[4.0] "He has a few FANTASTIC-looking moves. I think he does the End of Days and Deep Six so well. But that's about where it ends for me. WWE pushed him so hard in the late 2010s and early 2020s and I just could not get into literally anything he was doing. Very dull overall."

[7.0] "Has gotten better on promos and in ring work has improved as well. Bishop Dyer has been a great worker in MLW right now. And even his work in WWE as Baron Corbin was decent. He served his purpose as Baron Corbin/King Corbin/Happy Corbin getting over as a heel and a face."

[2.0] "Look I have never been a fan of Baron Corbin neither his style, promos, character nothing ever managed to intrigue me in any way. His sad Corbin gimmick was decent but thats about it, further more he very much was imo just so terribly boring and generic it was insane. Basically what Karrion Kross is now, but he got pushed so much it was actually painful. He won the MITB, massive matches with the top wrestlers, had a horrible fued with Roman like I just couldn't ever understand why. Yeah he is a a safe wrestler but that doesn't mean we wanna see him wrestle. But then WWE sends him down to NXT, where he finally picks up momentum from some fans and as he is in his prime with WWE they release him. Lmao anyways 2/10"

[8.0] "Got to give the king some credit, not everything he did was awful and ultimately he served a purpose as the heel raw needed. That being said, he had a lot of low and dull moments which is why this isn't a higher rating. Still, I think he got a bad rap for how good he was"

[5.0] ""Who the fuck is Bishop Dyer? " I asked, scanning the wrestlers page. Then I had to laugh. I hold no ill will to Corbin, but wasn't he just the face of the 2019 doldrums? I got out of wrestling that year for a reason."

[3.0] "I'm giving a 3 mainly because there are a few positive things to note, like his finisher 'End of Days' which is really cool, but honestly, that's about all he has going for him. Baron Corbin was pushed way too hard as a main eventer when he never really had what it takes to carry a show. His gimmicks were awful, especially 'Happy Corbin' which killed his credibility. Also, his in-ring work is often dull with little storytelling or emotion. His mic skills aren't great either, though he sometimes gets by. This guy should never have been given such a big spot. And honestly, it's no surprise he's a flop on the indie scene given his clear limitations. Luckily, he's no longer in WWE, which spares us from wasting more time and interest on the show."

[0.0] "This guy was pushed to be a main eventer feuding with seth winng money In the bank but guess what? he always sucked put up crappy matches always had horrible gimmicks and just simply shouldn't be pushed and this is the guy who retired KURT ANGLE FOR GOD SAKES just awful move by wwe to push this guy and lucky for us he was finally released he was okay I suppose on the mic but that can't make up for his downright bad to horrible matches I have no clue what Vince saw and baron corbin thank the lord he's no longer in wwe"

[7.0] "I've heard he is one of the safest wrestlers of all time, as someone who does wrestling I feel like this is a huge thing, I personally would want to wrestle Bishop due to the things people say about him. He also has that legendary finisher "End of Days" which is arguably one of the best finishers of all time, excited to see what he will do on the indies as he hasn't been used to his full potential thus far."

[1.0] "Baron Corbin is the definition of everything wrong with a WWE produced wrestler. He is just absolutely nothing, he's a boring, generic bald guy. I can't believe how long this guy was on television for providing absolutely nothing to the show. Granted, a lot of it probably has to do with his booking rather than with himself, but I can only rate what I see, and what I've seen from this guy is just the definition of nothing. I don't think he's a guy that I've ever hated either, I just can't figure out why this guy was on my TV for so long just providing absolutely nothing. 1 point for being a safe worker however."

[8.0] "Corbin is very good at what he does. When it comes to in ring action, he's not the best wrestler in the world, far from it, but he manages to make his opponents shine. Not to mention the heel role he plays, he is one of the best today. In 2024, he shined in NXT showing what he is capable of."

[5.0] "One of the best movesets in recent time, that is all. He isn't good enough to take full advantage of said arsenal, his character work is terrible, no presence. Shame such a good entrance theme was wasted."

[7.0] "A hell of a theme song, a specific and gorgeous moveset. Wouldnt say he was the best obviously but he really is a solid worker, he also was at a time one of the important member of Smackdown. Still seems underrated to me."

