[7.0] "A really good show with a terrific opening match and a great closing match with a lot of mediocre stuff in between. Nothing was close to bad, though, so it's get credit for that."
[10.0] "A near-perfect show in my opinion with very few flaws. The matches delivered big time all of them with my favorite being the main event. Other events such as the introduction of TBS title, Darby's promo, Punk calling out Garcia for Rampage and Deebs heel turn greatly enhanced the quality of the show. Malakai's short cameo was a pleasure to watch and I liked the Cody/Arn stuff too. Page's return and subsequent victory however has to be the main highlight and so it deserves a 10 as finally the longest story narrative of the company is about to conclude however there is still much more to witness and experience so really excited for whatever is to come. Tighten your seatblets."
[9.0] "A hell of second anniversary for Dynamite. All matches were good at least, the segmen were hot as well with Black, Punk, Starks & Cage and also TBS title's reveal. Hangman is finally fucking back. Cowboy shit, man."
[6.0] "Decent episode. Main event was very good (***1/2) but the second best match of the night wasn't even close to that (Guevara vs Fish, **1/2). Deeb vs Shida was ok. Opener was a mess unfortunately. Darby vs Comoroto what we saw was good, but it lasted about a minute before going to commercial then ended immediately. What really hurt this episode IMO was the lack of good segments/promos. I'm tired of the Punk Speaks segments already,"
[9.0] "Fantastic show, much better after I watched it a second time. The pacing was great, the opener was fire and I don't care about a silly botch. Trying to powerbomb anyone that big is a challenge and it looked like Luchasaurus was stacked too high for him to sit up properly. I thought Shida vs. Deeb was excellent, and Sammy vs Bobby Fish was very good (would have been better with more time). The ladder match was simply epic and concluded with the right result. One of the best Dynamites ever."
[9.0] "Great show overall, all the matches were at least good and some were great, and the promos were strong as well. Awesome reaction for Page's return, that turned out very good."
[9.0] "Great episode of Dynamite but we didn't need the Allin vs Comoroto match added last minute. Really good matches all throughout the show and building on rivalries too. The return of Brian Cage and Adam Page were also greatly executed. Overall, a great anniversary show and a great dynamite - here's to another year."
[7.0] "An above average episode of Dynamite which mostly went along at a good pace. In an ideal world I would have maybe cut five minutes from the opener or the Darby/Comoroto match entirely and maybe added five more minutes to Shida vs Deeb, but I can't say I'm dissatisfied with how it all came together. Some fun promo stuff too, with the Lambert/Inner Circle thing starting to come together a little better. The only real lowlight for me was the Darby match, which I didn't care for and didn't really feel the need to see, and Sting, who is starting to pick up steam as a rampaging burial machine."
[7.0] "The opener was a mixed bag - fun and exciting, for certain, but two key spots that were supposed to write wrestlers out of the match were both botched and looked incredibly unimpactful, which let down the rest of the match. Punk's promo was good, although a little aimless at times, and the follow-up to the instant-classic Arn Anderson segment from last week was pretty decent. Guevara-Fish was also good - definitely well-wrestled, and everything Fish did looked very legit, even if this wasn't always the most captivating affair. The Top Team beatdown and subsequent Inner Circle run-in was all good fun, especially due to the great crowd reactions. Allin's interview with JR was pretty great, and went someway to undoing the awkwardness of last week's segment. His following match with Comoroto was nothing special, but Comoroto looks like a beast and Sting beating up QT got a pop from me. The segments between Black/Martin and Cage/Starks were both very generic, but the former worked much better because it was at least somewhat unexpected. Deeb-Shida had a great ending sequence but it wasn't as good as I hoped - I definitely think these two are capable of putting on a stronger match together, even if what we got here became pretty awesome by the end. The backstage Pinnacle beatdown was, once again, fun but fairly generic. In a lot of ways, the ladder match wasn't actually that great - some of the competitors struggled to make their presence felt, Archer was booked to look absolutely moronic at one point, and aside from a couple of notable exceptions, nothing TOO crazy went down in terms of spots. However, the surprise entrant and eventual winner was just such a great moment that it overshadows the match's (relative) weaknesses, plus we got that really cool spot with OC essentially using Archer as a climbing frame. A fun show that kept up the energy and pace throughout, but it was a few touches away from being a total winner of an event."
