This was a good version of that style of wrestling. Young Bucks are still one of my least favorite teams, but I can admit I do enjoy a few of their matches. The two back to back sickouts from Matt Jackson was crazy and dumb. The mini story of Kyle and Will with the screwdriver was slightly investing. |

This is NOT a five stars match for me, but if I'm giving this a 10, you can imagine what I feel when I notice that Matthews and Nicholas were FINALLY fighting seriously in this long and exhausting reign they have with the AEW Tag Team belts. |

| 32 | 23.02.2025 | Judestar | 9.0 | A very classic kind of Young Bucks tag team match but one I've always loved to see over the years, helps that it's a fresh matchup too. I don't care for the Don Callis storyline but its implementation here with the screwdriver stuff wasn't over the top, so it didn't hurt the match for me. |

| 48 | 15.12.2024 | ZachTheOddBall | 6.0 | Overblown to hell. Match started out fun and normal with great action. I was thoroughly enjoying the first half of this, which is why I'm giving it a six. The second half wasn't nearly as good. They shoved so much stuff in that we've seen before and was completely unnecessary. Kicking out of TWO tag finishers and having a THIRD be broken up, yet Matt Jackson somehow still moves like he only took a superplex or something. And of course they had to include the screwdriver bit. Fun first half, annoying second half. |

| 50 | 01.12.2024 | Willie 19200 | 8.0 | An absolute amazing tag team match where not only both teams got to shine, but also helped hype up the Ospreay and Don Callis Family tension. The Young Bucks retained and added another match to a very good tag title run. I feel like it may have felt a bit short and could've gone longer however was still an amazing match-up. |

Match had a lot of fast paced action and while most of it looked good it got sloppy at times. Ospreay preventing Fletcher from using the screwdriver only to be hit with the belt was interesting. |

In a literal sense it was loud and action packed but i could not have cared less. Fletcher feels like another Ricochet clone in an era where we need much less of that, Ospreay himself is a top talent but his style has become very grating. Saddens me to say it but the Bucks are cooked. |

Him being tagged with Ospreay was a great choice and the Bucks are an obvious legendary tag team. Fast paced action with great false finishes. Good shit. |

Phenomenal athletic ability on display, insane spots and reversals, and a little much by the end. Definitely entertaining, but I would love to have a Young Bucks match surprise me at some point, though, I honestly liked the pacing / false finish in this one more than their last few title defenses. Fletcher is so great, he feels like a little orphan boy from One Piece or something. Also please stop with that stupid screwdriver bit, I'm sure the payoff will be gross and wild but my god the means are not worth the end no matter how good it may be. That's all, actually enjoyed it btw, 7/10. |

| 94 | 07.10.2024 | thedr7q | 8.0 | When the Young Bucks try, they're the best tag team on the planet. This was the first match it felt like they put genuine effort into since Sting's retirement match. Ospreay & Fletcher were the heart and Soul of this match though. Ospreay trying to stop Fletcher from giving into Don Callis' corruption made a character moment that I think we're going to see reflected in Fletcher's performance going forward. |
| 95 | 07.10.2024 | brainbusterrr | 8.0 | This was comfortably the best match on the show. Super well layed out athletic, PWG type business. Kyle is extremely comfortable here in a tag setting but he has shown great improvement as a singles guy that now translates to his tag stuff so he really showed out here. The Bucks actually seemed to care here as well so thats always nice to see. **** |

| 97 | 07.10.2024 | DXTF | 1.0 | I've never been a fan of The Young Bucks, as performers and people, and I'm not going to pretend like this hasn't impacted my rating for this match, because it has. I don't like their style of wrestling, and this match was just more of that style; move and move being done but with no meaning whatsoever. Will Ospreay is a phenomenal athlete and you see that on display in this match, however he is prone to not really selling anything, just like The Bucks - at one point, he's hit with a Canadian Destroyer (so sick of seeing this move now, I was blown away when I first saw Petey Williams do it but it's so overused now) and he instantly retaliates with a lariat. I first saw Kyle Fletcher years ago at a RevPro show when he was a part of Aussie Open, I wasn't enamoured with what I saw then, and I haven't seen much improvement in him since, however at least he was selling in this match, so I'll give him props for that. As we got to the end game, Kyle Fletcher went to use a screwdriver while the ref's back was turned, however Ospreay took it away and gave it to the ref. As this was happening, The Bucks used one of the tag titles to whack Fletcher, and that led to The Young Bucks picking up the victory and retaining their titles. As an athletic display, this match was impressive, there's no denying that, but there's a lot more to wrestling than athletics, which is a big reason why I can't bring myself to rate this match higher. There's a lot to like about AEW, however I don't see The Young Bucks as being one of them. |
