I wasn't an active watcher during the times he was overpushed, & it's perhaps unfortunate that he was considering that he won't move mountains any time soon, but for what he does I quite enjoy him. He's not a complete charisma void like some seem to claim"

[2.0] "Look I have never been a fan of Baron Corbin neither his style, promos, character nothing ever managed to intrigue me in any way. His sad Corbin gimmick was decent but thats about it, further more he very much was imo just so terribly boring and generic it was insane. Basically what Karrion Kross is now, but he got pushed so much it was actually painful. He won the MITB, massive matches with the top wrestlers, had a horrible fued with Roman like I just couldn't ever understand why. Yeah he is a a safe wrestler but that doesn't mean we wanna see him wrestle. But then WWE sends him down to NXT, where he finally picks up momentum from some fans and as he is in his prime with WWE they release him. Lmao anyways 2/10"

[8.0] "Got to give the king some credit, not everything he did was awful and ultimately he served a purpose as the heel raw needed. That being said, he had a lot of low and dull moments which is why this isn't a higher rating. Still, I think he got a bad rap for how good he was"

[5.0] ""Who the fuck is Bishop Dyer? " I asked, scanning the wrestlers page. Then I had to laugh. I hold no ill will to Corbin, but wasn't he just the face of the 2019 doldrums? I got out of wrestling that year for a reason."

[3.0] "I'm giving a 3 mainly because there are a few positive things to note, like his finisher 'End of Days' which is really cool, but honestly, that's about all he has going for him. Baron Corbin was pushed way too hard as a main eventer when he never really had what it takes to carry a show. His gimmicks were awful, especially 'Happy Corbin' which killed his credibility. Also, his in-ring work is often dull with little storytelling or emotion. His mic skills aren't great either, though he sometimes gets by. This guy should never have been given such a big spot. And honestly, it's no surprise he's a flop on the indie scene given his clear limitations. Luckily, he's no longer in WWE, which spares us from wasting more time and interest on the show."

[0.0] "This guy was pushed to be a main eventer feuding with seth winng money In the bank but guess what? he always sucked put up crappy matches always had horrible gimmicks and just simply shouldn't be pushed and this is the guy who retired KURT ANGLE FOR GOD SAKES just awful move by wwe to push this guy and lucky for us he was finally released he was okay I suppose on the mic but that can't make up for his downright bad to horrible matches I have no clue what Vince saw and baron corbin thank the lord he's no longer in wwe"

[6.0] "If this was from 2018-2022, I would've given him a 2 or 1, but during his last few months in WWE, he fixed himself up and made himself legit. I'm still shocked they released him, I'd thought he'd be a lifer in WWE. His 2nd in NXT was great with great matches and a tag team with Born was surprisingly good. His 2017-2022 run was the worst thing ever, he was so unbearable to watch, and now years later, I realize that was the point."

[7.0] "I've heard he is one of the safest wrestlers of all time, as someone who does wrestling I feel like this is a huge thing, I personally would want to wrestle Bishop due to the things people say about him. He also has that legendary finisher "End of Days" which is arguably one of the best finishers of all time, excited to see what he will do on the indies as he hasn't been used to his full potential thus far."

[1.0] "Baron Corbin is the definition of everything wrong with a WWE produced wrestler. He is just absolutely nothing, he's a boring, generic bald guy. I can't believe how long this guy was on television for providing absolutely nothing to the show. Granted, a lot of it probably has to do with his booking rather than with himself, but I can only rate what I see, and what I've seen from this guy is just the definition of nothing. I don't think he's a guy that I've ever hated either, I just can't figure out why this guy was on my TV for so long just providing absolutely nothing. 1 point for being a safe worker however."

[4.0] "Man oh man did WWE absolutely tarnish this mans career and reputation, I really liked his lone wolf gimmick and I was able to get around it but in my opinion dropping that gimmick and cutting his hair bald was the worst thing ever, never ever got over or really liked what they did to him after not as King Corbin, not as the GM of raw, not as the dude who poured dog food on Roman reigns, not the guy who gambled all his money and became happy and sad Corbin, not the guy who won the NXT titles with Bron breaker and not the guy they turned face and made him team with Apollo crews, they really dropped the ball on him and ESPECIALLY that happy Corbin gimmick, it was so horrible, I cant ever get around a guy who wears what quagmire would inside a ring, I really hope the indies treat him well because Vince sure didn't."

[8.0] "Corbin is very good at what he does. When it comes to in ring action, he's not the best wrestler in the world, far from it, but he manages to make his opponents shine. Not to mention the heel role he plays, he is one of the best today. In 2024, he shined in NXT showing what he is capable of."

[5.0] "One of the best movesets in recent time, that is all. He isn't good enough to take full advantage of said arsenal, his character work is terrible, no presence. Shame such a good entrance theme was wasted."

[7.0] "A hell of a theme song, a specific and gorgeous moveset. Wouldnt say he was the best obviously but he really is a solid worker, he also was at a time one of the important member of Smackdown. Still seems underrated to me."

[8.0] "Baron Corbin is incredibly underrated. He's very safe to work with, and has been part of many memorable spots (hitting an End of Days on Becky, being a bum, etc.). Bad booking has hampered his perception in the past, but Baron Corbin is honestly a really good wrestler who could do a lot more than he's achieved thus far, tbh."

[5.0] "I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Baron considering he's from my area and he seems like such a great guy, but I'd be lying if I said he was worthy of anything above a 5 in all honesty, he has a gorgeous finisher and is an alright worker but outside of that, there really isn't much else to write home about, and his run in 2019 was horrific (although you could argue the booking was more at fault there), so it pains me a bit because I like the guy, but this is a pretty easy 5/10."

[7.0] "As well as The Miz, Baron Corbin is a dedicated and perfectly safe superstar to work with. One of the brightest examples that not all superstars need championship belts around their waist to attractive and distinguishing. I feel like Baron could show something else, reveal himself from a new side"

[3.0] "I never saw anything special about Corbin other than his finisher, which is one of the coolest in wrestling. His ring skill is below average and he has never been able to fit a character that exudes any kind of charisma. His Lone Wolf gimmick was average, then everything he did afterwards seems like it was all pretty bad."

[7.0] "Corbin is a weird case. I didn't think much of him until his recent run in NXT. His team with Bron was very good and he's becoming kind of underrated?"

[5.0] "Im Grunde The Miz in groß und hässlich. Respekt dafür, dass er seine Gimmicks recht gut spielen konnte, aber er war zu oft einfach nervig und dass das als Heel beabsichtigt war, juckt mich einfach nicht. Jetzt bei NXT finde ich ihn überraschenderweise sogar noch schlechter. Ebenso wie Shawn Spears ist er generischer geworden und älter... Sorry, aber der Lack ist ab."

[7.0] "Baron Corbin has always been an underrated WWE workhorse; he is a very safe worker by the many times he has saved people from bad injuries, e.g., his save against Dolph Ziggler. His Lone Wolf gimmick will always be the best he has ever had, but from his current work when he was a heel, he really does know how to get himself hated by the audience and does it to perfection."

[6.0] "after his terrible era in 2019, corbin has improved a lot in the ring which even at his age is very shocking. can see him as a tag team guy but overall solid worker"

[5.0] "I liked his work during the lone wolf days but later, he was a 0 point wrestler. He had go-away heat. Though the last time I saw him, he wasn't unbearable. So 5 points."

[7.0] "For the first few years of his career, Corbin was really green, but as time went on he evidently got better and was a solid powerhouse, a few failed gimmicks later he got sent down to NXT where he really got to showcase how good he is, he was in the main event and had a really good team with Breakker, even winning tag gold. He went back up to the main roster and is in the lower mid card now, putting people over."

[7.0] "Great wrestler, great on the mic, great characters, fans love him atm. Deserves a title reign or iconic feud before he retires. Has been the product of terrible Vince booking decisions for a number of years. Probably should have won the NXT title before he left Nxt and stayed for a few more months but he is a great wrestler and deserves something great in the next few years."

[6.0] "The embodiment of a wrestler that is fundamentally just fine - not specifically exciting in any way, but not terrible. He has a good moveset - the Deep Six is an underrated signature and could be a realistic finisher if built enough. He's also really safe to work with. I just can't get specifically excited for a Corbin match - he's a good hand with a good moveset, but that's about it. EDIT: he has improved and had a very good run in NXT."

[6.0] "Corbin's A weird one, if this was based off his current self I'd give him A 7. Any other era of Corbin is at best A 6, and at worst.. like A 4. You could argue he at his prime heel days was A great heel, this is false. The heat he had has been said A lot but it was go away heat, because 2018 Corbin was awful. So back to the beginning, he did nothing in NXT for A bit before beginning A win streak, to his credit this was cool. Well it was cool for A little bit before he started to suck, giving Samoa Joe A bad match. The run eventually ended and his main roster run began strong, he won the Andre the giant memorial battle royal near the end of mania 32 in his debut. He had mid matches constantly, then the brand split started.. this is his original peak. Because he had consistently decent, sometimes good matches, which for Corbin that's great. He eliminated Braun in the RR match, had A good feud with Dean, it was going well. Eventually he won the US title which didn't last long, but it happened. And then.. well. He went bald, and became one of the worst heels this company ever saw.. constable Corbin. He constantly won, and began the mid-card vortex of doom with Lashley and Drew which sucked. This was so bad the McMahons blamed the companies failures on him, and removed him as the on-screen GM. Then it gets worse... he retired KURT ANGLE! He feuded with Seth for A bit, that sucked. He entered KOTR, then became King Corbin which also sucked. He had bad feuds with Gable, Roman, Elias, it all sucked. He got opportunities that others deserved.. it was bad. Then he entered A endless feud with Nakamura, and became poor Corbin. Which this didn't last long but it was gold. Then he became Happy Corbin which.. well it sucked. He had Madcap Moss by his side, and KO is one of my favorites so I especially hated this.. but he had A really really bad feud with KO for A bit. Then he entered A bad feud with Drew, which saw the end of days being kicked out of for the first time. Moss turned face, won the feud. He went away again and JBL was in his corner this time, he got wins over much better wrestlers like Cedric and for some reason Gargano. Then he jobbed more, and went to NXT. His NXT run started off very strongly, he had A great match with Melo for the NXT title. He feuded with Bron Breakker which was great, not so great was his match with Gable Steveson. Finally he teamed with Bron and we got so far his career peak, the wolf dogs. They had great matches, especially with Frazer and Axiom. Then both got called up and this is where we leave off.. they went on separate brands, and as I speak Baron finally made it on TV in A weird feud with Legado. This is unfinished, obviously. But we finally seem to be going somewhere with Corbin. People say he's underrated, he's not. If not for his current work he'd be A 5, which is fine but besides that lone wolf run from 2016-2017, and the poor Corbin run, its all been bad. One thing I didn't mention as I forgot it was his MITB win.. yeah less said about that the better. Overall at one point he was A solid hand, he's finally become A good wrestler which is nice, so A 6 is good for Corbin."

