She said it herself when she was in aew her heart was not in it because she's a wwe girl. As for when she came back, she was tag team champions. Being in a tag team does not really show your skills as you can only land 2/3 moves in a match. Now that she's back as a singles, its been extremely good so far. And a side note, everything he said is false. Paige was not confirmed for wrestlemania until 1 day before the event. She replaced Nikki Bella as Nikki got injured."

[0.0] "Since coming back from injury she's been a parody of herself. She seemed like she forgot how to wrestle and hurt the AEW women's division badly. I haven't seen a good performance from her in years and honestly, it's just so unfortunate. She held back the women's division for over a year, it's going to be the same for WWE. Since returning, she has looked slow and uncoordinated as I expected. Her AEW run was pretty damn terrible, but my god it seems that she looks even worse here. She is not needed at all in 2026. Putting so many top talent in the women's tag division just for her to get the WrestleMania moment is hilarious."

Her AEW run was mediocre and frankly a flop, Toni outshined her in every aspect, and now she's back at WWE to make couple of quick bucks before they let her go again. At least she's in the tag titles picture where I can tolerate her. She should be used to put new women over and that's it."

Paige and the Bella Twins can only go so far now."

Her best matches are literally Emma in nxt and Sasha banks on the main roster. Anything else is not even coming close. Like her run in AEW was terrible and they made her champion. WWE made her tag champion on first night back and Brie Bella wrestling better than her."

[3.0] "One of the most overhyped wrestlers in recent memory. Looking back, she was never exactly anything special and only got a pass because, mostly, everyone else around her were worse. Her runs in both companies have been and were incredibly underwhelming and she has been far, far surpassed by so many wrestlers."

[2.0] "I went back and rewatched some of Paige's matches from 2013-14 to make sure I wasn't going to be too harsh. I'm not. She was never that good. Couldn't really bump, selling was ok, offense looked like shit, decent finisher, shit on the mic. The perception of her being great is only because the women's division at the time was terrible. She was exposed in AEW where it was crystal clear the lack of previous skill and injuries were too much. Since returning to WWE in 2026 she's put on one horrible performance after another."

[7.0] "I mean her return is cool and all, but like, she still moves like she's in AEW. In her defense, she didn't she was going to be wrestling in AEW, she was more so retired at the time so her ring work was sloppy all around so i'll give her some slack."

[5.0] "Saraya/Paige is a good wrestler for her time, if you only ever watched anything but wwe. The reality is when she returned the abilities of the in ring workers had past her by miles. As she limped along. I don't think she is a bad wrestler by any stretch but wrestling has since changed past the rest holds and three big moves."

[4.0] "Truth be told, Paige is just an okay-ish talent who got over in a landscape that has long been surpassed. She made her name during the early days of WWE's women's revolution when women's wrestling in North America was well behind what it is today, and she shined during a much more rudimentary era when not as much was expected of you. I feel the same way about AJ Lee, wrestlers that if they came along today really wouldn't make waves at all but back when were getting started, they were better than putrid Bella Twins and Kelly Kelly, so by comparison they looked like Manami Toyota. Paige has a good look, she stands out just slightly above more generic talent. And she's capable of showing emotion on the mic at times. But outside of that, nothing about her is above average. She is a very basic worker who's sloppiness can ruin her matches frequently. I'm happy for her that she's back in WWE where they can hide her and focus on her sports entertainment ability, but as a wrestler her AEW run exposed her. And I do find it funny she commented something to the extent of "losing her passion for wrestling" in AEW. It's the Rusev effect, someone who is used to an audience that doesn't demand greatness from them suddenly finds themselves somewhere their hands won't be held, and they actually have to grind and work their butt off to get over, and they instead blame the company or the fans. Paige is a fairly okay for a WWE soap opera talent, but in the modern landscape of women's wrestling she looks outdated and underwhelming."

[10.0] "I think Paige is an absolute legend, while not as good in the ring as she was before, she once had such in-ring prowess. Nowadays her promo's are just as amazing, she's a great babyface, and an incredible heel. So glad she's back with WWE, and I hope she has some more success! Go Paige!"

[3.0] "A solid 6/10 in her prime, 0/10 awful right now. She used to be able to produce some solid stuff, and was a good promo iirc. Now though, maybe due to injuries, she moves slowly and her offense looks weak."

