"A fantastic wrestler, insane how shes as good as she is at such a young age as well I love her character work and limbwork during her matches I also love how she got the prodigy nickname, lives up to it perfectly"
[9.0] "Her nickname isn't just a branding decision, Roxanne Perez truly deserves to be called The Prodigy. Yes, it's fair to say she's still searching for her identity when it comes to personality and presentation. Many critics argue she feels bland or lacks that one defining hook for fans to fully latch onto. And I understand that perspective. But context matters: Roxanne is still so young and already showing incredible promise. With time, the right mentorship, and steady creative direction, her charisma and crowd connection will catch up to her in-ring ability. This year's booking hasn't done her many favors. Losing repeatedly is not the kind of treatment that helps a star rise in the eyes of the main roster audience, who don't often tolerate seeing a wrestler pinned again and again. The only reason I'm not more frustrated is because I believe WWE books her this way precisely because they know she can handle it. She's that good. And make no mistake, Roxanne Perez is a fantastic worker. I've rarely seen someone this young carry matches with such poise. When she's not carrying, she thrives even more, as seen in her excellent matches against IYO SKY, Jordynne Grace, and Giulia. Those bouts prove she's already capable of delivering main-event caliber performances today. In ten years, she'll still be considered "young" in wrestling terms, and by then she could easily be an all-time great. Her versatility is remarkable. She can wrestle as a heel or face, thrive in singles or tags, work as an underdog or the favorite. She blends crisp technical wrestling with aggression, sells and bumps convincingly, and has an instinctive feel for what makes a match engaging. She inspires younger fans, especially young women, with how naturally she embodies the craft. And when mistakes happen, as they inevitably do in wrestling, has the presence of mind to improvise smoothly, keeping everything grounded in realism. Roxanne Perez is destined for greatness. Right now she's a 9, but I'm certain that years from now, I'll come back to this review and raise it to a 10."
[8.0] "Wonderful wrestler, deserves wins... her record this year is insane. Most losses in the company after having just won the NXT Slammy last year for best superstar... make it make sense. Unfortunately, this is not helping her get over with the "main roster" fans who don't seem to respect or care about NXT history. When they see someone losing EVERY match there is no reason for them to get behind them or care unless they have loads of charisma in those losses (like Chelsea Green). The real issue with Roxanne (and this is coming from someone who considers her my #2 overall) is that she somehow has been around for years and still has no catchphrases, nothing the fans latch onto. She needs to be less afraid to look silly, really commit to the crazy and over the top stuff that people like Liv Morgan and AJ Lee do. Some of that comes from facial expressions and mannerisms. The rest is from the verbal stuff. If she could figure out how to get fans to respond to her on the mic and in promos, she'd be a 10. She actually has a shirt that says "Get Rox'd" but has only used the phrase once (maybe twice) on TV, and it was like 2 years ago on NXT. She idolizes Punk and AJ, but doesn't share their promo ability. I hope it's something that can be taught / learned but I'm not sure it is. I think charisma is something you have or you don't. Finally, I accept that some of this is WWE's fault, like Roxanne can't just pick up a mic because she wants to. It needs to be scripted. They need to put her in the position to do more than chase "Dom" and take pinfalls."
"It's no longer puzzling why smarks (and, in turn, NXT booking committee) elevate these types of wrestlers, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating. You have to be able to talk. You have to give us a reason to care beyond doing moves. You have to have a distinct and distinguished character. This wrestler has none of those things. She's a smark magnet being graded on a curve because she's barely old enough to drink. One of the rare NXT recruits from either indys/college whose training didn't completely pass through one ear and out the other. And that's all it takes these days to be considered a "prodigy." Compare her to similarly dark/goth/young Rhea Ripley - Rhea has a character, Rhea has elements that define her personality, where the average fan can almost look at her at any time and know what she is thinking or how she is feeling about a situation. Rhea can do all the moves and spots, but that's not what makes people love her. Speaking of character - what Roxanne does is basically what Liv Morgan does, but because Liv Morgan already does it (and did it first, and is 10x better at it, AND is in the same fucking faction as Roxanne), it comes off as bland and uninspired. Because it is. If you're small, that's fine. Iyo Sky is literally one of the best workers in that company, and maybe the world, but Iyo also has a character, motivations you can see, and a backstory that makes you either hate her or want to root for her. Again, what is tangible that we can take away from Roxanne's performance? What resonates? And again, the answer is basically "Well she's like Liv Morgan and she's really mean." So what? This is the "prodigy" we're referring to?"
