He is so unbelievably funny when he wants to be, he's so fun to watch during promos, the dance, the cowering to marina, Danny just understands it. Plus he is an incredible technical wrestler. I've only given him one 10 point singles match, but he is so consistent in the ring, got a great style that can work with anyone. I love red death."

Currently, I don't see him breaking past International / Continental levels, but, like I say with others, I'd like to be proven wrong. He's great with the crowd, decent on the mic, best on the mat. 8/10."

Perpetually, he's the underdog in most of his matches but also feels like he has enough experience to not seem like he's catching up to his opponent. Man, I hope he's coming after the Continental title in this year's C2 and wins."

Chonky Chicken 69 wrote on 23.08.2026:
[4.0] "He's sort of a weird enigma, & not in a good way. He's 6 foot solid, which prevents him from finding a niche fighting similarly-ranked/"cruiserweight-type" opponents in AEW, and yet he's under a smooth two-hundo, which (along with his poor charisma) prevents him from looking credible when fighting people like Edge, Swerve, Brody, Ciampa, you get the idea. They haven't even given him a ton of opportunities to take the mic in the Riders, and when he does, it's always semi-convincing at best. He's just sort of there. The prospect of him fighting Claudio tonight is really kind of insane."
Treywar25 wrote on 25.06.2026:
[6.0] "He's a very good technician in-ring but his character work and charisma is lacking. He was gaining some momentum with a less serious gimmick but his midcard title run fell kind of flat and then his new gimmick with the Death Riders just doesn't fit. Took him weeks to get nice gear and he tries to act like an intense butt kicker but just doesn't come off as authentic compared to the other members. Moxley doesn't always make the most coherent promos but it still seems to fit his character."
Brye wrote on 18.06.2026:

Actually gonna up this from a 7 to an 8 because I think Danny has been doing some awesome work lately. Especially loved the Takeshita match and the tag against Brodido."
Captain Cheese wrote on 05.06.2026:

[5.0] "Garcia's AEW pushing has always confused me. The guy is utterly middle of the line in wrestling, though looks-wise he's pretty frail. I suppose he puts in a decent amount of work but it doesn't make him entertaining to watch for a prolonged period every week. He feels like someone that should've been a lowcard jobber simply."

Wolverine3187 wrote on 08.03.2026:
[5.0] "In the ring he is solid, but unspectacular. He can wrestle, but sometimes it doesn't look believable. As a personality he's pretty bland and unremarkable. Doesn't cut a good promo and currently trying to act like a badass comes across as disingenuous. He's still really young and could get alot better, but time is running out before he gets pigeonholed as a lower midcard guy who just eats pins for stars."
ReiEscobar wrote on 07.03.2026:
[8.0] "Good boy, for sure, and he is highly underrated. Most people don't know or at least don't see how good as a wrestler Daniel Garcia is. Always was pretty smart, I end up finding out about him when he had a Rampage match facing CM Punk, I just saw that guy as a rookie on NBA that somehow points 20 in a game with his team completelly blew out, you know? He always took crowd reaction, but AEW decision to put him with Jericho on that stupid and unnecessary stable only worked well because it helped to development in the end the wonderful beauty story between him and Daddy Magic. If he somehow goes to WWE, we can say for this one, a loud and clear "Tony Fumble"."

He's good at wrestling, I'll give him that, not saying he's terrible at it, he has had some good matches in his career, but he used to have a funny shtick that people liked, he would do this dance that was annoying, but it was over, but once he got rid of that, he became a bland tough heel who doesn't take things lightly. He's not very good on the mic."
[4.0] "With the right wrestler, he can put a good match but ever since he joined the death riders he's been a total Joke. Those shorts need to go and it's probably the least of his issues. He can't cut a promo just like wheeler yuta and is his brother in terms of being a channel changer for me."
Loucatto wrote on 21.12.2025:
[5.0] "Decent in-ring wise, but a complete charisma vacuum. AEW has been trying everything with him, they gave him a funny dance to do, then gave him a program with MJF to get over as a babyface, then gave him a TNT title run, and then turned him heel. But the crowd simply does not care at all about him and, even as a champion, he came out to crickets. He doesn't have "it" and he isn't even good enough in the ring to get over just by his workrate."
kj wrote on 14.12.2025:
[10.0] "Daniel Garcia is one of the best wrestlers in the world under 30 years old. He is an incredible technical wrestler, who has proven multiple times that he is just as good as the biggest names in AEW. No matter what he is given, he always shows up and delivers. He hasn't been booked the best the past year or two, and I think the biggest problem is AEW's lack of consistency when it comes to booking. As an example, when he won the TNT Championship he was immediately put in the Continental Classic - which ended up hurting his reign as champion. He didn't get any PPV matches until he lost the belt, something that also took away from his reign. It is unfortunate that bad booking is what hurt his title reign, but it's important that AEW learns from it so it won't happen again. In 2026, I hope that he gets more opportunities in AEW and internationally in promotions such as NJPW, CMLL, and the indies. Daniel has everything a wrestler needs to be a huge star, and once AEW finally gives him the treatment he deserves, he is going to be one of the biggest names in the company."

