[8.0] "Not a perfect show but I quite liked it overall. A couple quick chaotic matches to start but I enjoyed Guido/Nova pretty well. Awesome three way to follow, killer match. New Jack six man, eh, not the worst but weakest on the show. Sabu vs. Candido was solid but a bit too long, could have trimmed a lot off. Awesome vs. Tanaka was insane, so so so good. Taz vs. RVD was quite good, not up to full potential maybe but I liked it. Surprised the crowd was so anti-Taz. Main event was a mess but a fun one, for me at least."

[5.0] "The start of the show was horribly messy, moving from segments that fell flat to short, meaningless matches in a chaotic fashion. The matches got better in the middle, but there wasn't much flow to the event and the timing seemed off. Definitely one to cherry pick the better matches from, as a whole it was less than the sum of its parts."

[6.0] "This was fine but felt flat for most of the show. Lynn/Crazy/Tajiri and Awesome/Tanaka are worth watching"

[5.0] "This was a fairly disappointing to average show. Maybe 1999 wasn't the best for ECW PPVs. It's a 50/50 event. Spike Dudley vs Simon Diamond was hardly a match. No comment here. Nova vs Guido did very little for me in terms of interest. Could hardly keep my eyes open. Tajiri with the back to back tarantulas on Lynn and Super Crazy was awesome, and that was quite a moment in the three way, which itself was fast paced and enjoyable one that even went into the crowd. Super Crazy leaping off the balcony was well done. Nice change of pace from the opening dud matches. The handicap match might be one of the worst matches I have ever seen. Absolutely nothing interesting and New Jack being New Jack, which wasn't even a major factor. Not cool. Candido vs Sabu was your typical Sabu match, but Candido made this one great. Probably the best I've seen him. The use of the managers was well done and came into play during the finish. This was a solid one. Second good match of this show. The world title match... I mean if the chair shots alone didn't make this one... Great, great sprint and hard hitting contest. I had Tanaka winning but it wasn't his night. That Awesome Splash halfway across the ring was incredible. Do I consider this better than their match at Heat Wave 98? Not even close, but still a worthy one on one sequel. RVD vs Taz was a lot better than what I've heard but it didn't have the heat or intensity that the story needed. Taz did a wicked clothesline that looked like it hurt. Solid contest, but needed more intensity to warrant the time given. Main event was the expected ECW match that closes off most shows. Interesting dynamic between the face team, which ultimately led to their loss. For me, it did little to draw me in. Not that great of a show. The solid half wasn't enough to wash away the bad parts."

[6.0] "This was a very hit and miss show. There's really only three matches on here I would describe as above average - Lynn vs Crazy vs Tajiri, Tanaka vs Awesome, and Candido vs Sabu. The last two matches were disappointments, especially RVD vs Taz."