[8.0] "She's a great heel with a great wrestling style that blends aggression with technical skills and athleticism. She's very good at telling a story in the ring. She's ridiculously good for her age and has been for many years now which shows you her passion for wrestling. She's not amazing on the mic but passable enough. She might have already hit her skill ceiling, but it's hard to say."
[10.0] "Roxanne Perez's journey continues to inspire many aspiring wrestlers, and it will be exciting to see how her career unfolds in the coming years. She's the best, the prodigy, and my favorite wrestler of all time. I can't wait for her to win a singles title on the main roster; maybe she'll have a feud with Liv in 2026 for the WWC."
[10.0] "Roxanne Perez is a rising star in women's wrestling with incredible talent and charisma. Her in-ring skills are impressive, combining technical ability with high energy and passion. She has quickly become a fan favorite due to her authentic personality and strong work ethic. Roxanne's potential is limitless, and she consistently delivers exciting matches that keep fans engaged. I truly believe she's destined for greatness and deserves a perfect 10 out of 10 for her contributions so far. A future legend in the making!"
[6.0] "Roxanne is very good and you can see there's a lot of potential there with her. The biggest issue I have is the fact her moves aren't exactly hard hitting. I'm not necessarily expecting her to be a great brawler or anything, but a lot of the moves she does just have zero sound to them and in my opinion, is the thing that really holds her back. She does a lot of great stuff in-ring, but there's no impact, no sound, so it just comes across quite weak. Still, she's very young and has so much potential to be a good wrestler, so if she can improve her move-set and be a little more hard hitting in-ring, then she'll be a great asset to WWE for years to come."
[4.0] "She's a bit overrated I think. I'm also wary of people getting huge pushes that trained with current WWE employees. That doesn't always mean they received special treatment, but there's no possible way to prove it didn't help either. It's a sad paradox. I will say because of her training with Booker T, experience elsewhere first and not having it done entirely by Sara Amato, she's a lot better off than plenty of her fellow wrestlers. Her promos aren't very good. They're not bad, but she's reciting her lines. If she isn't, that's what it sounds like. She's also light on charisma. Fans are way too eager to anoint wrestlers they currently like as the greatest thing to ever happen to all of humanity. If the subreddit sc jerk served its actual purpose, those types of comments would be poked fun at."
[6.0] "I'll be straight with you, I don't think she's that good man. She's close to a 9 if you count ratings from this year and she is not a 9/10 I'm sorry. I see what everyone sees in her too and I get why they called her up, and I've seen her put on good stuff, but most of the time she's just messy and sloppy and has extremely poor timing."
"[8/10]Roxanne is good in the ring but I feel people overrate her too much, she's this obsessed wrestler who wants so much spotlight on her, her NXT work was okay, not seen much from her on the main roster for now"
[10.0] "From the moment she steps into the ring, Roxanne blends technical brilliance with heart and charisma that make you feel every move. Her in-ring style is a masterclass in balance: she's agile yet strong, methodical yet spontaneous, and every match tells a story that hooks you from bell to bell. Her submission game is tight, her strikes are crisp, and she flows seamlessly between offense and defense, making her matches feel fresh and exciting every single time. But don't let her wrestling skills fool you--Roxanne's mic work is just as impressive. She speaks with a natural confidence and authenticity that instantly connects with the crowd. Whether she's cutting a heartfelt promo about her journey or firing back with clever comebacks, she owns the mic like she's been doing it for years. That combination of in-ring excellence and promo prowess makes her a star in the making. And here's the kicker: Roxanne isn't just a future top star--she's already making history. She became the youngest and the first-ever ROH Women's World Champion, which is a massive deal. That's proof that promotions see her as a trailblazer and a cornerstone for women's wrestling moving forward. It's not just about her skill--it's about her presence, her star quality, and the fact that she embodies what modern wrestling fans want: a fierce competitor who can talk, wrestle, and inspire. If WWE (or any promotion) is smart, they'll build around Roxanne Perez like she's the future--because honestly, she is. She's the kind of wrestler who elevates everyone around her, and she's got that rare mix of youth, talent, and charisma that can carry a division for years. The sky's the limit, and honestly, it's just getting started. And I'm shocked that she isn't a three time NXT Champion. Roxanne is the perfect person to break the record of holding the NXT title more than once."
