"it can be very interesting going back and watching old random episodes of dark and seeing who on the show has progressed since then, especially seeing where Eddie Kingston or Ricky Starks is now, it's pretty cool. there are a lot of matches, but most of them are quite short so it's not too much of a slog to get through and its still enjoyable for what it is overall with some decent matches at the end."

[5.0] "This was my first time watching a Dark episode. The wrestling itself was actually good, nothing spectacular but very sound and a bit old-fashioned in a good way with a lot of classic squashes. My bone is with the length of the show: eleven matches in a weekly show are simply too much. I understand AEW has already signed far more people than the company needs and keeps on bringing freelancers in so they need to do something with them but this is ridiculous: in a couple of days I won't even remember who was on this show apart from the AEW regulars like the Lucha Brothers. Not bad as a show but questionable format."

[6.0] "This was a solid episode of Dark. Starks vs. Daniels was a decent match although Daniels nearly botched the rope moonsault press again. Lucha Bros match exceeded expectations and was a well worked sorta-squash. Same with Janela & Kiss vs. Garcia & Blackwood. Carter vs. Johnson was a really great match and really showed what they could both do outside the confines of a squash match. Kingston vs. Pillman was well worked but the ending seemed anticlimactic because Kingston's finisher is so weak and Pillman dominated much of the match. Still more good matches than bad and Carter vs. Johnson was a legit ***1/2."

[6.0] "For quality of wrestling, this was one of the better weeks of AEW Dark in quite some time. Had some of the fat been cut, and some kind of follow-up to the Cutler/Avalon angle been given, this might have been a contender for one of the better Dark shows to date."

[7.0] "The show was good, or maybe I found it good after the great performance from Ben Carter and Lee Johnson, what a match they had, the other match looks like fries we watch for fun compared to these two guys"

[7.0] "I still can't get behind the 11 matches card, but this had some decent matches. Starks/Daniels, Lucha Bros, debut of Serena Deeb, Good main event with Kingston and Pillman. I was going to give a 6 but then Ben Carter happened. Match of the night. Two times on Dark, Two of the best matches in Dark history. This guy is a star."
