[7.0] "Two guys who went out there and tried to put on a good match for each other. High pace and quick action with a lot of clever counters and reversals. They hit each other hard and bump hard for each other. It's a shame we didn't get to see these two face off against each other later in their careers when their stars were brighter and they have more experience under their belts."

[9.0] "Strange to think this was the only chance they ended up having to blow off the all-too-soon Hollywood Blondes breakup. I think it's actually a great match though and worthy of praise, it could have been more but they did a lot with what they had and the crowd responded well. Ah, what might have been..."

[6.0] "Man this should've been so much more. The Hollywood blondes were a fantastic tag team for a pretty short period of time before their unfortunate breakup for political reasons. So here is the big grudge match happening on a Random clash of the champions and it's under 10 minutes with a fuck finish. Wcw really failed these two guys. A shame because their chemistry is so clear here and this match despite the shitty finish and short length is pretty good. 3.25/5"

[7.0] "Very good match between the former Hollywood Blonds. They proved they had great chemistry as opponents just as they did as tag team partners. The action was fantastic and the cheap finish allowed the feud to continue. Good stuff. [***3/4]"

[6.0] "These two were good friends in real life, so they went out there and did the best they could together for the 9 minutes they were given. It was questionable to break up this team in the first place, but at least they blew it off, unlike they did for Doom a few years back."

[8.0] "From the tag team to the split, The Hollywood Blondes team helped their careers, this is a great clash between ex partners. This is not intense as their future feud in WWE, but it's more technical and a better Wrestling match. ***3/4"

[8.0] "A very good classic match between former friends turned enemies. The storyline for this feud was great. The match itself was fast-paced and the ending was great when Austins manager attacked Pillman as he was going for a springboard. Overall a great match that I have watched multiple times and I would recommend this match to everyone. ****"