[10.0] "A literal prodigy Roxanne Perez is a young huge talent that just gets better and better you can tell she loves wrestling and it means everything to her. I cannot wait to see what's in store for her in the main roster she carried the woman's division with her nxt run now it's time to do the same in the big leagues in the main roster."
[10.0] "Roxanne understand wrestling at a level I've never seen from someone so young. Her limb work is impeccable, she knows how to get heat on herself, and she does it well. But she has also proven to be a great underdog babyface. The prodigy for a reason, one of the highest ceilings in pro wrestling today."
[10.0] "The best young female wrestler today, her potential is truly immense, she has everything to be the best female wrestler in the history of North America."
[7.0] "Someone who I've long thought was overrated & I never thought the "prodigy" nickname was deserved, especially in her early days. I will say that she's pretty good in the ring & her mic skills have become rather impressive. She's grown on me in recent years."
[10.0] "Roxanne always delivers in the ring, and her second NXT Title run was impressive. The Main Roster of WWE has brought her in since the Royal Rumble, and she's had only great performances, if not big wins yet. It might happen this year, or in the near future, but she will definitely be a World Champions in due time. She could and will have great rivalries with Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Tiffany Straton, Lyra Valkyria, and so on. Acknowledge our Tiny Chief."
[7.0] "Roxanne is good at the little things, she sells well and her matches are good, she's not great at making you believe her offense yet and she's lacking some charisma but she's much better than someone like Lyra in that regard imo"
[3.0] "I am so tired of wrestlers like this whom don't look the part, are completely unremarkable in-ring, & whose characters are not portraying the image of "Badass prize fighter" at all but rather portray "Cast member of Superbad-type teen comedy whom inexplicably found themselves in a wrestling ring after a funny GPS mishap." Roxanne's promos are BAD! After only a couple months of watching, I don't even want to watch her backcatalogue because she hasn't done a single thing worth remembering in-ring during that entire time, not to mention the prospect that applying a face bent to This Boring, Badly-Acted Generic Character would somehow make said character work Even More Boring. She absolutely would not be in the position she is in if not for the fact that she is friends with Booker T, & the fact that she obtained the NXT tag titles within less than 3 months of arrival before going on to obtain the NXT women's championship less than half a year later (before going on to recently obtain it [again! ]) is completely asinine. As though all of this is not bad enough, I absolutely hate the way she's being booked now, too. Is there an open spot on a PPV in a fed hyper-saturated with deserving talent? Is there a new "indestructible monster" you've just debuted in the form of Giulia? Have an amazing new talent like Jordynne Grace that looks a million bucks, shoots fire promos & moves around the ring with purpose & poise? Throw a little Roxanne in there! She really is one cataclysmic booking decision away from me going with a 2, but with a well-deserving champ like Iyo Sky, & with the way 2025 is going? PFF. The most begrudging 3, ever; I go out for a smoke every time she's on."
"This is gonna be my first review on a wrestler on here and who better to start with than the Prodigy herself. She's fantastic in ring and on the mic, definitely gonna be one of the best ever when it's all said and done"
"Absolutely the best young female wrestler in WWE after Paige. Roxanne carries the whole women's division in NXT and I believe soon in main roster as well. She can cut promo as well, that's an unbelievable feat for a young wrestler."
[9.0] "She needs to get more flowers for what she did for the NXT Women's division, she's a future legend, she's really good in the ring, and her matches, especially against Jordynne Grace and Thea Hail, were amazing, her mic skills aren't good, which is why I'm not giving her 10, but there is room for improvement, if she moves to the main roster, she better get the push she deserves"
[8.0] "Young star with a ton of potential. She shined on the indies before being quickly scooped up by WWE. She had a great run in NXT and shined in a crowded women's division. Now she is starting to be more featured on the main roster and she has so much potential."
[8.0] "Roxanne Perez is the future of the women's division alongside Tiffany Stratton. I can see them running it together for the next 15 years. Absolutely amazing in ring, could still improve on the mic, but she's only 23 and I have no doubt that she will."
