I didn't like Charlotte when she was collecting titles left and right, and I was stupid. We need a wrestler like her. She has incredible status. She pushed Tiffy Stratton. She has a very beautiful and perfect stomach (important for a female wrestler) and an aesthetic navel piercing. On tonight's show, she proved herself to be a real sweetheart when she paid attention to the kid. She's gold. Charlotte is a great wrestler with incredible status!"

She moves like a star, carries herself like a star and delivers when the lights are brightest. WrestleMania 32? She carried that triple threat. Survivor Series 2018? Iconic against Ronda. Hell in a Cell? Easily main event level. She consistently delivers. And yes, she's been pushed hard. But she backs it up. The gear is top-tier. The promos are ice cold. The ring work is better than most of the roster. She makes title matches feel important, which is exactly what a top champion should do. She doesn't get cheered like Becky or pop the crowd every week, but that's not her role. Charlotte Flair is a heel in the purest sense. She's meant to make you uncomfortable with how good she is. That's why the boos come. Because deep down, people know she's earned every bit of her success"

[4.0] "A case study in how horrid booking can ruin a great wrestler. Charlotte would apparently have everything it took to succeed, but there's always been a few workers who are more over than her, and WWE refused to accept that. Instead, they had Charlotte repeatedly get wins over wrestlers the fans wanted to see. Overall, the effect hasn't been to get Charlotte over, it's to make the viewer sick of seeing her. I am one of those viewers. On top of that, she's never once developed a character beyond "wins a lot", which makes her boring when she wins a lot, and unbelievable when she doesn't win, regardless of being face or heel. At this point, it doesn't even matter that she's good in-ring; it's impossible to enjoy anything she does thanks to how WWE has treated her and how little she's evolved in response. Please retire."

[10.0] "I respect her. This is no coincidence that every WWE women wrestler have had their best match against Charlotte. In 2025 she maybe past her prime but you got to say what a prime it was, rarely seen for an american women wrestler. She was a must watch in the ring at that time, even gave Ronda a great match. WWE booking and fan perception has cost her a lot. She is right now the Greatest American Women Wrestler ever although Sasha/Mercedes has cut a lot of gap and will surpass her in coming years. I hope we see old Charlotte again and there's is a tough fight between both of them."

On one hand she is a generational talent who puts on really good matches, (for the most part), when on the other she is only in her position because of her father. Charlotte has had some of the best matches in women's wrestling history, like Flair vs. Lynch at Evolution, or Flair vs. Ripley at WrestleMania 39. She is a really good talent on the mic and really can be a believable babyface, and be a true heel. However, she is really only in this position due to her dad, and even if that is ignored, it seems whenever the WWE doesn't know what to do with a World title, they just default to Charlotte. With all that said, she is a great performer, but is just given too many opportunities. 6/10"

[5.0] "When Charlotte wants to be good, she's phenomenal. But she hasn't seem to be motivated in forever. She's a good heel and could absolutely cut a great promo. She can also have great matches. But when she's so bad so frequently, you almost forgot how good she could be. The last time I saw Charlotte doing anything good was Wrestlemania 39. There's obviously talent, but she hasn't out it to any use for a long time. And she's consistently pushed down our throats which makes it all the worse."

[3.0] "yeah shes great in the ring, but she is pushed to the moon always and it just manages to under deliver almost every time. shes always in the title picture no matter what and just taking the opportunites from the deserving and it just adds to the nepotism case because of her father. now she just seems really sloppy and they still decided to give her the rumble win when she didn't clearly need it and there was another way to have her challenge Tiffany eventually. overall, charlotte is a good wrestler, but not good enough to stand out at times, herpromo work is lackluster most of the time, and she is just overpushed and overbooked, and whenever someone brings her up you can't not think of her father which can be a bad look."

