[10.0] "finally able to rate and immediately i have to come to this page to give bandido a 10. i have only been watching professional wrestling for just over a year and in that time bandido has completely won me over. i bite on every single one of his nearfalls because he is so godly at that most critical of wrestling skills: getting you to believe that he will win even when the odds are against him. he is great as a singles wrestler. he is great with brody king as brodido. he is great in a high-flying multi-man spotfest. he is great in brutal wars of attrition. echoing the sentiments of many here who say he has long outgrown ROH (at least with the way AEW treats ROH) and he deserves singles gold in the dub. at the very least i hope his streak of delivering otherworldly losing performances in AEW PPVs ends soon."

Bandido still has a ton of career left in him but he continues to put on for Mexico in AEW and ROH. Bandido stands as arguably the best luchador in wrestling right now and that is a hard feat to accomplish with many amazing talents in the world of lucha libre."

In an AEW world full of masked lucha guys like Komander, Hechicero, & Dralistico; Bandido is ahead of the pack - but not by all that much. He's strong in the ring & it is impressive when he does a stalling vertical suplex for a solid minute, but he has still largely failed to capture my heart in a way that makes me really want to see him."

[10.0] "It's a very rare case where a wrestler is able to connect with the crowd because they're so good in the ring. I've always liked Bandido but in 2025 he was levels above 98% of every wrestler on the planet. He managed to have a good match with Chris Jericho, and had at least 5 matches that I consider to be a MOTYC. His in ring work has translated into the charisma he's gotten and I love his work with Brody King. I really hopes he becomes AEW world champion eventually."

[10.0] "He's everything you ever want in a wrestler. A great high flyer, charming character, the fans LOVE him, and he can work with pretty much everybody! A perfect face character in this landscape, he was one of the top 10 wrestlers of 2025, and he wasn't 10."

[9.0] "The moment which he end up injured after facing Takeshita at Rampage was pretty damn sad for me. I felt like I was losing a talented old brother. Them he comes back against motherfucking washed up Jericho, had a concussion and them stay off a bit more. When he return...quite had one of the best in ring years I ever saw a wrestler has, Bandido did some incredible performance at multiple promotions, and showed for everyone how big of a star he is. If AEW wants to give to us, latinos, some world champion, I guess he should be the first. Fucking great."

[10.0] "I didn't much about Bandido before, but 2025 is what really made me love him. He's had so many great matches and tag matches with Brody King. I really see him becoming champion in AEW when his ROH title reign comes to an end."

[10.0] "Before 2025, I didn't have the highest opinion of Bandido. I wasn't quite sure what ROH saw in him at the end of the Sinclair era, and thought his return at 2024's Final Battle was embarrassing at best when he accidentally concussed himself. But after making his comeback in early 2025, Bandido seemed deadset on proving to everyone he's pound-for-pound one of the best wrestlers in the world. He beat Chris Jericho for the ROH title in a very solid battle that insanely goes down as his weakest ROH title match. His MOTY contenders against Takeshita and Hechicero proved that he's ready to hang with the best talents in the world. The sky is the limit for Bandido."

[9.0] "Is phenomenal and would be a credible champ across any division in any promotion anywhere. A 5'9 210 lb guy simply shouldn't be able to transition into a one arm press slam. Nor hold someone up in a vertical suplex position for a minute. That backflip Fall Away Slam thing he does is plain ridiculous. Much prefer it to his 21 Plex. He's a star as is, he's got the in ring talent to be one of the best of his generation. And just 30."

[10.0] "Im in love with this guy, i have started watching recently and while i tend to enjoy other promotions like Stardom or Eve, this guy is one of the few that keeps me sitted watching AEW every week, his style, his character, his charisma, he has everything i like in a wrestler and he is also just insanely good, Brodido was a good tag but i really look forward to bandido's run in 2026, i need him holding the world title eventually"

[9.0] "As of this writing, Bandido feels like a surefire WOTY. The amount of depth he has shown throughout the year, to go along with genuine chemistry with literally any opponent he's had is not to be shaken off. Being able to contribute a genuine spark in a thrown together tag team with Brody King, while still consistently checking in amazing television matches weekly, and MOTN contenders each big event he's apart of. His work this year has not been seen from a wrestler in a while now, and even before this year, he was amazing. Had a bit of a stump with his unfortunate injury, and that feud with Jericho, but he's the only person as far as I'm concerned to fully get himself out that vortex and succeed by a country mile. Still very young, we have lots of time to see Bandido develop not only into one of the best wrestlers of this decade, but possibly within Mexico, as well as America."

