922.10.2025tsh205.0Decided to give this a try despite the low rating, and through the first portion I actually kinda liked it. It never really picked up though, went on for way too long, and not enough happened for a street fight that was this hyped up. The Jimmy turn made zero sense whatsoever as well, really stupid and ruined the ending. (5/10)

1322.08.2025BilboBaggins2.0This match dragged more than Solo dragged Jey. Lame sports entertainment garbage match infused with an intolerable amount of interference, atrocious pacing, and a nonsensical ending and story development that felt like a big jump the shark moment for THA BIG DAWG's title run and the OG Bloodline.

1509.08.2025Kazuchika4208.0I thought this was simple, warm, cozy meat and potatoes. Exactly what you would expect from these two. Yet the crowd was into the match, the family bloodline drama felt good, and Roman played his part to perfection. Very slow match, just about no impressive moves, but it worked. At least, it worked for me.

1724.07.2025FearlesSVBalor6122.0This tribal combat sucked in all rounds. Roman Reigns has become so lazy and full of himself that Jey Uso has to do huge carryjob to make the match not boring to be sit through. Plus, it shouldn't involve any interference based on its stipulation, but they force Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso to cost Jey so that they can continue this overhyped and artificial reign of terror of Roman. The angle of Jimmy turned on Jey is just reheating nacho of Nikki Bella turning on Brie Bella in 2014 Summerslam but in weak version. [*]

3316.04.2025Jtunstoppable20248.0I try my best not to base ratings on future events. Did they fumble Jimmy's betrayal? Absolutely. But this match otherwise was quite entertaining and it really made you feel like Jey had a chance. I also understand now why Roman retained for Cody's sake, and wouldn't change it in hindsight.

3615.03.2025Hyunminlee2.0Terrible match from two of mid wrestlers. I don't know why Jey's getting cheer and opportunities that other great don't get. And their match was too annoying and I couldn't concentrate on this match. Annoying superkicks, spears. Disappointed main event of Summer slam.

4020.02.2025Rassle Fan0.036 minutes HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA...what a farce this was. They loved it on r/scjerk but then again, those idiots will sniff the farts of anyone in WWE. It's controversial that Jey Uso is getting the push he's getting now but it was so much worse here. This whole feud and match felt like pure masturbatory Samoan nonsense. It's hard to think of anyone less deserving of a main event title match at the second biggest show of the year than Jey fucking Uso. As others mentioned, once Solo Sikoa started the usual interference, it was more like an episode of 1997-99 Nitro when the NWO interfered in every match.
4118.02.2025bennythegeneral8.0This match is awesome I don't know why the commmets and the ratings are so bashful lol. Jey and Roman' continuing there feud from there awesome 2020 matches is great. And the pacing and execution of this match makes sense and it's awesome. Tribal chief is at his peak and his cousin has had enough and the whole match's atmosphere was great.

4311.02.2025UltraMark13.0From what i can remember this match was heavily built on being a no interference match but in typical wwe/bloodline match formula we get multiple interferences - jimmy turning heel was one of the stupidest decisions in the HHH era still to this day - besides that the match itself was far to long and awfully paced was bored for most of the match

4913.01.2025Smi-485.0The question of when to get off a dead horse is starting to arise. Nothing against the action, it's extremely sluggish at the beginning, but solidly accentuated as it progresses, yet it's always just a template to maintain the status quo around Reigns and his belts. Another betrayal here, another emancipation approach there, and the next one to turn against Reigns will probably be Solo Sikoa, but then Jey Uso will probably step into the breach for the Tribal Chief again. Even Falcon Crest was more manageable. I can understand the weariness, give the action just under five points and state that a PLE doesn't have to end like this. Not even if you desperately want to hold on to Reigns.

5108.01.2025Chubibs0.0Insultingly boring, poorly paced, predictable, nonsensical and incompetently booked. This is honestly one of the worst main events I've ever seen. There was no way jey would ever win this match and even though everyone knew Jimmy would cost jey it still made no sense. The only memorable spot was the Samoan drop off the apron through the table but even that wasn't enough to make this match remotely decent. And wasn't it specified in the rules that the bloodline couldn't interfere? So wwe didn't follow their own rules for some reason

5501.01.2025Gilensky7.0Although it was objectively an excessively long match and in some ways a disappointment (given the magnitude of the feud it was reasonable to expect more), their match stood out for its excellent level and there were some good moments, such as Jey which, unlike Money In The Bank, dodges the combined attack of Roman and Solo, as well as the general atmosphere which, although excessively dilated, still conveyed part of the narrative prestige told for three years of storyline. As for the ending, I will simply say that those who consider it conceptually wrong and inconsistent not only did not understand the basis of the abysmal difference between Jey and Jimmy Uso's characters, but they suddenly forgot everything that had happened before and during the Bloodline Civil War. First of all, it is false to say that it was Jimmy Uso who made the Bloodline implode, both because Sami Zayn had already done it IN JANUARY, and because Jimmy, immediately after Night Of Champions 2023, tries to put the pieces back together and make peace with Roman Reigns (also getting kicked out). JEY IS USED TO IMPLEMENT THE REVOLUTION AGAINST THE BLOODLINE, so it is disgusting and schizophrenic to associate Jimmy with merits that are and remain the purest man of the Samoan stable. Also, unblock your ears, JIMMY IS ENVIOUS OF JEY'S ACHIEVEMENTS, HE HAD ADMITTED IT ON SMACKDOWN ON 06/16, with Jey then claiming all the efforts and sacrifices made for three years of his parable. So yes, we can easily discuss the fact that it happened too soon (even if they made a virtue of necessity, Jey Uso was over like Jesus Christ and the time was what it was especially with Roman's commitments), but it is right and sacrosanct that it was it went like this. And whoever thinks it's inconsistent from a narrative point of view, go and fuck off. (7(10)

