[7.0] "Both Slater and Rhyno Vs Usos and Orton Vs Wyatt were solid, Styles Vs Cena Vs Ambrose is real fantastic and and Ziggler Vs Miz title vs career is phenomenal, but Nikki Vs Carmella was weak, both Swagger Vs Corbin and Bliss Vs Naomi were really awful and the match order was weirdly formatted with Orton Vs Wyatt not being strong enough to main event the show and either one of the top matches of the show should've main evented instead. Overall despite its weird match order and middling undercard and main event, WWE No Mercy (2016) is a solid show thanks mostly for its top two matches."

[8.0] "The order aside, a decent show with 2 great matches: the WWE Championship match as well as that amazing IC title match with Miz and Ziggler. Nikki and Carmella's bad blood was interesting but didnt come into the ring imo. Becky being sick was unfortunate but allowed Naomi some time to shine (or glow... ) Bray and Randy never really had any great matches but Luke Harper's return made for an interesting addition to this story that is just starting to heat up."

Styles/Cena/Ambrose was a fast paced fluid triple threat that entertained greatly (****1/4), Bella/Carmella was boring (*1/2), the tag match was fun (***), Corbin/Swagger was way better than I was expecting (**3/4), Ziggler/Miz should have main evented in a highly emotional brilliantly worked match (****3/4), Naomi/Bliss was bad (*), and Wyatt/Orton was an average brawl with a nice ending (**1/2)."

Great effort from both of them. Good storytelling-1 of the best match in wwe in 2016. The rest- not much. Tag title match was decent, so was corbin/swagger. Nikki/carmella, bliss/naomi and orton/wyatt sucked. So a 5."

Wyatt vs Orton was just solid (**3/4). The rest to throw. Positive was Luke Harper's return. Very strange schedule of matches. Why WWE Championship Match was opener. Why Ziggler vs Miz didn't be Main Event. And finally.. WHY WYATT VS ORTON WAS MAIN EVENT? !"

[6.0] "An oddball WWE PPV offering that arranged this night like an errant Beyond wrestling card. It made absolutely zero sense to end the show with Wyatt/Orton... ZERO. The Miz/Ziggler had a tremensoudly worked match with an enormous emotional payoff and yet audiences tonight left the show with the blah that was Wyatt/Orton. No offense to L Harper, of whom I've been a fan of since his feud with Claudio in Chikara '08, but his return and the subsequent Wyatt victory is not how I want a PPV to end. Credit to the K Kardashian of WWE, N Bella, for getting vengeance but hopefully 'The Bella's' reality show will be a flop so that Nikki isn't thrusted once again to the championship. I was mildly surprised the Slater/Rhyno team held onto the titles but I assume they'll lose 'em after the Election cycle ends and Rhyno either wins/loses his MI campaign. The match was the same 'ol story - Slater selling until the Rhyno comeback/Gore. B Corbin runs in a circle of people who fetishize dead stuff which to me is ironic considering how lifeless and flat his personality is. I don't get #1 contender A Bliss losing, but it is a sign that mgmt is not behind her which is a shame because despite her lack of physical stature she has an appealing bratty spunk. Granted, her mic work proves she's not great at reciting from a script, and her lips are not voluptuous enough to justify the quantity of silver lipstick, but she bounces off the ropes like the cutest Smurf and she has a quality finisher."

Orton vs. Bray was acceptable but nothing great (**1/4). I try and still care about bray but it's so hard at this point. The return of Luke Harper at least added something to finish off the show so it didn't end too badly. An average show, 2 good matches and a return with a whole lot of average."

[6.0] "Not nearly as strong as the first SD-exclusive PPV of the new brand split (Backlash), No Mercy had two standout matches in the Styles-Cena-Ambrose main, which was booked perfectly for what it needed to accomplish (Styles outsmarts and pins Cena yet again, writing Cena out for filming his show and adding fuel to the fire for their confrontation when he returns, and giving Ambrose an excuse to continue feuding with Styles in the meantime), and a very good Ziggler-Miz main event that completed its story and made the IC Title look important. Wyatt vs. Orton and the Tag Title match were also solid, and the Corbin-Swagger match, while mainly filler, was a pretty good hard-hitting brawl with some good psychology. The rest was rather unremarkable. The show was also hurt a bit by its match order, with the main going on first to avoid going up against the Presidential debate; just switching the order of Wyatt-Orton and the IC Title match would have done wonders to solve this issue as the show would then be bookended by its two strongest matches."

