The TLC matches, the road to the WWE title in 2008, the feud with Punk, the fun little return run in the late 2010s, etc. He just oozes charisma and as a kid, there wasn't a cooler person in the world than Jeff Hardy. I really think he's one of the most unique and inventive people in wrestling."

"I enjoy his work a lot, as he is very nostalgic to me. However, I hope he doesn't slip back into controversy, I wish him the best."

[8.0] "Another controversial figure who has faced many personal problems and run into several issues, yet at the same time, is an incredible wrestler and one of the most influential performers in professional wrestling history. Jeff perfectly embodies the role of a daredevil in the ring, and it's evident through the countless sacrifices he has made over the years. He might not have had a perfect run as of late, with his peak being around 2007 to 2009, but Jeff has already solidified himself as one of the greatest of all time and one of the biggest inspirations in professional wrestling. Once he retires, his legacy will undoubtedly be remembered."

He can't wrestle unless he's taking huge risks, he can't cut promos, and he can't do any competent level of technical wrestling. Even I'm still drawn to his matches and have interest. You can't quantify why or how Jeff Hardy is successful, he just is. He also can't get out of his own way with his addictions. It is a disease and frankly he should've been cut off from wrestling a long time ago. Addicts are only supposed to really get one or two extra chances in life before they make it clear that they're unwilling to work on their disease. Now he can barely walk and has been taking victory laps with Matt for far too long."

[7.0] "One of the most important and iconic wrestlers of all time for having a charisma that didn't need a mic, bringing a signature style to wrestling both in the attire and move-set senses, and helping to legitimize the daredevil style. However, one cannot discuss the legacy of Jeff without his demons which have not only hurt him, but have either directly hurt or almost hurt promotions he's worked for as well."

[7.0] "Jeff Hardy will always be known as one of those cautionary tales that is often talked about within the IWC; someone who could have had everything he wanted and pissed it all away by doing drugs and getting into trouble with law enforcement, and that's just unfortunate he ruined it because the potential with Jeff Hardy was limitless. Compared to his brother Matt, Jeff was limited with in-ring work but excelled at two things; High Flying and Star Power, these two things Matt didn't have, Jeff excelled in. Jeff is also a cultural icon for many Millennials and us Zoomers (yes I'm a Zoomer in case you're wondering) and at one point could've been one of WWE's top faces, but as mentioned before, Jeff had a lot of demons and many of them were brought upon by himself. I'm not trying to shame Jeff because no one is perfect and there are quite a number of wrestlers who are carnies and filled with problems, and admittedly, I believe that Jeff's downfall as a human is sad given the aforementioned potential he had, but life is life at the end of the day. I will give Jeff credit for attempting to still entertain us fans even with all the problems he has, there is still a bit of star power with the Hardy Boyz in TNA and their "return" to WWE a few months ago was well received by fans everywhere. Still, Jeff Hardy has a soft spot with many fans and rightfully so."

[9.0] "I'll never fault someone for their personal demons, and Jeff's redemption arc should be celebrated in an industry where far too many have succumbed to personal issues. With that said, at his peak, Jeff was electrifying and probably the most over wrestler in the world. His impact in the business cannot be understated - there are multiple generations of fans that adore him and his brother. Jeff's 2007-2009 run in the WWE was arguably the best superstar ascension we've seen since the Attitude Era"

[10.0] "The popularity, the passion he has, how the fans rally behind him, how in the ring he is an exciting daredevil who will do the most crazy things to win, the looks over the years, Jeff Hardy has it all. Disregarding his obvious personal problems, as a wrestler he's someone who the fans pay to see and pay to cheer for and get behind as much as they can because he's so likeable. What surprised me was his attitude as a heel for a short period of time in TNA, that was looking to be a money gimmick but personal issues disrupted that. He's always been incredible and is one of my favourites of all time, he's done it in a bunch of promotions too and has the longetitivty behind him, not being injured much at all which is shocking considering how brutal some of the matches he's had have been. Great match catalogue and feuds catalogue too and there'll never be another wrestler like him, 10/10."

[9.0] "Jeff Hardy was such a unique wrestler. His high risk move set and down to earth personality made him resonate with fans and become a quick crowd favourite. While Jeff was always a reliable in ring worker, he was always able to be an entertaining main event when he was allowed to be there. His addiction issues unfortunately cost him what could've been a 10/10 career, but being able to come back from the setbacks that he did proved that Jeff Hardy the man is truly somebody incredible."

