Amazing wrestler with more personality than being given credit for by the masses. His later matches could be more dull but talent is recognized in him from countless angles. One of the last guys you'd wish or want to legitimately fight"

He had the size, strength, speed and athleticism to back up his look, and he was able to become a top guy pretty quickly. His first WWE run had some great moments, especially his matches with Kurt Angle and Undertaker and I think his ability to come across as a legit badass is a big reason why he has stayed so popular over the years."

What the fuck, man? ! That's a goat? He is in the conversation for best ever? ! Do we hear ourselves? ! Watch ONE literally ANY ONE of those matches and you'll see how bad he fucks up when asked to orchestrate all his own. Dude has no mind for this game, technical prowess? Yeah man. Athletic? Far more than I"ll ever be, yeah man. But he isn't a good conductor. He isn't a good ring partner. He isn't a good promo. He killed Kofimania. He made the product unwatchable for years. Years. He maybe probably really hurt that woman man. I don't think I've ever given a 0 before but hell I had to reserve it for somebody. This hack can have it. Fucking zero, waste of a roster spot."

A super freak athlete who never lost his athleticism even into the later stages of his career. Headlined as the next big thing and for proper reason, so many men have tried to be the next Brock Lesnar and so many have failed. An 11 times world champion and 1 time UFC champion he was always credible as the top guy no matter what he did. Brock has instant classics for days, and although he was never prominent on the microphone, he was always great at making what he said sound real. You believed he was wrestling to kill every time he stepped in the ring. My only real complaint about Brock was his style got somewhat formulaic after 2016, but he was still able to churn out classics. One of the greats, who was a certified main eventer almost any way you put it, 9/10"

He was a star from the very moment he debuted until he retired, there was never a point where he wasn't anything other than that. His real life credentials have made him even bigger than he was when he was initially in the WWE. He's a damn good wrestler, and his mic work did improve a lot compared to what it was like during the early 2000s. He's had legitimate classic matches throughout the years with all the top names. You couldn't really ask for anything more from a performer. He ended his career on a high by putting over Oba Femi and just going out quietly instead of making a bit spectacle out of it."

He was issued win after win after win throughout the tumultuous later 2010's days to the joy of nobody. He always needed Heyman because his mic work was never that great, which is a weird thing to need for someone this renouned and loved. I'd comment about the IRL troubles but this is a wrestling reviewing website and to even comment on them is against website rules anyway. He rocked in the early 2000's."

He never did anything good for this business. Not a big surprise that he was considered (or still is, by some) a great wrestler by people backstage and fans of this disgusting company. I really don't understand how he can have such a high rating for how bad he was. People here has spiked the ratings (rightfully so) of wrestlers who did terrible things, but not him. He was so close with Vince he may as well just be him."

Every time I see someone mentioning how good one of his match was, it's just because his opponent was giving all they had to beat him. The proof is that his WM38 against Roman was boring because both wrestler spammed finisher, it's what you get when you do the only 3 moves that you know. I must add that despite spamming the same moves for 14 years now, he still manages to hurt his opponents while doing his moveset. I come now later to the realization that I forgot to mention how controversial his all round career was and that the Royal Rumble 2022 would've been way better without him. He stole so many spotlights for other better and more interesting matches, that I can't with all honesty put him any higher."

As a worker, he's not just dumb muscle and does have a keen mind for what's worth working and what's not, but the problem is, is that he was so ingratiated with Vince (to the point of near-downfall with his involvement in the Janel Grant case; sorry, but "he isn't the one on trial" butters no parsnips when the text of the lawsuit alleges the fully intent to do serious wrongdoing on his part) that he often phoned it in regardless. This is especially evident in the later stages of his career, when the guarantee of a monster push regardless led to boring, cooker-cutter matches. But as much as I think of him as a worker, I absolutely despite what Lesnar has come to represent. He should never have come back after Vince's downfall. Because it stains the reputation of him, of Triple H, and of the WWE, and more than anything, he represents the heinous dumpster fire that is WWE corporate culture, and their belief that they can get away with anything."

[9.0] "Brock wasn't one of the most active wrestlers throughout his journey, and he only has 2-3 years of a truly full time career, but even though this is a disadvantage, he's awesome... one of the best at being dominant and just brutalizing his opponent, Brock is one of wrestling's most hypnotic attractions, and that's the way he was presented all the time, as a dominant and imposing superstar, a conqueror. Lesnar for sure have a pretty eye-catching physique, and he's a phenomenal athlete, the beast nickname is totally worth it because he's a freak, it's unreal how fast he moves and how privileged he is athletically. His performances almost always rely on strength and domination, and he's great at combining the factors of being simply one of the coolest wrestlers to watch brutalizing someone, like WALTER or Joe, and also at being a very special must-watch attraction, like Andre for example. His matches are very unique, specially after his return, where he became a prizefighter and brought a lot of MMA-based stuff into his arsenal, and several Brock matches feel real, like a real competition, because of the way he portrays himself. I love watching Brock and his matches, his best stuff is really good, but of course there are some inconsistencies, which is normal. The period outside of wrestling is a factor, but he definitely came back better, and had better matches. The first run is great, but he still wasn't fully there in terms of character work, and the babyface run is kinda weird, but overall his first tenure is a pretty cool run, that was unfortunately cut short. I see Lesnar as a guy that works well against big and small opponents, he's very versatile in this aspect, and he has great matches against totally different workers, which is again, something very positive."