[8.0] "Baron Corbin is incredibly underrated. He's very safe to work with, and has been part of many memorable spots (hitting an End of Days on Becky, being a bum, etc.). Bad booking has hampered his perception in the past, but Baron Corbin is honestly a really good wrestler who could do a lot more than he's achieved thus far, tbh."

[5.0] "I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Baron considering he's from my area and he seems like such a great guy, but I'd be lying if I said he was worthy of anything above a 5 in all honesty, he has a gorgeous finisher and is an alright worker but outside of that, there really isn't much else to write home about, and his run in 2019 was horrific (although you could argue the booking was more at fault there), so it pains me a bit because I like the guy, but this is a pretty easy 5/10."

[7.0] "As well as The Miz, Baron Corbin is a dedicated and perfectly safe superstar to work with. One of the brightest examples that not all superstars need championship belts around their waist to attractive and distinguishing. I feel like Baron could show something else, reveal himself from a new side"

[3.0] "I never saw anything special about Corbin other than his finisher, which is one of the coolest in wrestling. His ring skill is below average and he has never been able to fit a character that exudes any kind of charisma. His Lone Wolf gimmick was average, then everything he did afterwards seems like it was all pretty bad."

[7.0] "Corbin is a weird case. I didn't think much of him until his recent run in NXT. His team with Bron was very good and he's becoming kind of underrated?"

[7.0] "Baron Corbin has always been an underrated WWE workhorse; he is a very safe worker by the many times he has saved people from bad injuries, e.g., his save against Dolph Ziggler. His Lone Wolf gimmick will always be the best he has ever had, but from his current work when he was a heel, he really does know how to get himself hated by the audience and does it to perfection."

[6.0] "after his terrible era in 2019, corbin has improved a lot in the ring which even at his age is very shocking. can see him as a tag team guy but overall solid worker"

[5.0] "I liked his work during the lone wolf days but later, he was a 0 point wrestler. He had go-away heat. Though the last time I saw him, he wasn't unbearable. So 5 points."

[7.0] "For the first few years of his career, Corbin was really green, but as time went on he evidently got better and was a solid powerhouse, a few failed gimmicks later he got sent down to NXT where he really got to showcase how good he is, he was in the main event and had a really good team with Breakker, even winning tag gold. He went back up to the main roster and is in the lower mid card now, putting people over."

[7.0] "Great wrestler, great on the mic, great characters, fans love him atm. Deserves a title reign or iconic feud before he retires. Has been the product of terrible Vince booking decisions for a number of years. Probably should have won the NXT title before he left Nxt and stayed for a few more months but he is a great wrestler and deserves something great in the next few years."

[6.0] "The embodiment of a wrestler that is fundamentally just fine - not specifically exciting in any way, but not terrible. He has a good moveset - the Deep Six is an underrated signature and could be a realistic finisher if built enough. He's also really safe to work with. I just can't get specifically excited for a Corbin match - he's a good hand with a good moveset, but that's about it. EDIT: he has improved and had a very good run in NXT."