6228.11.2024WilliamAllen5.0So boring but at least there was some storytelling and then Jimmy I wont take away too many points but I hope theyre not milking this feud in old WWE fashion. I have hope because this is the best long term storyline theyve had in awhile so Im being optimistic. (Nah this sucked after rewatch)

6418.11.2024Den0038.0here I completely disagree with the assessment, because I liked the match. It had what I expected to see. So he had a specific pace, but this is a feature of all bloodline matches. And in other terms, everything was good, with the use of various objects, psychological intensity and an interesting resolution. So I don't know why this fight was received so negatively

6815.10.2024artisticxavier3.0To all the people that think Jey Uso deserves a title, listen to me, Jey Uso is the Modern Day version of Hacksaw Jim Duggan good catchphrase good merchandising entertaining just not a main event talent, Jey Uso is Like Zack Ryder in 2011, Dude is obviously over but he's not a top spot guy.this match was too slow and too long with rules not being followed. One of the two matches I would say if you think Jey is a main event talent watch this first and then tell that to me again, Dude was thrown in the water and he sank. The stipulation was suppose to hide him but it exposed him even more

7019.09.2024minimark2152.0I rewatched this recently and it was a bit better than I remember, but that isnt saying much considering Im giving this a 2/10. The first half is passable (although still not good considering this is a SS main) but once Solo starts interfering it gets really really bad. plus the jimmy finish made like no sense and the crowd was completely lost at the end of this show. #unfortunate

7205.09.2024danzitorock1.0Well, that sucked. Yes, I'm not a Roman fan, and I'm not a Jey Uso fan, but I know when the match has worth and when it doesn't. I think Roman had great defenses against Kevin, Zayn, Cody, and others, and the Bloodline Civil War match was great too, but this was horrible, everything was awful, a slow-paced match, with boring spots, not one interesting move, bad booking, bad storytelling. The stipulation said that no family member could interfere, what was Solo doing there? I'm not even going to talk about Jimmy Uso, that was lame, just lazy booking, and the proof that they will throw that story-line into everyone throats. It's completely saturated, they didn't had any timing for closing this one, I think the Bloodline story is one of the greatest of all times, and now it's risked to ruin it. They will probably drag this thing until there's nothing left, which is such a shame. I hated everything about this match - {1/2*}
7303.09.2024bookbag55.0This is bad. It showed the flaws of Jey as a singles wrestler and was the worst part of a bloodline match. It's tribal combat, Roman and Jey shook on that so there would be no interference, and Solo still comes out and of course we have the turn of Jimmy. Which made no sense then and was still poorly done now. As Money in the Bank was a perfect Bloodline match, this was a terrible bloodline match and marked the beginning of the end of Roman's title reign going further down into bad territory. [**3/4]
7403.09.2024brooksavage20042.0I don't like this match at all. It's way too long, way too boring, it's just a bunch of dragged out family drama, Jimmy's heel turn on Jey was just dumb and the whole match represents just how much of a joke Roman's last year as Undisputed Champion was.
7502.09.2024FelipeTalksGraps0.0[DUD] My rating here goes fully to the Jimmy Uso intervention and how it affected negatively the storyline. First of all, I am a fan of both Roman (I gave 10 to him here) and Jey, I would be happy with either of them winning, the only guy I do not want to win is Cody because he has nothing to do with this incredible storyline. Man, how can I start? Why the hell would Jimmy help the guy who just injured him? In cinema there is a thing when people do plots just for the sake of it, just to get a reaction and a surprise, and this was exactly that. They just ruined the best storyline of the decade, lol. Jey attacking Jimmy made sense because Jey clearly suffered Stockholm Syndrome and Sami was the one to save him (great and very emotional storytelling). But what problem does Jimmy have? lol, they are gonna go with the jealous brother stuff but that is just bullshit, man. They absolutely love each other. No one will buy the story that Jimmy literally helped ROMAN REIGNS just because he is jealous of Jey. I really think Roman winning here is the right call, but if they were going with the turn, Jimmy helping Jey winning to turn on him after that to get a title shot would have been more intelligent of him, huh? They just made Jimmy look completely stupid and separated the best tag team of all time. A complete disaster

8313.08.2024Lukeathon2.0This was really truly awful. The ONE SINGLE RULE that was specified in Tribal Combat is that there are to be no interferences, no help, so what do WWE do? Break that rule completely. Jey literally just pinned Roman last month for the first time in 3 YEARS! Make a bigger deal of that, have Roman be almost scared of Jey, and have Jey take control with ferocity, this match could have been amazing, but both the broken ruleset and the ending make this worse than I would have rated it, don't get me wrong this match still sucks even without those 2 circumstances, boring and went on way too long, 23 minutes should have been the maximum for this one. One of the worst main events in Summerslam history I would go as far to say, and that's not Jey or Roman's fault in my opinion.

9002.08.2024ISimon19122.0I CAN NOT TAKE IT ANYMORE! WWE is going to milk this Bloodline cow to the last drop, every match is overbooking, they tried to do the car crashing of last SummerSlam and put a plot twist that would blow everyone's heads, they failed miserably in the match (last year there was a tractor) and the plot twist was shit, now it's up to Roman to disappear until WrestleMania where he has to bury another hot babyface and make the most overrated guy in history pass Sammartino with title, and in the end the story goes on and on and on...
