[9.0] "Its a shame that Big K is a what if story now, because he wouldve been one of new japans top stars at the moment if he continued wrestling. A huge man with a figure you couldnt miss, the potential was there and he couldve been one of New Japans best at this moment in time. RIP Katsuya Kitamura"

He will always be a "What If? " question. Now, he has left this world far too soon. RIP, Katsuya Kitamura."

[3.0] "Am I the only one who remembers this guy? Also am I the only one who remembers how insanely over he was? And am I the only one still baffled at that popularity? Make no bone about it: Kitamura was a veritable physical monster. But besides that there wasn't a whole lot to him, even considering how little experience he had. Perhaps with more experience he could have become better but I've got my doubts: the guy was over because of his physique, not because of his natural charisma (like Shota Umino is right now) or because of his natural in-ring skills (like Ren Narita is right now). Calling him a one trick pony is unfair, but that's what keeps popping into my mind. I've read that he left NJPW earlier this year due to the consequences of a serious injury, and that confirms how "jinxed" his class of Young Lions has so far been."