[3.0] "Thank you Brock? For what? What has Brock Lesnar done in his pro-wrestling career to deserve this level of acclaim besides looking big and having a cool entrance theme? Sure, he had a strong rookie run in WWE, and then he had an all time stinker at Wrestlemania XX and left for the NFL. After a whopping three preseason games he went to Japan, sucked so bad he made shinsuke nakamura cry, and quite literally stole the IWGP heavyweight championship on his way out, then went to the UFC, and when he couldn't do that anymore he returned to WWE as a part timer. If youve been keeping score that means he spent a grand total of two years as an active full time wrestler. You could argue he's had some classics since returning, against CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles, but you'll find that the common denominator here is that these are three of the best wrestlers of all time. Everything else has been mediocre to outright bad, both booking and match quality wise. Half of the three matches he had on any given year were sub 5 minutes squashes, and the other were boring signature/finisher spams that usually got booed out of the arena. Not to mention his all time bad mic skills or, crucially, the several allegations levied against him which people like to pretend don't exist."

[2.0] "Yes. Thank you, Brock for...getting everything handed to you once you got out of OVW? Then left anyway because you don't know how contracts work? He had a nice run as a rookie and then left for 8 years. Since 2012 he's been part time with a good match here or there but after 2015 the good matches have been very few and far between. Since 2018 almost every match he's had was shit, including his last one. He actually bumps and sells really well but could never cut a promo for shit and the longer his career went, the worse his matches got. It became a 5 minutes or less finisher spam which meant seeing him and his opponent do the same two or three moves and kicking out of them. You know what that is? That's lazy."

He is mostly disengaged and unwilling to elevate the match to give a good show for the fans. His repeated part-time championship reigns devalued the credibility of the championship titles he held, treating championship belts as accessories to make him look good rather than symbols of credible excellence and competition. He will always be remembered as a detrimental figure who damaged the prestige of titles and the overall product quality, embodying the worst aspects of part-time stardom and selective effort over consistent contribution to the wrestling business. His legacy will be remembered as one of squandered potential and self-serving dominance that prioritizes money over entertainment."

This man has brought shame to professional wrestling ever since his first departure from WWE (after that WM stinker) Brought shame to NJPW, won gold in the UFC just to lose it right back, goes back to WWE, wrestles 5 matches a year (95% of them bad besides his matches with AJ, Danielson, Punk, and triple threat with Rollins and Cena) All he does is spam the same suplexes, there's nothing wrong with having a small moveset as long as you have the psychology to go along with it but he just doesn't, he does NOT have good matches unless he is getting carried. How dare he break the undertaker streak? What a dumb move, this man was overbooked by Vince because he was juiced up and was (allegedly) doing some strange things with him too. Terrible wrestler."

[9.0] "Brock Lesnar has had an incredible career. His rise in 2002 was something special. WWE strapping a rocket to a guy that young and actually pulling it off. He immediately felt like a huge star. The look, the presence, the athleticism. Everything was there. For a big man, his offense was insane, and he could actually sell and move in a way most guys his size never could. His 02-04 run is one of my personal favorites. So many great matches, and it really sucked seeing him burn out and leave the business so early. When he came back in 2012, he completely reinvented his style, and to his credit, it worked. He leaned into the aura, the dominance, and became a legitimate attraction. He was a massive draw and always felt like a big deal whenever he showed up. That said, from around 2015 onward, his matches started to feel way too formulaic. Just suplex spam and F5 spam over and over. It was over, but it got repetitive. Promos were never his strong point, but they were serviceable, and pairing him with Paul Heyman obviously helped elevate everything. Unfortunately, the Vince McMahon Janel Grant lawsuit connection does cast a shadow over things and leaves a stain on an otherwise excellent career."

I haven't always been able to appreciate his work (especially when he was a part-time champion), but now I can appreciate all the good things he did. The first time I saw Brock was in 2015, and I enjoyed watching him come in and destroy Seth Rollins and The Authority (where Seth was my N°1 enemy). Brock always faced the best of the best in every era he was in: Triple H, Kurt Angle, John Cena, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, The Undertaker, CM Punk, and I could go on all day. Suplex here, F5 there, here's your victory, see you in three months. The few matches of him that I've enjoyed, much like his promo work, was heavily carried by his opponent(s). As a casual fan, I was in group 1, but as I've learned more about Brock Lesnar's controversies both inside and outside the ring, I'm more inclined to be in group 2. He obviously has a lot of legendary moments, and arguably some legendary matches too. I think a lot of it gets soured when you think about how much his booking got in the way of the quality of the WWE product, especially in the late 2010's. I also just don't think his in-ring work and character work is good enough to clear the stink of his controversies."

