| 10 | 21.07.2024 | Dkex | 9.0 | Dynamite beginnt sofort mit einem starken Opener. Claudio und Fenix haben es sich hier richtig gegeben und für knapp 15 Minuten durchgängig für Unterhaltung gesorgt. Toller Start in die Show. Miro ist zurück, mal sehen was geschieht. Danach gibt es eine fantastische Videopromo von MJF, hier wird das Titelmatch beim PPV mal richtig gut gehypt und noch mehr der Champ selbst. Das In-Ring Segment mit FTR, JJ plus Anhang und Mark Briscoe war ziemlich unterhaltsam, die Fehde hat sich wirklich entwickelt und unterhält mich mehr als alles mit JJ 2023 eigentlich dürfte. Das Jericho Interview war okay und stellenweise durchaus witzig, trotzdem packt mich die Fehde zwischen ihm und Cole nicht. Strong unterbricht und zeigt, dass er am Mikro immer noch nicht gut ist. Nach einer typisch hölzernen Ansage von TK geht es zum nächsten Match. Cassidy vs. Daniel Garcia ist schon das zweite starke Match der Show, auch wenn es nicht ganz an den Opener herankommt. Cassidy ist ein guter Champ und Garcia hat die Rolle des ernstzunehmenden Herausforderers voll ausgefüllt. Das Hypevideo für die Fehde zwischen den Outcasts und Baker/Hayter/Shida war okay. Mit den Outcasts kann ich immer noch wenig anfangen, trotzdem wird das ganze zumindest langsam ein bisschen besser. In-Ring gibt es dann ein fantastisches Interviewsegment mit Christian, der Mann ist so unfassbar gut am Mikro. Ich verstehe, was das darauf folgende Hypevideo für Darby bezwecken sollte, mich hat das leider kalt gelassen. Julia Hart vs. Anna Jay AS beginnt gut, lässt dann aber nach und war insgesamt dann gerade noch solide. Nach einem kurzen Backstage Interview mit den "Best Amigos" gibt es das Trios Title Match. HoB vs. "Best Amigos" war wrestlerisch und technisch deutlich besser als das Damenmatch, konnte mich aber irgendwie so gar nicht packen und war deshalb auch nicht mehr als solide. Im Anschluss schlägt Kyle Fletcher Orange Backstage zu Boden und positioniert sich als neuer Herausforderer, sehr schön, wird ein gutes Match. Dann gibt es ein weiteres Hypevideo für das 4-Pillars Match, dieses Mal mit Perry im Zentrum, das war in Ordnung, aber auch hier konnte man mich nicht packen. Der Main Event war dann fantastisch und mein klares MotN. Das war so ziemlich genau das, was ich mir erhofft hatte. Insgesamt war das eine fantastische Ausgabe von Dynamite, die Beste seit Langem. Es gab keinen Downer, 2 richtig starke Matches und ein Main Event, der sogar noch besser war. Ganz knapp an der perfekten 10 vorbei. |

Dennoch ist das Match zwischen Claudio und Fenix gut. Im weiteren Verlauf der Show gefiel mir der Blick auf die vier Eigengewächse von AEW sehr gut. Dann war auch Cassidy-Garcia wieder eine gute Titelverteidigung von Cassidy. Im Trios Title Match habe ich den Sinn der Stipulation nicht so ganz verstanden. Am Ende wirkte es mehr wie ein Match in dunklem Licht, aber war dennoch solide. Das Cage Match zwischen Omega und Moxley war wieder einmal eine blutige Angelegenheit. Der Turn von Don Callis am Ende wird noch erklärt werden müssen, aber ich bin guter Hoffnung, dass es für Callis ein frischer Anstrich werden könnte. Als Manager von Omega hatte sich seine Rolle wohl auch einfach ein bisschen abgenutzt. |