[10.0] "Jeff Hardy is, as far as I'm concerned, still the greatest wrestler of his generation despite the various drug issues and hurdles he's had to face along the way. It's hard to explain exactly what makes Jeff so likable and charismatic, but it's managed to get him over at every stop of his wrestling career. Jeff has one of the coolest entrance themes (No More Words) in wrestling history, one of the most iconic finishers with the Swanton bomb, a catalogue that includes some of the greatest ladder, tables, and hardcore matches ever, and of course that cool ass dance move that no one else does better. Just imagine what would've happened if Jeff stayed clean, and even more so, if he stayed with WWE past 2003 and managed to actually win the strap earlier than '08."

When he says he could've been bigger than Cena, he's probably right, he had a "cool guy" vibe about him that could make anybody like him in a matter of minutes. Had everything to be an all-time great, except that when he got out of the ring, he was the most unhealthy, unreliable person in the locker room. Every push that he had was stopped due to him letting his demons win, and even though it wasn't directly his fault, no company would trust him enough to let him be the face of it, and rightfully so. Will love him forever."

From ladder matches to always leaving the crowd wanting more, he was the architect of unforgettable moments like his Swanton Bomb off a 20-foot ladders, getting speared at WrestleMania or his insane dive off the Raw Titantron. He set a new standard for daredevilry in wrestling, inspiring a generation of wrestlers who saw him as the ultimate risk-taker. Hardy's matches were not only exciting but also emotionally gripping, with jaw-dropping moments that'll live forever. Jeff Hardy has wrestling immortality to his name"

It's super super unfortunate how his personal short-comings have affected his career. But at his peak (TNA 2012-2013) Jeff was a special top guy but he could have been so much more."

[8.0] "Jeff Hardy was a really good athletic high flyer style of wrestler. He also contributed heavily to the tag team division with his brother Matt during the attitude era. It's unfortunate that later in his career he made some pretty big mistakes due to his anxiety, alcoholism, or other reasons, but that doesn't take away his contribution to wrestling during the early 2000s."

[6.0] "Talking about Jeff is different, for many he is their childhood idol, for some he is someone else from the crowd, for others he is someone problematic who has taken it upon himself to dirty his name and Wrestling, I am one of the last group of people... Jeff's career can be defined in one word: unique. Unique in every aspect, in the Ring he was incredible and impossible to match, his life outside the Ring has been difficult, due to addictions, problems with the law, health problems, etc. His performance in the Ring is increasingly worrying, whenever he starts doing his typical jumps it seems like he couldn't take it anymore, he will always be part of his Tag Team for two reasons: the Hardy Boyz are legendary and attract a lot of people, but the other point is because Jeff can't do the things he did 20 years ago, he always looks tired and can't have a match normally because he's so slow, that's why Matt comes in, Matt helps Jeff have a break. Before this unfortunate point, we will have to talk about his career before, in the '90s-'00s, the Hardys were the best in the WWF, their epic matches against Dudleys Boyz and Edge and Christian are simply unmissable, later he had the opportunity to demonstrate his talent individually, and you already know everything that happened, he won the WWE Championship, he lost it, he faced CM Punk: he lost and left WWE. And from then on he did not get the same attention due to his personal problems that were leading him to ruin, he has done little since those years, he was in TNA, he caused Controversy. He returned to WWE (both individually and with Matt), achieved good things but it is impossible for them to be the same things as in his Prime. He was in AEW, he didn't do anything important or interesting. It should be noted that I did not grow up with Jeff on my television and perhaps that is why I analyzed his career in a cold and not so detailed way."

[9.0] "Anyone rating Jeff lower than a seven is fooling themselves. Absolutely one of the most over guys of the late 2000s and the personification of larger than life. Outside the ring, he's done some crazy stuff but nothing comparable to the worst of wrestling's dark side. Barring the Sting incident, on screen, Jeff hasn't done anything to warrant less than a nine. Easily makes the top thirty American wrestlers of all time."

[10.0] "Jeff is an icon for a reason a true legend of the scene to see him still wrestle to this day is a blessing very lucky he did not cut his career short still putting on crazy good matches and still doing the same insane spots from years ago. One of my all time favourite wrestlers."

[6.0] "Jeff Hardy is the greatest one trick pony in history, if they had never introduced ladders in wrestling he would never have made it past the mid card, people love him for his look, presentation and obviously for seeing a crazy guy attacking himself from the highest possible places. If only he wasn't a disturbed drug addict outside the ring he could have had a much more solid career, but whenever given the opportunity to be the top guy this guy finds a way to sabotage himself."