He gave Cena his worst feud and match of the year, and hurt the royal rumble match by no selling what should be brutal chops. He's constantly in the main event and refuses to put over people that he doesn't think is a 10/10. WWE needs to stop relying on him and build new stars. Let's just put it this way, look up the number of performers Brock has injured. It's practically everyone he's ever worked with. He broke Kurt Angle's neck multiple times, he concussed The Undertaker, the list literally goes on and on. And why? Because Brock is a dangerous worker who cares nothing for his fellow performer or for wrestling, so he is perpetually rusty because he never works matches unless he's getting a multi-million dollar pay day to main event a PPV. When he does wrestle, it can be said that having 5 moves of doom would be an upgrade for Lesnar. He barely scratches 2. German suplex, German Suplex, F-5, F-5, pin, 1-2-3 and people somehow cheer for this embarrassment. His matches can barely be called matches. What about his title reigns? They are even more of a joke. They could more accurately be called title hostage situations. If Brock wins the world title, kiss that baby goodbye for at least 6 months. If that isn't bad enough, Brock is a complete and utter charisma vacuum. He can't talk, or more accurately he doesn't want to because again, he doesn't care. He just stands there and has someone else do the talking for him. Without Paul Heyman Lesnar would be a -1 instead of a 0. People say Lesnar has a great look. Well after 20 years of having the same look, it's old so not even that inspires any sort of emotion. Simply put Lesnar is a cancer upon wrestling who has only taken and never given a single thing back to the art form, unless handing out concussions and broken bones counts as giving back. Oh, and did I mention the man is credibly accused of sex trafficking? So everything negative I said about him as a performer goes double for him as a human being. WWE should have completely cut ties with him, but it says a lot about their leadership and company culture that they still drag this scumbag hack out to do the same tired crap and think nothing of it."

Normally, he was a very boring character). ANGLE: 6 GRUDGE: 3 (Most of his feuds got to the point of channel-change interest) ELOCUTION: 1 (One of the worst speakers to ever be a consistent WrestleMania main event act) That would really be a score of 47.5%, but you have to account for his overall impact and influence, which drops him down to a 3. I truly believe professional wrestling would have been better off if he never got involved in it. His selfishness in his matches and storylines and feuds served to mostly to keep himself over, and he was very poor at creating new stars or elevating opponents. All of that taken into context, and then you consider his involvement with the scummy sex offender Vince McMahon, and his anti-LGBT views and comments shared in national media outlets in the past, and a 3/10 might be very generous. Brock Lesnar has been a poison for wrestling. His greatest value for me was watching him get squashed by Goldberg at Survivor Series 2016."

His entire presentation feels one-dimensional: show up rarely, destroy someone in a few minutes, disappear for months, then repeat. I genuinely don't see what he brings to the table in the big 2026. How is he even still employed..."

Nevertheless, while his wrestling style is extremely basic he does manage to continue to be entertaining at times and when motivated and evidently enjoying himself is pretty fun to watch."

But do his in-ring skills justify such a grade? Then again, should we even demand acrobatics and technical wrestling from this type of character?"

That being said, he has been insufferable to watch for over a decade now, not even factoring in the lawsuit he's currently a part of. The entire 4 points he gets comes from his early 2000s run and not the trash he's pumped out since. I still can't believe the amount that WWE commits to this guy."

[9.0] "Brock is an interesting character to evaluate. Obviously recently controversies linger over him, but I'm more interested in evaluating the wrestler in this instance. Arguably the freakiest athlete to ever step foot in a wrestling ring, he was box office the minute he showed up. Massive and explosive in his 6'3" 290 pound frame with an NCAA wrestling background to build on, there's no one like him, let alone that can move like him. His early career is fantastic, and sometimes I wish we could've seen what would have happened had he not gone to UFC. The 60-minute Ironman with Kurt Angle is an all timer and maybe the best Smackdown match of all time. His finisher is pretty unique, and one of my favorites. Upon his return from UFC, he was booked as an absolute monster. His part time nature as champion bothered a lot of people and I get that. Some of the squashes he was booked in and the way they were sequenced could admittedly be boring. But during that run we saw what could happen if someone pushed him to be great in a match. He has great work with Styles, Rollins, Cena, Roman, Danielson (Daniel Bryan), and Punk during that run which showed how capable he always has been when given the space to perform and not just smash things. Undoubtedly one of the best of his generation. Hoping his final run here allows him to put some guys like Gunther, Bron Breakker, Oba Femi, Bronson Reed, and/or Jacob Fatu over while hopefully having enough left in the tank to make those matches good."

It was always smart to give him Paul Heyman as a mouthpiece as his promos were nearly as worse as Ricochet. You may like him or hate him but when that theme plays the crowd absolutely love it - always good crowd interaction."