[10.0] "One of the best talents that NXT has ever had, now I see her as a superstar who will leave an incredible legacy in the women's division, her run in NXT was one of the best I have seen, she was highly decorated and had an incredible reign."
[9.0] "A breakout superstar who's had SO MUCH DAMN POTENTIAL displayed so far. In-ring work is awesome, her NXT title run was one of the greatest ever, she can get the fans emotionally connected in a match. It's very exciting seeing her on this path especially as she was the runnerup AND iron woman of the Royal Rumble this year."
[10.0] "Great talent, one of the best champions of 2024, her talent is unmatched, she has progressed incredibly over time, improving her already high level in the ring and her skills on the microphone, now she has qualified for the elimination chamber, it seems that a year full of victories and greatness awaits her."
[10.0] "my favorite (active) women in wrestling & i can't wait to see her on the main roster (i swear if triple h fumbles her...) great in ring, made the next step as heel in terms of mic/character work - perhaps the AJ Lee comparisons are another reason I like her so much"
[10.0] "After Roxanne turned heel, she's blasted off to the top of the women's division of NXT. Roxanne has a bright future on the main roster, she can be annoying sometimes, but she makes up for it in the ring was fantastic matches. I wish she won the royal rumble instead of Charlotte. The fact that she's in her early 20s and she's this good, I can't wait to see what the future holds for Perez."
[9.0] "You probably won't ever see me give a ten on this site. I will say though... This is definitely the highest rating I have given someone. I feel like Roxanne Perez is a good wrestler. She seems to be able to play the parts of heel and face. Both incredibly well. She's good on the microphone. She also held the NXT Women's Championship for a considerable amount of time. Then she dropped it to Guilia. Which was a good choice in of itself because Guilia is great too. Some superstars don't need a championship to look like a champion and one of those superstars. Is Roxanne Perez and she just had an amazing performance in the Royal Rumble. A well deserved achievement. After everything she did for NXT. I wish her all the success in the world on the main roster. Congratulations Roxanne."
[10.0] "One of the Best Wrestlers in NXT, and has really grown so much, and her Heel run was Far beyond what i ever imagined, and it looked so natural, and she played that role so well. Now she needs to go to the main roster, and having her first feud with Bayley is such a great idea."
[10.0] "I'm giving Roxanne a 10/10 because, even though she's still so young, I truly believe she has the potential to become a wrestling immortal. Her skill, charisma, and overall presence in the ring are beyond impressive, and she's only getting better with time. What sets her apart is the natural connection she has with the audience and how effortlessly she stands out in any match. Her maturity and consistency in the ring show a level of experience well beyond her years, and I can see her being one of the biggest names in women's wrestling for years to come. Honestly, she's my favorite women's wrestler of all time because she just has that special something that makes her so captivating to watch."
[9.0] "Roxanne is pretty good. Not amazing, as she moves kind of slow at times and her offense often looks kinda weak, but she also has nights where she seems to just flip a switch and wrestle very well. All in all, she's hit or miss to me, but she can be very good at times, and given how young she is, certainly has potential to become a lot better. [[[Edit: updating my mid-2023 where I rated her a 6 to 2025]]] Yeah, Roxanne improved astronomically in 2024. I always knew she had it in her, and I would now say she's one of the best female wrestlers in WWE, up there with the best right now, despite being only 23. The 'switch' that she used to sometimes flip to put on great performances, is now just consistently turned on, and I think the heel run as NXT champ was exactly what she needed to really get going. She's been having banger after banger, and I don't think that's stopping anytime soon. In fact, I just hope WWE doesn't squander what they have in her. She's gorgeous and insanely talented and very young. I honestly think she is the future face of women's wrestling in WWE, provided she keeps going like this and gets booked properly. Easy 9/10"
[7.0] "She's very young with a very high ceiling and she's already good to great in-ring but her promos are all over the place in quality and I'm worried about how she'll match up against some of the "giants" on the main roster. I'm worried about them calling her up soon as an early call up could be a death sentence for her and I think she needs at least 1-2 more years in NXT, but I'm hoping she proves me wrong if they do give her a chance."
