[9.0] "One of the most innovative wrestlers of all time, so much so that I still believed he was a time traveler, with a solid promo and charisma. He was saddled with a go-nowhere gimmick in the WWF (Flash Funk). Scorpio should have been pushed hard wherever he worked."

[8.0] "7.5/10 for my liking. Accomplishments - 7, Charisma/Character Work 7, Cultural Significance - 7, In-Ring Skills - 8.5, Longevity - 10 & Move-Set - 9lands him exactly on an 8/10."

[6.0] "He was very athletic for his size. Especially at the time. His ECW run is probably his best work in North America. WCW in the early 90's was also decent. I mean, that's about it really. He couldn't cut a promo and didn't really have a discernable personality. He also owns one of the most unintentionally hilarious "big fish" stories I've ever heard. Go watch the Dark Side of the Ring episode on Collision in Korea and listen to Scorpio talk about all of his punches hitting Road Warrior Hawk in a shoot fight and the latter missing all of his and then Hawk meekly apologizing when no one else was conveniently around."

[7.0] "I think that Scorpio was a good worker in the ring. His runs outside of WWE were much better than his Flash Funk WWE run where he was a lower card worker. His career longevity has been insane as he is still going strong today."

[9.0] "For my money, one of the most underrated wrestlers ever. This guy was decades ahead of his time, and so innovative that some of his stuff is still mind-blowing 30+ years later. A heavyweight who could move like him was unheard of at the time, not to mention his incredible cool factor and great charisma in his prime. The lackluster WWF run really hurt his legacy, I think... It's a shame he isn't talked about as the legend and pioneer he truly is; in his day there was nobody in the world like 2 Cold Scorpio."

[6.0] "Another guy with amazing talent but never quite stayed in the same place for long. His time in the WWF sucked because they made him a friendly neighborhood pimp and they just didn't know what to do with guys like him. Definitely a WCW style wrestler. Born 20 years too soon, he would have been an internet darling in places like ROH and TNA."

[10.0] "Pretty much blew my mind apart when he first dropped in WCW. You had to keep your eyes glued because at any moment, you were going to see something new, for the very first time in professional wrestling. An innovator. I wish I could put you in my brain when we witnessed the man for the first time! Not since The Great Muta had someone created so much excitement, so instantly. The Flash Funk stuff was fairly regrettable because there was a lack of suitable competition, that and he was out of shape for too many of those matches! Rad stuff all over ECW. Seems to be one of THE coolest cats in the entire business. So much love for 2 Cold Scorpio. 9.75"

[9.0] "He is a 9 out of 10 for me, in my opinion he is one of the best high flyers of all time, I would like to see him in AEW."

[7.0] "I'm positive that if Too Cold was 15-20 years younger and was starting off in the late 90s-early 00s, he would be a massively respected star. Imagine seeing him at his apex in ROH or PWG!"

[7.0] "Crazy as Scorpio, got absolutely ruined by the WWF. The Flash Funk gimmick was horrible, but his in-ring ability didn't go down so at least he was still fun to watch, he just never got the big push he deserved. Still solid in the middle card."

[7.0] "Scorpio is probably the best representation of a mid card act I've ever seen: he's fantastically athletic, was doing flips way before they got cool and overused, and he was (and still is) in great shape, making him look legitimate in any match he's paired up in. He's just got little things like leaping up and over for a cross-up, or making his aerial attacks just look a little bit more hardhitting with the impact than what you usually see from guys these days. Scorpio is a good wrestler, but he isn't a good performer, if that makes any sense. He's got next to no charisma, no mic skills, no killer gimmick, nothing for people to come back to see more. He's good for a opening act or a fun showcase with guys in a tag match or whatever but he's always felt rather hollow. Fun for his stints in, well, basically every major and minor company from WCW to WWF to ECW to his establishing work in NOAH, and even today he's a dab hand on the indie circuit, well known for still being able to go just fine. Solid fixture but the ceiling is very low for a guy like himself, and his career shows that."

[8.0] "I was first introduced to Scorpio when he came in to WWE as Flash Funk. Though That gimmick didn't work, I could still tell there was something great to him. It was the first time I saw someone do a 450 & I found him excellent in the ring. Years later when I had a chance to go back & see him in ECW, he always had great matches & feuds. Many unique maneuvers."

[10.0] "Possibly the most underrated wrestler of all-time. TO THIS DAY he can deliver the best match on any given show. The sand in the hour glass is running out, but I'd really love to see this guy get AT LEAST ONE MATCH in a place like AEW."