[3.0] "Not many wrestlers have benefitted from privilege, luck, revisionist history, and being in the right place at the right time more than Saraya has; Like seriously, She has been handed so much *undeservedly* on a silver platter and there are quite a few wrestlers in the business that have as well. At one point in her career, she was destined to be the "next big thing" in women's wrestling as society was changing and starting to accept women's sports more, which leads me to the elephant-in-the-room point, which is the *false narrative* of Saraya single-handedly paving the way for all women's wrestlers, this was made mainstream with the 2019 Propaganda film "Fighting With My Family", which unfortunately conditioned many wrestling fans and non-wrestling fans for that matter into believing that Paige "changed women's wrestling" (even though in reality, women's wrestling would have changed for the better regardless of whether she was there or not). The film also of course fallaciously portrayed her and her family as "heroes" and "underdogs" (LMFAO fuck off with that bullshit) but I digress. Paige was considered a big name for a while, but eventually, most wrestling fans saw the light and realized that there were so many women that were coming up to the main roster and in the NXT pipeline that were going to surpass her and they did, so her crowd reactions became less favorable and she eventually found her way to jobber shows like Main Event and Superstars. 2 major neck injuries did take a toll on her health and in-ring ability but she wasn't exactly improving much in the ring before all of these injuries crashed her career, one of which WWE was not adamant on clearing her ever again. Eventually, she spent a few months in 2018 and 2019 doing on-screen non-wrestling roles and they weren't all noteworthy and still aren't today. I would have given her a 5 if she had just stayed on the bench but no, she came back to wrestling in AEW and while it was a feel-good thing for her she came back to the ring after the devastating injury, oh dear.. was that AEW run awful. A lot of revisionist bullshit has been going around about how she's "responsible" for the women's division in AEW "getting better" and how without her, Timeless Toni Storm wouldn't be a thing *which is just incorrect*. Speaking of the AEW run, Where do I start? The Outcasts, The terrible Britt feud, being overshadowed by two of AEW's most popular acts in Timeless Toni Storm and Harley Cameron, and of course, dragging the division down to her level. Of course that wasn't the worst of all though, because TK would make the WORST decision in his company's history by putting the world belt on her at their biggest show so far, what a disgrace and the moment was awful too with the glorification of the Knight/Bevis family which almost feels like a crime, but I've already gotten into my feelings elsewhere on it so I won't dwell on this any further. For weeks as the champion, she managed to drag the division down so much with her awful wrestling and ridiculous social media behavior, and speaking of the latter; in the last few years, Saraya has exposed herself as a complete carny nutjob on social media, defending her (at the time) scumbag boyfriend and continuing to argue with a bunch of nobodies. I mean, it shouldn't be any surprise to anyone that she is chronically online, and has made that her whole entire identity, these days, Saraya is no longer employed with AEW but she has been doing performative grandstanding with her Podcast and Book to get her reputation "repaired" that she managed to taint over the last 10 years by simply being a problematic person; YES, It's understandable that she had a rough upbringing, but that should *NOT* be an excuse anymore as she's a grown adult and I find it ridiculous how much infantilization she receives over this. In case you're wondering, my 3-point rating isn't impacted by her well-documented personal issues and scandals, it may have not have overshadowed her career yet, but it has damaged her reputation permanently and rightfully so. At the end of the day, there are ZERO good Knight Family members both personally and professionally, and Saraya isn't and never will be an exemption from that; In fact, One Redditor perfectly summed up Saraya and her entire family; "Paige and her family are complete low class Carnies. She just happened to make it big. You can take the girl out of the carnival but you aren't getting the carnival out of the girl.", perfectly put."

[7.0] "Putting aside the sad downfall of Saraya / Paige post the initial career ending injury I will rather choose to remember her initial run in WWE, where she was without a doubt not arguably one of the biggest stars at a time. She made her main roster debut by winning the Womans title from AJ Lee, and in modern day the initial titles back then is not much of a big deal and has been outshined by the newer versions which allowed "Divas" to actually be called woman and shine throughout. But back then and even still now one has to consider AJ Lee was a massive deal at the time, being the main star of the womans division till Saraya came in. Also in general I do think Paige had a good career, and does suffer from poor choices she chose to make outside of the company which modern day is probably more famous than her WWE run and also she got very unlucky being struck with a massive injury in her prime. If you ever want to see any proof of what a big deal she really was at a time just go watch her AEW debut. The crowd went nuts, and I dont know what exactly happened between her and AEW but unfortunately it didnt live up to the initial hype her debut created. I do however think she still has to be regarded and rated accordinly which is why its only a 7 in hindsight , a few years ago we wouldve been in 9/10 territory."