[10.0] "Womens wrestling will be even better in the future and a big reason as to why is Roxanne Perez. Something clicked for her after she turned heel. Her match structure, her psychology, everything has just leveled up during her second run as champ and I cant wait to see whats in store for her in the future because I know this is only just the beginning"
[10.0] "She has shown from time to time that she could be a future world wide star and has got a bright future ahead of her. I must admit, she's not the complete package yet, but I'm gonna rate her a 10/10 based on what I've seen from her specially in 2024. She's top tier, smooth and resilient in the ring. She's the smallest person in this company that you can believe in and take them serious. I really enjoy her in-ring action and her moveset. I hope it just gets better."
[5.0] "Roxanne's character work is extremely cliche and boring. "I'm a cocky heel and I'm better than you! ". No nuance or sublety. She is good in the ring and can deliver a good story in a match. However, her finisher is pretty weak and her matches are predictable as she relies heavily on one move to get pins. Again, my main issue with her is that her promos are insufferable and her character work has been done a million times. Also, 23 isn't that young so it's probably time to drop the prodigy moniker."
[9.0] "I really do love Roxanne, shes so young yet having imo one of the best NXT womens title reigns. My issue with Perez is that she tries too hard to replicate AJ Lee in her promos, which I understand AJ Lee is a big inspiration for her but she should focus less on being like AJ and focus more on being Roxanne Perez. AJ always sounded very authentic and less try hard in her promos but it just comes off as disingenuous with Roxanne. And her facial expressions can be cringe at times. I also worry about what they will do to her once she arrives to the main roster, shes pretty small and Triple H is a gooner for big muscular women and she is too talented to be just pushed to the side."
[9.0] "Roxxane Perez is a star in the making! this run she's currently on as a heel showcase her duality able to be a plucky babyface to a overconfident heel so well! her ability to pull out all the stops and is continuing to thrive into the status & living up to the moniker as "The Prodigy"! I wish nothing for the best for her in the future & hope she has a even more flourishing career on the main roster!"
[9.0] "Roxanne is one of the best wrestlers in NXT. She is the prodigy and has lots of potential. Great in-ring worker and skills overall. Youngest 2x NXT womens champion. She will be the face of the womens division soon."
[10.0] "It has been great to follow Roxanne's career from day one in NXT. I didn't see much of her previous career but I know what she has done and all her accomplishment before signing with WWE. She has been climbing up very fast in my list of favorites for the last year or so. Becky Lynch is my favorite overall but Roxanne has been so awesome and so amazing that she is already 2nd behind Becky. She will probably be #1 for me once Becky retires. I hope she continues to shine and make people happy and smile the way she makes me smile and happy :D"
[8.0] "I like Roxanne Perez, her run as a heel is being incredible, she knows how to do it very well, super athletic and has great skills in the ring, she is definitely the future of WWE"
[7.0] "Roxanne's a great talent and slated for big things in WWE for a long time to come. I'm often left a little confused by the way people talk about her, as I don't think she's a generational talent like an AZM or Victoria Yuzuki, but that's perfectly fine. Outside of the forced narrative & eyebrow-raising booking around her at times, she's done a terrific job throughout her career and deserves all the flowers in the world for carrying the women's division on NXT at such a young age."
[7.0] "It seems as though Roxanne Perez was born to be a babyface because of her size, ring and mic-skills. Whoever's persuaded Perez being an agressive threat ought to look back and rethink if he made a right decision. Make little girls acting dishonorably and grossly is insanly hilarious and it's not a complement"
"Simply put Roxanne Perez is the future of women's wrestling. Her heel turn helped her develop character and improve her mic work and her in-ring talent is unmatched. Now she can be a top face or heel and any match she's in is a guaranteed banger. It's time for her to take over Raw or SmackDown."
[8.0] "Roxanne Perez is one of the most talented young wrestlers in North America today. She's only been wrestling for six years (and she's only been wrestling in promotions with real TV time for half of that) but she feels like someone with twice as much experience. She's fantastic at leading matches and has produced several good to great results with virtual rookies. In that regard, she is head and shoulders above the rest of the NXT Women's division. Her promos don't stick out as a strength yet (she's not a bad talker at all, but her heel persona is unconvincing at this point in her development), but she's only 22 and can only get better from here. She, Kelani Jordan, and Sol Ruca will be massive successes when it's time for them to go to Raw or SmackDown in a year or two. Until then, Roxanne is the strongest ace figure that the NXT women have had in a long while."
