[7.0] "Cameron was athletically gifted and above average on the microphone. He had good instincts for working a live crowd. With a late start to wrestling and an early death, Cameron is the story of "could have been". In a world where Steve Blackman is a name that casual WWF/E watchers knew, there's no reason Cameron couldn't have been as good if not a bit better (since he had charisma)."

[6.0] "I don;t know if this is a fair rating but his career was very short. He could powerslam a guy and that was mainly it. He was great as a heel and his mic skills were excellent. He was great in CWA. So sad he died in his prime."

[6.0] "Cameron was a talent and of that there is no doubt. Stampede Wrestling generated a ton of them. Larry came in with Brian Pillman after a failed Calgary Stampeders run, if I recall. (A team that also spurned The Rock and had him on the practice roster when he began wrestling) He was the champ when Stampede sadly shut its doors in 1989, a victim of a bad sale to the WWF/E and subsequent talent raid. He also had a heart attack and died in the ring in Germany, if I recall correctly. He was not an average talent as previously stated in the least. Otto Wanz at one point saw one match and took a look at the guy and signed him on the spot for one of his promotions. He was, however, in his late 30s by the time he started to gain some traction in Pro Wrestling. He had a stint in the AWA at one time as well."

[4.0] "I can't really seem to understand why Larry Cameron gets such a high score here in Cagematch, I guess it has something to do with being in a certain promotion back in the early 1990's. In my opinion there was nothing special about him, he had a very good look and good charisma but in the ring he was kinda average. Overall Larry was an ok worker, nothing more than that."