[6.0] "Corbin's A weird one, if this was based off his current self I'd give him A 7. Any other era of Corbin is at best A 6, and at worst.. like A 4. You could argue he at his prime heel days was A great heel, this is false. The heat he had has been said A lot but it was go away heat, because 2018 Corbin was awful. So back to the beginning, he did nothing in NXT for A bit before beginning A win streak, to his credit this was cool. Well it was cool for A little bit before he started to suck, giving Samoa Joe A bad match. The run eventually ended and his main roster run began strong, he won the Andre the giant memorial battle royal near the end of mania 32 in his debut. He had mid matches constantly, then the brand split started.. this is his original peak. Because he had consistently decent, sometimes good matches, which for Corbin that's great. He eliminated Braun in the RR match, had A good feud with Dean, it was going well. Eventually he won the US title which didn't last long, but it happened. And then.. well. He went bald, and became one of the worst heels this company ever saw.. constable Corbin. He constantly won, and began the mid-card vortex of doom with Lashley and Drew which sucked. This was so bad the McMahons blamed the companies failures on him, and removed him as the on-screen GM. Then it gets worse... he retired KURT ANGLE! He feuded with Seth for A bit, that sucked. He entered KOTR, then became King Corbin which also sucked. He had bad feuds with Gable, Roman, Elias, it all sucked. He got opportunities that others deserved.. it was bad. Then he entered A endless feud with Nakamura, and became poor Corbin. Which this didn't last long but it was gold. Then he became Happy Corbin which.. well it sucked. He had Madcap Moss by his side, and KO is one of my favorites so I especially hated this.. but he had A really really bad feud with KO for A bit. Then he entered A bad feud with Drew, which saw the end of days being kicked out of for the first time. Moss turned face, won the feud. He went away again and JBL was in his corner this time, he got wins over much better wrestlers like Cedric and for some reason Gargano. Then he jobbed more, and went to NXT. His NXT run started off very strongly, he had A great match with Melo for the NXT title. He feuded with Bron Breakker which was great, not so great was his match with Gable Steveson. Finally he teamed with Bron and we got so far his career peak, the wolf dogs. They had great matches, especially with Frazer and Axiom. Then both got called up and this is where we leave off.. they went on separate brands, and as I speak Baron finally made it on TV in A weird feud with Legado. This is unfinished, obviously. But we finally seem to be going somewhere with Corbin. People say he's underrated, he's not. If not for his current work he'd be A 5, which is fine but besides that lone wolf run from 2016-2017, and the poor Corbin run, its all been bad. One thing I didn't mention as I forgot it was his MITB win.. yeah less said about that the better. Overall at one point he was A solid hand, he's finally become A good wrestler which is nice, so A 6 is good for Corbin."

[1.0] "For a brief time in NXT he was a good heel. That's where the good stuff ends. His NXT gear was the best but he had awful, stringy hair on top of his bald head. Then he shaved it which looked fine but he changed his gear to look like he was the host at Applebee's. Then he was Sad Corbin, Happy Corbin, Demure Corbin and who knows what else but none of it worked and no one bought subscriptions and tickets to see him. He also has the dubious distinction of being Kurt Angle's last and worst opponent in a forgettable nothing match. Now that he's back in NXT he's doing some decent stuff but teaming with Ridge Holland ain't it."

[5.0] "Just not for me, I have never really enjoyed any of the Corbin matches that I have watched and don't really enjoy his character work. His brief feud with McAfee was decent but ultimately I'm not a massive fan"

"One of the most underrated wrestlers out there, he does what he needs to for the business. His recent work in NXT has been some of his best, and I am a big fan of his recent gimmick. When it comes to actual wrestling I can't say he's the best out there, but he can put on a match, I hope with his recent move back to the main roster will go just as successful as his NXT run."

[6.0] "Corbin was overrated at the main roster in his first run and I am a little glad that he didn't win a World Championship at the main roster. That being said, his work in the developmental brand NXT was a hige improvement and he was part of a badass team with Breakker. Hopefully, his work only improves and he is able to keep up the good work when he comes back to the main roster."

[7.0] "Corbin gets way too much hate. He is far from as bad that people try to make him seem like. Decent mic skills and decent in ring. He also has an amazing finisher. Only things i currently dont like is his character. UPDATE: Originally had him at 5 in 2019. 5 years later i feel confident in saying that he has improved greatly. He feels more fluid in the ring, and his character work has been good since he dropped the king moniker."

[7.0] "Honestly the perfect midcarder, throw him in the ring with anyone and youll get an alright match, seems to be taking will to filling the role Dolph Ziggler had for years."

[9.0] ""He ain't claiming the title of world's finest, but he's far from the bottom of the barrel. Seriously slept on, his NXT stint right now is pure gold. Watching him and Bron Breaker tear it up in those weekly tag matches? Absolutely killer stuff, man! ""

[6.0] "corban is corban. He's not the best in the world but he is not the worst either. he's nothing more than a satisfactory wrestler if built right he could fit in anywhere but ultimately he is never built right. his finisher is good and was known for having one of the most protected finishers there is but that doesn't change the fact that he's a mid-wrestler with mid-promos that's mid in the ring. if elevated with more training and given more of a chance he might have been able to shine but that's not going to happen anytime soon."