[9.0] "As of right now Bandido may just be wrestler of the year with the insane performances he has been putting on. He is a very easy babyface to root for and his tag team with Brody King has been a fantastic addition to the tag division. Barring creative mismanagement he should be a key player for AEW moving forward and I become increasingly interested in who he will drop the ROH title to. His defense against Konosuke Takeshita is my personal favorite match of his as of writing."

"Bandido has always been very good, but his last few matches (especially vs Hechicero & vs Takeshita) have put him on the map for a lot of people. He has a great moveset, even tho i do think his finisher is not one of the best but he still makes it look pretty cool. Easily in the top 3 best wrestlers of 2025 and he is only 30 years old and his prime is still to come, so i'm very excited for his future."

Before this year, I'd have confidently placed him at an 8.0--an incredible talent with flashes of brilliance, but just shy of that elite tier. Now? He's upped his game in nearly every aspect. In-ring, Bandido continues to amaze with his trademark explosiveness: that mix of lucha libre flair and raw athletic power makes every match feel like an event. His timing, agility, and strength defy expectations, and his ability to connect with crowds across different countries proves he's not just a flippy guy--he's a storyteller. This year, though, he's shown a level of consistency and versatility that's rare. Whether it's high-profile matches in AEW, standout performances in Japan, or big wins back in Mexico, Bandido feels like a wrestler entering his prime. "Man oh man, where do I even start with Bandido. He has to be probably one of my favorite luchadores who is actively working in the US. The perfect blend of high flying and being a powerhouse, his offense is great, and while I feel the 21 Plex is not the best finisher as it is looks a bit goofy when executed simply because its not allows going to look good, and is really dependent on who his opponent is to make the move look good. Other then that I, I have no other real criticisms of Bandido, cause as I said at the top hes in my top luchadores who work here in the US, been quite sad that his wrist injury has really hurt his status in AEW, because he felt very much like an A Tier level signing, and would love to see him against guys like Mortos, Shelton Benjamin and so on. Loved his matches in ROH with Rush and cant wait for him to return to the ring here in the future."

[9.0] ""Bandido is an amazing wrestler and has put on so many incredible matches like his matches against Will Ospreay, Chris Jericho, and Bryan Danielson. And he has also won world championships for companies like Ring of Honor, and Pro wrestling guerilla where he was the longest reigning champion. Not to him good he is in ring mixing a high flying style and incredible strength for someone 5'7 and 183 lbs. Not to mention I don't think I've ever seen a luchador this well liked, I've never even seen anyone boo him.""

[9.0] "I may be biased, as Bandido for me is currently the only wrestler with such a big Hayabusa vibe who was an amazing wrestler and innovator for his time. It's harder to surprise the sophisticated fan now, wrestling has changed a lot, but Bandido is really good as an in-ring performer, able to show wow-moments, he can sell, which still is a clear problem for luchadores and he has a pretty good feel for the ring, not only showing great moves but I think being able to give the match a tone through his actions and bodywork. I don't know if he'll end up having much success in America (though he has already at least managed to become a world champion in ROH and PWG and signed with AEW), but looking at him, there's something about this guy and I think he could be one of the brightest Mexican stars on the big stage in the long run."

[8.0] "Bandido is an extraordinary wrestler, extremely talented and versatile, he is capable of executing moves of any style of wrestler, he is really good and his matches are extremely fun, because he knows how to play with the crowd and put psychology into the matches. One of the best luchadores in the world right now."