Also, the Three Way match (main event or not) delivers with many trademarks from Cena, Ambrose and AJ Styles. I don't like the ending with the chair, but it's great. Wyatt vs Orton is disappointing, boring match. The two women's match are almost unwatchable, Corbin vs Swagger is okay, but I prefer their match on Smackdown. It's not an impressive event but with two great matches it's easy to appreciate it."

[9.0] "A very good show put on in the wrong order. It's a shame that WWE wanted to change the whole flow of the card in order to work around the Presidental debate, especially after they had to cancel the Women's Title match. Styles/Cena/Ambrose was a very good 3-Way exchange of moves that was held together by AJ's smoothness and a couple strong story beats (****). Bella/Carmella was a passable match that had some heat to it (**1/2). The rematch for the Tag Team Titles was better than the Backlash match and had some great work from Slater, while also featuring a double build to hot tags from both faces, which is one of my favorite things you can do in a tag team match; Rhyno having his team retain was a surprise (***1/2). Corbin vs Swagger was actually a good midcard hossfight that showed that both of these guys are underrated at the moment (***1/4). Ziggler vs Miz had so much going into it and had so much put into it that I'd end up restating everything in my Matchguide comment for it; a fantastic match that's the best singles match from either man (****1/2). I actually didn't see Naomi/Bliss, but it's weird that Bliss lost. I was a fan of the Wyatt/Orton storyline, and until the IC Title match blew me away I thought it main eventing was a neat idea, but then I realize that this match was almost certainly put together to be in the upper-midcard and could NOT follow Ziggler & Miz (which is weird to type as I like Bray and Randy much more than Dolph overall and Miz in the ring). It was still a good match, but not meant to main event, and with a crowd burnt out from two matches that could've fit in that spot much more easily (***1/4-***1/2). Not as tight of a show as Backlash, but a little better in-ring, and overall great."

[5.0] "Was tempted to give this show a 6 based on the two great matches we got here, but the rest of the show unfortunately didn't match them. A very oddly produced show, especially with decisions such as putting the world title match on first and the Orton/Wyatt match last. Styles/Ambrose/Cena was a thrilling triple threat, mostly carried by Styles, but let down a bit by the stupid booking (***3/4), Nikki/Carmella absolutely sucked apart from Nikki's awesome forearm, Carmella looks absolutely out of her depth on the main roster (*3/4), Slater and Rhyno Vs The Usos meandered at first but eventually built to a hot conclusion, pleasantly surprised at Heath and Rhyno retaining as well (**3/4), Corbin/Swagger was..... uh.... there.... decent stuff from Corbin here though (**), Ziggler/Miz was an amazing MOTY contender, absolutely stellar stuff, career best work from both men (****1/2), Bliss/Naomi was just awful and the decision to have Naomi pin the fucking number one contender was arse backwards booking at its worst (*), and Wyatt/Orton was average, being in the main event definitely hurt it (**1/2). Second WWE PPV in a row where the talent tried, but the booking let them down."

[5.0] "Very weird show, and I am not talking about the match order only. This was on its way to being a thumbs up show, but final 2 matches just sucked. 3 way match was excellent, loved it (**** 1/4), Carmella/Nikki was just there (**), Tag title match was good (** 3/4) and so was Corbin/Swagger, altough it should have gone a little bit longer (** 1/2). Miz/Ziggler was the highlight of the show, excellent match, a WWE MOTYC (**** 1/2), but then we got Bliss vs Naomi which is a great material for next botchamania episode, but not for the WWE PPV. I gave this a DUD. And then the "main event" was yet another terrible match, just proving that both Wyatt and especially Orton are overrated (*). 2 matches you need to watch, the rest.. not so much. Thumbs in the middle show."

