[9.0] "Ethan Page is a very talented heel, and his work in NXT has shown he can hold a big title as the top heel. Hopefully, he will have a good main event run on the main roster, since he has the promo skills and in-ring abilities to be at least a multi-time IC/US champ, if not more. If Jey Uso can be world champ, then Ethan Page for sure can be."

[9.0] "I love Ethan Page, he's just a great heel and he's really good in the ring. AEW dropping the ball with him is a mystery, he's been killing it in NXT."

[8.0] "How AEW dropped the ball with Ethan Page is absolutely staggering. Simply an excellent in story teller. Fantastic at promos. The ultimate heel and has had NXT built around him. One of the best things about NXT right now. My only concern is when he's called up, what's the plan for him?"

[9.0] "Ethan Page is phenomenal and I've been getting more and more impressed with his performances. He's had so many good matches in his current NXT North American title reign. He has a great gimmick and does his heel job so well. I'm very excited to see him on the main roster."

[9.0] "His presentation and wrestling have been on full display since he "lost his smile." Leading to arguably the best match on the best show NXT presented in 2025. His mic work and gimmick show how well he can work with anybody. He has shown he belongs in WWE in a big way. His amazing title reign has only boosted his stock. The matches with Wagner Jr., Mustafa Ali, Ricky Saints, and that killer fatal 4 way at Worlds Collide have shown he can work and with a wide variety of wrestling styles."

[8.0] "A few years ago, I would've said this guy had that mid card title ceiling. Since then, he's blown me away with his work in NXT to the point I think he's going to end his career as a former WWE/World champion. His in-ring work is solid, his character and presentation are both good, and his promos are great. I think he's a sleeper hit for being the first NXT talent in his crop (2021-2024) to be a world champion."

[9.0] "WWE and AEW aren't exactly keen on trading talent. However, in my opinion, they should take a more liberal approach to wrestlers jumping to the competition. Performers can get stale; they stop capturing the audience's imagination, and fans get bored. Transfers can breathe new life into a career. Everyone wins: the promotions that pick up 'washed' talent who then shine in a new environment, the wrestlers who get a fresh spark, and the fans who get to see new faces in their favorite companies. Swerve Strickland and Ricochet are perfect examples. On the flip side, we have Ethan Page--a guy who became a compelling character with a good story and can really shine in NXT. It's a great, successful evolution from being a generic worker to a truly interesting persona."

[9.0] "Ethan is wonderful, imo. He plays a very fun type of heel where you actually want to see more of him on the show and he's not just spouting off generic nonsense. He can also hold his own in the ring pretty damn well too."

[10.0] "Ethan Page is straight-up one of the most reliable and entertaining performers in wrestling right now. The guy has that perfect blend of arrogance, sharp mic skills, and in-ring versatility that makes him stand out every time he's on screen."

[7.0] "A good steady hand with lots of experience who plays a critical role in NXT always elevating those around him, and a rather believable heel with a strong character although I would hesitate to say he's "charismatic" and he sometimes can be a little cringe-inducing on the mic. He's perfect where he is with what he does, I respect him."

[9.0] "Ethan is a truly incredible performer both in the ring and on the mic. His run in NXT, especially this year, has been truly remarkable. Literally every feud/match he's had is incredibly well-crafted and makes you enjoy watching. I sincerely hope he doesn't fade into the main roster and secures a spot on the uppercard or even the main roster."

[8.0] "What a great talent. He is like WWE's version of Swerve Strickland, a guy that other company never recognized potential in or gave the opportunity to. You could always see flashes of talent in him, although I never saw too much of his work in indies and TNA. In the ring he is much better than you'd think based on this rating. As a promo he is one of the best under WWE umbrella. He should do nice on main roster. It just sucks that he is 36"

[10.0] "Ethan Page is what a modern day should really be. A prick who doesn't know when to back down and will change his mood in an instant if he needs it. Ever since keeping up with him since his AEW debut at Revolution, I've been a fan of this guy and who he is. A decent sized heel who will do whatever it takes to win, even if that means losing his smile. He's entertaining, a veteran at the sport, and a great in-ring worker. Ethan has proved he can wrestle like his life depended on it multiple times, yet the main criticism is that "he can't keep up" but he can. Pre-WWE with his match with Kenny Omega is the best example I can give here. 10* from me."

[8.0] "He's not bad, but I watched him in TNA and saw only mid-carder and guy who can't be respected even by TNA, now he's in WWE and showing good performance"

[6.0] "I didn't find Ethan Page intriguing or even good until his NXT run. He was fine in TNA and his tag team with Josh Alexander was pretty good, even though Josh was clearly the star. His AEW run sucked and I was skeptical on him in NXT. But Page has proved to me that he's a solid hand. Not quiet great or good, but decent. His ring work is fine, but his character work and promos are the obvious highlights. He plays a Chickenshit heel perfectly. Ethan Page is a fine Upper Mid-carder who could also lend a hand in the Main Event scene when lacking"

[8.0] "His NXT run has been gold so far. I always liked him in AEW, just figured he wouldnt fit long term and hoped for the best in nxt, and he has been one of the best acts."