[8.0] "I can easily say Roxanne Perez is going to be a WWE legend in the Women's division. She can put on amazing matches regularly and can put on decent promos but they do seem heavily influenced by AJ Lee's style which isn't very unique. However Roxanne is a believable Babyface and a new style of Heel that I love. She doesn't do the usually attacking backstage and cheating to win. She just talks crap and backs it up by beating everyone. Roxanne is the future of the WWE and will comfortably fit on the main roster. Until her debut she will continue to be the best women on NXT right now. 8/10"
[5.0] "Roxanne works well as a plucky, underdog babyface. She's on the smaller end physically so that can be something fans can get behind and believe. As a heel, she don't got it. I think that's abundantly clear. She lacks the size to be conceived as a threat, especially if she's on the main roster and standing across from the likes of Tiffany Stratton, Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Raquel, Nia Jax, Charlotte or even Becky Lynch or Bayley. She lacks the confidence and personality on the microphone to convey herself as anything different. You can slap a pair of sunglasses and switch up their attire all you want but that doesn't make them convincing as a heel and Roxanne just don't got it. She works the overly choreographed WWE system well and is connected well enough to sustain a career there but she's someone I just don't feel will be successful on the main roster if she's anything but her plucky, underdog character."
[7.0] "At first I thought she was a little bit overrated because of this whole "Prodigy" gimmick putting her on a pedestal for no real reasons except being younger than most of the wrestlers she's facing. Then I realized why she wasn't overrated. Just by looking at her matchs you can see how much of a professional Roxanne Perez is. She can adapt to every situation and recover / improvise from in-ring error very quickly (see the botched Pop Rox on Lola Vice at Takeover). Her mic skills are clearly not the best but she's improving faster than most women in the NXT division. People tend to scream overrated everytime they see someone they don't appreciate being push, the same thing happened to Lyra Valkyria few months ago."
[5.0] "Extremely overrated. She is an indy hype job with a Booker T cosign. People rave about her like some prodigy because of her youth, but she is average at best. She is not believable at all, especially as a heel. She is small, physically unimpressive with a weak moveset. Does not cut good promos. Girl living my dream gimmick becomes tired very quick. Several girls are more impressive with much higher ceilings in NXT."
[9.0] "Roxanne is one of the best in ring especially in nxt. As an in ring competitor she reminds me of a young Sasha Banks fluid fast & eye catching. But similar to todays Mercedes Monè Roxanne struggles with promos & character work. In several of her promos shes had a major stutter & while shes getting better you can clearly tell where her influences are it sounds like shes trying to be an Aj Lee impersonator. Just like her promos her whole character seems like a Aj Lee impersonator constantly saying lines like title on the line & others in that Aj cadence. Her & Cora both have that aj Lee wrestling daughter complex where their lines & characters seem to be more revolved around her then actually about them. Besides that Roxanne is also way more believable as a babyface in all regards her character fits her much more as aggressive than bully & the in ring work is more entertaining. But right now shes one of the future goats & I hope she finds her way through everything."
[10.0] "She is good being both face and heel, heel turn really helped her and she will have a bright future 100%. She is good being both face and heel, heel turn really helped her and she will have a bright future 100%. She is good being both face and heel, heel turn really helped her and she will have a bright future 100%. (Had to write it 3 times, so i could post comment...)"
[10.0] "I saw huge potential in her back when she was in ROH, and she lived up to it. Best woman in NXT right now hands down, and brighest future of any women's wrestler not named Iyo or Rhea. My one problem is she isn't a good heel, but she carried the division as a babyface like breaker."
[8.0] "Already an 8-year ring veteran despite being only 22, the future is absolutely bright for Roxanne. Her steel cage match with Kiana James at Deadline last year elevated James. Roxanne has the rare and valuable ability to make anyone she works with look good, and it's clear that NXT creative trusts her to build their young but very impressive women's division with her as champion."
[8.0] "great wrestler who's only going to improve. I could say the same for her character too but mainly for her as a heel. somethings missing but she still has pretty solid matches and promos as one. im sure it'll click cause she is thee top women's wrestler in nxt and has been for a while"
[4.0] "She is an adequate performer, nothing very interesting. She is good at wrestling but lacks a self-personality, specially with her current heel persona, I just can't take her seriously. She is trying too much to look "evil" but she don't has it. She is also copycatting AJ Lee a lot, most of her promos and mannerisms are based off on her and its annoying. It almost makes you want to shout at her: "find yourself a personality."