But the problem is that she's seriously overpushed; if she's on TV, she's going for a title shot, or she already has a title. And the biggest problem is her character; it hasn't changed at all. She relies on her father's legacy to a ridiculous extent sometimes, and it is a bit endearing, and I do love Ric, but it gets tiring. Don't you have a personality of your own? I also don't think she's the best in the ring out of the 4HW; that'd be Mercedes/Sasha. Her promos are decent for the most part, though, especially as a heel. Edit: The segment with Tiffany today (4/4/25) was so cringe, Jesus. 6.5/10"

Since 2015, when is Charlotte not sniffing around a championship? Take 2019 with Becky Lynch. Becky was "The Man, " the hottest act in wrestling, but WWE still jammed Charlotte into that feud, having her win the SmackDown title at Money in the Bank, only to drop it 20 minutes later. Why? So she could pad her title count to chase Ric's 16 belts. That's not storytelling; that's Vince or whoever checking a box for the Flair legacy. Other wrestlers, like Asuka or Ember Moon, get pushed aside while Charlotte's handed another shot. That's nepotism, plain and simple--no famous daddy, no way she's getting that many chances.Now, about those titles being a "pushover." I ain't saying Charlotte's weak--she's a beast in the ring. Her matches with Sasha in 2016 or that WrestleMania 32 triple threat with Becky and Sasha? Straight fire. But WWE books her like she's untouchable, and it makes her title wins feel cheap sometimes. They'll give her the belt for, like, a month, then take it away, just to say she's a 14-time champ. Look at 2021--she beat Toni Storm for the SmackDown title, held it for 27 days, then dropped it. What was the point? It's like WWE's obsessed with her breaking records, not building stories. Compare that to Bianca Belair's 420-day reign, where every defense felt like a big deal. Charlotte's reigns? Too many feel like WWE saying, "Here, have another one." That's what I mean by pushover--not her wrestling, but how easy WWE makes it for her to rack up titles while others beg for scraps.Fans see through this. Scroll through X, and you'll find posts calling her overrated or joking about WWE's "Charlotte always wins" rule. Her 2017-2021 title runs, where she was flipping belts like pancakes, made the championships feel less special. Meanwhile, someone like Rhea Ripley or Io Shirai builds epic reigns with real stakes. Charlotte's always in the main event, even after a loss, while talents like Nikki Cross or Shayna Baszler get stuck in limbo. It's frustrating! She's talented, no cap--her Survivor Series match with Ronda Rousey was a banger--but talent shouldn't mean you get a free pass to hog the spotlight. Imagine if WWE gave Asuka or Liv half her shots. Fans want champs who feel like they fought for it, not ones handed a crown because of their last name.Charlotte's got the skills, the look, the athleticism from her volleyball days, all that. She can play heel or face and steal the show. But her whole "Queen" shtick and those endless title reigns feel like WWE's forcing her on us to make her the next Ric Flair. That's not her fault, but it's why her championships don't hit the same. We want stars who rise through grit, not a family name. Give me Bayley's heart or Becky's fire over a corporate-chosen Flair any day."

The failings of Elizebeth Taylor as a wife does not take away from her greatness as a Hollywood superstar, and Charlotte's failings does not detract from her wrestling superstardom either."

On her day she is capable of great matches and I could justify her as a solid 8 based on ring work but there is so much to unpack with Charlotte Flair and most, unfortunately, is rather negative. Great look for the most part but bland repetitive character work and personality that has not changed much in my years of watching. Overpushed, absurdly inflated number of world title wins, solely the result of artificially getting her towards her father's organic number for story purposes. Not good at promos on the whole, botches a lot (I have never seen her hit Andrade's double moonsault successfully), can't control her emotions well as seen in heated promos of late but also in matches when things don't go her way (Nia Jax match but also things like Kairi Sane's concussion years ago). Has a whole system behind her to make sure she looks better in the ring than any other woman on the roster, under Vince at least. To truly emulate the legacy and impact of Ric on the business I truly believe she should do as he did and work elsewhere for a time at least. Other than that, her career could be freshened up massively by doing what is just ridiculously obvious to me, give her a top, interesting and lengthy run as leader of an ACTUAL Four Horsewomen heel faction! Seriously, why have they never done this?"

[10.0] "I'm giving her a 10 because I can't believe the shit I'm reading online from "wrestling fans". What the fuck is wrong with people? It's always the same thing, her plastic surgery, as if 90% of all male wrestlers aren't shooting steroids into themselves to look jacked. Her failed marriage, as if the wrestling world is a beacon of righteousness and no wrestler ever has had a toxic relationship... Yeah right, Steve Austin had 3 divorces and nobody talks about it. You can hate the character but please stop thinking it's all her, there's dozens of writers and producers creating this show. Funny how everyone always turns to vitriolic comments about women the second it's not aligned with what THEY want as a character but when it's men they don't say nothing. I like Charlotte, maybe you should too."