[4.0] "Just as influential as his brother during their early days in WWE, owning the risky nature of their in-ring style. Naturally, time waits for no one, so it was obvious Jeff had only so much time before all those spots hindered his future work. That much is clearly noticeable. And while his latter days were somewhat more enjoyable thanks to the Brother Nero gimmick he had with Matt Hardy. His days fighting his inner struggle while trying to stay active in the ring certainly didn't work well."

[10.0] "Dude's iconic for a reason. Insanely over, insanely talented, loves to throw himself off ladders, and has held up pretty well for the aforementioned ladder thing and his drug issues. Yeah, he had a run of fuck-ups, but he's gotten clean now and is putting on pretty good matches for a dude who's nearly 50 who loves to explode himself off ladders. He has crazy charisma literally everywhere he goes, a great and memorable look, and is pretty good on a mic. Love this dude."

[10.0] "I'm going to keep it short because I am definitely biased when it comes to Jeff Hardy. Jeff Hardy was the first wrestler I EVER saw. His WrestleMania 25 match against his brother Matt was the first bit of wrestling I had ever consumed. I had ever even heard the words professional wrestling before. But that match kickstarted me into becoming the massive (addicted) wrestling fan that I am. So thank you Jeff Hardy for everything you have ever done. Now please retire so you can walk when you're old."

He is super charismatic and his connection with the fans is one of the best. His entrance and theme song is one of the coolest of all time. Him and his brother Matt, The Hardy Boyz are my favorite tag team of all time. They have had great matches and won championships all over the world in promotions such as WWE, TNA, ROH and a bunch of indie promotions. Jeff as an singles star is also really good, he has won many championships like being a 1x WWE Champion, 2x World Heavyweight Champion, 5x Intercontinental Champion, 1x United States Champ, 3x TNA World Champion, 3x Hardcore Champion & 1x European Champion. Some bangers that he's had are against Edge & Christian, The Dudley's, CM Punk, Edge, The Undertaker, AJ Styles, Rob Van Dam & Triple H. Jeff never fails to amaze us with his life defying leaps. The Swanton Bomb is such a sick move and every kid growing up has definitely tried it. Jeff will always be one of my heroes and favorites of all time."

[8.0] "Jeff Hardy was a star, and still is to a certain extent. He just has that way of capturing the fans, whether they're young or old, male or female, whatever, people love Jeff Hardy. I wouldn't say he was the greatest wrestler, he did have some fantastic matches but he was a certain level in-ring. He did some cool stuff, like whisper in the wind and the swanton bomb, but in-terms of just standard wrestling he wasn't anything amazing. Once you bring weapons, especially ladders, into the equation... he becomes a different beast. Was willing to do things people had never seen before, created some classic moments in wrestling history. The guy can go when it comes to weapons being involved in a match, but standard 1v1 he's ok at best. Haven't even got to the Hardy Boyz team yet, will rate them seperately at some point. We all know how good that team was, obviously not the same nowadays but they've done a lot and contributed a lot to tag team wrestling. Jeff Hardy has undoubtedly shown his age in recent years, his body has taken so many beatings that it's hard not to wrestle a little slower. Must give him some respect for going to TNA back in 04, had a decent run there and had a decent run again years later. Should probably stop it here as I'll be talking forever about his career. He was a star, he had a certain charisma, decent in-ring, great with weapons. Overall, Jeff Hardy had a very good career."

[7.0] "Jeff is a legend, he's super charismatic, and that's why he always had a huge fanbase, because of his unique style and skills as a worker, together with his brother Matt, he completely changed and shaped modern tag team wrestling, but he always shined brighter than his brother, that's why his singles runs are so famous. It's truly a shame that his career had many setbacks, and he never could've reach the maximum potential because of external things. When well, Jeff is a marvel to behold, super compelling and entertaining, always had people on their feet with the crazy stunts."

[3.0] "Jeff Hardy is great at connecting to audiences as evidenced by his numerous compelling singles runs. Combine his charisma with some of the most iconic moments in car crash wrestling and you'd expect him to go down as an all-time great. He is unfortunately one of the most unreliable, unprofessional and generally unlikable people in wrestling and is home to some of the most controversial moments in the industry, many of which even his die-hard fans can defend. I understand why he may be some people's favourite wrestler, but for me, he is continuously a disappointment in and out of the ring."

