[9.0] "The crowd was the main talking point of the show, which makes total sense because they were amazing. But the matches here are GREAT too. The opener is phenomenal, it elevated Iyo Sky to the main event scene and it was the first time on her main roster run where she was allowed to hoop. She's my favorite wrestler on the planet but I wasn't even mad she lost. I was just happy over the performance she had. The street fight was just incredible stuff. There's other matches on here that are pretty good, a couple of them felt like they were just there but Zelina vs Rhea I understand since Zelina is from Puerto Rico so giving her a moment there was a great decision. The United States title match is the only thing that I don't really have a positive reception coming out from it. It could've been on a smackdown. Everything else was just great stuff, and one the best best PLE's I've seen Triple H do and one of the best Backlash events the company has ever had, imo."

The Street Fight was absolutely the match of the night and Bad Bunny had one of the best performances by a non wrestler I personally can remember. Priest had a fantastic performance as well and the crowd responded accordingly, as that match should have closed the show for sure. IYO SKY for my money had the performance of the night and here vs. Bianca has to be her best match on the main roster up to this point. Solid 3 star show."

[8.0] "A very good show from beginning to middle to end, This is considered the beginning of the international PPV tour for WWE. The opener between Belair and Iyo was excellent and had a crowd that was red hot for Iyo Sky, at one point, I thought WWE were going to do the unthinkable and put the title on Iyo because of the crowd, but eventually, Bianca retained in what seemed to be a great match. Rollins was able to get a decent match out of Omos. The triple threat for the US title was not really that good and was weak by comparison to the rest of the card. Zelina Vega, although I'm not a fan of hers, got to have a really emotional moment in her home country in front of a crowd of 10, 000+, it was really great to see. Rhea would retain her title over Zelina however, which obviously WWE wasn't going to ruin the momentum of Rhea for a cheap pop in Puerto Rico. Next up was Bad Bunny (a contender for one of the best celebrity wrestlers of all time) vs Damian Priest, the storytelling here was amazing and everyone in the crowd was all for Bad Bunny as Puerto Rico is also his home country, he got the win over Damian here in what was an absolute banger match. The Bloodline vs KO, Sami, and Riddle would follow up and it was a decent match with some good storytelling and moments, The Bloodline won in the end which also was the right call to continue the feud between KO/Sami and The Bloodline for a while. The *actual* main event (it was confusing the hell out of me with the triple main event schtick, there is NO such thing as a "double" let alone "triple" main event! ) was between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar, it was decent for the most part, Cody would get the win in this to continue the road on solidifying him in his "finish the story" storyline which has been over with a lot of fans. Overall, this show was great, 8 points."

I think seeing the reactions that the show is a bit overrated in particular the match beetwenn Bad Bunny and Priest which was good but definitely not a 8.5 but the fact that a rapper not physically impressive who has no link with sport beat clean a wrestler like Priest make me sick, really incomprehensible it discredits him... even if he is in his hometown and that is a feel good moment it's really a bad decision, his good performance would have been enough (like zelina)."

A couple standouts (weirdly something that's becoming a rarity on Endevour-era WWE shows, which all seem to blur together into lumps of mediocrity), but overwhelming mid over most of the show."

[8.0] "Usually, Backlash is just the WrestleMania rematch show and thus doesnt get to live up to the hype of the previous event. But here, Backlash in some regards surpasses WrestleMania this year. No matches were awful, they were at the worst passable. Yes, even Rollins vs Omos was surprisingly entertaining at times. Other matches like the US title match, Rhea vs Zelina, the Six-Man Tag and Cody vs Brock were all solid in their own right but not extraordinary. But, Bianca vs IYO and Bunny vs Priest were all very good in their own way, and were worth the watch. Bianca vs IYO was quite possibly the best opening match of the year and Bunny vs Priest was exhilarating while feeding off the energy of the audience. On top of that, a very hot crowd in Puerto Rico also helped the show get higher in the rankings, as it just elevated the entertainment value of the event. Overall, it was a very good watch, worthy of a 7, 75/10. Definitely watch the show again for the two matches mentioned prior"

Other than the opener and the Bunny vs Priest match everything was really below average, but it was nice to see those fan services to the public in the arena, incredible moments. Main event was poorly chosen though."

