I agree that there is not much notable about him at first glance, but imo he is a solid promo, a good midcard wrestler, and also adept at comedy work. His stuff in The Firm has been pretty poor a lot of the time, probably by no fault of his own, and his promos can't quite capture my interest. There's something missing in Ethan Page but I really don't know what."
[5.0] "Ethan Page is another guy where I really just don't get it. I think his promo ability is vastly overstated. He comes across as fake, corny, cliche, and yells far too much. I always think of his segment where he was next to Jorge Masvidal and how ridiculous and fake he came across next to somebody who was acting so natural. He seems like somebody who is forcing himself to try and be more charismatic than he actually is - just a guy playing a part. His wrestling is decent, but I find it confusing that he has shifted towards a more power-based style considering he really isn't very big. To his credit, he is capable of strong matches with the right person - I really enjoyed his matches with Darby Allin in EVOLVE and in AEW. There just seems to be a lot that he needs to work on to become a more standout wrestler on the AEW roster."
[7.0] "Ethan is a promo and charisma guy. He's really, really good on the mic (which makes it weird that AEW keeps pairing him with managers). His character is pretty good, although I think he still has some work to do in order to find the best character fit for himself. In the ring, he's fine. Average, probably. His in-ring ability does seem to be holding him back, and keeps him in the midcard. He has the charisma to move up the card, but he needs to do more to deliver in the ring."
[8.0] "I would say he is naturally in the upper-midcard, and a plausible secondary champion or a tag-team champion. He is one of the better mic guys in AEW, and does the egotistical heel gimmick quite well."
[5.0] "Ethan Page is an average wrestler, has good skills but doesn't make much impact and doesn't want to watch his fights. He had good matches in AEW but all of them are forgettable. He could more, I believe that. But for now, he's just a forgotten fighter on the roster who doesn't call attention."
[6.0] "He dresses the part of a star, walks like a star, talks like a star, but the problem is that he is a natural midcarder and he has no real "IT" Factor. It is also hard to remember his matches unless he is fighting his greatest rival, Darby Allin. Ethan Page was at his best when he was teaming with the awesome Josh Alexander, who is the best emotionless terminator in all of pro wrestling. UPDATED: I think I may have figured out why Ethan Page really can't get over. It is because he is unbearable and obnoxious. He feels like a child living inside a grown man's body. That's what it really boils down to. He does not feel cool at all, and is always running his mouth, and puts on matches that most people will forget. That is the problem with him. He also does not make people feel anything from him when he is on screen. He is not like MJF, because MJF feels like he is this generation's "Dirtiest player in the game". Whereas, Ethan Page just feels like a grown child."

He had good matches in AEW with Darby Allin and Sammy Guevara, but none of those were particularly because of his performance. Billed as 6? 2 and 227 pounds or so, he has decent size, but isn? t particularly big or doesn? t look particularly impressive. His promos are okay, but they? re one-note and lacks any passion or intensity when everything he does is yell regardless of the context. Nothing feels real from him. Less than a wrestler, he feels like a guy impersonating a wrestler."
[1.0] "Sadly, one of the single most unwatchable wrestlers for me. His matches are generally boring, his promos are horribly grandiose, long and self-aggrandizing, with his heel schtick being irritant in a real world sense, the storylines he foments are generally horribly convoluted, often silly and nonsensical and often veer into crass vulgarity and blasphemy. In addition, his promotional wok in Ontario feels bad top me and he looked eager to blame others before abandoning them for his own interest. What saves him from being a complete dud in my eyes are his real-life interview skills (where he comes of as much more pertinent) and his occasional flashes where he had good matches with the right partner, but otherwise I view him as a severely overrated and shameless self-promoter with practically no substance behind his unpalatable bravado."
[7.0] "Ethan Page could be TNT Champion at this point. I don't know how AEW missed the opportunity to test Page as TNT Champion. Scorpio is meh on the mic while on the other side, Ethan Page shows how great he is."