[4.0] "Jeff Hardy played a great part in some car crash tag team wrestling but was never very compelling to me as a single's wrestler, especially outside of gimmick matches. When he isn't doing a big stunt he's mostly stumbling around hitting unconvincing offense."

[4.0] "Im rating the Jeff Hardy we have now and not the one we got in TNA and WWE prior 2009. To be honest, I started watching WWE when he was in TNA so I never knew him at his prime and his last WWE run from 2017 to 2021 (Without forgetting his AEW run from 2022 to 2024) really didnt impressed me. Today, Jeff is washed, he is trying to do things he was doing before and cant because of his age, which is kind of sad."

[9.0] "Jeff Hardy was so over since the early 2000s in the WWE. Jeff could've broke barriers in the WWE for highflyers. Vince and WWE wanted to push him so many times because of how popular and big a draw he was. Unfortunately, he stalled a WWE championship push for about seven years due to his drug use. Like everyone else, I remember him being my favorite wrestler as a kid. His run in TNA for the second time made me become a fan of that company and learn how good the wrestler was. I watched his matches back in the day, and they were very good. Hes past his prime now, but an eight is fair for his body of work. I could argue between an eight and a seven, but if I had to choose, I would grade up instead of down."

[7.0] "A great tag wrestler, a good singles guy but overrated by WWE fans imo. He isn't a top level highflyer (he is no Liger, Hayabusa, Sasuke, Taka Michinoku, Rey Mysterio), and take away his flying, he is average."

I say his brother Matt may be the most underrated wrestler of his time, and I think Jeff puts a strong argument in for being the most overrated. Never enjoyed his character or in ring work. I respect the punishment he put his body through and risks he took , but outside of that nothing about his work in ring appealed to. He played a solid part and did his share as one of the best tag teams of his time in The Hardyz, singles wise only really the CM Punk and Broken Matt feuds appeal to me. Also unreliable and somewhat dangerous of a worker (bound for glory.) 3 of 5 stars."

I've always held Jeff in the highest of regards when it comes to people who have put their body on the line for the sport. However, everything he has done outside of those dark times he is one of the best in my eyes, and nothing can change that."

A person you always rooted for, had you invested in every meaningful match he was in, and simply put the greatest high-flyer of all time. That feeling after he won the WWE Championship will never be topped for me personally."

[9.0] "He should be a ten but too many problems held him back. At his peak, Jeff Hardy was everyone's favourite wrestler. When he won his first WWE Championship it was similar to a "Finish the story" vibe. Being #2 to Matt during the Woken phase was another highlight from his career for me, letting his brother shine was cool to see. Obviously, the Hardy Boyz are one of the greatest tag teams of all time so that elevates Jeff more. It was cool when they were together, and it was cool when Jeff was solo."

But it's sad now watching him hobble around a ring in AEW and just walking down the ramp he has an expression like he's being stabbed. It's sad and not just that but the drug problems and just all the second chances it sucks man. But he's still just so fucking cool to me man I will always love Jeff Hardy no matter what. Is Jeff Hardy the best or even a good bell to bell wrestler? No. Do I care? Nah. Jeff Hardy is the man he made me fall in love with professional wrestling and that TLC match from Wrestlemania X-Seven is my favorite WWE match ever and it holds a very special place in my heart."

He is the patron saint of spot monkeys, watch him wrestle a singles match and you will see how limited he is, it's so boring. He's good in tag matches and matches where he throws himself off things like a fucking idiot but that's all he is. I've also never understood his "Charismatic Enigma" nickname, he is so fucking bland on the mic, can you name 3 good Jeff Hardy promos? you can't because he fucking sucks. He also hasn't looked cool since the mid 2000s, I don't understand why people think he's so cool or hot. But the main reason I dislike Jeff Hardy is for his real life problems. If you think I'm an asshole for this, fair enough but I don't care. I can't think of anyone who has fucked up so publicly so often and been given so many second chances, he is truly spoilt. The cycle goes that Jeff gets fucked up on drugs like an idiot, it goes too far (and sometimes way too far), he takes time away and he hear he's "on the road to recovery" and "fighting his demons". I can't believe how many times it has happened and how people welcome him back with open arms. He will never get clean. Ever. He's had chance after chance to stop being a fucking junkie but he's squandered the goodwill everytime. but it doesn't matter because that goodwill seems to be endless. he is a complete fuck up and always will be. rating him a 2 because hes had some legendary spotfests."