The women's match to kick off the show was solid, but everything else was average or worse. Not worth a revisit or watch if you haven't already seen it, I'd just go out of the way to see the Street fight, as it was the only memorable moment from an otherwise lackluster show. 4/10"

Bianca vs. Iyo: good opener with a clear demonstration of how tiring Bianca's reign is and a great stage for Iyo (***3/4). Seth vs. Omos: Seth did as much as he could to carry Omos and thankfully he came away with the victory (**1/2). Theory vs. Lashley vs. Bronson: the match was really cool, a shame it was very short (***). Rhea vs. Zelina: worst match of the show and the only thing that can be saved is the post-match ovation in favor of Zelina (**). Bunny vs. Priest: MOTN, given Bunny's incredible entrance, the returns and the deafening pops along with the crowd's masterful performance, this should have been the main event, best celebrity match in WWE history (****). 6 man tag: typical match that could have happened on the weekly show (***). Cody vs. Brock: good win for Cody after the Mania incident, quick match but recapping the feud between the two it was the best match between them (***)"

[8.0] "A fantastic show and I might have given it a 9/10 if the main event was a bit better, although I liked every single match on that card. The opener was phenomenal with IYO showing why she's one of the best women talents at the moment and had a nicely paced match with Bianca. Then Omos and Rollins produced the Nigerian's best match of his career with him showing much improvement in the last few months. Later both US Title and Women's Title matches were alright - nothing special but still competent. The San Juan Street Fight was also perfect as it was booked realistically and felt like a real fight without unnecessary hardcore spots as every weapon was used just to give advantage to Bad Bunny. 6-Man Tag was another nice chapter in The Bloodline story and even though the main event was a bit disappointing in terms of the finish it still delivered with Lesnar opening himself up the hard way being one of the highlights of the night. Great show with a phenomenal crowd that was a joy to listen to."

One of the best nights of my life, it felt like a party with how much we were enjoying every match. Bianca vs Iyo was incredible and The San Juan Street Fight was legendary with a lot of fanservice for us Puerto Ricans. Every other match was a lot of fun as well aside from maybe the U.S title match since I felt it was too short, but it wasn't a bad match by any means. This show will always be special to me, I hope WWE comes back here soon, I really want to experience this again."

Bad Bunny's entrance and the crowd singing along was an all timer and the match delivered as well. My only real problem with the show was that Bunny and Priest should have gone on last."

[7.0] "Triple H era PPV are always satisfactory, and in this case, the Puerto Rico crowd made it unforgettable with their energy and their chants. A PPV that, in normal circunstances, no one would care about, felt like it a don't miss show and it delivered. Some matches were way more about the story than the action (Rhea vs Zelina, 6-Man Tag), others were decent thanks to one man (Rollins vs Omos and Bronson Reed in the Triple Threat), the Main Event is what you can expect from Brock Lesnar when he is more motivated to work, and then the two bangers of the night. Bad Bunny gave an stellar performance in a different kind of stage, but he does it much better inside the ring than singing. Damian Priest is a complete pro and he gained the confidence of Triple H after this performance to be Mr. Money in The Bank. And then, the best match of the night, a MOTYC and the most Takeover-esque match in the Main Roster. What a thing of beauty both Io Shirai and Bianca Belair gave us, despite the interefence finish at the end. It was a very fun PPV, but a lot of things could be much, much better if they wanted to do it."

They elevated the event to level A11 the matches were good. Onos, had his best match so far thanks to Rollins. I was so happy for Zelina. She got great ovation from the audience. Love seeing that. Bad Bunny match was insane. Carlito's return was so The whole match was Incredible. Huge props to Damien Priest. Also, Bad Bunny may just be the best celeb wrestler in WWE. He was amazing. The only problem I've with the show is that Bad Bunny match should've main evented but whatever. Usos match was good. Solo almost beating Jey was great. As for the main event. Cody and Lesnar had a great match but Lesnar bleeding was insane. Never expected it but loved it so much. Blood does add more intensity in a match Overall, a great PLE Triple H didn t miss with his PLES so far"

[9.0] "Really good show with one of the best WWE crowds in a long time, they helped make the Bad Bunny vs Damian Priest match which in terms of drama and fun is one of my favourite matches of the year, just an all round great effort from everyone! Having Zelina Vega as the plucky underdog against the dominant Rhea Ripley was a great booking decision as well and Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes felt like a proper fight with Brock being done by Cody using his brain which set up more matches between the 2 down the line. Had Rhea vs Charlotte not happened then Belair vs Iyo Sky would have been the best womens match of the year comfortably with Iyo looking a star and hopefully setting up a proper push down the line. Seth and Omos and the triple threat were the only matches I wasn't that engaged in but it was a strong show. Also any stuff with the Bloodline is gold."