[5.0] "I don't see the hype behind Roxanne, I mean she's alright in the ring, but her promos aren't the best and her character work is eh... Her work as a heel just doesn't seem believable to me, it seems to fake & forced. In the ring she's alright, but that depends on her opponent; her match with Lyra at Stand & Deliver was just plain boring, but her match against Natalya on NXT was pretty good. She doesn't really have a character besides 'The Prodigy' and what kind of character is that really, she's got limited charisma and being a heel just doesn't suit her and being a face wasn't doing it either... Maybe I'll come back to change this in the future once she gets called up, maybe she'll develop there, but she should be better developed before moving up."
[9.0] "She was already my favorite as a Babyface in NXT, but it was starting to tread water. I believe the heel turn has done wonders for her and it has only been 3 weeks. As she grows into it more it will get even better. I like that she has changed up her move set as a heel and looks more vicious in the ring. Her promos has got better over time. That was her weak point when she first got to NXT. The future is very bright for Roxanne. I hope they continue to book her well."
[10.0] "So much talent no doubt about that that is why she is "The Prodigy". She is more than ready for the main roster. She is a great babyface however i am liking this new edge to her character it fits her. She definitely has a bright future and she is great on the mic as well. She is the future"
[9.0] "Probably the best prospect for her age in wrestling history. She should be presented as the face of whatever company she is in until she retires (which if she works a normal career, will be sometime in the 2040s or 50s). Impossible not to root for and astounding skill in the ring. Only 9 points right now because I am confident of what she can become. Would be shocked if she does not main event a Wrestlemania. I feel WWE's branding of her as "The Prodigy" is harmful to her character as it is a heel moniker, and she is perhaps wrestling's most natural babyface."
"Roxanne is hands down one of my favorites today , Seeing her grow to the athlete that she is today has been a blessing. I will forever be a fan and , I will forever be cheering for The Baby GOAT"
[4.0] "She isn't awful but she's definitely not good and barely even mediocre. Her entire character is that she's a bubbly and bright-eyed youngster, and they tried giving her some depth by giving her an internal struggle with her 'anxiety' or 'depression'. The issue with all this is that she's a completely dreadful actor who clearly route-learns her dialogue and then spits it out like an emotionless robot, and her mindless smiley attitude makes her look like a literal kid completely out of her depth for a supposed combat-sport athlete. For her non-scripted segments she's also very bad, since her acting remains terrible and completely ruins whatever type of emotion she tries to communicate or whatever idea she tries to get across (I still cringe remembering her delivery of that line "You were ALWAYS my best friend! " to Cora Jade in their 'Weapons Wild' match). This inability to act leans into her other issue of her inability to show convincing passion, since it always feels hollow whenever she tries to fire up and fight back against an opponent who has been dominating her. Her offence itself always looks very weak (her incredibly small size doesn't help, either), and her movements are often quite sloppy whenever she has to do anything that involves sprinting, high-flying, or just putting together a moderately fast-paced series of exchanges. She either wins her matches in purely unrealistic fashion (on account of her weak-looking offence) or with complete luck where she magically manages to get a cheap roll-up or flash pin after having been dominating for 80+ percent of the match, both ways of which make her a thoroughly uninteresting and unexciting character. I won't go as far as to say she's an awful wrestler, since I can at least see some parts of her work that are mediocre or only slightly bad, but she has had MANY bad performances, and each one makes me think less and less of her."
[9.0] "Absolutely confused why her rating is so low? She's so damn good for her age and is one of the most consistent wrestlers in NXT rn. Her matches are so fun to watch. She has lots of potential in the WWE and am extremely excited to see her succeed."
[8.0] "For this young lady, the sky is the limit. Roxanne Perez's stock continues to rise as she is always improving with every match. Her best years are ahead."
[7.0] "Roxanne has tremendous potential. She's already surpassed everyone left in NXT bar Zoey Stark and Alba Fyre, and continues to improve. Still, hints of her greenness still peek through from time to time, mostly has a hesitation or slight awkwardness going into more complex spots. Additionally, she still needs work on her mic skills, but those too are improving. I look forward to returning and raising this score after she's gotten on to the main roster, and really been given a chance to shine."
