Kane & The Undertaker

[10.0] "These guys were one of the best tag teams of the attitude era. They were dominant together and separately. They had some great matches against Dudley's, Edge & Christian, etc. Their match with Kronik notwithstanding, they were still a great tag team."

[10.0] "These guys ripped it up between 2000-2002. Every tag match they did was popping the crowd popped louder than wrestlemania's today. The formula was simple but very effective a bad arse tag team with a no nonesense smash mouth style, their entrance alone is epic. So many great matches and moments."

[8.0] "Compared to teams such as the Hardyz or Dudleyz; the Brothers of Destruction were not a full time team & only came together in a part time way. But when they did come together, it was pretty neat & had a very important aura."

[7.0] "Decent powerhouse tag team. Didnt have too many memorable tag matches together, but they did have some good chemistry and were dominant."

[8.0] "How can you not be a fan of The Brothers of Destruction? The team really caught fire in that 2000 to 2001 time period and were a force during the invasion angle. They became a pairing again in the mid 2000s but those felt like special occasions moreso than the two legitimately getting back together. They were my favorite team to play in the video games"

[10.0] "I have lots of fond memories of Kane & Undertaker really living up to their Brothers of Destruction name by laying waste to everyone they crossed paths with in the ring."

[2.0] "I originally left a comment on Jan 17th 2022. Since then things have changed so much that not only did I have to add in an edit, I also had to preface the review! ORIGINAL: Skits 'n bits are fun, the idea is great on paper but when they are a tag team in TAG TEAM matches things kinda fall apart. Great rivalry/storyline but the pair just doesn't do much for me when a tag team. Also, booking them to bury portions of WCW never did sit well. 4.5 rounded up. And here is the EDIT: 4 point 5? That's too generous, a 2.25 is more appropriate. I am convinced you either LoVe ThE uNdErTaKeR or have actually watched his matches. I guess things improved in later years (maybe, perhaps) but for a LONG TIME "The Undertaker" meant "bulls#it booking" and this is a case in point. I like simulated competition, not a fan of political squashes."

[3.0] "Their singles careers are pretty legendary but I can't think of a single great tag match they had together. They seem like a great team on paper due to their gimmicks and similar styles but they just had no chemistry whatsoever. Their only extended run as a team happened in 2001 and it was pretty terrible on every level. The burial of DDP and Kanyon sucked and them winning the WCW tag belts was one of the low points of the whole invasion storyline. They only thing worse than that 2001 run was that trainwreck against DX in Saudi Arabia."

[8.0] "The Brothers of Destruction are iconic together, but they're still better in the solo runs. As a pair they work because of the gimmick and moveset similarities, really made for each other type of situation... they had interesting moments and a well worked brotherhood relationship, but the most iconic moments for this wrestlers still their solo ones."

[2.0] "They have had legendary careers as solo wrestlers, but honestly anytime these two were paired up with each other as team it simply did not click."

[3.0] "The storyline with them as opposing brothers was great obviously but as a team they just had no chemistry. I can't recall a good match and the ones that stick out in memory do so because they were honking."

[4.0] "I mean they're both cool but they never really had any good two on two tag matches. Kane & Taker with the Rollin' remix with Out of the Fire with that entrance was cool, that time Taker tried to teach Kane the Last Ride was funny. But other than that.. shit match at Crown Jewel, Buried both DDP and Kanyon, and Taker sucks at promos when he's not Big Evil."

[7.0] "As a team, they didn't really get to do a whole lot together apart from a few stints then and there. Didn't have any outstanding matches at all, but their presence along with their popularity and the legacy they left were enough to put them above most tag teams."

[8.0] "This was a tag team with a captivating story and two of the most versatile big men in the history of professional wrestling. Perhaps they didn't have an endless stream of iconic matches, but they enhanced tag team wrestling by being singles stars who actually committed to being a tag team instead of having one foot in and one foot out the door. All-time great name with some memorable moments, a dominating presence, and some good matches."

[6.0] "While it was always cool to see the Undertaker and Kane put aside their differences, both worked better as singles stars."

[3.0] "Wow the high rating baffles me as these two were maybe the worst tag team for each other with no real chemistry. Team Hell No was great but Brothers of Destruction was just bad. I mean the name is cool but everything else was bad."

[9.0] "With their long-term, sometimes-allies, sometimes-enemies history, it always seemed like a major deal when the Brothers of Destruction came together for a tag match, and based on both their in-ring work and characters they seemed like a nearly-unbeatable team. Some of their matches as a team were better than others, but the two complimented each other well and there's something to be said for a team that can lend any match a main event feel."

[4.0] "As with the Outsiders, just because two big stars team up, that does not automatically make them a great team. They didn't have a long run as a team, they had some high profile matches but no real feud with another team; their feud against Steve Austin and Triple H was really two singles feuds. And they had few good matches, with one of their major matches being a serious contender for the worst match of the year."

[8.0] "Really dominant big man tag team. Always felt like a big deal when they came together for their on again off again relationship over the years. Both Hall of Famers in their own right and their careers will forever be tied together."

[9.0] "A really dominant tag team. Both men were imposing, tough badasses and as a result, the team came off as really cool. Won the tag team gold many times including WCW tag titles."

[10.0] "One of my favorite teams, perhaps for sentimental reasons but I truly love the presentation of these guys together. It feels like a huge deal whenever they team up."