[5.0] "Very boring wrestler and character, though he isn't bad, just doesn't interest me at all. His promos do suck though, all he does is scream to try and show emotion, it usually doesn't work. In ring he is closer to good than bad, but again, he's boring."

[6.0] "Ethan Page is a talented and versatile performer who has all the tools to succeed, but has often been stuck in start and stop booking. In the ring, he is smooth, athletic, and knows how to work a crowd. His promo game is a real strength, with natural charisma and timing that can carry both comedy and serious angles. He also has good heel instincts and an understanding of how to build heat. The problem is that despite his potential, he has been underutilized. Whether in AEW or now in WWE, he rarely gets sustained momentum or consistent creative direction. When given the right platform, he can absolutely deliver, but so far he has not been positioned as a true breakout star."

[7.0] "As a heel or a face he's been doing the same gimmick for several years. It's a bit stale but he's a solid worker and decent promo."

[8.0] "Ethan Page good! His run in Nxt so far outside of his feud with trick has been very good. I need him on sd or raw pronto challenging for one of the mid card titles asap"

[8.0] "EGOOOOOOOO, I really love this guy, he is very much entertaining, he is good in the ring, and great in everything else, not even a month and I really loved him in NXT, he has a lot of potential and I see a bright future for him."

[3.0] "All of his matches are boring and anti-climactic. The "Ego" gimmick along with all of his promos are the epitome of cringe. If it wasn't for him, Shawn Spears, Ridge Holland, and Brooks Jensen being shoved down our throats the NXT men's division would be 100x better."

[8.0] "Ethan Page is a very well-rounded package. He's good at getting the reaction he wants on the mic. He's polished in the ring. He carries himself well and knows how to tailor his image. It really shows that he's a vet because he overall just seems to get the business. He isn't the flashiest with his moveset and isn't the absolute best in the company at any one thing, but he's so good at delivering exactly what's needed in any given moment, whether it's selling a move in-ring, being underhanded and manipulative in a promo, telling a story through a match, etc. He's a jack-of-all-trades and can fit well wherever he's placed either in NXT or the main roster whenever they have something good for him to do and call him up."

[8.0] "He's very good. He's a really good champion and the perfect heel for that division. His best work is on the mic but he's underrated in the ring."

[8.0] "In AEW he wasn't really a guy who had the spotlight. Once he transitioned to WWE he has been very good from his solid promo work, and character work he been excelling in WWE, now he's the WWE NXT World Champion in a short time. Once he makes the Main Roster I can see him be a very solid WWE US or I.C. Champion."

[5.0] "He's probably the most mediocre wrestler on the planet right now, there is just nothing here on the good OR on the bad and it is almost impressive. He delivers bland promos with his bland character and then goes out there and puts on very bland matches."

[7.0] "Havent really seen much of his WWE run, but Im a regular AEW watcher. I thought he was alright in the ring, I cant really remember any matches that were really great off the top of my head. I thought his tag team with Scorpio sky had a lot of potential, but it immediately got wasted away when they got out with Americas top team and they did that awful Jericho feud"

[7.0] "Ethan Page since coming into WWE has been booked very well, and audiences have given him a very good reception. Being NXT champion this early since joining the roster was a very unique idea, so it clearly shows that the company has full trust in him. His promos are solid, and his wrestling is solid. Very charismatic guy."

[8.0] "Very underrated and once heavily underutilized wrestlers in pro-wrestling at this time. He was a top tag team guy in TNA with Josh Alexander. His AEW career was kinda sad because he was pretty over with crowd but just wasn't used. His NXT stuff has been really fun and I really enjoy the stuff he's doing with NXT World Champion."

[8.0] "Ethan is a pretty underrated talent, he is really charismatic and a good promo as well as a gimmick that can work as both a face and a heel. His work in AEW and ROH was good and he got to wrestle some of the best to ever do it, and now WWE, where he won the NXT Title only a few months after he debuted."

[7.0] "Solid in-ring ability and phenomenal mic work! His current run in NXT is very entertaining this dude is gonna be a menace once he his the main roster."

[7.0] "[7.0] He's alright. Honestly, I kind of see him in the same vein I do CM Punk, where he's a good talker, but doesn't have a ton else going for him. Good, but doesn't stand out in any particular way."

[4.0] "Ethan Page is the most average wrestler an average wrestler could be. In AEW's bloated roster and jam-packed weekly programs, Ethan Page always feels like he's just sorta there without really adding anything. He had good matches in AEW with Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara, but none of those were particularly because of his performance. Billed as 6'2 and 227 pounds or so, he has decent size, but isn't particularly big or doesn't look particularly impressive. His promos are okay, but they're one-note and lacks any passion or intensity when everything he does is yell regardless of the context. Nothing feels real from him. Less than a wrestler, he feels like a guy impersonating a wrestler."