[7.0] "Great high flyer and crusierweight. This guy was great in WCW when he was with Marcus Bagwell. The man's splash dives were excellent. This was before Jeff Hardy. ECW was his biggest peak. When he was in WWF he had that stupid Flash Funk gimmick in which he hated. He should have got a big push. His time In Pro Wrestling Noah was great as well."

[7.0] "Scorpio was the only great wrestler who couldn't wrestle: he could do everything in the ring, but I don't know why he never looked that good. He even had a decent look and charisma to be successful in the big leagues, but he has been not. I feel like he should have been a 9, but he was only a 6, 5/7. To me, he will always be a mystery."

[8.0] "I'm a big Scorpio fan. He was athletic and pretty charismatic to when allowed to show it. Got dealt bad hands in WWF which is a shame as they could have used a worker like him when he was around. Rewatching him recently I never really realized how large he actually was which is just impressing me even more."

[8.0] "2 Cold Scorpio was a great in-ring performer, was a staple of the mid card in ECW and it was well deserved. He did make it to the WWE as Flash Funk but nothing about that was memorable to me. I do remember the JOB Squad though haha, good times."

[6.0] "Practically perfected the art of unnecessarily flippy sh*t wrestling in the 90s, 2 Cold knew how to do things in that ring a lot of guys his size some others couldn't do. He wasn't ever a fast competitor but the dude could flip. I know it sounds like I'm slighting the guy, and if I'm being honest I kind of am. I could never get behind the guy because one, he never really seemed to know what he wants to do in the match and two, he taunted a lot. That's not to say I think the guy sucks but his lack of psychology always made it hard for me to appreciate his talents."

[9.0] "Scorpio was always full of personality and a fun presence on any show, and when he hit the scene in the early '90s, he had a truly innovative and influential ring style with lots of high-flying offense including a number of moves of his own creation. After a run with New Japan, he first gained notice in North America in WCW and moved on to a great run with ECW. His time with the WWF wasn't quite as fruitful; as Flash Funk and then part of the JOB Squad, he had a visible run and some good matches to his name, but the company never seemed as interested in pushing him as his previous employers had been. Went on to spend half a decade in Pro Wrestling NOAH in the mid 2000s. Can still be found plying his trade on the indy scene, and at age 51, he incredibly hasn't lost a step in the ring, still being fully capable of all the high-flying and flip moves he became famous for."

[10.0] "Severley underrated, Scorp is one of the best I have seen. Incredibly creative with his offense but not confined to just spots, he has excellent storytelling as well when he wants to. Never pushed to his potential for a wide variety of reasons, Scorpio continues to impress even to this day in random indy appearances."

[9.0] "I think my favorite Sabu match is the one against Mr. Scorpio. Scorpio did not get used well in WWF at all. It was very sad, but we know what the McMahons are capable of by now. JEEZUS!"

[10.0] "One of the best high flyers of all time. And he's STILL performing his amazing feats of agility at 50 years old! He could hang with the best, yesterday AND today."

[10.0] "I don't think people realize how few American high-flying wrestlers there were when Scorpio hit the scene. Guys like Brad Armstrong and Brian Pillman, where considered the high-flyers of the time, the real top notch guys were either Japanese or Mexican. Scorpio introduced numerous high-flying moves to the American mainstream, making him one of the most influential wrestlers from the last 25 years. He also was a very good technician and had some charisma as well."

[8.0] "Too Cold Scorpio left his mark on the wrestling world when he innovated the 450 Splash. He was not known for telling big epic stories in the ring, but what he was known for his excellent athleticism and charisma. At 6'1 and over 230lbs, he performed a lot of moves that you would expect from luchadores and junior heavyweights, and even in his 40s, he remains in shape and even appeared at times to be better than he was in his 30s. Overall an 8, because you shouldn't expect a Kobashi/Misawa battle out of him, but do expect to see some very, very impressive high flying moves."

[10.0] "2 Cold Scorpio has always been one of my favorite wrestlers to watch especially when I was a kid watching him as Flash Funk! Looking back at that time, he was one of the best examples of what an all-around because not only was he an amazing wrestler and performer, but he connected with the crowd so well because of how entertaining his character was. So all of those things combined were what made people easily gravitate to 2 Cold Scorpio and become fans of his. He was so unique in his own way with everything he did in-ring wise and character wise. Scorpio was not really too small of a guy and he was considered a heavyweight wrestler, but he could fly around like a light heavyweight and his technical wrestling skills were so great on top of that too! It amazed me when I watched him wrestle at Hardcore Justice 2010 and saw that at the age he is now, he can still do the same amazing captivating moves he did in his prime a long time ago. How this guy doesn't get more love with his ratings on this website is honestly beyond me! I do not understand it whatsoever."
