[1.0] "Yeah nah this sucked but in reality, this should've been better. Rock and Triple H had a so so match that didn't quite click as well as you'd expect and the main event had lots of star power but it just dragged and was pretty boring which is a shame. The undercard was garbage which didn't help but yeah in the middle of some great business, a bad show here that is not worth viewing"

[6.0] "Fully Loaded 1998 isn't an essential PPV as it's more focused on setting up the Austin v Taker main event at Summerslam, but I didn't think the show was that bad. The tag main event was solid with some good storylines in play, Rock v Triple H in the 2 out of 3 falls match was a hidden gem and I thought Venis v Jarrett and X-Pac v D'Lo was decent as well with the DX v Nation rivalry continuing to get chaotic. Shamrock vs Owen in the dungeon was also very entertaining. Unfortunately there was a bad stretch of matches in the middle of the show and it's not great seeing LOD, Vader and Terry Funk all looking past it. Of course the real thing Vince McMahon/Russo used to promote the show was the NSFW Sable v Jackie bikini contest."

[7.0] "Another underrated show with a strong main event, despite the claim it felt like a raw main event, it was a strong match which saw the turn of undertaker teased as he was motivated by Austins title. God awful match between mark Henry and Vader was the low point of the night"

[4.0] "In your house continues its streak of below par PPV's. Venis/Jarrett is a solid opening match that picks up some speed by the end with Double J playing the heel role with ease as always. Don't know why Venis wasn't wrestling someone from Kai En Tai though since they were feuding (6/10) D'Lo/Xpac is another decent undercard match with the high speed style of X pac making Brown's power moves look killer. Title should've been on the line (6/10) Funk/Bradshaw vs Scorpio/Faarooq is a nothing match with some sloppy sequences all just building to Bradshaw turning heel. Would've been better if he teamed with Funk for a bit longer before it (4/10) Henry/Vader is pretty rough with a botched slam early on and just power moves without much interest. Vader was somehow still over despite the awful booking but this was awful (2/10) DOA/LOD is just what you would expect from these teams at this time. A few decen moments from Animal a whole lot of nothing from their opponents and the finish making the Road Warriors look dumb. Also Paul Ellering was there for some reason (3/10) The Dungeon match is an interesting change of pace with Owen and Shamrock being intese but its very short to be much of anything (5/10) Rock/Triple H is MOTN. the 30 minutes do feel pretty long at times but they do their best to try and keep excitement with the interference and signature spots (7/10) The bikini contest that gets hyped all over the show happens next and its just Attitude Era fanservice nonsense that shouldn't be wasting time. The Main Event is a decent brawl with Foley taking a few killer bumps and Austin bringing the spedd during moments. Crowd is into it as always and its mostly enjoyable. It does make it feel like the Tag Title don't really matter when they're just props for other singles feuds"

[5.0] "Well it was another mixbag and it wasn't helped by the fact that the most promoted thing on the show was Sable's bikini. The opener was fine - Venis' gimmick is rotten, but he was a babyface against Jarrett, so the contest had a nice structure and a pleasant fast pace. D-Lo looked great with his facial expressions and overall charisma against X-Pac who made him look even bigger, while the Tag Team Match was okay, although nothing to write home about. Henry vs Vader wasn't as awful as some people say, but still it had some sloppy moments. DoA vs LOD on the other hand was better than I expected, but still I was sick of these two teams, especially Harris Brothers. Owen vs Shamrock was weird and I don't know how to rate it - I would much rather prefer a normal match between these two. The Rock vs Triple H was the best thing on the PPV and they pulled all the tricks to make it as exciting as possible. The interferences were perfectly timed, the work was good and they had some very nice false finishes without overdoing them. Then the stripping contest happened so that was a skip for me, but luckily the main event ended everything on a positive note. All-star main event without anything fancy - just four guys with everybody being over having a story-driven Tag Team Match. Really good stuff with tension between Austin and Taker being the best part of the bout. So overall it obviously had some great moments especially near the main event, but some of the stuff here was underwhelming or just russoesque."

