[8.0] "Two of the best wrestlers of this time going at it here. Both guys know each other so well at this point, going back to ROH in the Reliance vs. No Remorse Corps feud, and it makes this match a joy to watch. A lot of intensity as always from Davey with classic cowardly heel work from Aries in the early going. The longer the match goes, it gets better and keeps the crowd going. We even got a triple thunderclap, wow! Fantastic match, go out of your way to find this hidden gem."
[8.0] "Some excellent pro wrestling between two excellent pro wrestlers, it's as simple as that. Both had developed a good chemistry at the end of their series of matches and this was a singles meeting I really wanted to see, they had everything to click well together in the ring and this was the case. The crowd was invested in the action and it was all so clean. Not the finish unfortunately, but that didn't spoil my appreciation. Very good Slammiversary match."
[9.0] "I am more of a Bobby Roode guy when it comes to this tag team, but Aries and Richards managed to have a great ROH throwback match here that impressed me at the time."
[7.0] "In typical TNA fashion of doing everything backwards, they have a PPV match to set-up a tag match on Impact. There was a lot of stalling on the part of Aries, and he was on his way out of the company by this point, so although the match is good, it won't go down as one of his more motivated performances."
[8.0] "Very good match between two great wrestlers. Kinda weak finish but the match took its time and built to the more exciting spots. Probably the best match on this card, featuring a good crowd and good action that was pretty different from TNA 2015 norms."
