[7.0] "Guys Chuck Palumbo was a fine wrestler, had some great matches, a great ring prescence and an excellent tag team in the very early 2000's with billy gunn, however it just never clicked for him to be a super world class guy. Doesn't mean he was bad by any stretch though"

[6.0] "Chuck Palumbo is rated lower than Grayson fucking Waller who is considerably worse in the ring than Chuck. As part of a team with Sean O'Haire, Shawn Stasiak, and especially Billy Gunn, he was a perfectly serviceable big man during his time and with Billy and Chuck, had a nice run as tag champs with hilarious, albeit a bit homophobic, characters."

[6.0] "Chuck Palumbo had the physique, the size, and a decent presence, but there was never a moment in his career where it felt like it all truly clicked. He was always just there. Whether it was as a tag partner, a sidekick, or a guy trying to get over as a biker, Chuck kept getting opportunities but never capitalized on them in a meaningful way. No signature matches. No promo that moved the needle. Just another big guy with a cool entrance theme and a lot of missed potential. To his credit, in ring he was safe, solid, and clearly worked hard. But in an era full of standout talent, he never found that extra gear that separated stars from roster fillers. Chuck Palumbo had the tools but never the spark. A dependable hand with a few gimmicks that briefly caught fire, but no defining moment or legacy that stands out in the long run."

[5.0] "Chuck had a lot of success in tag teams. FBI, Billy & Chuck or even teaming with Stasiak or Jindrack all went pretty well. Didn't stand out as a singles star with his biker gimmick. He was a pretty good big man but not giant wrestling at the time."

[6.0] "With his size (Scott Hall is a great comparison) and attractive face, all he needed was the right training and confident mic skills to make a gerjillion dollars in the 'rasslin business. Unfortunately those last two were a bumpy road for Mr Palumbo. The dude had great timing and understanding of pace, a *VERY* good looking punch and superb control of such a large frame. Chuck made a nice lil career out of being a "tag guy", but only the team with Billy Gunn excelled. He was saddled with Sean O'Haire early, which was a detriment. Actually - his whole WCW situation was detrimental and it all started at the power plant. While Chuck had a wealth of upsides (he left his ego at home), he never did learn properly until on the road with the 'E, and that left him behind most others (even though he fared exceptionally well for a power plant guy). He left the business sooner than later because his passion was elsewhere. If Chuck was older by 5 to 8 years and/or was in the business that much longer, his career would have looked entirely different and likely for the better. Notwithstanding: Billy & Chuck were a very good tag team and I wish Chuck Palumbo had more to his career. 6.25 rounded down for true potential never fully realized."

[4.0] "Since he was part of a tag team most of his career, he was a good tag partner. I liked his involvement in the FBI and Billy&Chuck. I think they were pretty entertaining and he did a good job in playing his part. However, he wasn't anything special when he wrestled as a single. As far as his wrestling goes, there wasn't anything remarkable at all and he couldn't really talk either. As long as he was with someone, he was alright. Otherwise i don't think he would've last very long in the business."

[4.0] "A fairly decent tag guy who could work the big enforcer gimmick and could work a basic match (well as much as the Power Plant barely taught, anyway) and his work with Billy Gunn, despite the poor taste of gimmick, was actually not bad for the time and they fit pretty well together as a vet/rookie kind of team. After they spilt he had his shitty Undertaker rip off biker gimmick that no one really cared about.... less about that the better."

Not bad in the ring (although rather generic). If he was ever on my television, I was usually wishing he would go away very quickly."

[3.0] "I always wondered why his finisher was referred to as the Jungle Kick, but seeing that he used to be known as Tarzan Boy explains that. Granted, it doesn't explain why they continued to use that name for when he was just Chuck Palumbo in the Natural Born Thrillers, but I'll take it. Anyways, he wasn't much of a promo back when he took Curt Hennig's move and went on to feud with Luger, and he still wasn't when he reappeared as a biker on SmackDown! years later. He did, however, have some degree of star quality in the WCW days, and I still thought he could be someone even during the Natural Born Thrillers days. Biker-Chuck, however, was clearly never going to get over, as he just didn't have the wrestling skills or ability to connect with a crowd. He had some okay tag matches in WCW for being just a few years into the business, though. (Take my rating with a grain of salt as I've yet to see any of his work during the days of Billy & Chuck, which is obviously how he is remembered by most)"

DanTalksRasslin wrote on 03.06.2015:
[6.0] "Palumbo had a pretty standard "big guy" skill set, though he did possess some surprising agility, such as in his ability to pull off a good-looking superkick finisher. Did reasonably well with his biker gimmick, but didn't really have the personality or mic skill to make it higher up the card as a single. Fared better as a tag wrestler, having successful runs with various partners under various gimmicks (Billy & Chuck, FBI, Perfect Event, Palumbo/O'Haire). Is notable for having been half of the last true WCW World Tag Team Champions with Sean O'Haire."