"Watching the entire show was really kind of laborious. High point was the rock triple h match which, while it was by no means a classic it was still enjoyable. Liked the novelty of the dungeon match though it felt like it was lacking something. Overall a completely forgettable ppv"

[3.0] "This show sucked! Rock/HHH had the potential for something good but the gratuitous levels they went to to keep both guys strong and tease the fans into buying next months PPV bugged me. This felt more like a Monday Night Raw than a mediocre PPV. A filler PPV in every sense of the word. Vader/Henry and LOD/DOA were atrocious as well!"
Derek Joists wrote on 12.06.2022:
[3.0] "This was pretty much "Vince Russo - The PPV", and it was just as awful as that suggests. The points it gets are for the wrestlers who did their best despite the abysmal booking that treated championships as meaningless props for dull stories, and mistreated women in a way that would have horrified ECW at its worst. It also seemed like an advert for RAW at times, defeating the object of having a PPV. The Attitude Era had it's highs, but there were also some massive lows such as this."

[4.0] "A stepdown from the king of the ring as this PPV saw last good matches. The MOTN being a sub-5 minute in the Hart Family Dungeon is hilarious, although Rock/ Triple H was a good 30-minute match between the two and a breakout performance for both of them. The main event was a good way to advance the Undertaker conspiracy storyline. Matches from best to worst: Hart/Shamrock ***1/2, Rock/Triple H ***1/2, Austin & Taker/Kane & Mankind ***, Pac/Brown **1/2, Venis/Jarrett **1/2, Farooq & Scorpio/ Bradshaw & Funk **, Henry/Vader *, DOA/LOD 1/2*"

[5.0] "Not every PPV can be a slam dunk. WWF had a couple real huge PPVs in 98, but this wasn't one of them. I can't stand Val Venis so the opener was a rough one for me. D-Lo and X-Pac was pretty solid, though I really dont care for the protection vest thing D-Lo's wearing, which only seems to matter at all in very specific situations. I don't really get the Hart Dungeon match either, but I suppose it gave for a bit of a different dynamic in a match. The 2 out of 3 falls match was pretty good, though with JR mentioning the time limit early and the match slowing to a crawl at points you kinda knew what would end up happening. Repeated attempts at interference, some successful, most not, but the match ends in a draw. The main event was a big deal, but moreso because of the stories than the match itself. No-one trusts anyone, least of all Austin and Taker, anda fter they get the win Taker grabs both belts and leaves. Oh, and there's that stupid bikini fanservice thing. Could've done without it."

[5.0] "The first half of this card was lackluster with the exception of JJ vs Val Venis, Owen vs Shamrock is an acceptable match, Triple H vs The Rock is a really good match and the Tag Team match is decent."

[5.0] "The main event for the Tag Team Championship was a fun one featuring some of the biggest names of the time, and Austin and Taker winning the belts together was an interesting development in their story. Rock vs. HHH was decent, though outshined by their match at Summerslam the following month. The Hart Dungeon match was a neat idea and fun for the most part, but the end (with Owen making an unconsious Shamrock "tap" in full view of Severn) was kind of lame. Jarrett vs Venis was a solid opener. Overall, though, this was kind of a middle-of-the-road, filler event, and the main topic of commentary throughout the show being Sable's outfit (or lack thereof) for the bikini contest shows the company's priorities for it."

[5.0] "Two hours of nothing and a good final hour. Well, Jarrett vs Val Venis isn't a bad match at all, but DOA vs Legion of Doom is one of the worst matches of all time and the turn of Bradshaw makes no sense. Mark Henry vs Vader is disappointing. The show starts to be good with Owen Hart vs Ken Shamrock and there is a great 30 minutes match between The Rock and Triple H. The main event isn't special but it still has a tag team full of star power."
jboyaquar wrote on 18.07.2016:
[6.0] "This rating is for Owen/Shamrock only: I rather enjoyed these five minutes until the finish; the crafting makes referee Severn look like an idiot or a dumb-heel as it's too obvious it's Owen whose slapping a hand on the 'mat. ' Why not have the same finish, but Shamrock's knocked-out from the barbell and thus cannot answer the referee's calls. Both men take a credible beating inside the Hart Family Dungeon as I was left unclear whether it would be easier to run off-the-ropes or get slammed into the wood paneling. A novelty to be sure but for the time it was just fine."

[2.0] "This show is a microcosm of all of the bad parts of the Attitude Era; the wrestling was subpar and a lot of things were left unfinished, aka tune into Raw (the free show) to find out what happens next… The Rock and Triple H got their first taste of the big time and Rock would receive his bump up the card later in the year and Triple H got his the next year; interesting seeing them in the baby steps, actually maybe more like the teenage years, of their careers. The main event was just a vehicle to build up to Summerslam. Everything else was totally forgettable"