[9.0] "I always liked Corbin, from his nxt days where he was initially portrayed as an intimidating silent killer who would squash his opponents. Since moving up to the main roster, many have considered him bland on the mic and limited in the ring. Even though he doesnt stand out, he still is a reliable worker who can have a good match if his opponent carries him. In 2021 everything changed for Corbin. Well not in the ring. But character wise he has been doing the best work of his career. Here s to hoping that he will be able to keep building momentum. (2024): His run in NXT has been phenomenal. He has shown that not only is he a safe, consistent and reliable worker, that can connect with the crowd thrpugh his character work when given the opportunity, but also that he can pull off some top tier matches when paired with the right opponents or tag team partners (and he stands his own in those matches, he is not being carried anymore as I had remarked some years ago) . Moving him from an eight to a nine."

[7.0] "Severely underrated, his current NXT run has been fantastic to watch with him and Bron having great weekly tv tag matches."

[6.0] "Got to give Baron Corbin credit, he has gotten MUCH better in terms of just about everything, and a lot of wrestling fans will never give him credit for it. Baron's run in WWE has been nothing short of tragic, particularly because of booking. Seriously, they had him go over Kurt Angle in Kurt's farewell match 5 years ago and that was supposed to be the start of something great. Unfortunately, WWE fumbled it and besides a run as the 'King of the Ring' in the same year as his match with Kurt Angle, Baron's career went downhill real quick, although he seemingly lost a lot of the 'Go-Away' heat he had and became way more natural with heat as a heel. His character work (even when he was the infamous General Manager of RAW in 2018) is actually not bad, his 'I have no job and therefore, I'm a poor person' gimmick was really fun to watch and he was really cool as 'Happy Corbin'. I believe the best attribute(s) of Baron is without a doubt his in-ring style of wrestling, his 'Deep Six' and 'End of Days' finishers are awesome and actually brutally realistic when he maneuvers them. Also, I heard he's very over in the country of France, which is cool and good for him I guess?"

[3.0] "I find Baron Corbin a very dull wrestler and I rarely even remember what has happened in matches featuring him even after they have ended. I did enjoy that match he had with Pat McAfee though, that was good fun but that mainly comes down to the daftness of his opponent!"

[7.0] "I think Corbin's ability to come off as so hate-able does a disservice to how good his heal work is. I don't see Corbin having a real top tier title run, but as a Mid to upper card heel, he's the glue that can hold some many storylines together. His runs as King Corbin, Constable Corbin, and Happy Corbin have shown his character range, and his in ring work ranges from good to excellent. Heck, his Deep Six and End of Days alone rate a higher rating than he's got."

[7.0] "This overall rating is far too low for Corbin. He is very good at character work, can make any gimmick given to him work as proven with the multiple very bad gimmicks he's had, yet he's made them work to the best he can and they're memorable because of that. Not just that but in-ring he can genuinely go, he's not bad at all. Had a pretty good moveset and knows how to sell. Definitely not as bad as made out here."

[3.0] "The only thing this guy is really good for is laughing at. And his extremely retarded gimmicks. Like happy corbin and King Corbin are hilarious but like bro cmon why does he ever win matches. Also King Corbin, while funny on the surface, was extremely fucking stupid like bro really think hes anywhere near the level of King Booker. Like its not even close bros a mickey mouse KOTR winner. Like thanks for giving one of the most insufferable people on the roster a KOTR W so now he has something to brag about and oh boy he did. Oh also thank god he got MITB and did nothing with it."

[7.0] "He's better than his rating would suggest on cagematch. I know a former wrestler friend that is a big fan of his because he really knows how to get huge heat. He has had some really bad booking that's turned a lot of people against him but his 2023 NXT run has shown that the guy can work if given the opportunity. I also was a big fan of his broke gimmick he had, It could have lead to a decent baby face run though I suppose that might be a waste of him being a heat magnet."

[5.0] "Bro has one really good finisher and thinks that can carry him. He's ok at best in ring, even worse on the mic, and the only crowd reactions he gets are boos because we're all so sick of how pushed he was, not because he's a good heel. End of Days is sick but that's it."

[7.0] "WWE has been throwing shit on the wall when it comes to Baron Corbin for years now and none of it seems to stick. He's a reliable midcard heel that can help get top babyfaces more over if they weren't anymore over already but other than that, there is NOTHING going for him anymore. Edit: (Boosted 3 points) It seems as though returning to NXT has given him a breath of fresh air and he's doing much better in his current role with a gimmick he seems to enjoy as well as being made a credible threat to the NXT lockeroom."