[7.0] "Saraya was a game-changer in the WWE women's division during the Divas era, bringing in-ring credibility and edge when it was badly needed. Her early NXT and main roster run had star quality and legit wrestling skills, which made her stand out instantly. Unfortunately, injuries cut her in-ring WWE career short, and while her AEW return was a big deal, her in-ring work since coming back has been inconsistent and slower-paced. She's still a great talker with presence, but the matches haven't always delivered at the level fans expected. Still, you can't overlook her influence and legacy--she helped spark the Women's Revolution."

A 4/10 is listed as "adequate" in Cagematch, which I feel perfectly encapsulates her abilities as a wrestler."

Fans have been disappointed to see how boring she's been ever since arriving, because, believe it or not, she was pegged to be a "game-changing" sign when she first came in. However, I think you can turn this around by putting more spotlight on the great work she's been doing with Harley Cameron. (Ya' know, like putting them on DYNAMITE! )"

[3.0] "She should just stop, i loved some of her matches and run but the rust is too much inked in that she can't get it away. Her as a annoying heel manager ? Ok-tier so that's shy she will not get below 3. Don't get her a mic for too long she can do ok with a pretaped backstage promo but below ok if it's in front of a crowd even more if it's a very hostile one."

[4.0] "The reason why she was liked so much back in WWE was because when the womens division was in the trenches and their sex appeal was more important than wrestling ability, she was one of the few that could actually wrestle. Since coming to AEW, I think everyone can admit that she is horrendous. The women in both AEW and WWE now are way too talented and she just cant keep up. I watched her match against Toni and it was embarrassing to say the least, she is slow and sloppy. And her unproblematic icon gimmick is cringe, her promos are dreadful and her home country doesnt even like her."

[4.0] "The years have passed Saraya by, to put it lightly. Once upon a time she was one of the best wrestlers in the female WWE locker room, however a decade later in a much different environment she just seems out of place in terms of ability when you look at her name next to AEW Women's World Championship contemporaries like Shida, Storm, Rosa, and Hayter."

[3.0] "I hate to say it, but Saraya is just really quite shit nowadays. The only reason she was pushed was because in an era of divas, she was an above average wrestler in an era where most women were either not given enough time to show what they could do or were completely shit. Saraya has coasted on that for her entire AEW run and it has led to her being an AEW world champion and a wrestler who in a roster of some of the best in the world sticks out like a sore thumb. It doesnt help that she is trying to do a meta gimmick with the unproblematic icon gimmick, which only furthers her descent into mediocrity and honestly one of the worst parts of the current AEW roster due to the fact that she takes undeserving TV time away from talent who could absolutely upstage her such as Queen Aminata, Hikaru Shida and Yuka Sakazaki."

[5.0] "Mannnnn, this one hurts. Paige is not only beautiful, but also projects a tough girl personality pretty good, also considering the type of environment she was born from. If you ever talked to me about WWE Divas in 2014-2016, Paige was the first in mind. Her theme was a banger, her storylines were a banger, and well, she had it all, but unfortunately, Sasha Banks ended her career using her two feet and she was going through hard times after that sex tape, and also considering the fact that Alberto Del Rio was being a horrible figure in her life. Once she popped up in AEW, expectations went through the roof, because she was a badass already in WWE, imagine the much more she could do in AEW. But unfortunately, imagine is all I could do...imagine...because I realized Paige wasn't made for AEW, a place where wrestlers like Willow, Statlander, Toni Storm, Hikaru Shida, Mariah May and Maki Itoh, who are either hard hitters or charismatic stars, are far more bright and capable than Paige, making her look like a baby learning to walk. She was like Punk; she can't keep up with the rest of them, cannot cut promos like she used to and sincerely, what good can she offer as an active competitor? Step aside and be a manager, do it like when you were a judge on Tough Enough; an authority. I hope she sees it through and needs to reborn."

[4.0] "Weak matches, weak promos, weak everything. Why was she given the title year ago? Just because the show was in England? Yikes. Maybe in this year it will be the same? She did absolutley nothing with that win. Worst women's champion in AEW. And the "Outcasts" is really still a thing?"

[4.0] "Listen. I LOVED Paige back in 2015 when I was still a young kid because she brought the babyface fire that every young kid likes in their favourite wrestlers. Therefore, I was pretty sad when she sadly had to retire but I got hyped again when she made her debut in AEW. All of her private stuff with El Patron and her injury just made me want to root for her again but it's just not possible anymore. Everything during this run has been meh at best and borderline awful at the worst. Her stable, her wrestling and her fucking promo battle with Brit Baker being the low-lights of this stuff."