[1.0] "For a brief time in NXT he was a good heel. That's where the good stuff ends. His NXT gear was the best but he had awful, stringy hair on top of his bald head. Then he shaved it which looked fine but he changed his gear to look like he was the host at Applebee's. Then he was Sad Corbin, Happy Corbin, Demure Corbin and who knows what else but none of it worked and no one bought subscriptions and tickets to see him. He also has the dubious distinction of being Kurt Angle's last and worst opponent in a forgettable nothing match. Now that he's back in NXT he's doing some decent stuff but teaming with Ridge Holland ain't it."

[5.0] "Just not for me, I have never really enjoyed any of the Corbin matches that I have watched and don't really enjoy his character work. His brief feud with McAfee was decent but ultimately I'm not a massive fan"

"One of the most underrated wrestlers out there, he does what he needs to for the business. His recent work in NXT has been some of his best, and I am a big fan of his recent gimmick. When it comes to actual wrestling I can't say he's the best out there, but he can put on a match, I hope with his recent move back to the main roster will go just as successful as his NXT run."

[6.0] "Corbin was overrated at the main roster in his first run and I am a little glad that he didn't win a World Championship at the main roster. That being said, his work in the developmental brand NXT was a hige improvement and he was part of a badass team with Breakker. Hopefully, his work only improves and he is able to keep up the good work when he comes back to the main roster."

[7.0] "Corbin gets way too much hate. He is far from as bad that people try to make him seem like. Decent mic skills and decent in ring. He also has an amazing finisher. Only things i currently dont like is his character. UPDATE: Originally had him at 5 in 2019. 5 years later i feel confident in saying that he has improved greatly. He feels more fluid in the ring, and his character work has been good since he dropped the king moniker."

[7.0] "Honestly the perfect midcarder, throw him in the ring with anyone and youll get an alright match, seems to be taking will to filling the role Dolph Ziggler had for years."

[9.0] ""He ain't claiming the title of world's finest, but he's far from the bottom of the barrel. Seriously slept on, his NXT stint right now is pure gold. Watching him and Bron Breaker tear it up in those weekly tag matches? Absolutely killer stuff, man! ""

[6.0] "corban is corban. He's not the best in the world but he is not the worst either. he's nothing more than a satisfactory wrestler if built right he could fit in anywhere but ultimately he is never built right. his finisher is good and was known for having one of the most protected finishers there is but that doesn't change the fact that he's a mid-wrestler with mid-promos that's mid in the ring. if elevated with more training and given more of a chance he might have been able to shine but that's not going to happen anytime soon."

[9.0] "I always liked Corbin, from his nxt days where he was initially portrayed as an intimidating silent killer who would squash his opponents. Since moving up to the main roster, many have considered him bland on the mic and limited in the ring. Even though he doesnt stand out, he still is a reliable worker who can have a good match if his opponent carries him. In 2021 everything changed for Corbin. Well not in the ring. But character wise he has been doing the best work of his career. Here s to hoping that he will be able to keep building momentum. (2024): His run in NXT has been phenomenal. He has shown that not only is he a safe, consistent and reliable worker, that can connect with the crowd thrpugh his character work when given the opportunity, but also that he can pull off some top tier matches when paired with the right opponents or tag team partners (and he stands his own in those matches, he is not being carried anymore as I had remarked some years ago) . Moving him from an eight to a nine."

[7.0] "Severely underrated, his current NXT run has been fantastic to watch with him and Bron having great weekly tv tag matches."

[6.0] "Got to give Baron Corbin credit, he has gotten MUCH better in terms of just about everything, and a lot of wrestling fans will never give him credit for it. Baron's run in WWE has been nothing short of tragic, particularly because of booking. Seriously, they had him go over Kurt Angle in Kurt's farewell match 5 years ago and that was supposed to be the start of something great. Unfortunately, WWE fumbled it and besides a run as the 'King of the Ring' in the same year as his match with Kurt Angle, Baron's career went downhill real quick, although he seemingly lost a lot of the 'Go-Away' heat he had and became way more natural with heat as a heel. His character work (even when he was the infamous General Manager of RAW in 2018) is actually not bad, his 'I have no job and therefore, I'm a poor person' gimmick was really fun to watch and he was really cool as 'Happy Corbin'. I believe the best attribute(s) of Baron is without a doubt his in-ring style of wrestling, his 'Deep Six' and 'End of Days' finishers are awesome and actually brutally realistic when he maneuvers them. Also, I heard he's very over in the country of France, which is cool and good for him I guess?"

[3.0] "I find Baron Corbin a very dull wrestler and I rarely even remember what has happened in matches featuring him even after they have ended. I did enjoy that match he had with Pat McAfee though, that was good fun but that mainly comes down to the daftness of his opponent!"

[7.0] "I think Corbin's ability to come off as so hate-able does a disservice to how good his heal work is. I don't see Corbin having a real top tier title run, but as a Mid to upper card heel, he's the glue that can hold some many storylines together. His runs as King Corbin, Constable Corbin, and Happy Corbin have shown his character range, and his in ring work ranges from good to excellent. Heck, his Deep Six and End of Days alone rate a higher rating than he's got."

[7.0] "This overall rating is far too low for Corbin. He is very good at character work, can make any gimmick given to him work as proven with the multiple very bad gimmicks he's had, yet he's made them work to the best he can and they're memorable because of that. Not just that but in-ring he can genuinely go, he's not bad at all. Had a pretty good moveset and knows how to sell. Definitely not as bad as made out here."

[3.0] "The only thing this guy is really good for is laughing at. And his extremely retarded gimmicks. Like happy corbin and King Corbin are hilarious but like bro cmon why does he ever win matches. Also King Corbin, while funny on the surface, was extremely fucking stupid like bro really think hes anywhere near the level of King Booker. Like its not even close bros a mickey mouse KOTR winner. Like thanks for giving one of the most insufferable people on the roster a KOTR W so now he has something to brag about and oh boy he did. Oh also thank god he got MITB and did nothing with it."

[7.0] "He's better than his rating would suggest on cagematch. I know a former wrestler friend that is a big fan of his because he really knows how to get huge heat. He has had some really bad booking that's turned a lot of people against him but his 2023 NXT run has shown that the guy can work if given the opportunity. I also was a big fan of his broke gimmick he had, It could have lead to a decent baby face run though I suppose that might be a waste of him being a heat magnet."

[5.0] "Bro has one really good finisher and thinks that can carry him. He's ok at best in ring, even worse on the mic, and the only crowd reactions he gets are boos because we're all so sick of how pushed he was, not because he's a good heel. End of Days is sick but that's it."

[7.0] "WWE has been throwing shit on the wall when it comes to Baron Corbin for years now and none of it seems to stick. He's a reliable midcard heel that can help get top babyfaces more over if they weren't anymore over already but other than that, there is NOTHING going for him anymore. Edit: (Boosted 3 points) It seems as though returning to NXT has given him a breath of fresh air and he's doing much better in his current role with a gimmick he seems to enjoy as well as being made a credible threat to the NXT lockeroom."

[7.0] "Despite his horrible booking and treatment over the past few years, it seems fans are aching for a reason to cheer for Corbin. He's been through so many bad gimmicks and stories that 2005 Kane might feel he has some competition. Currently, his repackaging seems to be working and he's going back to his original character, which was ultimately his strongest. Here's hoping he gets a push and is shown the respect I feel he's earned."

[10.0] "Corbin's the most underappreciated talent in the entire WWE: his booking has just been tragic over the years. He's a man that can do it all in the industry, and I truly hope he'll get his dues in the upcoming years. 11 years of service, only one 70 day US title run, zero other titles...it's a joke. I'll always root for him. Here's why Corbin is massively underrated: - Corbin's a true company man in every way. Why? 1) Because he's been jobbing to talent for years now without complaining. 2) Because Corbin's been handed a large amount of different gimmicks, and still been very dedicated to them all. His work as "Sad Corbin" was remarkable, it was Corbin turning a shit gimmick into pure gold all by himself. He was getting really over with the crowd by the end of said gimmick's run, all because of his own talent. That run should have continued longer. - Corbin had one of the genuinely greatest theme songs of all time, being "I Bring the Darkness" aka Jim Johnston's last ever work for WWE. Besides that iconic legendary theme, Corbin's overall theme song catalogue is very strong thanks to bangers like "Burn the Ships" and "Superhuman". - Corbin has one of the most beautiful devastating finishers in WWE history, being End of Days. It's a special finisher that's been rightfully very protected, as it's never been kicked out of minus the horrible decision to have Drew do it once. -Corbin's overall strong and solid in the ring. He pulls off one hell of a Deep Six when allowed to(the same goes for his overall in-ring performance) like he showed in his most recent title match where he put on a strong match. - Corbin's very good and versatile on the mic: he's delievered all kinds of promos over the years. Overall though, he is and has been an amazing consistent heel who's promo work has gathered constant heat from the crowd. - He retired Kurt Angle at the biggest stage, Wrestlemania. That in itself will always be special. Lastly, Corbin will be NXT Champion soon if HBK is reasonable. That's all."

[7.0] "Corbin is already a veteran, and regardless of who dislikes it, he has established himself as a person within the industry, though not as a character. The guy has tried everything to establish himself, but he can't due to his booking or lack of a spark. The issue, in my opinion, isn't Corbin himself; he has it, but unfortunately, neither the audience nor the creatives see that "thing". A shame"

[9.0] "Always dedicated to his character and manages to play it really well the entire time even if it falls flat, has an amazing move set with the Deep Six and the End of Days, but has continued to be wasted of his talent and ruined and just used as an enhancement talent, but recently has got a reboot in NXT but is also used for debuting superstars because he is one of the safest workers in the company. While also he is not being scared to get heat and plays such a good heel to the point he is able to make the crowd hate him no matter his character."

[7.0] "First of all, I'd like to point out how dedicated Corbin is to whatever character he portrays. His work as Bum-Ass Corbin was unmatched and he deserves every bit of the praise he gets for it. Because he is bringing back the Lone Wolf gimmick in NXT, he should surely receive a push there because he is a fairly good in-ring worker. He has a decent amount of charisma as well. The Deep Six and End of Days are awesome moves too."

[8.0] "Very underrated. He is OK in the ring, if given the good opponent. He has charisma, can't talk with a microphone and, most of all, can't interpretate every character they gave him (the lonewolf, happy corbin, the broke corbin, gm corbin)."

[7.0] "Corbin is a safe good in ring worker which is the most important thing in the business. In the ring he is not the most exciting, but he is good. On the mic he can get a crowd to hate him easily. Had some gimmicks that hurt him and lacks an it factor."

[6.0] "Corbin is a solid wrestler who often gets saddled with terrible gimmicks. I could imagine giving him a higher rating if the booking that surrounded him wasn't always so lousy. As it is, despite liking him enough as a wrestler, I find him very challenging to enjoy because of the awful material he is consistently given to work with."

"I think Baron Corbin probably has all of the skills to be a top guy, but he's continually booked as a loser. Sometimes, a very literal loser. As it stands, his End of Days is a great looking finisher that's well-protected, and he's known for being one of the consistently safest workers in the company. Maybe the heyday of someone like Baron Corbin has gone by, but maybe at another time he could've been something really special."