[9.0] "--An incredible anniversary show that highlighted both the original pillars of AEW as well as the new superstars in the company. ----A good mix of matches and promos combined with a hot crowd made this a memorable show. ----There was some worry initially that the AEW originals would be pushed aside by the arrival of new talent but this show was another example that Tony Khan still sees the value in those talents. -----On this show originals like Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Orange Cassidy, Moxley, Shida, Britt Baker and a returning Hangman Page among others all got some time on TV. Hangman Page also got his own 'Stone Cold' pop from the crowd upon his return which was an incredible moment. ----We also got to see CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Malakai Black, Andrade el Idolo, Serena Deeb, FTR, Adam Cole, Ricky Starks, Brian Cage and Sting among others who signed into AEW well after its formation also getting some screen time. -----Currently the roster is stacked with talent but the shows are spread out well enough to make sure everyone gets a chance to shine which is one of the best parts of AEW and what better way to demonstrate how far they have come than their 2nd Anniversary show."
[8.0] "One of AEW's better shows of late. Opener and main event were both solid, the return of Adam Page was well done. Guevara/Fish was fine but had no heat, and the women's match was pretty good as well. Happy Deeb is getting a push. Only thing I didn't really like and thought was a waste of time was Allin's squash. That time could have been given to the women to make that match even better. Alas, it is what it is. Good show overall, but I feel Darby is being a little overexposed."
[7.0] "Every match was at the very least good, the promos were really good, Arn and Cody did amazing in their promo. Overall this was a good episode to make Hangman return on."
[10.0] "What a dynamite to celebrate 2 years of being on TNT! Every match was somewhat enjoyable even if they had their sloppy moments. Cowboy shit is back on the menu and I can't wait for the eventual match. Deeb beating Shida was interesting and would love to see where this leads too."
[8.0] "AEW has really managed to ride this post-All Out wave perfectly, delivering another fantastic show. Really great opener followed by another mercifully brief CM Punk promo. To be clear Punk is always enjoyable on the mic but his little "are you getting sick of me yet? " line he keeps doing is starting to be a little too on the nose, simply because these in-ring promos are all starting to blend together, similar to the first couple months after Sting showed up. Awkward vignette with Arn and Cody, but it did leave me intrigued if nothing else. Sammy vs. Fish was pretty decent, and as much as I love Dan Lambert on the stick I'm not a fan of his MMA goons getting matches. Granted AEW has never tried it before but has this type of MMA invasion angle ever really worked out that well? The TBS Championship is a HUGE mistake on the part of AEW in my opinion. They barely know what to do with one women's championship, and now they want to add a second one? The only logical conclusion I can come to is they're setting up some kind of Dynamite/Rampage brand split for 2022, because another women's singles belt is the absolute last thing the company needs at this time. Give us a trios title already TK, you coward. Typical Darby Allin promo followed by a typical Darby Allin vs. Much Larger Wrestler match followed by typical Sting getting his shit in followed later on by a typical Darby Allin Gets Murdered By Heels Backstage segment. Setup promos for Black/Martin and Cage/Starks where what they were, I dunno. Shida and Deeb have a pretty great match that subverted the expectation that Shida was getting her 50th win, and heel Serena Deeb could lead to some really great things in the future. Fun car crash main event that told a good story, and the prodigal son Hangman Page making his return was awesome. Overall a super enjoyable show with minimal fluff (can Max Caster just fuck off already? ) that went by like a breeze."
[10.0] "Not sure how to rank this on the list of all time great dynamites or the best from this year but it was a fucking great show and that is all that matters, welcome back hangman!"
[8.0] "Very good show. Dynamite continues to be the best weekly show almost always delivering both quality matches as well as giving us fresh storylines. Highlights of the show were Shida being denied her 50th win in AEW, tapping out to Serena Deeb; The opening Eight man Tag match and the return of Adam Page."
[7.0] "good episode, I expected something more from the main event, besides the return of Hangman, there was nothing else special. Guevara vs Fish sufficient match, I'm glad Fish found a federation right away, let's see his role now."
[9.0] "Great show. The opener was full of energy and then it slowed a down a bit. I liked Guevara vs Fish, but the crowd was a bit exhausted after that start and obvious no one would expect Fish to go over. The Main Event was full packed of action and I was pretty sure that Hangman would be the last entrant."
[10.0] "These are the AEW Dynamites with multiple high profile matches that go 10+ and 15+ minutes that AEW needed. The 6 match Dynamites have been decent but this is throwback to my favorite Dynamites at the end of 2019 and the start of 2020 when every match on the show was great or better. Here's to hoping they do more 4-5 match Dynamites."
[9.0] "2 years of Dynamite have flow by quite fast. A great show with mostly great matches and good segments/promos. Opener and main event in particular were great."
