[9.0] "Oku is one of the best wrestlers in-ring active today. His workrate and consistency are really impressive. His presentation is great, Amira is the best manager active on the indies, he consistency puts on big matches. There's a reason that RevPro always go back to him as champ over the last few years and that he got Osperay's last indie match. The only thing that holds him back for me is backstage promos, they're inconsistent and sometimes cringey. In-ring promos he can play off the crowd well enough to make up for it, but he needs to step up a level with some of these backstage segments."

I hope for a great future for him and I'm happy that he is also growing in the world wrestling scene, with his excellent debut in ROH."

His best attribute is most definitely his bumping, but he also is very athletic and can carry a match against someone who isn't as good. Get this man a contract with NXT and let the world see what he can do."

His best attribute is definitely his bumping, he's fantastic at taking big hits and truly making you think he's genuinely out of it, yet when it comes to his actual offense I don't find myself particularly engaged with his work, a fine wrestler but that is about it to me personally."

[3.0] "How this guy has an 8.38 rating is unreal to me, very average worker (although he can definitely sell) big "movez" and his matches are full of way too much theatrics that always make them worse. He has a lot of bad habits (rarely sells limb work, Ospreay special) and an uninteresting moveset. His matches with Ospreay are some of the most overrated matches this decade too."

Revision April 2024: Isn't working quite as well as he was - he's being booked as more dominant and it really doesn't suit him."

His combination with Amira is one of my favourite acts in all of wrestling, and he's young so he's just gonna keep getting better. Britwres is in good hands!"

His selling is a bit exaggerated for my tastes, but there is a lot to like about Oku."

[10.0] "Had my MOTY of 2021 and my top match of 2022 (so far) amazing at both singles matches and tag team matches with Connor Mills. A great story telller in the ring and is very consistant, one of the UK's top wrestlers."
ReedPryorNY wrote on 09.07.2022:
[9.0] "This man is extremely talented, and nuanced with his selling. His match with Ospreay from earlier this year stands up as one of the best because it involved Oku's family as well as his quest for the gold. He is the future of British wrestling and the man who should take the Rev-Pro title from Will."

[9.0] "Since I first saw The OJMO at a small show a couple of years ago I have been incredibly impressed by his athleticism, wrestling ability and ability to work a good match with anyone. A couple of years ago I saw him in a match against Cara Noir, which is perhaps the best match that I have ver seen live. Winning the British J Cup should be just the start for him."
respect-wres wrote on 10.07.2019:
[8.0] "For a person that has only been wrestling for two years, Michael Oku/ The OJMO is ridiculously good. As someone else said under me, he is obviously very passionate and committed to becoming a great wrestler if his matches are already so good. This man has the potential to be a 10 and to be a top star in the wrestling world."