[7.0] "Despite his horrible booking and treatment over the past few years, it seems fans are aching for a reason to cheer for Corbin. He's been through so many bad gimmicks and stories that 2005 Kane might feel he has some competition. Currently, his repackaging seems to be working and he's going back to his original character, which was ultimately his strongest. Here's hoping he gets a push and is shown the respect I feel he's earned."

[10.0] "Corbin's the most underappreciated talent in the entire WWE: his booking has just been tragic over the years. He's a man that can do it all in the industry, and I truly hope he'll get his dues in the upcoming years. 11 years of service, only one 70 day US title run, zero other titles...it's a joke. I'll always root for him. Here's why Corbin is massively underrated: - Corbin's a true company man in every way. Why? 1) Because he's been jobbing to talent for years now without complaining. 2) Because Corbin's been handed a large amount of different gimmicks, and still been very dedicated to them all. His work as "Sad Corbin" was remarkable, it was Corbin turning a shit gimmick into pure gold all by himself. He was getting really over with the crowd by the end of said gimmick's run, all because of his own talent. That run should have continued longer. - Corbin had one of the genuinely greatest theme songs of all time, being "I Bring the Darkness" aka Jim Johnston's last ever work for WWE. Besides that iconic legendary theme, Corbin's overall theme song catalogue is very strong thanks to bangers like "Burn the Ships" and "Superhuman". - Corbin has one of the most beautiful devastating finishers in WWE history, being End of Days. It's a special finisher that's been rightfully very protected, as it's never been kicked out of minus the horrible decision to have Drew do it once. -Corbin's overall strong and solid in the ring. He pulls off one hell of a Deep Six when allowed to(the same goes for his overall in-ring performance) like he showed in his most recent title match where he put on a strong match. - Corbin's very good and versatile on the mic: he's delievered all kinds of promos over the years. Overall though, he is and has been an amazing consistent heel who's promo work has gathered constant heat from the crowd. - He retired Kurt Angle at the biggest stage, Wrestlemania. That in itself will always be special. Lastly, Corbin will be NXT Champion soon if HBK is reasonable. That's all."

[7.0] "Corbin is already a veteran, and regardless of who dislikes it, he has established himself as a person within the industry, though not as a character. The guy has tried everything to establish himself, but he can't due to his booking or lack of a spark. The issue, in my opinion, isn't Corbin himself; he has it, but unfortunately, neither the audience nor the creatives see that "thing". A shame"

[9.0] "Always dedicated to his character and manages to play it really well the entire time even if it falls flat, has an amazing move set with the Deep Six and the End of Days, but has continued to be wasted of his talent and ruined and just used as an enhancement talent, but recently has got a reboot in NXT but is also used for debuting superstars because he is one of the safest workers in the company. While also he is not being scared to get heat and plays such a good heel to the point he is able to make the crowd hate him no matter his character."

[7.0] "First of all, I'd like to point out how dedicated Corbin is to whatever character he portrays. His work as Bum-Ass Corbin was unmatched and he deserves every bit of the praise he gets for it. Because he is bringing back the Lone Wolf gimmick in NXT, he should surely receive a push there because he is a fairly good in-ring worker. He has a decent amount of charisma as well. The Deep Six and End of Days are awesome moves too."

[8.0] "Very underrated. He is OK in the ring, if given the good opponent. He has charisma, can't talk with a microphone and, most of all, can't interpretate every character they gave him (the lonewolf, happy corbin, the broke corbin, gm corbin)."

[7.0] "Corbin is a safe good in ring worker which is the most important thing in the business. In the ring he is not the most exciting, but he is good. On the mic he can get a crowd to hate him easily. Had some gimmicks that hurt him and lacks an it factor."

[6.0] "Corbin is a solid wrestler who often gets saddled with terrible gimmicks. I could imagine giving him a higher rating if the booking that surrounded him wasn't always so lousy. As it is, despite liking him enough as a wrestler, I find him very challenging to enjoy because of the awful material he is consistently given to work with."