The opener was great with some amazing spots, fast-paced action and great chemistry shown by two of the best wreslters in the wolrd right now. The pillars package videos were all great. Christian Cage is a fantastic heel and his promo was also great. Miro and Thunder Rosa's returns were unexpected and incredible as well as Tony Khan teasing the new weekly show. The no holds barred and the International title match were dissapointing: the first one was sloppy and in general bad while the second had a great ending but the rest of the match was pretty boring even if Garcia was amazing. The trios title match was good but it was cut short: just when they had to kick in the second gear, the match ended. The main event was crazy: fantastic with some incredible spots and one of the most amazing turns ever! Overall: fantastic episode. |

Der Turn kommt überraschend, aber ist per se nicht die Personalie, die ich besonders spannend finde. Qualitativ gesellt sich dahinter das wirklich sehr ordentliche Promo-Video von Darby Allin, das nice Interview von Christian Cage, das MJF Promo-Video und der kurze Clip mit Miro. Dahinter wird es dann schon dünner. Opener ist ganz nice, aber das Booking ist nicht so meins. Auch Match #2 liefert ordentlich ab, aber der inhaltliche Mehrwert für die OC-Matches ist bald wirklich nicht mehr gegeben. Dahinter dann viel Durchschnitt oder Aussetzer wie die TK Backstage-Promo. Auch Outcasts und das Guevara Promo-Video holen mich so gar nicht ab. Nur Best Friends & Bandido liegen da z.B. noch etwas drunter. So schließt die Show zwar mit einem echten Highlight, aber bis dahin ist Stunde 2 eher mau. |

I think they abused of promo packages and interviews. A lot of time passed between the first and second matches. Christian's promo was unnecessary and could be a shorter interview on the ramp. I don't get why the 4 Pillars packages were all broadcast tonight, as the match is 3 weeks away. Turning to the matches, Claudio vs Fenix was good. OC vs Garcia was pretty cool and Garcia's character work is getting better every time. He's a huge star in the making. Julia vs Anna Jay was cool and they told a great story and did some great character work, even though they need to get more athletic and more fluid in the ring. The Trios match was a bit boring but the entrances and the setup made it feel important. The main event was grueling and freaking awesome. The Don Callis betrayal was unexpected and makes you craving for next week. |

Mit Castagnoli und Rey Fenix hast du eh schon die beiden Workhorses im Match und dann rocken die da eine Viertelstunde komplett das Match durch. Guter Stilcash, guter Action im und ausserhalb des Rings. Das war richtig starkes Wrestling. Der Sieg von Castagnoli geht natürlich klar und auf das Tag Team Titelmatch habe ich auch Bock. Cassidy gegen Garcia danach fiel nur minimal ab. Ansonsten rocken auch die beiden das Haus. Garcia sieht sogar ab und zu wie der Sieger aus, aber Cassidy kann sich am Ende durchsetzen und seinen Titel erneut verteidigen. Hart gegen Jay danach war ok. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Hart ist die richtige Siegerin. Jay zündet bei mir aber überhaupt nicht mehr. Das Trios Match danach mit Bitches are banned from ringside war ok. Gerne noch ein paar Minuten mehr. Die Champions aber dominant wie eh und je. Da können die Faces nur eine begrenzte Zeit mithalten. MOTN ist aber der Main Event. Was Mox und Omega hier machen ist schon wieder komplett drüber. Starkes Match der beiden mit vielen hart Aktionen. Der V-Trigger durch den Käfig wird sicherlich in Erinnerung bleiben genau wie der Turn von Don Callis am Ende. Starkes Ende der Show. |

Das Main Event hat mir sehr gut gefallen, ich finde was die Action angeht ist gar nicht mal so viel passiert, jedoch war das Storytelling extrem gut. Auf dem gleichen Niveau wie manch andere das Match aber gesehen haben, ist es für mich nicht gewesen (*** 3/4). |