[3.0] "I'm impressed by this mans ability to be big and do absolutely nothing else of worth. He had the potential to get better a few years ago but he's settled in to this role of giant dumbass in the wwe and a certain section of fans are convinced he's actually good? Is it because he gets people to boo him before a match and then nothing during it? You're a giant ass dude who is supposed to bully guys in ring and yet nothing he does ever looks good. The simplest thing in all of wrestling and he cant do it. I just dont get it but hey he'll have a job with them for life"

[6.0] "Baron Corbin may not be a 5-star match kind of performer, but he has enough skills to tell a good story. His Lone Wolf gimmick was cool, he could've been a World Champion with that. Then his runs as Constable, King of the Ring and Happy Corbin were just excuses to feud with Upper-carders and Main Eventers to put them over. He has been used as a jobber for the stars, basically."

[7.0] "I think Baron Corbin is everything a heel should be. At his peak, he was hated, he was diabolical. He was the butt of jokes. It seems like whenever WWE straps the rocket to him they feel the need to rip it right off him. He got the Money in the Bank and then got rolled up by Mahal. When he was made the constable and was THE top heel on Raw. He retired Kurt Angle at WrestleMania. WWE had the opportunity for some real heel heat by having him use some heel chicanery to beat Rollins for the Univ title but then they muddied up that feud by throwing in Lacy Evans for some reason. You have to give him credit for making the homeless gimmick work, but then they really didn't do anything with that either. They missed their opportunity with this guy, now he's just a comedy jobber. But as a wrestler, he's got an underrated moveset, but doesn't get carried to great singles matches."

[5.0] "I think Baron has the ability to be a good upper mid-card/occasional main-event heel. Still, his booking stinks. I also hate that he's spent half his career wrestling in dress pants."

[3.0] "The definition of average, he lucked out being tall but still has an unimpressive physique put him in a lineup with guys like Lashley, McIntyre and Strowman and you'll see why Corbin's size alone isn't enough for him to coast on. I don't think I've ever seen Corbin do any chain wrestling, submission holds or display any real athleticism like a dropkick. I hear that he has some boxing credentials so he focuses more on strikes but that leads to many underwhelming matches. His mic work is okay every storyline he's been given from the WWE such as "bum ass" Corbin and King Corbin he's rolled with it and made the most out of it. His signature moves are generally performed well."

[7.0] "Baron Corbin as a wrestler is honestly great. Its too bad that WWE makes him look bad with these awful gimmicks. Although the lone wolf is my favorite version of Corbin, it still could get pretty boring. But the End of Days is probably one of my favorite finishers ever."

[8.0] "A 8 because he is one of the best heel in the business. Everyone hates him. That means he is doing his bloody job, and damn well."

[4.0] "At this point, I have no idea what's next for Baron Corbin. He's a decent in-ring worker (or at least was), and he had the potential to be one of the top heels in the company. His initial run as the "Lone Wolf" was easily the best work of his career and he was arguably one of my favourite wrestlers during the Smackdown Live era. Things looked real bright when he won the MITB briefcase but due to some backstage heat, he became only the third person in WWE history (at the time) to fail his cash in. This completely killed any momentum he had left and he hasn't really been able to recover since. Since then, we've had "Happy Corbin", "Sad Corbin", "King Corbin" and even "Constable Corbin", yet none of these gimmicks really stuck with the audience. Don't get me wrong, he made the best of what he could but it's as if the fans just don't care anymore. His latest partnership with JBL was a complete failure in getting him over and as of right now, things seem very hopeless for Corbin."

[5.0] "Baron Corbin is not the best wrestler for sure, but he's not that bad either. His old gimmick was pretty good, and he can have a good match if he puts his mind to it. I don't know if he'll get any better, but he's a good heel."

[3.0] "Not a good wrestler by any means, be a heel or be a face, he's really inadequate, which is a shame, because he have a good presentation. Although he's booed on the program on a consisten basis, one thing is being hated because you're a good heel (HBK, MJF, Piper) and other completely different is being hated because you're insufferable and all around bad in-ring and in promos. His best singles matches are barely passable at best, and he only truly shines in larger group matches, when he has a 30 seconds spotlight; his promo work it's the same way, specially in a promotion with good talkers. All of this is sad, because I really liked him in NXT, even if sometimes it was kinda awful."

[8.0] "An absolute workhorse, who at the same time is a charismatic speaker who really knows how to make fans hate him. Baron has put himself in good shape by the beginning of his career and he is constantly changing as a character, therefore it is interesting to watch him, especially considering that he is one of the really not many people in WWE who is exceptionally good as a villain and always knows how to cause heat."

[2.0] "The only reason he's a "good heel" is because he's boring and people are gonna boo him if WWE keeps pushing him. Had a winning streak in NXT, had a win at WM in his debut, had an amazing theme as I Bring the Darkness, was the GM/anti-GM and the main heel, ended Kurt Angle's career, was prominently featured in this latest years. And I can't remember anything good to say about him. Even Jeff Jarrett or Roman Reigns had some redeeming qualities. This guy? Nah."

[4.0] "Im Ring ok, aber gimmickmäßig nahezu durchgehend unterirdisch. Seine Lone Wolf-Zeit fand ich extrem farblos. Danach hatte er ein kleines Hoch, denn als GM hat er mir sogar recht gut gefallen...abgesehen davon, dass er selbst, wenn er genug Zeit zum Umziehen gehabt hätte, immer in seinen feinen Geschäfts-Klamotten in den Ring gestiegen ist. Komplett unsinnig. Danach konnte wieder kein einziges Gimmick bei mir zünden, weder Happy noch Sad noch King Corbin. Knappe vier Punkte."

[2.0] "Let's be honest the only gimmick in which he looked cool was Lone Wolf, after he shaved his head, WWE don't know what to do with him because of which any of his images look pathetic and funny, lol WWE trusted him to end the legendary career of Kurt Angle ! in order to raise his status! Seriously ? Even now the WWE have abandoned the services of JBL because Baron Corbin is hopeless as a wrestler, the only bright spot is the image of "Sad Corbin" and that's it. I don't know, he seems to have some potential, but he disappeared."

[0.0] "as a big wrestling fan, he represents everything that I don't like in this discipline, whether in the ring, his moves but also his mic-skill as well as his gimmick. I kind of liked him back in 2016-2017 with his shot for the IC Title but actually he is very bad in the ring for me."

[3.0] "Einfach nichts was er macht ist auch nur annähernd spannend genug, dass mich seine Matches überhaupt ansatzweise interessieren würden. [3.0] "Great size so he could be used a lot more effectively in a role that amplifies that but he's just another wrestler in WWE and he's very bland, although now and again shows some good heel work. I can't recall a good match or feud he was in. It's nice that his finisher is somewhat protected in today's world of insane kickouts."

[3.0] "He ist to poor for WWE. He has not charisma at all. He has a bad match with Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania."

[8.0] "What I like most about him is that he isn't afraid to be hated. He relishes in it and i think that's why regardless of his range of characters they've gave him (a constable, a lone wolf, a king, etc), he's been able to make it work. He loves seeing the fans mad, everything they like he stops doing, everything they don't like he does more of, it's just fantastic. He doesn't want any redeeming qualities what so ever. In recent years, he's became the heel that you work with before you get to top heel (Brock or Roman usually), and done great in the role. Has had great matches with the likes of Finn Balor, Roman Reigns, Drew McIntyre, etc. in the recent years. He's an actual athlete also, former football player in the NFL, former golden gloves boxer, which I think plays in to it also because it helps give him the vibe that while not too many take him seriously as a character, he can take care of himself if he needs to (kinda like Kurt Angle in his day)."

[6.0] "Baron Corbin is a wrestler whose wrestling doesn't really stand out but who is pretty good as a heel, although that's just it, he doesn't stand out because he's not that good in the ring."

[7.0] "I think this is one of the best heels in WWE. His best period was in 2015-17, in the role of a lone wolf. And now, in general, his image can be very annoying.It is also very interesting that on the show this person is heel in front of us, but in fact he is a very kind and hardworking person. It's the same on social media"

[0.0] "One of the most boring wrestler ever. He is technically good and rarely botches but I find him so uninteresting. I skip all of his matches whoever is opponent is. However his finisher and the deep six are really cool moves."

[7.0] "A good wrestler and overall great worker. It's very important to be able to work with mutiple types of opponents and not injure anyone. Corbin is ace."

[6.0] "A good wrestler. A good crowd worker. Solid hand but not particularly special in any sense of the word"

[7.0] "This guy is very cool, although he had some bad gimmicks like Poor Corbin. He really has what it takes to be the main stage player, they just need to give him a chance. His mic skills are allright ale he is very good in the ring. I think a manager would do wonders for him. Current gimmick (Happy Corbin) has ran it's course, I think if we just return to Corporate Corbin it'll be good."

[7.0] "One of the most versatile players in the roster. He is interesting in every gimnick. Probably if they made him play the beaver, he would play the beaver best. You can only complain about ring skills, but it's not bad either. It is a pity that he has not yet had the opportunity to show himself as the main champion."

[3.0] "I really used to like Corbin and I would of given him a 6 or 7 back in 2017 but he just gets less and less interesting as time goes on."

[0.0] "Honestly, I'll never understand what Vince (or WWE) saw in this guy. Baron Corbin has a mediocre look. He's freaking boring, and it's alarming how he's been on the main roster for 6.5+ years, but yet he's STILL yet to have a single good feud in his entire career. Pretty much everyone who feuds with Baron Corbin ends up looking worse than they were beforehand. It's not a coincidence that Drew McIntyre is in a far better spot than he was earlier this year when he was stuck feuding with this bore for 4+ months. Corbin is also nothing special in the ring. He's a charisma vacuum who gets go-away heat too because I BET that he could be fired tomorrow, and yet none of the WWE crowds will end up missing him. He's also nothing special on the mic. Corbin feels the need to either keep changing his awful gimmicks over the last several years, or he just NEEDS to be paired up with other superior talents in a mini-group because he's so painfully boring as a talent. Anyway, thank God that Triple H is in charge of WWE now since Baron Corbin can finally get depushed down the card (which is further exemplified by the fact that he's taken 3 pinfall losses in a row on TV, and by the fact that Ricochet has now beaten him twice cleanly)."

[5.0] "Ouside the ring he seems like a chill and cool dude. Inside the ring? Kevin Nash school of wrestling, I can't say I blame him. the folks of scj made him out to be a meme to enjoy him."

[2.0] "I do not like watching Baron Corbin matches. I do not like watching Baron Corbin segments. It's not about wanting to see him get what's his. It's go-away heat for me. 6 points for everything before his MITB cash-in. -4 points for everything after."

