Unfortunately, a fairly limited moveset and poor promo abilities kept him stapled to a silly " lackey/sidekick" type role for better wrestlers, and I wish we lived in a reality where he was able to transcend that. Sad that he never did. He had muscles bulging out of his eyeballs."

Awful look, hideously stupid looking and painfully dated tribal tattoo nonsense: Lookin like a Spencer's store manager, the silly goatee is notable also. He fumbled some power moves and it made him look uncoordinated, though there are worse offenders. Really though, its all of those s#itty tattoos, Just awful."

Tomko was a guy, for whatever reason, was able to find more success outside of the WWE system than inside of it. He had some success as a tag team guy, working with Albert in Japan and working with AJ Styles in TNA but he was never able to break out of that mold and become a singles competitor for whatever reason."

Anything else is a hard pass. There is a role for people like Tomko so long as the promotion they are in is sensible enough to to limit their role to what they are good at but time after time they end up being pushed into a role that exposes their limitations."

[5.0] "Never thought much of Tomko. He was a big guy & had some crazy tattoos, but in the ring, he never did much. Barely spoke & just seemed to lack a lot. Most remembered as Christian's bodyguard & he was kind of dull in that role."

[6.0] "Was booked well when put in tag teams with better workers than himself (Styles and Christian in TNA, Bernard in Japan) who could do the selling and push the most weight. Tomko would come in and do a few power moves and good looking strikes but his moveset was never anything unique and his mic skills were nonexistent. Outside of those roles he was ok at best and poor at worst."

DanTalksRasslin wrote on 21.08.2019:
[6.0] "Tomko had the kind of size, look and presence to excel as an enforcer/bodyguard-type character, which he did effectively as a second to Christian (in both WWE and TNA) and AJ Styles (in TNA). In the ring, he may have been somewhat held back as a single by his somewhat lacking charisma, but found a decent amount of success as a tag wrestler, paying off with Tag Title reigns in TNA (with Styles) and NJPW (with Giant Bernard). Late in his TNA run he did show signs of possibly breaking out on his own, but ultimately personal issues, as well as unsuccessful returns to WWE and then again to TNA took their toll and he largely left wrestling by the mid-2010s."