[4.0] "Was a non entity before, now that he's in the Death Riders, another reason to hit fast forward. Just average in every conceivable way and has been for at least 3 years. Only noticeable thing was the triple Superplex, which is more a case of stamina than ability. That he uses a piledriver and Sharpshooter as finishers speaks volumes. Also drools a lot, more than Jay White but less than Hooch. As bland as can be and can't see that changing much."

Objectively a tremendous wrestler but he's lacking... something, he feels bland and his TNT title run wasn't moving me what with his bald head and mustard trunks, but now he's in the Death Riders he'll hopefully pick up steam as his match with Shibata was really good! He's got alot of potential I just hope he stops being so bland cause I want to like him."

No wonder he is responsible for "Restoring the Feeling", this man IS THE FEELING. Dude is an amazing storyteller and terrific in the ring, he proved himself time and time again and it's still so young. The sky is the limit for this man, who have all the capacity and ability to become one of the faces of AEW if given the chance."

He's miles ahead of someone like HOOK, who's shown minimal improvement over the past three years, but also miles behind Kyle Fletcher, who's lapped the rest of his similarly aged peers several times now. He's a very good wrestler, he emotes well, he's clearly putting in the effort to try and climb up the card...but there's a flatness there when it comes to connecting with the audience. His presentation doesn't help him either, I'd argue, as there's just no sizzle there."

Garcia has a lot of room for improvement if given some more training on his wrestling and working on an intriguing character. But right now, especially with how big AEW'S roster is, Garcia sticks out like a sore thumb as they're trying to push him when it's too early for him. He could improve, he's just not there yet"

I think if he wasn't pushed so hard, so quickly; fans would have taken a more natural liking to him. But he started appearing so much & even main evented a number of Dynamites when very few people wanted him there. At this point they've seemed to scale back on his monster push, which is good. But he still hasn't been able to really break out as far as finding some charisma. The most charismatic time for him was when he leaned into doing his funny dance. But that got to a point where it was making him silly - something I don't think he (or fans) wanted. So that was also scaled back. At this point, I rate him in the middle of the road."

Absolutely an extremely talented technician but doesn't feel anywhere near as put together in comparison to some of the other younger AEW guys like Fletcher, MJF, and even Yuta on some level. I think that once he does finally find that missing piece, he'll be fantastic, maybe even having a shot at living up to that position of successor to Bryan Danielson that TK seems to see him as fit for, but until then, just alright no matter how much I personally like him."

Daniel Garcia is great if you solely look at him as a wrestler, there is absolutely no denying that; however, he is missing something and I can't quite put my finger on it. It's not just that he doesn't have a character, there are a bunch of wrestlers without a character that I would rate higher than him. He seems like a nice guy, seems chill to hangout with, but he has no charisma beyond that. He is a subpar promo and almost never sounds like he wants to be there. Garcia was at his best when paired with Chris Jericho and it seems baffling to say about anyone in the year 2025 but he would absolutely benefit from being put with Jericho again as a heel or maybe even put in a partnership with a manager he could equally elevate such as Smart Mark Sterling; Sterling has the charisma and promo ability, Garcia has the platform for Sterling to be showcased more often, it would be mutually beneficial. Overall, Daniel Garcia is someone who *feels* like he should be my favourite wrestler and it's deeply unfortunate he isn't."

There is something about the way Danny carries himself both in and outside of the ring that lends way to a natural likability similar to his namesake in boxing. He sort of reminds me of Daniel Craig, aswell. I would like to see a bit more improvement on the mic, however. He's naturally over with the crowd thanks to his dance, and has potential to hold the TNT title for a long time."

He's smooth, coordinated, technically proficient, has quickness and genuine athleticism that makes his shit look good. While he may not have a distinct gimmick or incredible mic skills, his personality speaks for itself. He's emotional without being brooding, and balances both his machismo and his dramatic, effeminate moments. Knows when to work the crowd and when to get down to business. I don't need to be convinced that he's a tough guy, and I think those who read him that way may be misled. So happy he's free of the JAS. He deserves consistent airtime in AEW and enthused fans in/at other shows."