[4.0] "Good wrestler in ring, but it's always been her character that is the issue for me. She can cut good promos as a face, but her character is boring. However, as a heel, it's the opposite: good character but bad promos. She's gonna need to fix that very soon to convince me that she should break the World Title Reigns record. At this point, I truly don't think she should (or needs to) hold a world title ever again. She needs improvement, but I have a strong feeling that her best days are not ahead of us, but rather in the rear view mirror."

[1.0] "A....mixed bag. That's why she's in the middle. I never liked her in the ring, but I can't deny she can get a good match when she's motivated. I don't know if she has a say in her terrible booking or psychology, but I believe she does. That's why I'm lowering a 6 to a 5. Edit 2025: oh my God, she got so much worse lately, and she's still pushed to the moon despite now there are EVEN MORE wrestlers miles ahead of her. It's like 2025 Chris Jericho if Chris couldn't talk. This is horrible. I just want her to win and pass Flair's record so she can retire and never be seen again. She's incapable of doing a promo, every single feud she's had since...2016? She's always been second place, she's never made me interested in anything, she almost killed Kairi Sane at TLC 2019 and she buried so many wrestlers it's not even funny. At least Nia loses some of her matches despite falling in the nepotism category."

[6.0] "An awesome wrestler when put in good conditions. Unfortunately hampered by erratic motivation and always being booked too strong too soon when she comes back. EDIT : Lowering my note, seeing how Charlotte didn't learn her lesson and still struggles to win an audience over. A wrestler with her experience should be able to face an hostile crowd."

[4.0] "My least favorite of the 4horsewomen. I like Becky & Mercedes a lot, and even though Bayley for me has taken a good bit of a fall-off I like watching her old matches and can confidently say I did like her at one point. Although, I cannot say the same for Charlotte. She's very boring in the ring to me, does nothing really of note and has nothing going for her outside of submission holds (in fairness that goes for almost all the horsewomen). She really can only work one gimmick and anytime she strays from that gimmick it's incredibly boring and her weaknesses get shown even more. Her mic-work is dull outside of that said gimmick too. I respect her in the sense of she was one of the leading women in the west's women's revolution, but she is easily the weakest and least entertaining of the 4horsewomen to me."

[5.0] "I'm not a big fan of her. She has good in ring work and solid promo skills but definitely has the issue of politicing too much to give herself greatness instead of putting others over. Everything else about Charlotte's fine, but her character definitely needs work."

[2.0] "I have never, nor do I think I ever will, understand the hype that's behind Charlotte. She is a textbook example of using her name to get her to this point. Had she not had the last name of Flair, she wouldn't have had anywhere near the level of success that she's been enjoying for the last however long. No one has ever came out of a feud with her better off, Toni Storm quit the company because of how horrid she was being portrayed in that feud. Now they're going to feed Tiffany Stratton to her to help pad her record and give her yet another title run. Dud. Absolute dud."

[10.0] "When locked in, she's like the greatest women's wrestler in North America to ever do it, or least one of them.That's how great she is. I definitely had some reservations with her the last year before she got hurt just cause I wanted to see her in more meaningful non title feuds, but she's a flair at the end of the day, why wouldn't she be wanting to chase gold all the time. It's still early in her comeback but I just want Charlotte to display more range when it comes to her character. All her fellow horsewomen have managed to do this except her. Why is that"

[9.0] "Charlotte Flair is a fantastic worker, consistently puts on great matches and is particularly excellent as a heel. I nearly always enjoy seeing Charlotte Flair work."

[4.0] "I can't lie, I'm not that huge on Charlotte Flair. Sure she is a great wrestler. But she is also such a bore to watch. Her character is lacking to say the least and her promo skills are abysmal. I don't care for her work personally. I will praise her for her wrestling skills. From what I have seen, she is great. There is no denying that. But from what I have seen of her promo wise and character wise, she is just lacking in every sort of way. But who am I to say. I'm just a random wrestling fan and I know a lot of people do enjoy her work. But I'm not big on it personally."