[9.0] "I don't care what anyone says, one of the best heels in WWE's modern era. His ability yo get heat is often mistaken for go-away heat, but no, this guy's just really great at making people despise him and want to see him get his comeuppance. His confidence and smug arrogance and just the general way he carries himself is more genuine and smooth and less forced as Happy Corbin, but I do miss his badass Lone Wolf days. Characters like that are hard to create and keep mystified. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying his current work, but if he were ever to snap back to being a lone wolf, that would be awesome. I-ring wise I've actually always enjoyed his work, he's not supposed to do cool stuff and spots to pop the crowd, he's a heel through and through."

[7.0] "One of the most underrated wrestlers currently, good moveset and unique moves, the issue is the character he has, WWE needs to change this character now that he stopped being the cringe comedic guy he has been. They need to do what they did with Alexa, keep a half of the current character with the other half of the past character, Corbin would be amazing being egocentric and Lone Wolf at the same time. Well, physically is not any fancy but he is a complete wrestler."

[4.0] "He's gotten better recently with his character work to the point that you could say he's underrated. However, it still doesn't erase the times he was bad and the fact that is he's still not good in the ring. He's shown he can be entertaining though and that's more than I thought years ago. He'll never be a main star, at least he shouldn't be. His work as someone down on his luck provided a career highlight and great character work. Happy Corbin is less entertaining but still has some solid moments. He started low but has gone into mediocre range with his character work although the best you get in the ring is average and even that's rare which is why I can't go higher on his rating."

[8.0] "One of the most polarizing figures in recent WWE history, Happy/Baron/King Corbin has never been particularly liked by the IWC due to his safe style of wrestling and being constantly pushed as one of the top stars in the company, though that has calmed significantly over the last year or so. Corbin is not perfect. His look isn't the most appealing, his matches can be boring at times and he has had to work with some rather atrocious material. But what he excels at is his character work and adaptability. Corbin is excellent as a heel and comes off as a naturally detestable figure regardless of the gimmick he plays. From being the Lone Wolf to the GM of RAW, a king, a bum and most recently, an obnoxiously happy guy with riches beyond your wildest dreams, Corbin has made everything he's touched better by being so good at it being unlikable. It helps that he's quite solid in the ring, especially when it comes to his signature moves, the Deep Six and the End of Days. There's a reason why WWE calls his name whenever a top face needs a feud. That's because Corbin is the kind of guy who can be trusted to bring his A-game everytime."

[4.0] "Ist ein solider Worker, aber er konnte mich mit keinen Gimmick überzeugen. Er gibt halt nichts her und seitdem Happy Corbin absolut belanglos. Innerhalb der WWE wird die Midcard das höchste der Gefühle sein."

[2.0] "He's embarassingly bad especially when you consider he's been doing this for 10 years. Has 2 cool moves and literally nothing else. Can't bump or sell convincingly, is quite cringe, just an all around trash performer."

[9.0] "Baron/Constable/King/Happy Corbin is one of the best heels in WWE of the past decade. He can generate some top tier levels of heat without having to rely on cheap heat tactics. In ring I think he's pretty good too. He has all the tools to be a successful world champion, and WWE keep him protects (his finisher has never been kicked out of) but for some reason won't pull the trigger."

[8.0] "I don't think Corbin deserves as much flack as he gets, he is a capable competitor and one of the better NFL transfers to come over to WWE. He makes other guys look good and he can keep up if he's put with the right people. AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Kalisto have all had good chemistry with him, and Corbin always manages to get heat while in those same matches. His mic skills have drastically improved, and although I'm not a huge fan of his Happy Corbin deal, the Lone Wolf brought a good level of intensity to WWE and NXT. Let's also not forget that his move set is pretty sweet too. The End of Days is killer (and protected well, since no one has kicked out of it) and the Deep Six is fun too. I'm not ashamed to be a fan of the guy, but it's too bad he gets a bad rep."

[7.0] "I do not like Baron Corbin at all really, but I can admit that he is insanely underrated as a wrestler. He is incredibly safe, smooth, and has two of the most awesome looking signature moves in wrestling right now. Sure, he can be a little boring, but with the right opponent he can have a really fun match. His hobo gimmick was insanely entertaining, but his other gimmicks were not. He had a great string of matches in the King of the Ring tournament, but was one of the worst kings ever. Has had a lot of ups and downs through his career but has remained fairly consistent in the ring."

[8.0] "The modern era's Honky Tonk Man or Justin Bradshaw Layfield. A truly, genuinely hated heel who's exceptional in his role."

[4.0] "Er hat einen coolen Finishing Move. Ansonsten kein besonders guter Wrestlers und ein typisches Resultat aus der WWE Schmiede der Quereinsteiger ins Wrestling. [2.0] "He is just not a very good wrestler as soon as the bell rings, I will credit him that he throws himself into whatever gimmick he has but that still means we have to watch him wrestle. His most interesting feud has been with his receding hairline."

[10.0] "Baron Corbin is a tremendous worker who can work out any character. He is also skilled in promos and in ring work and moves very well for a man of his size. He can work out any gimmick given to him and deserves to be world champion"

[7.0] "One thing I like about Corbin is that he's a true heel. Never tried being a "cool heel" and he gets legit boos. Some of his characters were terrible like Constable Corbin. I enjoyed King Corbin for a while but it got old eventually. The verdict is still out on Happy Corbin. He's good in the ring, and his finisher is cool. Deep Six is a cool looking move as well. He is a dependable mid card heel."

[10.0] "he's amazing. he's been having gimmicks with so much potential and WWE just never utilized them to the fullest. he could be a dominant world champ as the Lone Wolf but they ruined his cash-in. he could be one of those powerful, unbreakable villain bosses like in the movies as the constable/gm but they made him look weak. he could be the best king to date but they booked him as a joke. most importantly, they make him lose most of his matches. i guarantee you that they'll ruin his broke gimmick too and not make anything good out of it. Corbin has enough skills, both on mic and in ring(even though they limited his moveset after NXT) to become a top star or at least a dominant upper midcarder but he'll forever be a joke to WWE."

[9.0] "Love that guy. He's very safe to work with, and he has in-ring skills. Also he's very good as a heel, many people hate him, but he's great really. I just hope the "King Corbin" gimmick ends soon, so I can give a him a 9. Oh and his theme song kicks ass UPDATE: Finally "King Corbin" is over, so I'm chaning the rating to 9. His new gimmick is awesome, and dude's killing it"

[9.0] "Actually, I didn't like this man very much when he was a king, but the fact that he lost the title of king recently increased my interest in him, I hope you will be like before, king!"

[4.0] "I don't think there is anybody else in WWE's roster that embodies "mediocre" more than Baron Corbin. Incredibly bland in the ring, boring on the mic, his gimmicks have been passable at best, although King Corbin was insufferable and went on for way too long. I think what's carried him for so long on the main roster is despite his in-ring work not actually being very good, he's known for being a safe worker, and he's apparently a very likable person backstage. Good on him, I guess. I'll admit that his current "sad and broke" gimmick has actually been kinda funny. The actual sad part about this gimmick is that passable, 6/10 humor has managed to be the best work Corbin has done in his entire WWE career."

[6.0] "Baron Corbin is beyond underrated. The guy is a legitimate fighter, a legitimate athlete, and a pretty damn good professional wrestler. Perhaps his booking has been polarizing, but that doesn't factor much into this for me. Corbin has a great move set and has proven to be the perfect big man opponent for athletic wrestlers. A lot of good matches from this guy. With better booking, he'd be a lot more beloved."

[8.0] "Our righteous king. Is a safe worker, a good heel, his finisher is cool as fuck, he? s got a unique look. Would like to see him as world champion one day, and am excited to see what he does with his face turn."

[4.0] "It's gonna be 4, just for his lone wolf character. It was good and he should have won WWE Title in 2017. Everything after that character was awful."

[3.0] "Most overrated WWE wrestler of the last couple of years. His booking has been so awful, and he does not have the charisma or in-ring talent to make himself a star. Unsure why he has been the recipient of a multi-year push with constant title shots."

[4.0] "He's a good uppermidcard heel but I feel like WWE should stop pushing him just for meta-heat. He's a good enough actual heel and wrestler to not have to be "I'm only relevant because I trigger fans on the internet" over. Also Lone Wolf Corbin and Commissioner Corbin are great gimmicks but King Corbin kinda sucks. There are creative ways to the "King" gimmick like they did with Regal. King Corbin is just basic hokey shit."

[10.0] "Although the vast majority do not like him, I find Corbin underrated. Not enough opportunities are given. It would have been much better now if he had successfully used Money in the Bank and became WWE Champion."

[2.0] "Baron Corbin is terrible. I can't think of many people as bad as him to stick around for as long as he has."

[5.0] "When I think of Baron Corbin, I can just think of average. He doesn't really bring anything to the product and rarely features in good matches/segments. A few years ago you could argue that he had a unique look qith his hair and the lone wolf gimmick but things have changed massively now. He gets good heel heat but is still not worthy of all the main events he's been in."

[6.0] "Corbin's kind of a hard person to rate. On the one hand, it's obvious he's never going to have a five-star classic singles match in his career, mostly due to his slow and uninspiring in-ring style. On the other, he's an incredibly safe and reliable worker who's rarely ever put on a real stinker of a match either. Thing is, because Corbin is so innately good at being a heel, he doesn't need to go out there and put on Daniel Bryan-level performances every night to be effective. I think the big issue is that he's mostly been saddled with awful gimmicks over the last few years, going from generic big mean dude with oily hair to chickenshit authority scapegoat who will show you to your table to "I won a tournament with 'king' in the title so now I am an actual literal king" dorkazoid that WWE insists they do with every KOTR winner after Booker T did it so well. Still, he's a good asset to have and really doesn't deserve all the hate he gets. I really wish this site had 0. 5 increments because I'd give him a 6. 5. I did have it rounded up to 7 but after further consideration I feel like that's a bit too generous."

[1.0] "He's the worst. He had potential in the past, but he's the worst whatever he does these days. When he looks good, it's just a GIF of "End of Days. Well... yeah, his acting skills and his speaking skills have improved. potential in the past, but he's the worst whatever he does these days. When he looks good, it's just a GIF of 'End of Days. '"

[2.0] "This guy always under-delivers. His current gimmick is so out of date and stale and his promo ability is not good. The guy has an impressive looking finisher and that is all. He doesn? t add anything when he is wrestling and does not deserve his spot. I cannot recommend any of his work and he is televised so often."

[4.0] "The one thing Corbin has going for him is hes aware that most fans think hes Terrible and uses this to get heat, however there is good reasons for everyone hating him. He is over pushed and whenever he is the main event picture he drags everyone else down to his level."

[9.0] "One of the most recognizable and constant heel of WWE, Corbin plays his role perfectly. OK his in-ring is not the most exciting, but no problem for a heel. Solid mic skill too."