[4.0] "She used to be one of the best western wrestlers in women's wrestling but it's sad to see that her injury really rusted her, she's nowhere near her prime and her matches feel tortuous to watch. Not her fault tho but right now the time she has every week should be for someone else"

[5.0] "It's sad that Saraya's career will always be judged based on her injury only allowing her to show a portion of her talent. It's not an Edge situation where her injury came after she had years of success and great matches. She got a very short time period to show what she can do when healthy in wrestling, and then got an almost career ending injury. What she did do pre injury was largely fine, her Anti-Diva character came at a time when that was a very fresh perspective and gimmick. Her wrestling was generally better than her peers at the time. That said, women's wrestling evolved while Saraya was injured and not only are her peers better than her now, they're better than she ever was. Maybe Saraya would have adapted and grown into a truly exceptional performer, but we'll never know, and now she stands as a nostalgic shadow of what she could have been. Even though she's back and able to wrestle once more, Saraya will always be a what if, and very little more."

[6.0] "Saraya was very good when she first appeared to the world as Paige, she was the antithesis of a whole generation of divas, and started a whole revolution to completely change the industry and how the whole division is treated, but of course, her fellow contemporaries destroyed her when it comes to popularity, accolades and workrate, but it's undeniable that she planted the seeds and played a crucial role for the whole stuff to happen. In her prime she had a lot of charisma, and was always an excellent talker. Of course she's struggling a little now in AEW, but I wonder how it was gonna be if it wasn't for the injuries, because she was pivotal at a very young age, and deserve all the merits for changing women's wrestling in the United States."

[4.0] "She's just not good anymore which sucks like I remember 2015 she was one of my favorite women wrestlers but she hasn't been good in like 7 years she honestly needs to retire from the ring it sucks that she had so much promise and she deserves respect for her part in the women's revolution but yeah she's just not good anymore I don't really know anything about her personal issues I try to avoid learning about that stuff unless it's like really bad impossible to avoid stuff"

[1.0] "This review is very biased because I have a strong personal dislike for Saraya. She came up and stood out as a breath of fresh air in the dying days of the Divas era, but really got gassed up more than she shouldve been. Within 2 years on the main roster, she had to deal with a whole new generation of excellent female performers, which was a bit of a sink or swim situation to see if she could hang with these hot prospects that had all the fan support she once had behind them after only really having the Bellas and AJ Lee to work with for the longest time. Unfortunately, they were almost all better than her in the ring and on the mic, which she almost had negative charisma on most of the time. Sure her career was dogged with injuries, but she just couldnt match the workrate of the horsewomen, and her lack of charisma didnt make up for it, just having a unique look to set herself apart, just look at her time managing Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Her comeback run in AEW has been awful, Ive hated the Outcasts from the start, they just ruin the fun for no reason (which is more the fault of AEW piss poor womens division booking). Im so happy Toni has split from them and taken on the Timeless persona, miles clear of Saraya and Soho. She also has one of the worst title reign and win in recent memory, quite biased on know, but I was there in person and booed over all the cheers. Her immature social media activity and her abhorrent taste in men (Alberto Del Rio and Ronnie Radke can go fuck themselves) makes me hate her even more. Whilst Id give Aj most of the credit, Saraya deserves some praise for her hand in helping usher in the greatest era of womens wrestling in WWEs history. However, she shouldve stayed retired after her neck injury in 2016 and not tried to have a redemption run in AEW. Her Womens Championship reign has to be counted as one of the worst in AEWs history, she also halted the evolving womens division by basically turning it into various tag teams pitted against one another and I wont even get into the dumpster fire that is her Twitter. It seems unfair that tv time is wasted on her when the roster is full of talent, Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Julia Hart"

"Its difficult to judge due to injuries that have effected her in ring work dramatically the last few years but I also find her promos have been difficult to listen to as well. When she originally debuted in WWE she felt like a breath of fresh air but her run in AEW hasn't been anywhere near this."

[3.0] "the fall off is crazy. Saraya during the end of the divas era in wwe was on fire being one of the main babyfaces of NXT and having really good fueds on the main roster. But after injuries and a move from wwe to aew I see her in aew and I just ask myself "what happened here". And now that she holds the gold I am just anticipating for her to lose it already. Ill give it to her that she is really important to women's wrestling but that doesnt make her run in aew any better and i think she is really damaging her legacy by this crap run."