[5.0] "This show had it's ups and downs, not as bad as a lot of people think. I guess some of them are disappointed about Becky being unable to compete so the match between her and Alexa didn't happen. Speaking of Alexa, what I don't get is why have Naomi beat her when they promised her a shot at Becky on November 8 in Scotland. Are they planning on putting Naomi in the title picture somehow? There's a lot more fans that would NOT like that than ones that would. The match was OK, not as bad as many claim, probably just mad about Naomi winning more than anything. Anyway, I understand the World title triple threat match being first because of the presidential debate in the U. S. and it was a very good match but regardless of why it put the match order out of whack. Miz vs Ziggler was the match of the night with a surprise result since many were expecting Ziggler to lose and leave WWE. Nikki vs Carmella was OK, not as bad as many claim. Harper returning was a good moment. Average show overall."

[5.0] "A pretty underwhelming show. The WWE Championship Triple Threat starting the show made sense given the US Presidential Debate, but after that everything felt weak by comparison. That is, except for the Ziggler vs Miz 'Career vs Title' match, both Ziggler and Miz told a great story and the match had the crowd on the edge of their seat, it should have closed the show instead of Orton vs Wyatt. Orton vs Wyatt was okay at best but Harper returning was a fine moment."

[0.0] "I absolutely loved Backlash & Clash of Champions, but the 3rd PPV since the brand split, No Mercy totally sucked. Legitimately one of the worst wrestling shows that I've watched. The opener for the World Championship between AJ, Cena & Dean was bad, poorly structured 3-way dance (*), Nikki/Carmella happened (*), the tag title match had potential as I loved their meeting at Backlash, but the re-match was just bad (*), Corbin/Swagger was a total exhibition filler match with no heat (*), heard great things about the Career vs. Title match, but I thought it was awful (*), it's a shame that Alexa/Becky didn't happen, because that could've been solid - Naomi/Bliss sucked (*) & the main event between Bray & Orton was a total bore (*). 1 star matches, 1 star matches everywhere! Terrible show."

[4.0] "Really poorly booked, produced, and put together show. First of all, only the world title triple threat and Ziggler vs. Miz were truly worth watching. The triple threat was a great match, but there were some pretty severe botches and booking flubs that hurt it for me and prevented it from becoming a classic. Still enjoyed the hell out of it, though. Ziggler vs. Miz was well-worked and had an absolutely incredible last five minutes, but the majority of the match wasn't much different than the other matches they've had together, so I don't think it's the masterpiece that others are calling it. Every other match ranged from average to outright bad. Bray vs. Orton was mediocre and a totally undeserving main event even if I loved the return. The tag title match was decent. Not sure about the finish, but Slater and Rhyno are over so it is what it is. Corbin vs. Swagger happened. Both women's matches really exposed Smackdown's women's division as lacking in in-ring talent compared to Raw. There's a good goddamn reason why the Four Horsewomen got over like they did: they're just on another level from the Naomis, Nikkis, and Carmellas of the wrestling world. The worst thing, however, was the match order and the production flubs. There were a few mis-timed previews that made the show come off as amateurish. And the match order... look, I know they wanted to get the triple threat out of the way before the presidential debate, but oh God it just killed the rest of the show pacing-wise. After such an intense match, the rest of the show just dragged. Failed experiment that lead to making the show even worse than it already was."

[8.0] "Really good show that was hurt by it's very awkward card positioning. WWE title triple threat I thought was awesome. It may have just been all of their signature moves thrown in together but I liked it, much more than I enjoyed the Styles vs Cena finisher fest. It didn't go by typical triple threat formula's and consistently used all 3 men. All looked strong ****1/2. Bella vs Carmella was average **. Tag title was good ***1/2. Swagger vs Corbin. Miz vs Ziggler was epic with such great false finishes, best of Miz's career ****1/2. Naomi vs Bliss was average **. Wyatt vs Orton was a good midcard match, but only a decent main event ***1/4. The pop for Harper was awesome. Enjoyed this more than COC"

All the other matches ranged from **1/2-DUD. Wyatt Vs Orton was easily the worst PPV main event in quite a few years. Overall pretty bad PPV."

The Bad - Both Women's matches & Wyatt vs Orton. Corbin vs Swagger was a nothing match, the match was booked well though with Swagger losing but coming out protected this time. Plenty of satisfactory moments, Miz vs Ziggler is a must watch, one of the best WWE matches this year, as a whole 6/10 for this event is about right."