[7.0] "A pretty solid outing despite somewhat lackluster build. At least three matches worth going out of your way to see - Belair vs. Sky was a very strong Women's Title match; Bad Bunny vs. Priest was great fun and in the upper echelon of celebrity matches; and Rhodes vs. Lesnar was well-executed, even if the feud seems more than anything like just trying to give Cody something to do after his Mania loss. The six-man tag was primarily focused on the story of tension between the Bloodline members, while Rollins vs. Omos was probably Omos' best singles match to date, but had little reason given for being booked and Omos really needs a big win at this point. Also nice to see Zelina Vega, an alum of my local scene, get a big moment. Decent show overall; the matches were all well-worked and there were a couple of standout moments."

There was "only" two very good matches and 5 okay matches, but my god this puerto rican crowd elevated everything ! It would have been a mid show everywhere else but not here, it almost felt like a giant house show and I don't say that in a negative way. More shows in Puerto Rico please and next time give them a better card it will be awesome"

[4.0] "A pretty poor show with forgettable matches and only the main-event resembling something mildly worthwhile. Bianca vs Iyo was alright. I didn't like how slow and overly telegraphed a lot of their more complex interactions were. Iyo's agile displays and arm-targeting attacks were fun, though Bianca's athleticism wasn't as impressive, plus she no-sold that arm work. Their big-move trades in the end were generic, and the interference was pretty bad. **3/4. Rollins vs Omos was competent enough WWE-style 'star vs monster' match. Rollins' offence was annoyingly flimsy as usual, but at least it was mostly accurate. Omos is obviously limited but at least his brute-strength spots all looked good (probably better than Rollins' offence did tbh). Unremarkable but fine. **1/2. Theory vs Lashley vs Reed was a non-stop, mindless spotfest sprint with the standard multi-man structure of cycling wrestlers in and out for new pairings and then throwing in a few pure multi-man spots as well. Nothing too exciting but not bad. **1/2. Rhea vs Zelina was kind of poor and definitely limited, though it wasn't awful. Zelina's absolutely small size and weak offence made her impossible to take seriously. Rhea rag-dolling her was okay, but Zelina did nothing to convince me that she actually deserved this spot. The crowd support added a small bit of extra excitement, I guess. **1/4. Priest vs Bunny wasn't terrible but it certainly wasn't for me. Seeing a non-wrestler be so competitive with a legitimate, established wrestler like Priest is just too ridiculous for me to take seriously. Not even the excuse of Bunny having weapons to help take Priest down works either, since Priest had access to those SAME weapons yet still couldn't win. Embarrassing stuff, though I somewhat enjoyed it as an idiotic spectacle. **. Owens, Zayn & Riddle vs The Usos & Sikoa was a super generic WWE-style 'epic', with fine but very forgettable work from everyone. They eventually had a decent pace, though that with them all generically spamming big moves, and that lack of creativity combined with the pretty long length made it quite a drag to sit through. We also got some VERY cheesy and generic Bloodline drama between Sikoa and the Usos, right out of a high-school theatre class as per usual. **1/2. Cody vs Lesnar suffered from overkill-ness and absurdity but was still the clear MOTN. Cody energetically jumped Lesnar as the start, with Lesnar selling very well in real time before responding with his wonderfully beastly power moves. Cody took some pretty nasty bumps in the process, though it did feel absurd that he could make any of the comebacks he did, let alone even stand back up after the onslaught. At least Cody's big comeback after Lesnar got busted open on the turnbuckle was fun, but then we got ridiculous finisher and near-fall spam. Cody also stupidly resembled a weaselly heel with the rather cheap way he won and then scampered away. Ultimately pretty mindless but still alright. ***"

The triple threat and smackdown womens championship match were both decent, but every other match was a spectacle. Iyo Sky and Bianca was incredible from start to finish. Seth vs. Omos was easily omos best match with a great finish. Cody vs. Brock was a good match with blood and letting cody win was the right choice. Lastly, Bunny vs. Priest was incredibly incredible, Bad Bunnys passion and love for the company really shows, and the crowd was one of the best crowds ive seen in years. ALSO.. we got to see savio vega ANNDD Carlito. 9/10"

The show had a little bit of drag over the next too matches, but Zelina coming out with the flag dress livened things up. The street fight was also a classic. Really felt like how I remember WWE from the early 2000s. Bad Bunny is an excellent wrestler. One main problem was after this match I felt the show was over. The six man tag was fun, but by the time Cody came out I was a little over it. Still a great show and highly recommended."

Old school booking made this feel much more important than what it was. Awesome PPV and so much fun to watch when the crowds are that hot!"

