116.10.2024BlackVikingGZ5.0This was a weird storyline and for me it didn't click at all, specially if we compare it with Randy Orton being the legend killer on WWE at the same time. At the end of the month of july, TNA did a special ceremony with some historical NWA figures to present the new Director of Authority. Kid Kash used this moment to interrupt it and cut a promo trying to undermine their contribution to wrestlings history. His former trainer Ricky Morton confronted him, but Kash playing the coward him slapped him and used Sara Lee as a human shield, jus to be chokeslamed by the new Authority figure: Erik Watts. After that, on the following shows Kid Kash begin to face some of this legends on some mediocre encounters, that didn't really helpt Kid Kash get elevated in the card. He wins a match over Morton, Zbysko and Bobby Eaton. But he is only able to win the legends thanks to the interference of his new ally Abyss. Then he begins to have some dissensions with Abyss that led to Terry Taylor interviewing Kash about the matter and being slapped as an answer. Then he continues the feud with Taylor and AMW of all people. Taylor costs him and Abyss the conterdership of the tag team titles. That led into a match between Kid Kash and Terry Taylor, which the lattest win thanks to AMW helping him to stop Abyss intervening on the match. Later, AMW and Kid Kash & Abyss fight each other on some decent matches, with AME taking the final win. After the loss, Kash tried to blame Abyss and made the monster snap and attack his former ally, breaking their partnership. It wasn't really interesting and didn't help to elevate neither AMW or Kid Kash. The only good thing it achieved was to break the team of Abyss and Kid Kash.