[2.0] "I really didn't like her as a character. She considers herself the best, although it's true that she's one of the most important wrestlers in WWE at the moment. I also didn't like it when she destroyed Lilly Doll Alexa Bliss during their Extreme Rules match in 2021. Of course, she can give quite satisfactory and well-played matches, as well as story-driven matches, but as a whole character, she's overrated in my opinion. Of course, I won't give her 0/10, because she has skills and it's not about bringing her down, but I prefer people with a smaller ego top and people like Becky Lynch, whose return I'm still waiting for, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair or Alexa Bliss, whom I've already mentioned. I think Charlotte should improve as a character, but that's just my opinion, which many people disagree with. She shouldn't be arrogant like she's been doing for a long time. 2/10"

[5.0] "I dont get all the 10s for Charlotte. She is a good wrestler and confident on the mic but with a gimmick that didnt evolve for the past 10 years... She also never helps any talent she gets involved with (from Asukas streak to destroying Dana Brooke's credibility, from beating Rhea and Bianca in NXT...). If anything she hurts them. The only person i remember she put over was Carmella when she cashed in. With that being said, she is no Becky Lynch. Becky always reinvents herself upon a return. And actually helps build the new stars. Charlotte comes in gets the title just because, everybody gets tired of her and has to lose it in couple of months, adding another meaningless reign to her record. Five because she is a good worker but i wish she would retire, I have no desire to see her on my TV again."

[5.0] "I'm going to be honest... Charlotte Flair is decent at best. She is not a good talker and when it comes to the wrestling department. She's not even good at that. Her natural selection finisher doesn't look impactful and it looks terrible. The only things she really has going for her is her moonsault. Not to mention her last name. That's the only reason she is in the position she has in WWE... Is because of her Daddy. Her championship reigns also mean absolutely nothing as well. She is only winning those titles. So they can tie her with Ric. They may even have her be the one that beats his record. Something she doesn't even deserve."

[9.0] "Love her, or hate her, it is completely objective that she was part of the driving force in the 2010s that made Women's wrestling a mainstay in the entire business. Her in-ring work is at a very high level with matches like against Rhea at WM39, Becky at Evolution, Becky AND Sasha at WM 32, and the 2023 WarGames match. She has now won 2 Royal Rumbles with her near record 14 world championship reigns. Her heel work is 1000% better than her a face and I hope her return is with as her as a heel. Her promo today on her return episode was her getting booed and her goading the crowd on. Her promo work as a heel can also cut really deep."

[2.0] "Overrated and overpushed. The division always suffers when she's around because Vince and Triple H are obsessed with giving her absolutely every accolade while up and comers get nothing. Despite the monster push, 13 world titles, and standing on her father's legacy, she still isn't even one of the Top 3 biggest stars in the women's division CURRENTLY. She's definitely not a bigger star than Becky, Bianca, Rhea, Alexa, and they only had just a fraction of the push she's gotten. Even in the ring she is overrated, she only has good matches with people who are on her level or higher but she has pretty bad matches with women outside of that unlike Bayley, Asuka, Iyo, Becky, and Mercedes who can actually carry others. And for someone who spends so much time in the women's title picture thus getting consistent ample amounts of time to wrestle on PPV, she should have a much higher ratio of good matches than everyone else. There is no reason why she should be looked at as better in the ring than them and more."

[6.0] "Decent but overrated and IMO coasts on her father's legacy too much. Would have been nice to see an NXT star win the Royal Rumble instead of more cronyism... not to mention there were many more deserving stars like Nia Jax, Bianca Belair, Natalya, etc."

[4.0] "Charlotte is a very capable in-ring wrestler and has certainly a presentation. But she's not THAT woman that WWE is desperately trying to make out of her. She's not the most charismatic, she's not the best talker (she's even quite a dull talker, becoming more and more a caricature of herself, spamming lines like "I don't give opportunities, I am the opportunity") and she's quite a poor character worker (her character could be resumed by her accolades and her name). What is worse is that she's not only pushed the same way Big Dog Roman was pushed, but even when WWE has definitely seen that she works better as a heel they still try desperately to book her as the top babyface, even by cutting the roots for every over potential top babyfaces (Becky Lynch must be thankful that the crowd turn hard on Charlotte in 2018 or she'll be in the same place that Bayley or even Naomi is now ...). People might say that she deserve that push because of her in-ring work, and though that might be a reasonable argument in the 2015-18 period, it's definitely not the case anymore. Since the pandemic, Charlotte has clearly shown that she doesn't care for her matches and her programs most of the time (the 2023 feud with Bianca, Asuka and Io was clearly showing how disinterrested Charlotte was) and a lot of the women in that division are actually more consistent in delivering top matches than her nowadays (look at the ratings of her matches on this site. Since 2021, Bianca has 7 matches with a rating of 8.0 or more, Becky has 8, Charlotte only 2...). I still think that Charlotte could be an asset to the women's division, but actually she's not, and hasn't been for quite a long time. 4/10."