[8.0] "A fun show overall. I do like that it didn't overstay it's welcome like some WWE PPVs It's a real shame that they didn't have Bad Bunny main event because the crowd was burnt out after that banger of a match, and everything after suffered because of it. I loved the Savio Vega return as he's one of my favorite New generation wrestlers, he's very deserving of a wwe hof ring especially now that he's appeared on tv for new fans to appreciate. (if you haven't watch his strap match with Steve Austin in 1996 be sure to, he and Austin had amazing chemistry) the only match I didn't like was that plodding Omos match, Yes was Seth did was impressive, but no one on Foley's green earth can have a good match with Omos, him getting 2 PPV matches 2 months in a row is awful. Like how can Omos get a spot on the card but not LA knight? What a joke. I liked both women's matches too, I would have liked them to have more matches, but that's always going to be true for me. In conclusion Puerto Rico got a good showing here and they were a hot crowd much deserving of a return show soon. An easy 8/10."

The opener was great, and the 2nd best match of the night, behind only Bunny vs Priest which had an insane atmosphere. Seth vs Omos was good, the 3-way and Zelina vs Rhea were both average. The Bloodline drama, which was much of the 6-man, isn't doing it for me anymore, but the match itself was fine. Brock vs Cody was a very good main event, but I wouldn't have had Cody run away from Brock right after the match, other than that they worked the match right."

"Not allowed to rate yet but I think a solid 7 PPV, elevated by some good cameos, Carlito's return and a super-hot crowd. Matches were shorter for a PPV but that's on-par with WWE formula. Opener was solid and Bad Bunny and Priest delivered as well but the six-man main event felt slow and too focused on story-line and while the other main event was pretty good, it ended too quickly. Other matches had too little time to do anything much but all triple threats in WWE seem to have the same finish and its become repetitive and boring at this point. Overall a good 3hour WWE PPV with a nuclear crowd, decent matches and a good overall weekend including Smackdown."

My least favorite match was the one between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest. Not a good match, but it was fun in an ECW kinda way, with all the run ins and weapons. Bad Bunny isn't as good as The Sandman was, but he's way more over. WWE did a lot of smoke and mirrors to make Bunny look good. I did enjoy all the matches in some kind of way, and it probably helped that the crowd was hot for this card."

As for the actual quality of the show, it wasn't perfect. All the matches had a seedling of great stuff in there, but a lot of them felt like they didn't get out of Act I due to the time constraints, ESPECIALLY THE TRIPLE THREAT. The main event also had a bit of an abrupt ending. Bunny vs Priest was MOTN as a spectacular display of wrestling stupidity, and Bianca vs Iyo was second in a fantastic opener, Omos also did way better than expected and the six man was routine but still very fun. And fun is the word to describe this show; definitely flawed, but was an excellent experience and a hell of a time. 8.5/10"

A decent Omos match that Seth just again let everyone know why he is one of the best workers of all times. A fun US title match that even in lost showcased What an awesome talent Bronson Reed is. A huge hometown story who even with everyone knowing that Rhea was going to win got us invested in Zelina as a character and a competitor. One of the best if not the best celebrities matches of all times overdelivering with somewhat overbooking it but in a great sport entertainment kind of way with Bad Bunny selling better that alone of wrestlers do having a whole loooot more of ring psychology than a lot of wrestlers do. Just getting his ass whipped by the MVP of the night Damian Priest who needs to be given his dues cause he deserves it. Priest got Bunny through this match he sold his ass of for him he did not held of on his offens for Bunny that's another one for the singer. Plus all of the nostalgia pops with Carlito and Savio Vega not to mention Judgement Day and the rest of LWO who includes a Hall Of Famer in Rey Mysterio. This was followed by a decent six man match where we got to see the Bloodline almost cracked by Solo almost hitting Jey and Cody beating Brock Leasnar in a bloody match even if the finish was a bit rushed it was a good match. In my opinion the Priest vs Bunny deserved to be the main event but that apart and the AWESOME FANS FROM PUERTO RICO made this a great 10/10 PLE!"

Also the finish for Brock/Cody was kind of anticlimactic but the match was solid. The Usos & Solo/Steen, Sami, Riddle match was excellent, as was the Bad Bunny match. I highly recommend watching the whole show."

"Very pleasantly surprised. Didn't expect much going into this event, but the crowd was fantastic, and the matches were great too. Bianca and Iyo put on a great opener, but Bunny and Priest stole the show. What a fantastic match, especially from a celebrity performer. Wish the US title triple threat was a bit longer, but this was a solid PLE."

The returns of Carlito & Savio Vega were amazing, match of the night for me was Bunny vs Priest. i wish they had gone on last. my only slight gripe is the length of the UNited States title match, i wish they got more time. i hope WWE bring a PLE to Puerto Rico again soon."