[9.0] "It? s really annoying to see guys like Baron get bombarded with negative ratings when he? s actually very good, as evidenced by the many standout matches he? s had throughout his career. Is he a top tier talent? Of coarse not, but he? s been very consistent and has shown a remarkable amount of growth over the years. He? s also one of the best heels WWE has had in recent years, and has shown he can put on a great match when it? s required. He deserves more love. Overall I? d say he? s a 7/10 performer, but I? m rating him higher to balance out the insanely low ratings some people have given him. He? s certainly higher than a 5/10, give me a break guys"

[7.0] "Ja ich hab gedacht der wird was da er einen guten Finisher hat und ein cooles Thema aber daraus macht er nichts. Nur Squash Match von ihm und in der aktuellen NXT Ausgabe hat er gegen die Wrestler geshootet die aus dem Indy kamen und sich für was besseres gehalten. Mal schön angeben was er schon alles erreicht hat und das er mal Football spielte auch in der NFL wo er kein offizielles Spiel machte. Auch hat man gesehen wie er sich ein neues Tatoo stechen ließ. Sollte sich lieber mehr beim Trainieren anstrengen und bessere Leistung im Ring zeigen als solch eine Einstellung zu zeigen, 2 Punkte für ihn da muss einfach viel mehr kommen sonst ist der bald weg. Edit: 22. 12. 2016 Von 2 auf 5 Punkt rauf. Hat sich bei den WWE Hauptshows im Ring und am Mic verbessert. Edit 04. 01. 2021 hat sich die Jahre nochmal verbessert und somit von 5 auf 7 Punkte rauf."

[9.0] "it's simple since its beginnings in main roster there is a constant. Corbin is an excellent heel capable of generating organic heat. In ring he does the job well, I'm a big fan of the deep six and the end of days."

[8.0] "I don't particularly like Corbin myself but I think he does a good job in WWE. It almost seems like people rate Corbin as if Pro-wrestling was non-scripted; you are supposed to hate him but that does not mean he is a 5/10 performer. His promos make him pretty unlikable and, as that is exactly what WWE are going for, they do the job perfectly. However, I think he can be quite funny sometimes. In the ring he is fairly good as has two of the best looking signature moves on the current main roster. They definitely put him in some of least enjoyable storylines though (his feud with Roman for example)."

[5.0] "A really good heel who's only good in multi-man or gimmick matches. Not that bad, but far from great."

[2.0] "Like says a friend "Generally for a heel, you want to see him lose. Baron Corbin is the type of heel you just want to see his match end. " Nothing to see in his workrate, lame heel, boring character, overpushed like rarely compared to his level. A waste of time and of a slot in the main roster"

[3.0] "I HATE Baron Corbin. I hate him. I don't know why he was high up on the card at one point, but clearly he didn't deserve such a push. The thing I hate most about him is his gimmicks. Whether it's "Constable" Corbin or King Corbin, I can't stand him. After that, there are 2-3 things I like about him ; his entrance theme song, the Deep Six and the End Of Days are pretty impressive moves, but that's it. That's all I can say good about Corbin."

He is incredibly boring in the ring and on the mic, he's awkward to watch, and thank god he shaved his head. He can't even put on a good match with world-class talent like Cena, Nakamura, Reigns, etc. All his promos sound like I'm watching a middle school play."

[7.0] "I have to give Corbin a lot of credit. He's a much better performer than he lets on, admitting in interviews that he purposely holds back because he doesn't want people to rally behind him, which is smart, but unfortunately it leads to a situation where nobody wants to see him because the current portrayal of his character is incredibly boring. So why do I give him a 7? Because I've seen what he can do at his best and it impresses me. Watching him in multi-man matches is always a treat because Corbin is at his best when he isn't the primary focus. His offense isn't bad from a technical standpoint. Strong strikes, good flow to his moves, and his big moves (especially Deep Six) are pretty dope. His promos aren't well-written but he doesn't have a problem delivering them. The problem is that he intentionally dopes around to annoy us, which causes more disinterest than anything. I think if Corbin can tweak his formula a bit to where he can still piss people off but not make the product boring, people will keep their TVs on."

His constable gimmick is horrible, I prefer his king gimmick, I love to hate him and if he were used at his full potential, he would make a very credible champion."

[5.0] "The problem with Corbin is that he gets the wrong kind of heat from fans: rather than booing him because of his heel antics (like with Elias, who actually does get some good heat for his sake despite being a mediocre at best wrestler) they boo him because of his quite boring style of wrestling and stale, drawn out promos. Granted, Corbin does have some pretty impressive moves (the Deep Six and End of Days are amazing finishers and look great) and his gimmick of being the anti indie wrestler does have potential, but he needed to develop more in NXT before being moved up, as he's not good at working long matches and his selling is quite iffy. He does have potential and has the years to develop on it, but at the moment he's just not good at all, particularly in comparison to guys around him who are far more talented, yet not as pushed as him."

It fits nearly perfect to him, it's very unique and the whole build makes sense. As a wrestler he's pretty good. There are visible reasons why the WWE cares so much about him. Even with bad booking he's one of the most improving wrestler in the last years. Hopefully he finds the right way in near future, so he can prove himself."

At least Naito utilizes only at the door. I like some of his movements, but I believe it's his gimmick and his push that holds me back, which demonstrates how confusing the reservation is now."

I like the End of Days and he has some other impressive moves in his repertoire. I think if they make some changes to his booking he could be a good addition to the roster. But if they continue down this road, that's not doing anyone any favors."

[8.0] "The plethora of low scores, with quite irrational reasoning, show exactly why Corbin is a brilliant heel . People just hate him, his promos get real heat, he sledges with the best. His moveset is perfect for the heel (remember heels don't do exciting moves! ) and he is not slow. To say his matches and feuds lack psychology is just garbage, this is proven by the crowd booing everything he does. Corbin works good matches consistently with the biggest names in WWE and never looks out of place. More main events will come, simply because there is no-one else on the roster that can play the heel as well."

Very bland and dull in the ring and his top work was fucking terrible. His promos are largely monotonous and soulless. Now he is GM but he is not good at all. I don't know how this guy even got 20 minute matches on Raw, Lmao. Overall, just another Vince's Wet dream. I downrate from 4 to 2 because of those reasons above."

[6.0] "Hot finisher, hot theme, badass look, but his in ring work is below average and his mic skills are just normal, but his Constable character is very funny, he can take beatings and bounce back cause he's an authority figure, I hope it lasts long if they said goodbye to any plans of pushing him (looked like they wanted to in mid 2017), or else he'd be just another midcarder."

He came into the NXT Performance Center as a 6'8", 285 lbs former NFL player with no in-ring abilities or skills whatsoever. Fast forward several years later, and he is STILL THAT GUY who cannot wrestle in the ring and drags down other, great wrestlers with him in the process of the match. There is almost nothing entertaining about watching Corbin, even outside of the ring (promos suck, stone-faced all the time, etc. ) It is obvious that the only reason why he gets any TV Time at this point is that he fits Vince McMahon's fantasies of big men as "sports entertainers". At best, Corbin is a jobber. But on that note, he probably has one of the best entrance themes in the entire company."

Not exactly the worst with a microphone, but also not the best."

[2.0] "For the love of god get him off my fucking screen. Another 20 minute resthold Raw match and I'll rip my eyes out. 2/10, can get carried in some multi-mans. Smackdown triple threat with Styles and Ziggler is a good example."

Nach dem End of Days ist Schicht im Schacht! // Update 13. 11. 2017: Leider überzeugte mich Baron Corbin weder als Mr. Money in the Bank, noch momentan als Midcard Champion. Wurde leider nach seinem Koffer-Verlust sehr, sehr schwach dargestellt und ist als US Champion ohne wirklicher Fehde eher Belastung, als Bereicherung für SmackDown. Daher nur noch 6 Punkte für das immer noch solide Können im Ring. // Update 27. 07. 2018 // Nach dem Reinfall mit dem Koffer hatte ich ihn heruntergestuft, dümpelte auch lange vor sich hin, doch hat nun mit der Rolle des "Constable of Monday Night RAW" eine gute Rolle gefunden, in der er eine Bereicherung für die Shows ist. Daher gehe ich wieder auf 7 Punkte hoch."

[3.0] "Corbin ist als Redner ganz brauchbar und hat in belanglosen Battle Royals sicherlich einen Platz, den er ausfüllen kann. In der Midcard hat er meiner Meinung nach nichts zu suchen und aus dem Main Event sollte man ihn komplett fernhalten. Nicht wirklich besser als beispielsweise Jinder Mahal. Nur hat man mir Corbin immerhin noch nicht als WWE Champion präsentiert."

A ridiculous appearance and an image that does not correspond to him. Add to this the lack of talent, the desire to learn and the dirty reputation - and you will receive Baron Corbin."

Sicher, als Powerhouse ganz solide, mit zwei cool aussehenden Finishern, aber das war es dann auch... ansonsten ist er halt groß.... tja. Sein größtes Problem ist einfach das fehlende Charisma und sein Babygesicht... er wirkt wie ein hochgewachsener, besser rasierter Bo Dallas, was nicht gerade für ihn spricht.... Man sollte Looks nicht überbewerten aber Corbin hat nun mal gar nichts davon und ich denke mal, deswegen will ihn in der WWE niemand ernsthaft pushen... er kommt einfach wie eine totale Nulpe rüber. [5.0] "I never really understood the hype around Corbin. His look just seems off and his gimmick is inconsistent."

[5.0] "Mittlerweile gefällt mir Baron Corbin immer besser und er verbessert sich auch stetig und wird langsam, aber kontinuierlich gepusht. Am mic ist er solide aber seine Stärken sind das Charisma und sein Gimmick, welches mir sehr gut gefällt und das er auch super spielt. Im Ring ist er ein ordentlicher Brawler, der mit guten Gegner auch ganz gute Matches zeigen kann. Ich denke er hat viel Potential und dieses wird in der WWE bei ihm denk ich auch genutzt. 5/10."

[5.0] "Baron Corbin hat zwei echte Stärken. Die erste ist sein Charisma. Er ist jetzt keine Charismabombe die dich aus den Sitzen reißt aber mit seiner Mimik, Gestik und seinem Look nimmt man ihm den einsamen Wolf schon ganz gut ab. Insgesamt würde ich ihm hier 7/10 geben. Im Ring liegt seine zweite Stärke vor Allem in seinem Finisher. Ansonsten ist er zwar kraftvoll aber in seinem Moveset eher limitiert und hat teilweise Probleme mit dem Sellen. Allerdings hat sich das zum Besseren entwickelt und er hat zuletzt ansehnliche Matches wie bei Clash of Champions gezeigt weswegen ich ihm da inzwischen 5 Punkte geben würde. Sein Mic Work ist und bleibt schwach und irgendwie unnatürlich, was ihm vor allem in seinem Title Run geschadet hat und deshalb 3 von 10 in diesem Bereich. Insgesamt finde ich, dass er ein ziemlich durchschnittlicher Worker ist, der in der Midcard gut aufgehoben ist, allerdings für mich kein Titelmaterial ist."

[3.0] "absolute garbage. the guy's skinny and not physically intimidating at all, very run of the mill in the ring, and dreadful on the mic. the guy had some promise coming from a very respectable athletic background, but hasn't translated well to wrestling."

