Rich Swann

[6.0] "Rich Swann is alright. He can go in-ring & he has a capability to tell a good story but his size/physique game is his weak point, so much so that he's difficult to take seriously, at times. I preferred KC Navarro over him in First Class. His character work is quite fun. I'll never skip a match he's in, but I'll never go out of my way to watch a Rich Swann match if you put a beer or 7 in me."

[8.0] "Absolutely my favorite cruiserweight from the revived division. Super entertaining move set and also charismatic as hell. Swann's scissor kick is one of the best in the game and he can work fast with ease. Fantastic presentation and the in-ring work matches that, for sure. Also, one of the most genuinely nice stars I've ever had the honor and pleasure to meet. Rich Swann is truly incredible and one of my picks for the most underrated list."

[6.0] "This guy just doesn't have it. I have been exposed to him mainly through TNA where despite a run during the early pandemic as Champion he never really felt like a main venter. His match with Kenny Omega during the original Forbidden Door experiment exposed him. His slot in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic didn't impress me that much either. However, a solid hand that has the fundamentals down and is a good addition to the mid card."

[6.0] "Rich Swann has been a good in ring wrestler for a long time. Sometimes his character work is goofier than it should be. His WWE run was alright and how it ended is probably the biggest knock against him in my book. His runs in TNA and Revolver have been much better."

[7.0] "Rich Swann is a fun wrestler with a whole lot of charisma, but it doesn't always translate well. He definitely shouldn't be in the world title position, but he's still a good guy to have as a midcarder. His WWE stuff wasn't great, but he seems to have found something in Impact, a groove that works for him."

[6.0] "An above-average wrestler who sadly has too great of a tendency to emote in wildly stupid and melodramatic ways, plus he is way too obsessed with highlighting his "goofy" side to an extreme, to the point that it's pretty cringeworthy and thus really off-putting. His character work aside, he's a pretty good wrestler. He's mostly a high-flyer with a lot of sharp strikes thrown in, though he was definitely always overshadowed by his various contemporaries throughout his career. His aerial attacks were never especially spectacular but they were still pretty good, since he had good energy and mostly really smooth and precise technique. If his character work was more palatable then I'd have liked him a lot more, but he's definitely pretty good when playing a minor/supporting role in a match."

[6.0] "Solid superstar. Certainly a solid high-flying star and a great athlete who has lots of charisma, though it doesn't translate to promos where he can struggle. He can have a great match with the right superstar like Kenny Omega, but usually it's more average or sometimes above average. In an era of great wrestlers though and strong high-flyers, Swann can struggle to stand out on his own. It was great that Impact gave him a run at the top but I think it proved he's not really a main event star. I struggle remembering many things about him with biggest stand out being his match with Omega that was more due to Omega than Swann. Still a fine performer."

[3.0] "His legslapping BS completely sucks. He slapping his legs is like a most annoying thing ever. When he slaps it doesn't sounds like a hit, it's sounds like a damn slap. He is spamming and spamming and spamming with that and that's sucks. Also he have weak physic and zero personality. WWE Cruiserweight title is his complete maximum. I'm surprised why they gaved him Impact World championship. So overrated."

[10.0] "Extremely talented wrestler who definitely has potential to go on to do bigger things given his success as a world champion as the face of a company."

[7.0] "He is a really good high flyer. Decent with everything else. Definitely a good midcarder. He can work in any position and do damn well with it."

[7.0] "Rich Swann is a good wrestler and high flyer but not a main eventer for me. More of a midcarder or junior. He's charismatic too."

[8.0] "Seriously' These ratings are way too low. You cannot deny Rich Swann is one of the best high-flyers in wrestling today. He's incredibly smooth and for anyone saying he has no character you're trippin, he's incredibly charismatic and those dance moves ain't bad either. But in all seriousness, he's a great wrestler and if you watch enough of his matches, you'll come around to him, I wasn't a fan of his at first either."

[7.0] "Back a few months ago, I'd probably say that while no one can deny Rich's capability in the ring, there's something about him that makes him blend into the crowd. Well, I'm happy to report that this issue is really starting to fade away. Rich has greatly improved in my eyes, and I think there's nowhere to go but up."

[0.0] "Rich Swann is incompetent. Not only did he abuse his wife Su Yung by dragging her out of a car forcibly, but he literally cannot do anything in the ring. As a worker, he is awful, he can't hit anything convincingly, he sells everything awfully, he has no cardio, no main event presence, his moves all look like they're hit underwater, he's got no natural instincts for what spots should come after each other, he's just a overrated stain that has been elevated to a main event talent with no justification."

[6.0] "He's physically very talented but I've never really seen Swann as anything more than a spot worker: he's kinda lifeless in terms of having a character, having promo skills, anything outside of a ring. Not got a lot of psychology for my liking as well. Sure he's the champ in TNA, but this isn't 2005 where that would be considered a actual feat. In terms of his high flying he's not the best (Fenix, PAC) nor the most innovative (Ospreay) he's just sorta there. He's certainly not bad and I'll give him credit for being better than expected with main event responsibilities but that's really it."

[10.0] "Swann is a very talented and gifted wrestler that isn't given enough credit. His hybrid style of strikes and high flying along with his different type of charisma really breaks the mold when it comes to World Champions. be it PGW, WWE, MLW or Impact, Swann has put on top notch matches if not the best matches of the night. Here's to hoping he gets more attention in the future."

[6.0] "For me, he is a perfectly average highflyer. Not as great as Ricochet or Fenix, as seems a bit too much of a goofy athlete. He has skills and capacities, but he has not impressed me."

[7.0] "A great athlete, but he never caught on too much in WWE due to him being saddled with a dumb dancing gimmick. Despite that, he still was able to catch enough fire to be Cruiserweight champion for a short run. He's been much better utilized in Impact, although I still think more could be done to get his personality over."

[10.0] "My favorite currently in the cruiserweight Division. He is Charismatic and an incredible High Flyer. I hope you have a good run with the title"

[8.0] "A guy I never thought I'd see in the WWE, but that's just a testament to how good Rich Swann is. By now, everyone knows his backstory and it's an inspiring one. Mic wise, he's not a terrific promo, but he's got a real natural babyface charisma to him. In the ring, he's a great talent and again, he can showcase that babyface charisma with ease. Could be an absolute star in the cruiserweight division."

[9.0] "Charismatic and talented, but woefully small. He'd be best served if WWE went forward with their planned cruiserweight division or if he was put into a tag team. Extremely impressed with him thus far in terms of how well he's connected with people. He has a ton of potential and is my favorite CWC competitor."

Plus he has some counters to moves as well that you've never seen before and on top of him being such an amazingly talented in-ring performer, he oozes charisma beyond belief and charisma is carved all over this guy! It's incredible! Rich Swann is definitely one of a kind, that's for damn sure!"

Great at all styles but mostly at high flying with unlimited amounts of charisma that can't be matched by ANYONE on the indies. Not one person on the indies."
