[8.0] "A great show after two nothing episodes in the buildup to Breakdown. Lots of great stuff happening here but what really stood out to me was how over Rock was getting, with the crowd going crazy for every big move he hit during his match, and completely errupting when he landed the People's Elbow."

[9.0] "Excellent return to form episode of Raw after the previous two filler shows. It is very good with the storyline progression where Undertaker and Kane become heels in the opening segment where it's revealed they made a deal to protect Vince McMahon from Austin when he essentially changed the upcoming Triple Threat match to a handicap match. Rock and Mankind also began to turn face where Rock gets a great reaction from the crowd when he wrestles Kane and Mankind surprisingly comes to his aid when Taker gets involved and nails Kane with the sledgehammer. That match was decent and the Undertaker v Mankind and the Austin v Shamrock matches was also solid and played to that ongoing storyline with Rock, Shamrock and Mankind all positioned well to move up the card. Elsewhere there was a good angle where JJ shows more ruthlessness since his character change and nails Road Dogg in the throat with the guitar. DX have ongoing rivalries with JJ and The Nation and this also ends up running thoughout the show with a memorable match where Chyna finally wrestles Mark Henry with X-Pac as her tag partner, which got some big reactions and ends with a shocking moment where Henry wins with the power slam. This was an excellent show in terms of storytelling minus the uncomfortable Val Venis/Terri video and an above average one in terms of match quality as well, minus Sable vs Jacqueline."

Rock vs Kane was a fun opener and we get glimpses into the near future with a face Rock. HHH vs Owen I struggled with, think I'm ready to see something new there. Loved Mankind vs Taker, as you'd expect and the main was fine too."

[9.0] "Really good show with their being good storyline development with Rock's face turn, Austin against Mcmahon, and the Brothers of Destruction. There are also some solid matches with Rock vs Kane and Austin vs Shamrock. Cool ending with everyone fighting against the Brothers of Destruction, taking them out"

[9.0] "Really good show. The match quality is mostly so-so, but the storylines are developing and going in just the right direction. All the big names are pretty much involved in the same feud, while X-Pac feuds with JJ and the Edge/Gangrel storyline is starting to get a real foothold. The main event features a decent bout between Austin and Shamrock, where Taker, Kane, Mankind and Rocky all find their way to the ring to end the show on a brawl."