Auch grade weil Double Or Nothing nicht mehr soweit weg ist. Die Show beginnt direkt mit Fenix vs. Claudio Castagnoli in einem Double Jeopardy Match welches unfassbar stark gewesen ist. Hätte hier lieber Rey Fenix Siegen Sehen, aber bin gespannt mit wem Castagnoli gegen Fenix und Penta gehen wird (****1/2). Dann kommt ein Segment mit den AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR & Jay Lethal + Jeff Jarrett, welches ich überhaupt nicht brauche. Da gibt es im Backstage Bereich deutlich bessere Teams die diesen Spot hätten bekommen sollen. Orange Cassidy vs. Daniel Garcia war gut, aber es ist halt immer das selbe von Dynamite zu Dynamite immer die selben Matches. Irgendwann verblasst leider auch sowas (***1/2). Julia Hart vs. Anna Jay AS war ein Solides No Holds Barred Match. Mehr nicht. Das Six Man Tag Team Match um die AEW Trios Championship's, war dann mal was neues. Eine Komische, aber gute Match Stipulation. Das hier das House Of Black verteidigt war zu erwarten, es war aber ein gutes Match (***1/2). Main Event ein 5 Sterne Classic Steel Cage Match zwischen Kenny Omega & Jon Moxley. Einfach Entertainment Pur. Wow wow wow. Sehr sehr stark. Man greift die Geschichte von beiden nochmal auf, schöne Spots usw. Grade am Ende, dass dann auch noch Don Callis gegen Kenny Omega Turnt ist unglaublich gut gemacht und ein absoluter Shock Moment (*****). Insgesamt eine sehr sehr starke Dynamite Ausgabe. Kann man einfach nur die Volle Punktzahl verteilen. |

Claudio vs Fenix was a good little match. Fenix's high-flying was great as usual, and Claudio's powerhouse offence and strength displays were also impressive. A few bits of awkward chemistry or overly choreographed interactions here and there, but for the most part their interactions were well-executed and fun. ***1/4. The hype videos from the perspective of each of the "4 young pillars" were pretty good, giving a nice look at how each guy thinks and an indication of how they're like outside of the wrestling world. Great to see Miro FINALLY return after God knows how long he was away for. FTR's segment with the Lethal-Jarrett crew and Mark Briscoe was fun, if only for Mark being a loveable goofball as always. I'm not very interested in the tag match with Mark as the guest ref, though, especially since we got a generic 'accidental' spot where Dax piledrived Mark to produce some faux drama for the match. Jericho's backstage promo was good, though I don't imagine he'll be very impressive in that match with Roddy that was set up. Rosa's return did nothing for me, since she's always been massively overrated, if not outright bad. Cassidy vs Garcia was alright but definitely aggravating. Garcia's submission work and limb targeting were actually pretty good, but his attempted heel-character work and most of his other attacks were typically underwhelming. I liked briefly seeing Cassidy's technical abilities, but then a lot of his comebacks were rather weak, and having him get a lucky win after being so heavily dominated was pretty cheesy. **3/4. Christian's promo attacking Arn and Wardlow was very well-delivered and got really good heat. Julia vs Anna was a totally generic, messy hardcore match where none of their weapon/prop spots even looked good, and their actual wrestling interactions were very mediocre or outright sloppy. Very boring match. *3/4. Julia lip-syncing her own entrance theme is massive dork energy, too. The Trios Titles match was alright but pretty forgettable. The best interactions were between Black and Bandido, and Murphy and King did some fun individual stuff, with all working at a good pace though still not doing anything especially creative. What was even more disappointing was the Best Friends, who are beyond stale. I dont even think the 'special rules' actually had a purpose. **3/4. Fletcher attacking Cassidy backstage and then starring at the camera for so long was pretty awkward, though that match-up does interest me. Omega vs Moxley was pretty disappointing. I liked a few things, like the nasty usages of the barbed-wire chair, and some of Omega's offence, but Moxley's consistently bad selling and positioning, their mediocre other weapon/prop spots, their weak 'big moves', and the super underwhelming booking at both the start and end brought everything else down a lot. *** |

On the other hand, I still felt like falling asleep in front of a Daniel Garcia match. He's not bad but I can't get into his moveset. I feel like watching a commercial break in PIP for 10 minutes. |

Amazing opener with Claudio and Fenix geting this is awesome chants 2 minutes after the match started, amazing main event with a great angle, the orange cassidy match was very good as usual, and the house of black matches were good but with very flat finishes. We also got some really nice promos by the four pillars, a killer promo by Christian as usual, a nice angle with FTR vs team TNA, and the return of god's favorite champ Miro....