[5.0] "All Ego here has always been middle of the road for me. He's lucky he's got his own promotion because outside of tag teams. The dude has no aura to him. He's a good wrestler, don't get me wrong. But he's missing "it" for me. The feud he had with Darby kind of cemented that for me. He's not able to rise to the occasion in my mind. He's absolutely reliable but he lacks the tools to take it beyond a midcard level. He still has time to possibly make his shot count but I don't see it happening"

[6.0] "I like Ethan. He hasn't been used consistently or booked well, but he makes the most out of the little time that he is given. I agree that there is not much notable about him at first glance, but imo he is a solid promo, a good midcard wrestler, and also adept at comedy work. He has recently gotten in to great physical shape while working ROH."

[7.0] "The definition of a solid hand for your midcard, he is decent in the ring and can do comedy well as not afraid to make himself look silly and is a good promo. One of those that gets lost in the sea of mid to lower card guys in AEW and general poor booking focus."

[6.0] "I think he can be great if given the chance, he's very funny when he has shown his comedic side, he just doesn't get to do much often, lost in a sea of AEW talent"

[4.0] "Every facet seems to have something lacking. He looks good but you never buy him as imposing. He looks strong but you never buy him as a powerhouse. He can talk but you never buy his promos. He can work but you never buy his matches. He's not bad at all but he's the type of guy you wouldn't miss if he went away."

[5.0] "Dont care about this guy. He is not that bad but just hard to care about this guy, whan he is just doing some boring stuff with Matt Hardy"

[5.0] ""I'm not a fan of the "all ego" thing. I believe he has a chubby build. He's rather boring to me. His name reminds me of Adam Page. I sympathised with him after seeing him in the Viceland documentary. But I still can't get excited about this guy.""

[5.0] "I'm not sure how to describe Ethan Page. On one hand he's a perfectly reliable midcarder and decent guy to make feuds out of if others don't have much going on. On the other hand though I've never really been able to 'get' him. His stuff in The Firm has been pretty poor a lot of the time, probably by no fault of his own, and his promos can't quite capture my interest. There's something missing in Ethan Page but I really don't know what."

[5.0] "Ethan Page is another guy where I really just don't get it. I think his promo ability is vastly overstated. He comes across as fake, corny, cliche, and yells far too much. I always think of his segment where he was next to Jorge Masvidal and how ridiculous and fake he came across next to somebody who was acting so natural. He seems like somebody who is forcing himself to try and be more charismatic than he actually is - just a guy playing a part. His wrestling is decent, but I find it confusing that he has shifted towards a more power-based style considering he really isn't very big. To his credit, he is capable of strong matches with the right person - I really enjoyed his matches with Darby Allin in EVOLVE and in AEW. There just seems to be a lot that he needs to work on to become a more standout wrestler on the AEW roster."

[7.0] "Ethan is a promo and charisma guy. He's really, really good on the mic (which makes it weird that AEW keeps pairing him with managers). His character is pretty good, although I think he still has some work to do in order to find the best character fit for himself. In the ring, he's fine. Average, probably. His in-ring ability does seem to be holding him back, and keeps him in the midcard. He has the charisma to move up the card, but he needs to do more to deliver in the ring."

[8.0] "I would say he is naturally in the upper-midcard, and a plausible secondary champion or a tag-team champion. He is one of the better mic guys in AEW, and does the egotistical heel gimmick quite well."

[5.0] "Ethan Page is an average wrestler, has good skills but doesn't make much impact and doesn't want to watch his fights. He had good matches in AEW but all of them are forgettable. He could more, I believe that. But for now, he's just a forgotten fighter on the roster who doesn't call attention."

[7.0] "Ethan Page is really talented. He's got great moves and can cut a good promo. He's still relatively young too. Looking forward to a potential feud with MJF"

[7.0] "All Ego Ethan Page is good at everything but does not excel at anything. Good in the ring, has a good look for pro wrestler, and on the mic. Was booked well and got over in Impact but in AEW has not gotten consistent booking to get the fans behind him"

[8.0] "I don't understand the hate he is getting lately. Ethan Page puts through so much emotion during his promos, as well as working well as both a singles and a tag team wrestler. To me, he has talent on every end and I'm hoping to see gold around his waste in AEW"

[1.0] "Sadly, one of the single most unwatchable wrestlers for me. His matches are generally boring, his promos are horribly grandiose, long and self-aggrandizing, with his heel schtick being irritant in a real world sense, the storylines he foments are generally horribly convoluted, often silly and nonsensical and often veer into crass vulgarity and blasphemy. In addition, his promotional wok in Ontario feels bad top me and he looked eager to blame others before abandoning them for his own interest. What saves him from being a complete dud in my eyes are his real-life interview skills (where he comes of as much more pertinent) and his occasional flashes where he had good matches with the right partner, but otherwise I view him as a severely overrated and shameless self-promoter with practically no substance behind his unpalatable bravado."
