Just watch how he takes JBL's Clothesline from Hell on YouTube. Sure, you can't rate him much higher than a 5, since the only storytelling he does is getting beaten up. That doesn't quite count as putting together five-star matches. You've got to respect a guy who fills his niche well, though, and Slater can do that."

Since his days in the Nexus in 2010, I've always been a big fan and supporter of Heath Slater. His rock band character has always been over with me, I love his in-ring performances whenever he gets the right opportunities to show what he can do in the ring, and he is such a great cocky heel especially when he was facing the legends in 2012 before 3MB was created.