[8.0] "Bandido is a very talented luchador with great charisma, and a great background working for places like AEW, AAA, Impact, NJPW, ROH, MLW, the Crash, etc. His promo skills are the only thing that he needs work on. Otherwise, this guy is a fantastic wrestler, one of Mexico's best in the current day."

[9.0] "Bandido is one of the more impressive luchadores right now. He has the obvious high-flying abilities but he also has good technical abilities and a surprising amount of power moves. Has a good presence in the ring."

[10.0] "Possibly THE best wrestler in the world as of 2021 in my opinion. He does things that are seemingly impossible (for example: his avalanche fallaway moonsault slam on Dragon Lee AND Taji Ishimori at the ROH / NJPW G1 Supercard). Not only is the man incredible, but also extremely nice. One of the most kind and humble wrestlers I have ever met. I have met him twice, both times getting a photo with him. He also shared a video I made of him on his own Instagram account as well as follows me on Instagram. Possibly my favourite wrestler. DEFINITELY in my top 5. (Update 2023) met him again after 4 years and he STILL remembers me. I love this man."

[9.0] "I am not sure how he is character wise , you know' But he is amazing in ring with his spots. Hard to rate a guy that I have seen have amazing matches in pwg in reseda but that I haven't seen much else from. He seemed like a 10 those nights obviously. One of the most over guys ever there. But, like ricochet, it would be kinda counter what you rate guys for, to rate him a 10. As he doesn't have the character or promo chops to be a 10. So for his innovative offence set and selling when he wants to I rate him the highest I can otherwise."

"[6.0] Bandido is a really good in ring worker but he has too many goofy mannerisms that he tries to get over at the expense of the match"

[8.0] "A fantastic luchador who was a great champion for Ring of Honor. Strange events happened after the pandemic, but it doesn't take away from the fact that he is a very fun wrestler to watch. ROH fell apart in 2021 and had to be bought by Tony Khan. Thus, his exposure to American fans has been somewhat limited, but he has a promotion of his own, back home in Mexico, so he has stayed busy since ROH became rather inactive."

[2.0] "Bandido is a bad wrestler. He dosn't sell. He just jump everywhere like an idiot. He has zero psychologie in ting. He incarnest the worst of importation of Lucha in the US (alongside some other)."

[9.0] "Best luchador in current wrestling have all tools to be the best as a highflyer technician powerhouse brawler and can mix with any styles in pro wrestling and a great showboat among fans how he carry fan through his match is great."

[8.0] "Bandido has had a very impressive career thus far. Unique presence, very Hayabusa-esque. There's a great mystique with him. Great worker too. He's sure to have a great career as long as he stays healthy."

[10.0] "Bandido has a fascinating competition with other Mexican wrestlers like Dragon Lee, Fenix ? and Pentagon and beyond the flamita. incredibly he manages to surpass all of them, so I can't give it another grade that isn't the highest"

[9.0] "Bandido just has that it factor when it comes to wrestling. He can connect with a crowd like few others with his crowd pleasing style. While he can do all manner of high flying, Bandido's best wrestling asset is his freakish strength. You can tell he is Ultimo Guerrero trained the way he throws other wrestlers around. Great look, off the charts charisma, and can do just about anything in the ring. ROH rightfully got behind him for a championship push at the correct time for once. Now the rest of the roster needs to come up to his level."

"9. 0 With his size, I think the TV Title would have been a better idea (and let the big boys fight it out for the World Title) but I can? t complain too much. Bandido rocks, and hopefully Rush (who I love) is diverted into a feud with his brother (and belt holder) Dragon Lee for a while, opening up the title picture a bit. Though small, he is very strong, making him believable versus the likes of Brody King, EC3, Shane Taylor and the like IF ROH commits to it. That finisher though?"

[9.0] "The first company to attach the mercenary bounty hunter gimmick to him and make him a feared figure in character will get one slap for not doing it sooner. This dude is seriously both strong and fast and his mask/bandana combination look is fire as fuck. I don't even need to talk about his in-ring style because every other aspect of him is so good."

[8.0] "To me, this guy is the spiritual successor to the legendary Hayabusa. This man does stuff I never thought was possible."