[6.0] "Grundsolider Big Men mit überzeugendem Look, sticht im Ring aber bisher kein bisschen heraus - Ausnahme: Sein Finisher. Ansonsten wirkt er noch ziemlich grün hinter den Ohren, was man bei ihm besonders am Micwork ganz gut erkennt. Hat zweifelsohne Potential, kann es zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt aber leider nicht wirklich ausschöpfen."

[6.0] "Since he came to the main roster he has improve a little but he remains too slow and boring to rate him hight. Furthermore he doesn't have any great reference match for the moment. His entrance and character are pretty good by the way."

[6.0] "Showed great improvement towards the end of 2016 with good matches against Kalisto, Apollo Crews, Jack Swagger, and a great showing in a triple threat against Ziggler and AJ Styles but has stagnated of late. Giving him a 6 cause I think he has bags of potential and has shown that he can have good matches, when he's not doing endless rest holds."

[3.0] "How can he even wrestle? Baron Corbin is so slow and boring that I don't see how someone could get into him. His moveset is made of only two moves (his deep-six sideslam and his finisher, the End of Days) and most of his matches see him moving erratically around the ring, punching the opponent sometimes and screaming some stupid thing. Also, his gimmick is nonsensical: why is he "The lone wolf"? Why his finishing move is "the end of days"? Are this thing explained to us? Is it part of his characterial background, or something like that? No, it isn't."

[0.0] "Boring worker, awful awful promo, bad look apart from being tall, bland personality, no charisma, no buys. Have no idea why so people are high on him or seem to think he's good, when he's underdelivered in the ring with so many guys who're good/great"

[5.0] "Corbin has the presence and the kind of size WWE likes, a cool finisher and the makings of a decent brawler. While he may have been pushed a bit too hard, too fast in the early part of his NXT career, in the second half of 2015 WWE wisely began pairing him up in matches against experienced brawlers like Rhyno and Samoa Joe, with whom he could have good matches and gain valuable experience along the way (as well as having him team with Rhyno in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic). His main roster run has been a mixed success, as he's claimed both the Andre Battle Royal and Money in the Bank briefcase, though he lost the title shot with the latter and neither was effectively utilized in his favor. He is still very much a work in progress, and time will tell if he'll be able to become the kind of superstar WWE clearly hopes him to be."

[4.0] "Corbin muss man bei dem Ganzen früheren Hate lassen, dass er sich immens verbessert hat. Am Mikrofon ist das Ganze ziemlicher Durchschnitt, Im Ring lernt er in letzter Zeit neue Moves um sein eher mageres Move-Set aufzufrischen - gefällt mir. Trotzdem wartet man immer noch auf ein sehr gutes Singles Match. Durch ein ziemlich nettes Gimmick und ordentliche Ausstrahlung runde ich das Ganze auf 6 Zähler auf. --- EDIT: Naja, ein Paar Hobby Experten versuchen ihn aktuell ja hochzuloben. Ich sehe aber immer weniger. Im Ring kommt da erstaunlich wenig veritables."

[4.0] "Ziemlich langweiliger Kerl, aber schon irgendwie halbwegs okay. Der Finisher ist ganz schick, aber ansonsten hat er im Ring nicht viel zu bieten. Am Mic kommr er meist noch ziemlich grün rüber, aber immerhin scheint machmal etwas Charisma erkennbar. Wenn er an sich arbeitet kann er seine Rolle als solider Big Man finden, mehr sehe ich im Moment nicht in ihm."

[0.0] "I don't understand why sombody likes him, for what? Because he has a good finisher and tattoos? ) Maybe but it's worth noting. Except for the finisher and a couple slams he can do nothing. His promos is sooo lame and boring but on any criticism he begins to insult people like a child"

[5.0] "Im Ring ist Corbin gar nicht so schlecht. Er hat einige wenige Moves, die sind dann aber schon gut anzusehen. Sein Finisher, der End of Dayspasst zu ihm. Am Mic geht so und Charisma solide. An seinem Selling muss er arbeiten."

[6.0] "Mal ein kleiner Edit: Baron Corbin ist ein absolut Solider Worker. Solide im Ring, solide bis gute Ausstrahlung und recht gutes Micwork welches er meist leider nur bei Talking Smack unter beweis stellen konnte. Mir fällt es schwer Corbin irgendwo einzuordnen. Er ist einfach viel zu schwach für die Main Event Szene, aber so wirklich als IC Champ oder Tag Champ sehe ich ihn auch nicht. Der Roster um ihn herum ist einfach viel zu gut bzw viel besser als er selbst."

[0.0] "Zählt weiterhin zu den 5 schlechtesten Wrestlern des Main Rosters der WWE, täuscht aber mittlerweile die Hobby Experten durch sein cooles Auftreten und solides Gimmick. Hat sich seit seiner Anfangszeit in NXT etwas verbessert, schlechter werden konnte er aber auch nicht. Sein Move Set ist keins, er kann 2 Moves, sein so grandioser Finisher ist nach 2 Wochen PC gelernt und ansonsten besteht sein Match nur aus Schlagen, Tritten und weiteren etwaigen "Moves". Kann mich an kein Match von ihm erinnern, welches man erneut sehen müsste. Man merkt ihm deutlich an, dass er nach 10 Minuten Matchzeit nicht mehr weiß, wie er das Match strecken soll. Gimmick und Booking sind durchaus gut, nur er ist es im Ring eben nicht. Corbin ist weiterhin einfach richtig schlecht im Ring und erhält deshalb nur einen Punkt. Sein Glück, dass Vince genau auf diesen Typ steht! UPDATE 4 Monate später: Corbin scheint auch charakterlich zweifelhaft zu sein, nachdem er die Kritik von Meltzer nicht vertragen hat und nur kontern konnte mit "Du hast ja nie im Ring gestanden". Seine Arbeit im Ring würde selbst Meltzer noch schaffen. Wenn man sieht was Nagata mit 49 leistet, da wird Corbin in 100 Jahren nicht hinkommen. Schlecht im Ring, ein Unsympath vor dem Herren und nicht kritikfähig. Das wars mit dem einen Punkt!"

[3.0] "Ein Typ, dessen Push mich einfach unfassbar aufregt. Wird von seinem Gimmick und den Bookern getragen, aber im Gegensatz zu einem Braun Strowman schafft er es trotzdem nicht, mich besonders gut zu unterhalten. Im Ring immer noch grün, seine Mic Skills sind ok. Als zukünftigen Main Eventer sehe ich ihn jedoch absolut nicht."

[10.0] "This Man keeps getting better every year he competes. He may have been bad in his first 2 years but after that he got really good. He absolutely deserves money in the bank and I personally can't wait until he is finally WWE champion."

[5.0] "Eieieiei, ist der grün. Der "One-Move-Man" hätte vielleicht in den 80ern und 90ern gezogen, aber heutzutage ist das Wrestling einfach viel zu gut, als dass sich so was bei der breiten Masse durchsetzen könnte. Anfangs ganz nett anzusehen, aber nach fünfmaligem Sehen ist der Finisher auch nicht mehr so die Sensation. UPDATE: Jou, Corbin macht endlich Fortschritte. Während man bei Takeover: Brooklyn erste Funken von Potenzial erkennen konnte, hat er bei Takeover: Respect durchaus überzeugen können. Auch wenn sein Gimmick eher nicht mit dem Antreten in Tag Teams korreliert, ist er dort trotzdem besser aufgehoben, da man seine zahlreichen verbleibenden Schwächen besser verdecken kann. UPDATE #2: Corbin hat den größten Sprung aller Wrestler bei NXT gemacht. Von der grauen Maus zu einem ernstzunehmenden und, ja, auch talentierten Big Man. Der könnte noch Großes erreichen. UPDATE #3: Die Hilfe von Kane scheint Früchte zu tragen. Starkes Big Man Flair, gute Heel-Attitüde und vor allem mittlerweile großartige Mic Skills, zumindest bei Talking Smack! UPDATE #4: Viele Meinungsänderungen bei mir - egal. Entweder er ist noch nicht so weit, er entwickelt sich nicht weiter oder er wird verbookt - egal wie, Corbin ist zurzeit richtig langweilig."

[7.0] "He has improved a lot. His attitude as the no-nonsense heel who won't back down from a fight is great to see. Needs to work on his promos in front of big crowds because his promos on Talking Smack as the smug jerk are great to watch. He is like a bully who can back it up. He has a very bright future if he keeps improving like this. His finisher is one of the best today."

[7.0] "Natürlich noch nicht auf einem Top-Niveau. aber eines muss man ihm ja lassen. Er ist bereit zu lernen, und man merkt dass er immer besser wird. Vielleicht kann aus Corbin mal was ordentliches werden."

[7.0] "I like Corbin, I think he's got a decent look and is becoming a really good in-ring wrestler. His big moves look good and End of Days is a great finish that he seems to get to in interesting ways. The main thing I really like about Baron Corbin is his strikes, his punches, clotheslines, stomps and kicks look really good. I also like his trash talk. [10.0] "Ich habe vor ca. 2 Jahren wieder angefangen, Wrestling zu schauen. Anfangs nur, um zu schauen, was aus den Stars meiner Jugendzeit wurde. Letztendlich bleibt einem aber gar nichts anderes übrig, als auch neue Talente zur Kenntnis zu nehmen. Die Kritiken über Baron Corbin waren schlecht. Kein Talent, keine Moves, keine Mic-Skills, die beginnende Glatze, der Bauch... Niemand wollte sehen, was ich sah: jemandem, dem ich sein Gimmik sofort abkaufe, dem ich den Egoismus abnehme, den er spielt. Kein überzogenes Theater, wie man es bei vielen anderen sieht. Was braucht man 50 verschiedene Moves, wenn ein paar grundsolide Moves ausreichen? Werde ich unterhalten, wenn er im Ring steht? Ja. Werde ich gut unterhalten? Ja. Gefällt mir die Attitüde? Ja. Könnte Corbin das next big thing sein? Ja. Sind 10 Punkte gerechtfertigt? JA!"

[7.0] "This guy has improvement written all over him. From a generic, uninteresting big guy to one of the hottest rising stars on SD Live. If he keeps up the good work, I see a very bright future for the Lone Wolf."

[6.0] "Mic: Finde ich ausreichend für 6/10 Ring: Finde ich schwach. Vince mag halt große Menschen. Was für ihn spricht ist, dass er recht schnell ist für seine Größe, bzw. er ist beweglich. 4, 5/10 Gimmick: Finde ich ziemlich cool. Ist jetzt nichts originelles aber er spielt es gut. 7/10 Promos: Langweilig, vor allem die Sache mit Kalisto war total bescheuert. Er kann aber auch gute Promos machen 5/10 =5, 6"

"It's a shame that this guy has such a low rating. I remember watching him when he first started in NXT and he was very green but he obviously had a lot of potential which he's now starting to show, especially in his match with AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler. The guy is a good heel, he's basically a big bully asshole who people actually hate, he's a legit heel. I've seen people say he's overrated and I have no clue what the hell they're talking about, if anything he's underrated. He definitely has the potential to be a top heel in the WWE and maybe even have a run as the World Champion one day."

