Larry came in with Brian Pillman after a failed Calgary Stampeders run, if I recall. (A team that also spurned The Rock and had him on the practice roster when he began wrestling) He was the champ when Stampede sadly shut its doors in 1989, a victim of a bad sale to the WWF/E and subsequent talent raid. He also had a heart attack and died in the ring in Germany, if I recall correctly. He was not an average talent as previously stated in the least. Otto Wanz at one point saw one match and took a look at the guy and signed him on the spot for one of his promotions. He was, however, in his late 30s by the time he started to gain some traction in Pro Wrestling. He had a stint in the AWA at one time as well. |

Wrestlerisch allerdings keine Offenbarung, zumindest bei dem was ich von ihm gesehen habe, was sich nur auf Stampede- und US-Auftritte beschränkt. Bei der CWA schien er ja doch recht gut angekommen zu sein. Ohne sein tragisches Ende hätte ich ihn mir auch durchaus noch bei einer größeren Promotion vorstellen können und sei es nur als besserer Mustapha Saed in der ECW gewesen. So gab's da aber einfach zu wenig, womit er mich hätte überzeugen können. |

In my opinion there was nothing special about him, he had a very good look and good charisma but in the ring he was kinda average. Overall Larry was an ok worker, nothing more than that. |
