[9.0] "So, I love both of these guys and what they manage to put on every single match. That being said, I went into this match expecting a unique classic with flashes of Ricochet V Ospreay from 2016/7. It was nearly that, it had the high moments and really sick fast spots, but it just didnt feel the most cohesive and those high moments werent able to truly reach the high moments you see in other fantastic matches. Definitely worth a watch, the guys aren't taking the match slow or light at all, they go and go and go from bell to bell. Both of these guys have a decade and more left in their careers and will give us some legendary matches, I hope one day we get a rematch."

[6.0] "Ospreay is not the salty veteran he wishes he was, but he does a decent job at being a condescending bellend to Slater. The high spots don't have the flash as some of Ospreay's more known epics. Slater is so naturally charismatic for his age and the hangtime he can get on his high spots is something that can help him stand out of the crowd. The story told here was coherent, with Slater using tricks of other RevPro regulars to show how he can adapt and defeat a much more seasoned opponent. This had its violent moments with Ospreay really laying in those Ligerbombs. I'm admittedly a bit worn out by this style but there were things I liked a lot here and Slater has to be one of the best wrestlers in the world who is still a teenager!"

[5.0] "The "Will Ospreay faces young wrestlers who want to be him" tour continues. As I'm not a fan of Ospreay or his style, it concerns me that so many young guys emulate him so closely, but here we are. All in all this wasn't bad but I didn't feel a lot of hype from it, it was very go-go as expected and left me a bit cold, but the live crowd loved it so they did the right things. Leon Slater definitely shows some potential."

[7.0] "As I'm clearly not an Ospreay enjoyer, I didn't expect much of this match. However, I was really surprised by it, even if I don't find it as good as other may find it. It didn't contain selling errors, it felt like the sequences were done in a rythm and a logic that was respected. Some good references like Slater's dive over the corner, and a good underdog work by Slater, which was put over well by Ospreay. ***1/2"

The match would have been better if the ref bump have come later: I wanted to see more action from these two. Anyway it's strange to see Ospreay winning with the Storm Driver '93. ****1/2"

[10.0] "This was well on its way to being an absolute classic until the ref bump near the end knocked out the ref for far too long. Even with the ref bump, the interference that followed was not that overdone, as it furthered multiple stories, and the match still had a very exciting finish. Slater looked fantastic here, which to be fair isn't as difficult when one is across from Ospreay. ****3/4"

[9.0] "Awesome match between Ospreay and Slater right here which lived up to the high expectations I had and I can really say they were high once again because Ospreay is my favorite wrestler and I'm a big fan of Leon Slater and the work he's been doing since last year at such a young age, so I'd been clamoring for this match for months. Their styles were perfect to deliver together and indeed I was not wrong because WHAT A MATCH, it was awesome with Ospreay great in that dickhead role and Slater still as fighting as ever. Ospreay doing a Superman Punch in reference to Roman's segment in which Leon served as an extra last week in SmackDown was the funniest thing in the match, Will is so good at that kind of detail. I also really enjoyed Drilla Moloney's intervention, no doubt Will's next big match in RevPro will be against him. All in all, twenty minutes of beautiful wrestling."

[8.0] "This was like the athletic version of the ZSJ/Breaks match. No styles clash here. This is the master versus the best of the new generation and the sort of match we may one day be looking back to as a passing of the torch. Exhilarating ****"

[8.0] "Leon Slater has been amazing in his run in RevPro and this is one of the peaks. Will Ospreay gave him a lot, and even at one point, for a second, I thought they might give Slater the win, especially since Ospreay's title wasn't on the line. The match was high impact, and constantly exciting. **** 1/4"