[8.0] "Baron Corbin hat sich stark verbessert. Gimmick passt richtig gut zu ihm und im Ring sehe ich ihn sehr gerne. Für seine Größe und Statur bewegt er sich richtig gut. [9.0] "Baron Corbin hat es echt drauf. Damals wo er in NXT anfing, dachte ich mir , dass man nur seine schlechten wrestlerischen Fähigkeiten so gut es steht verstecken will, aber jeder Auftritt und in jedem Match verbessert er sich stätig und wird nicht nur dort besser auch sein Gimmick ist der Beweiß, dass die WWE aus jedem Gimmck etwas machen könnte, wenn sich nur hinsetzen und sich etwas ordentliches überlegen würden. Die Bewertung 9, 0 , gibt es nur , da im Ring noch ein wenig Luft nach oben ist. Ich denke bereits nächstes Jahr oder zum Ende dieses Jahres wird Corbin im Main Event stehen können bzw. den World Title ehrenvoll halten dürfen!"

[7.0] "Der Mann hat irgendwas was mich fasziniert und ich denke von dem könnte noch viel kommen. Im Ring richtig gut und er hat eine richtig gute Heel Austrahlung. Am mic muß er sich aber noch verbessern."

[7.0] "You can see why the WWE is grooming Corbin to be a big time player. Corbin, a football player transitioning to wrestling, is far from a finished product in the ring. He's good in burst, as he can be a bruising brawler and he's mobile but he can still be rather robotic in the ring. What Baron has improved ten fold is his ring presence. Combined with a menacing, dirtbag look he's grown a contemptible, arrogant persona that gives him more depth than most monster heels. Corbin's also coupled with a great finisher, End of Days has been very well protected thus far and it's a great move especially on smaller opponents (see Kalisto, Ziggler). Corbin should hit the ground running in 2017, he's surrounded by enough premier talent that he should become one of the top hands on SD Live in 2017."

[8.0] "Baron Corbin has quickly become one of my favorites in WWE today. He has a fantastic and intimidating presence, can work a match quite well and is fairly solid on the mic. If he became a little more expressive with his mic work in terms of his facial reactions and emotion, he could become a top talent for sure."

[7.0] "Really improved in 2016, Baron Corbin starts growing on me, at first I hated him, I thought he couldn't wrestle and\or cut a promo, starting to change my mind lately."

[6.0] "Hat sich im Lauf der Zeit wirklich gemacht. Im Ring zwar immer noch nicht wirklich gut, aber schon mal um Meilen besser als bei seinem Debüt. Charisma hat er ordentlich dazugewonnen, aber seine größte Stärke ist wie ich finde seine In Ring Psychologie. Er ist dauernd am Labern und macht seine Gegner runter, das ist eine gute Ausrichtung für einen Heel seines Kalibers. Auch das Gimmick bei NXT mit ''Ich mach alle Independent-Typen fertig! '' hat sehr gut gepasst, hoffentlich führt das bei SD eventuell fort. Er hat durchaus das Zeug, zumindest einmal einen Mid-Card-Titel zu gewinnen, weiter oben sehe ich ihn allerdings nicht."

[7.0] "Average at best in terms of actual in-ring ability, but he's doing a great job of getting heal heat. His gimmick has become "guy who makes fun of indie wrestlers" which is perfect for him. Very few heels are capable of getting people to dislike them for the right reasons, and for that reason alone, he deserves an above average rating. He's now moved beyond simple squash matches and shown that he can in fact put on good matches. Has some good power moves, but a bit more technique and charisma would take him even further."

[8.0] "Baron Corbin has it. He has improved greatly since his 10 second squash matches on NXT, and he has to potential to be a insane monster heel in the main event scene. His mic skills are questionable, but let his actions do the talking. He will be holding a mid card title before the end of 2016"

[8.0] "Constantly improves in the ring. In a 4 year career he has already developed into an amazing heel who will even downside his mic skills and ring action just to piss fans off. His attire, entrance and finisher are the most badass things in the WWE atm though. But he is still not World title worthy. Maybe a near-future IC champion, if even that. He will get a 10 from me eventually, he has loads of potential."

[6.0] "I like Baron Corbin. He got heat from the WWE Universe in NXT, he has a good theme, has two of the most appealing signature moves in the WWE today with End of Days and Deep Six and has decent potential as a character. I just think that he's still very young in his wrestling career, and as such is pretty green and hasn't found a good place for his charisma. Still though, I look forward to seeing him work and improve in the future."

[4.0] "Baron Corbin is uninteresting. He doesn't look like a superstar, and he has very little presence and charisma. ... Seriously, though, I don't think Corbin is particularly good at anything at the moment, but maybe he just needs the right program. He's adequate for a new-to-the-scene midcard heel, but I don't see any potential for him to become a top guy."

[4.0] "He is a very boring and stiff wrestler. Most of his moves look like they came out of a "wrestling for dummies" handbook. Definitely needs to improve if he's going to be a star someday."

[6.0] "Kein überragender Wrestler, ordentlich aber schon. Bei NXT war er okay, aber er konnte sein Talent auch nicht wirklich ausschöpfen, da seine Gegner meistens nur belanglose Jober waren. Der Sieg in der Battel Royal kam überraschend und bei WWE gefällt er mir momentan ganz gut. Sein Programm mit Ziggler war schonmal nicht schlecht und man sollte darauf aufbauen. Ein paar neue Moves würden ihn auch nicht schaden."

[2.0] "Bei ihm langweilen mich die Kämpfe einfach enorm. Da ist nichts, was mich irgendwie begeistern kann. Er kann einen soliden Heel bei seinen Promos abgeben, aber mit so vergleichsweise geringen Skills im Ring werde ich ihn nie sonderlich mögen."

[4.0] "I actually really like Baron Corbin's character. He's a different kind of "big man" villain -- a condescending jerk whose arrogance seems natural, and whose promos are wildly underrated. He's got a cool moveset, too -- much more impressive than the standard chokeslams and KO punches you see from most WWE giants. But for all the improvements Corbin has made, he's still a terribly slow and dull worker. While he's got potential, he definitely needs to prove that he has a higher gear -- so far his glimmers of potential have been mired in flat, boring matches. He could only be protected by six-second contests for so long, and at this point it's clear that he isn't yet ready to be a star."

[2.0] "Grauenhaft, der Mann mit dem Abschalt-Faktor. Am Mic ist er ok, aber sonst? Langweilig im Ring, kaum Charisma, zieht keine Reaktionen, schlechter Look. Ich könnte ja verstehen, dass man ihn pushed weil er groß ist, aber der Kerl hat nicht mal eine gute Statur, von der Frisur (oder was davon noch übrig ist) fange ich garnicht erst an."

[1.0] "Wie kann ein Wrestler nur so dermaßen überschätzt werden? Er strahlt für mich nichts aus, ist im Ring unterdurchschnittlich bis schlecht und von der Micarbeit brauchen wir erst gar nicht anfangen. Lediglich sein Finisher ist okay."

[6.0] "He has an impressive look and can cut a pretty good promo but where their is some good their is always some bad. He lacks a little bit in the ring. The "End of Days" and "Deep Six" moves he does look really cool and his punches look stiff but his move set is pretty bland. I feel he still has lots of room to improve."

[4.0] "Baron Corbin weist einen beeindruckenden Körperbau und ein nicht zu leugnendes Grund-Charisma vor. Leider bestehen seine Fähigkeiten im Ring ausschließlich aus dem End of Days wie auch Schlägen und Tritten. Da hätte ich mir etwas mehr an Fähigkeiten vor dem Nachrutschen ins Main Roster erwartet. So wird der große Mann irgendwann fallen und in der Card nach unten rutschen.... Leider hängt das zum Teil auch mit dem doch recht planlosen Aufbau zusammen. Matches gegen Edeljobber mögen am Anfang gut sein; danach muss aber schnellstmöglich mehr kommen...."

[4.0] "Don't expect a 5-star match from this guy, you'll be lucky to see a decent 3. 5 stars from him, and somebody, someday, might squeeze 3. 75 to 4-stars out of him when we least expect it, but the odds of that happening are pretty darn slim. An athletic prodigy who dresses like he's in the Sons Of Anarchy, Baron Corbin actually has a decent heel gimmick by portraying himself as the Anti-Internet Darling - a wrestler who sees these experienced, indy guys coming into WWE as losers and not real athletes. At 6'6 and over 270lbs, he's almost guaranteed special favours that the likes of Austin Aries will have to work extra hard for. And while the End Of Days is quite a pretty finisher, and his Goldberg-eque squash matches were quite fun for a time - Athletic Prodigy or not, he has a lot of climbing to do before he receives anywhere near the same respect as physically similar-sized legends who came before him."

Corbin has made amazing improvements to both his in-ring performance, as well as a brilliant persona in the indy-darling trashing badass that ACTUALLY gets genuine heel heat from the audience! Here's hoping Vince has some sense and put this guy ahead of the recent influx of NXT talent, because he deserves it the most."

[7.0] "Gefällt mir mittlerweile immer mehr! Noch bis vor ein paar Monaten habe ich ihn gar nicht gemocht, werde aber mehr und mehr ein Fan von ihm. Wenn er sich In-Ring technisch noch ein bisschen verbessert, kann er gerne einen Midcard Titel gewinnen. Muss auf jeden Fall in der Fehde mit Ziggler als Sieger vom Platz gehen."

[4.0] "Nein ... dieser Typ langweilt mich einfach nur. Im Ring hat er kaum was drauf und bietet eigentlich nur eine gute Statur. Ansonsten strahlt er wenig Charisma aus, ist am Mic zumindest nicht schlecht, überzeugt insgesamt aber einfach nicht. Langweilig ... einfach nur langweilig der Typ."

[5.0] "Nunja, Baron Corbin kann ich nur 5 Punkte geben. Ich bin einfach kein großer Fan von ihm. Für mich verkörpert er zwar den Lone Wolf sehr gut, jedoch fehlt mir bei ihm trotzdem einiges. Er hat n coolen Finisher und auch einige andere gute Moves die er als Big Man gut einzusetzen weiß. Wirkt auch alles immer recht sauber bei ihm. Abere es ist halt so, dass er doch sehr langsam im Ring agiert und schon ein wenig vom Gegner getragen werden muss. Wobei dies auch nicht alle zu 100prozent hinkriegen. Aber man merkt er bemüht sich und durch BG weiß man das er sich wirklich extrem abrackert. Deswegen 5 Punkte, vielleicht werden es noch mehr."

[4.0] "Manchmal sollt die WWE akzptieren, dass es für manche Wrestler eben nicht reicht. Corbin ist so ein Fall. Seine Matches sind oft noch zu langsam und er ist schon ewig bei NXT. Dort konnte er sich zwar entwickeln, musste sich aber auch schon für diverse Indie. Stars hinlegen (z. B. Joe, Crews, Zayn, Aries). Ihn durch die Memorial Battle Royal hoch zu holen, finde ich schon schwach. Ihm wird ähnliches blühen wie Breeze, the Ascension oder Dallas, die alle ihren Schwung im Main Roster verloren."

