Caring less for the work, and psychology, more on the looks and presentation, he represents what Vince's regime could've led, vs to what we have and what we have is so better, there wasno path this was worth losing what we have now. I love the look, but his moveless moveset, his lack of diversity, his tiresome curls and poses, boring character that was in the 80s without modern charm like the The Outrunners, , he was left in history as a part of history that's long gone."

[0.0] "If I was asked by any other wrestling fan whom I consider some of the most generic wrestlers in the world, Rick Boogs comes to my mind immediately. He was the most generic performer I have ever seen in all of professional wrestling, nothing stand out from him. First time I watched him on television I thought he was a new goofy hired performer, but no, he was with WWE since 2017... I never noticed the time he was called up to the main roster, and I never understand why, he was just an useless manager that made some music, and not a very good in-ring wrestler. He ended up on the big list of names of forgotten wrestlers in WWE, he was as generic as a WWE 2K game caw. Nice physique, but out of that, he was a complete waste of time and space in WWE and television, specially on the main shows."

His tag team with Nakamura gave him some direction and a chance to show his skills and cover up some weaknesses. Update: His run without Nakamura was unremarkable and him deciding to retire immediately after and say he failed because of political views disappointed me in him"

He is living it up out there and has actual passion for the buisness and is fine with taking a loss. A rare specimin in the world of self absorbed hicks we have in todays locker rooms."

He breathed life into Nakamura's entry and their tag team had tremendous potential. It is a pity that he was injured because perhaps he would be the team champion now. For now, I give a slightly understated rating because I think that Rick has not shown all his capabilities yet."

[3.0] "This guys booking is ridiculous! They slapped him with Nakamura to get Nakamura's entrance more over (including as part of his run as Intercontinental Champion) only to have them do random tag matches every week with Boogs squashing established talent in 2 minutes singlehandedly as the IC Champ lays 'hurt' on the outside WTF? He has a finisher and can 'play' his opponent like a guitar. That's his move-set. If he was beating guys with a ton of moves I would not rate him so harshly. Vince then decided he should look more like Freddy Mercury but to me he looks more like Franco Bash (for anyone that knows that character)."

[6.0] "Has definitely stepped up his pace in the last few months at house shows and EVOLVE events. Could be a solid mid to upper mid-carder with a little more polish and experience. Charisma is undeniable (good crowd connection for sure), in ring work is passable - extremely so by WWE standards. If he stays injury-free, and on the same path, I would expect good things from the Bugez in the future."

But he's doing this air guitar gimmick & I just know that can only carry someone so far. Sure it will work for a while in an intimate setting such as NXT, but if he ever wants to be taken seriously in any meaningful way, he needs to drop that asap."