[10.0] "Now she's NXT Champion, what a woman. Rox is awesome, very good in ring even at such a young age, it's the future of wrestling, bizarre to think how far she can go ."
[7.0] "I'm 2 years older than her, and I still can't believe what she has done so far in the industry. She really is called The Prodigy for a reason. I just hope she can work more on her character, because I find that to be her biggest flaw right now."
[5.0] "I wasn't an avid follower of her career on the Indies, but I saw a few of her matches and thought she was pretty good, not great yet, but had potential to get there. Since arriving in NXT I would definitely say she's gone backwards. Whether it's the level of opponents she's facing or adapting to the WWE style, I don't know, but her in-ring quality is not as good. Being in NXT has also exposed some major flaws in her overall package. She's certainly not devoid of charisma, but she doesn't have a whole lot of it either. She's a really bad promo and awfully wooden in backstage vignettes. She does have a good, spunky, plucky underdog look and energy about her, a very natural babyface, not sure she could adapt to a heel role. Overall, she has promise, but a long way to go."
[7.0] "Ausserordentlich gut für ihr Alter. Wenn WWE es mit dem booking nicht vermasselt könnte sie ein Super-Babyface werden. Man muss sie einfach mögen."
[7.0] "One of the brightest futures of female wrestlers with a high ceilng. I was so impressed by her ability in Ring of Honor last year, as well as Texas indies like Reality of Wrestling and New Texas. Had a superb match on Impact with Deonna Purrazzo earlier this year. She moves so fluidly in the ring and in some ways reminds me of a young Deonna. Even more impressive that she's only 20 so there's still room for improvement. Now she's in WWE as one of the few bright spots of the new look NXT. Weirdly, her presentation on the re-structured brand is quite Black & Gold-esque but it seems management is high on her. Also it feels like she is what they wanted Cora Jade to be, but Cora just wasn't ready for a bigger push. She still needs work on her mic skills and to carve out a distinctive character. Hopefully that side of developmental will prepare her in that way."
[7.0] "Very fun to watch her wrestle, very young and with tons of potential. Needs a lot of work on the mic and could use some acting lessons, but the star quality is there."
[8.0] "Roxanne Perez, FKA Rok-C is another super promising graduate from Booker T's wrestling school. If her stint in ROH is anything to come by, she wil be one of the top women's wrestlers in the world in due time."
[10.0] "I really hope WWE makes her the next big thing. Great look, amazing in the ring, and so easy to cheer and root for. She? s so likeable. Wishing her nothing but the best."
[6.0] "Good prospect with a pretty good level considering the experience she has in the business, she has the potential to keep improving but at the moment she doesn't look like a "prodigy" to me. We will have to see how she performs on bigger stages with more exposure where the pressure is obviously higher than fighting in front of 300 people or less."
[10.0] "Never have I seen someone rise to the top as fast as Rok C, only 3 years in the business and she is already a world champion and one of the next big things in womens wrestling. Phenomenal athlete, great in ring ability, very quick, just the compete package. I cant wait to see her in a bigger promotion like Impact or AEW."
[9.0] "Rok-C is simply incredible in a ring. Only 19 years old and this stratospheric potential she has. Out of Booker T's school, coached by great people. She's going to fold the women's division in the next few years."
[7.0] "She has a ton of potential and a bright future ahead of her. Joining ROH and hitting the indies is a good move with where she's at right now instead of getting lost in the shuffle of a bigger company, but they'll be calling sooner rather than later."
[7.0] "Solid talent for how young she is and passionate about wrestling (there's an anecdote about her choosing her ring name many years ago). Haven't seen much of Rok-C but I do think she'll be around a while so that will change, especially since she already has an ROH deal."
[8.0] "Been very impressed whenever I've seen Rok-C, very technically sound and well schooled for someone so young, kind of like a mini-Purrazzo. Think she'll really improve when the world opens up more for her, though getting a run in Ring of Honor has been great for her so far."
[7.0] "Really liked Rok-C's work. Now, that I watched her in a singles match I can rate how she performs individually in the ring fairly and she did great. Very young and very talented, Rok-C is one to follow closely and the future for her is just brilliant. P. S. Good Code Red."