"Man kann wirklich sagen das er sich von Monat zu Monat steigert. Er ist definitiv auf einem sehr guten Weg und auch wenn sein Movearsenal noch etwas zu wünschen übrig lässt, muss man anerkennen das er mindestens solide ist. Ausstrahlung, Auftreten und Interaktion werden ebenfalls ständig besser. Ich gebe noch keine Punkte, aber die Empfehlung auf ihn in Zukunft ein Auge zu haben. Ich sehe ihn durchaus nächstes Jahr im NXT Main Event und in 3 Jahren vllt. im Raw Roster."

[7.0] "At his first Months he was a clear Zero, but he has Improved a lot, now he can cut some great Promos and his In-Ring ability still kinda lame, but is clearly better, I think he's already prepared for finally becoming NXT Championship contender, AND CHAMPION! his Gimmick is great and Turning him Heel was the right choice, Go Baron Corbin!"

[6.0] "Having watched "Breaking Ground" he seems a committed young man if slightly too intense some times. Maybe that filters into his wrestling, because as of now he is certainly not at the level of someone who could break into the main roster and be anything more than a proto-jobber. Just too stilted and straight in the ring, very small set of moves as well. Has the sort of body Vince likes so that is a plus point in his favour."

[6.0] "Als Powerhouse durchaus passabel. Aber bitte schickt ihn in eine Schauspielschule oder dergleichen. Am Mic farblos und monoton. Zeigt kaum Interaktion mit dem Publikum und wirkt , bei ausbleibender Reaktion des Publikums auf einen Spot, schnell verunsichert ."

[5.0] "Corbin hat natürlich noch einiges an Luft nach oben. Aber man merkt, dass er sich stetig verbessert. Im Ring hat er momentan noch seine Schwächen, aber das sollte sich noch auf solides WWE-Niveau entwickeln. Er wirkt sehr ehrgeizig und hat eine gute Zukunft vor sich, sofern er es schafft sich weiterzuentwickeln. Mit all den großartigen Workern bei NXT hat er dazu auch gute Möglichkeiten. Zunächst mal sind es 5 Punkte, für einen noch nicht fertig entwickelten Worker."

[6.0] "Baron braucht halt noch viel Zeit um sich weiter zu entwickeln aber wie das letzte Jahre gezeigt hat, ist er dadurch durchaus in der Lage. Ich denke in 1-1, 5 Jahren ist Baron so weit, dass wir von einem guten Gesamtpaket sprechen können."

[4.0] "Also der Typ ist interessant. Die WWE scheint Hoffnung in. ihn zu haben und er hat wirklich Coole Ansätze. Ich mag die Grundzüge seines Gimmicks, sein Aussehen, seinen Finisher und so. Das sind Eckpunkte die wirklich gut sind. Aber dann ist dieser Komplett langweilige Charismalose und schlechte In Ring Performer Baron Corbin das, was wir kriegen. Aktuell gute Ansätze mit schlechtem Endprodukt ganz klar. Aber ich sehe Eine Entwicklung die schnell nach oben geht und Hoffe, dass der Trend weitergeht. Dann gehen hier mit Sicherheit 2 oder 3 Punkte mehr und wir haben einen neuen, guten Heel"

[8.0] "great presence. asides from slightly weak mic skills (which are improving) Baron is a real treat especially with all the unique ways he's been hitting the end of days which is also a spectacle to watch. I expect great things from and for Baron."

[6.0] "Hm. Ich kann den Hate nicht wirklich nachvollziehen. Der Kerl verbessert sich stetig, hat den look, hat charisma und scheint eine vernünftige Attitüde zu haben. Er weiß nicht wirklich einen zu flashen und für WOW effekte zu sorgen, aber der junge ist immerhin och ein "Rookie", bzw. er ist noch nicht im Main Roster. Wäre er im Main Roster wär die Bewertung niedriger aber (auch wenn NXT mehr als nur development ist) er ist da um zu wachsen und sich zu verbessern also kann man auch einfach mal Potential bewerten. Und ich sehe den Kerl als potentiell starken Midcarder im Main Roster. 6 Punkte"

"WWE seems to have high hopes on this guy. He sure as the look and seems more and more over with the crowd. But when your matches are basically just your finisher move and a punch or a clothesline, your wrestling skills are seriously doubtful. Time will tell. UPDATE: Needs a serious improvement in his in-ring skills. However, for a guy of his side it's really difficult to be more athletic that what he is."

[7.0] "I do not get the hate. He is well above average at this moment, and one of the best strikers of the new generation. Plus he is awesome at getting heat."

[8.0] "His only downside is his mic skills. Everyone that down voted him before August of 2015 should redo their vote as he has shined since then. He only had squash matches for a year so people said he sucked but ever since him vs Joe at Brooklyn he has impressed in the ring and as a character. He has his gimmick down and is comfortable with it and in the ring, showing much more fluency and psycology. He's good now, only getting better"

[6.0] "Much of the backlash on Corbin is a direct response to the 60 second squash matches he had. The assumption was that he was being protects b. c he couldn't wrestle. The Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic, and his match with Samoa Joe really shows how much he has improved though. Qgen given more time to wrestle, Corbin can have a strong match without being carried."

[4.0] "Mittlerweile kann ich Baron Corbin ertragen. Was für ihn spricht, ist die Tatsache, dass er so aussieht, wie sich z. B. ein Vince McMahon Wrestler vorstellt - das kann, muss ihm aber nicht helfen. Der Look ist auch wirklich (bis auf sein irgendwie an einen Milchbubi erinnernde Gesicht) gut, das Gimmick ist ziemlich cool - auch wenn ich der Meinung bin, dass es für einen anderen Worker als Corbin noch viel besser sein könnte. Sein Finisher ist ebenfalls cool - und eine der Sachen, die er am Besten beherrscht. Ansonsten ist er immer noch vor allem eines, nämlich grün. Im Ring, am Mikro und in seiner Darstellung. Er braucht noch sehr viele Matches in einer vernünftigen Länge, ein erweitertes Moveset und eine Menge Promo-Training, um auf ein gutes Niveau zu kommen. Trotzdem muss man sagen, dass er sich schon besser macht als zur Zeit seiner ganzen Squash-Matches. Bis er für mich mehr als nur ein unnötiger Teil einer NXT-Show wird, wird es aber vermutlich noch eine Weile dauern."

[2.0] "Wie ich es vorausgesagt habe, wird Corbin wohl demnächst zum neuen Liebling von Vince. Obwohl er erst halbfertig ist (wenn überhaupt) möchte man dieses Himmick schnellstmöglich zu Raw bekommen und in wahrscheinlich direkt in die Uppercard setzen. Er hat noch garnichts gezeigt, weder im Ring, noch am Mic. Hätte er was drauf, müsste man ihn nicht mit zahllosen Squash-Matches over bringen."

[5.0] "Er hat ne ordentliche, wenn auch nicht sehr gute Statur und nen ordentlichen Look. Von den Kämpfen, die ich bisher sah, hat er In-Ring-technisch aber noch viel Luft nach oben. Mit der Zeit wird das vielleicht noch besser. ich sehe da Potential."

[2.0] "For Baron Corbin, 1 Points for his Physique and 1 for his Finisher... I know he can be improved but there are many more talented guys in NXT (Included Tye Dillinger, Jason Jordan, Sawyer Fuulton) that I think need more push than Baron Corbin because they all are talented and can saw more skills in Ring."

[2.0] "2 Punkte für den coolen Finisher, der leider 100% seiner unter einer Minuten Matches ausmacht und damit seinen Coolness Faktor langsam aber sicher verliert. Dazu ist Baron ziemlich hüftsteif und im Ring zur Zeit absolut nicht zu gebrauchen."

[4.0] "Below-average worker who is booked ridiculously strong. His tattoos and attire are a joke, like what an edgy 14 year old would wear, and he constantly looks to be on the verge of tears during the extreme close-up in his entrance. God knows what he did backstage to get this kind of a push."

[3.0] "I don't understand how the NXT commentary team can keep a straight face when they call this guy intimidating. The look on his face when he tries to look tough comes across like Cillian Murphy when he wakes up in 28 Days Later. In other words, he just looks spaced out and as if he doesn't know where he is. Not only this but he looks very unnatural when moving in the ring, as if he doesn't know what to do with his arms when he's walking."

[6.0] "Here is the thing about Baron Corbin; he hasn't had a single serious match. Could he carry a match for 7-10 minutes? I'm actually not so sure. His look is cool, and makes it easy for him to get a gimmick, but his mic work is something of a mystery. Is he gonna be the next big guy in WWE? Maybe. But in all regards, he is still very green and nowhere close to making it to the main roster."

Dieser Kerl ist groß wie viele, hat Tattoos wie viele und so weiter - da ist absolut garnichts besonderes dran. Dem wird hier alles geschenkt? Was soll denn das. Ein ernsthafteres Match und es fällt womöglich auch noch auf wie schlecht er ist. Ich kann absolut NULL mit dem anfangen, daher...."

[8.0] "Finde ihn richtig nice. Wenn er was zeigt, dann macht er es gut und ich liebe seinen Finisher. Das er OP ist stört mich persönlich jetz eigentlich weniger, da er wie der badass schlechthin rüberkommt."

[5.0] "Ein gutes junges Talent, groß guter Look und eine gewisse Ausstrahlung bringt er schon mit. Ich bin gespannt wie er sich weiter entwickelt und ob er es 2015 in das Main Roster schafft."

[7.0] "Has a good look and a lot of in ring potential. Not the worse footballer turned wrestler iv ever seen and seems to have a natural talent for wrestling unlike others."

[5.0] "Er geht schon in Ortnung als Big Man, aber er hat wie viele seiner Kollegen, die die gleiche Statur haben wie er kein Charisma und keine Ausstrahlung. Seine Fähigkeiten sind gar nicht mal so schlecht, aber ich denke eine große Zukunft hat er nicht vor sich."

[7.0] "Gefällt mir momentan bei NXT sehr gut, bekommt aber leider auch nur sehr kurze matches. Technisch schon relativ gut, schöner Finisher, am Mic bisher leider noch garnichts von ihm gehört. Kann aber alles noch kommen. Erstmal 7 Punkte, ist aber noch raum nach oben."

[4.0] "Baron Corbin ist bis dato noch schwer einzuschätzen, denn viel konnte man von ihm bisher noch nicht sehen. Seine, meist kurzen, Matches bei NXT lassen ihn aber als grundsoliden Worker aussehen. Das Problem was ich bei ihm allerdings sehe, ist fehlende Ausstrahlung. Er mag vielleicht einen eigenen Look haben aber um ehrlich zu sein nimmt man ihm diesen nicht richtig ab. Noch durfte er sich zwar auch am Mikrofon nicht beweisen aber der Top-Kandidat für einen Main-Roster-Platz ist er sicherlich nicht unbedingt. Die Zukunft wird zeigen wie- und ob Corbin seine Fähigkeiten unter Beweis stellen darf."