I guess since he was paired with Alexander he came off as inferior because of how damn good Josh Alexander is but now when he's paired with someone as godawfully boring as Sky, his qualities really shine. Great on the mic, and compared to a large majority of the roster, solid in-ring skills. I guess some wrestlers really do shine when put in a larger environment. Now, if only he could get a push huh. [Old Review]: Always liked Josh Alexander better. He's not a bad wrestler by any means, he's actually a decent in-ring performer. He's just kinda...boring. He comes off as a goof with everything he does and I can't take him seriously as a result. I honestly don't really know what he should actually be doing, because I've got nothing. I haven't really seen any kind of actual personality from him besides the cry-baby gimmick in Impact and his comedy stuff is a dud. Disappointing, but also not since there isn't much potential with him in the first place."
[4.0] "Derivative character of the "egotistical heel." Being in AEW has exposed him because he was very much a big fish in a small pond with IMPACT. Not the case anymore."
[6.0] "Ethan Page is a pretty solid wrestler who has good size and a good look. He has great passion in his interviews and I feel he's hit his stride recently. Good work in Impact in The North and he's shined in Men of the Year."

Like in Impact, AEW has paired him with a much better wrestler to cover the ring aspect. With the AEW roster as stacked as it is, I don't see him going any further than tag champ although Scorpio Sky has the tools for a viable singles run. Ethan's personality is big enough to keep him visible in the midcard but I don't expect any major movement beyond that."

[5.0] "One of the more worrying starts in AEW's short history, Ethan Page debuted as a surprise at Revolution, then promptly fell to Dark and Dark: Elevation. Initially hated his pairing with Scorpio, felt lazy, and then their matches didn't shine either. Fortunately, his feud with Darby Allin and Sting saved his year. Their match at Double or Nothing was an emotional highlight for me as a fan, and his coffin match was decently fun. The run with Lambert has suited Ethan Page really well, as he's got the obnoxious heel gimmick down. I don't hate the idea of that pairing continuing, but I know plenty of fans are hoping it will end."

[8.0] "Ethan Page is the most well rounded wrestler in Impact, and he's a star in the making. He's slimmed down, and bulked up this past year and he looks like a star. He's a master class at tag team wrestling, cuts promos along the full emotional spectrum, is charismatic that without even a word, and is a solid singles wrestler to boot"
[5.0] "I find it difficult to rate Mr. Page as though I admire his dedication to the business, his stalwart status as a benchmark independent player, and his overall workrate, I have zero interest in having him entertain me. He's boorish, relatively unattractive to behold, and unlike other heels I enjoy (T Lee, ) his first appearance elicits from me an inner-outer groan. Really it's a shame his regular tag partner is so often injured/in-out of the business because if Josh was to achieve a higher profile, which did look likely in the early 10's, his increased status would have positively rubbed-off of Mr. Page."

Mit dem richtigen Gegner können auch überdurchschnittliche Matches rauskommen, aber eher selten. In dem Bereich daher 6 Punkte. Alles in Allem 8 Punkte, für einen wirklich unterhaltsamen Indywrestler."

[9.0] "Underrated worker, terrific promo guy. One of the best heels not signed by a major company. With some of the big guns from EVOLVE leaving, Page deserves to be a top guy there (not jerking the curtain). I would be shocked if he wasn't picked up by WWE/NXT in the next couple of years; he simply has undeniable charisma."
[7.0] "I like him, he's very funny but I don't really see him as the future of EVOLVE, as Gabe appears to. If they're positioning him as the next Gargano, I don't have a great view of the future. All the same, he's talented and likable."

He is a great wrestler with great character, great mic skills and is part of a great tag team with Josh Alexander. I hope his future will be bright in professional wrestling."

Wenn er es jedoch in die WWE schaffen will, dann sollte er noch intensiver an seinem Körperbau und Promocutting arbeiten. Im Ring finde ich ihn bisher ordentlich, aber auch da ist noch Potenzial zur Steigerung vorhanden."
