Schön schnell und spannend gehalten, mit einigen guten Sequenzen zu dritt. Mich stört halt einfach, dass Cena nach einem Stuhlschlag an den Rücken gepinnt wird (****). Nikki vs Carmella fand ich erstaunlicherweise gar nicht mal so schlecht, nichts besonderes, bisschen langatmig, aber der richtige Sieger (**). Das Tag Team Match an sich war wirklich nicht schlecht, schöne Moves gutes Pacing, was mich stört ist dass die Usos nicht gewinnen durften und der Tag Joke wieder überspitzt wird (**¼). Was folgte war dann das Toilettenpausen Match, was aber vergleichsweise zu anderen auch nicht so schlecht war, gut dass Corbin gewinnen konnte (*½). Das IC Titel Match war sehr gut. Es ist perfekt wie man die komplette Story in's Match mit einfließen lassen hat, perfekte NearFalls, unglaubliche Spannung und ein FeelGood Moment, hätte ruhig der Main Event sein sollen (****¼ + MOTN). Das Women Title Match fiel ja bekanntlich aus und so bekam man Alexa vs. Naomi, womit ich mich nicht nur vom Match sondern auch vom Ausgang her gar nicht anfreunden konnte (DUD); Wyatt vs. Orton war dann nach 2 vorher wirklich starken TopMatches nicht zufriedenstellend, Kaum Pacing, schwache Chemie, doch mit dem Angriff von Harper kam dann noch ein bisschen Farbe rein(*¾). Die 2 sehr guten Matches gleichen die vergleichsweise echt schwachen Matches so gut wie möglich aus, trotzdem bleibt das gerade noch über dem Strich: 5. 40/10 |

Einige schöne Double Spots und andere schöne Spots (Avalanche AA, Apron Suplex, Double AA Tease), viele extrem gute Nearfalls in einer fantastischen und extrem spannenden Schlussphase, großartiges Big Match Feeling, phänomenale Konter und Konterserien (u. a. Phenomenal Forearm into Dirty Deeds gekontert von AJ in den Styles Clash bis Cena den STF ansetzt), weitere fantastische Sequenzen, der Double Tap Spot war großartig eingebracht und trägt zum sehr guten Storytelling in Bezug auf AJs Situation in diesem Match sehr gut bei, so auch die Szene als Ambrose AJ vom Tappen verhindert, das Finish war dann gut gemacht auch in Bezug auf AJs Story, aber etwas unglaubwürdig in Bezug auf Cena. Insgesamt dennoch ein hervorragendes Match (****)! Nikki vs. Carmella war okay. Carmella teilweise unsauber. Intensität war vorhanden, Schlussphase geht klar (**½). Nikkis Attire nebenbei angemerkt sehr geil. Das TT Titel Match war gut. Sehr spannend gegen Ende hin in einer guten Schlussphase, Powerbomb vom Top Rope dazu ein netter Spot (***¼). Corbin vs. Swagger war okay (**½). Miz/Ziggler Promoclip großartig! Das IC Title Match zwischen Miz & Ziggler war fantastisch! Sehr großes Big Match Feeling, großartige Spannung mit wunderbaren Nearfalls in einer phänomenalen Schlussphase, die Szene mit dem Spray großartig eingebracht, Dolph sellt fantastisch, SCF Nearfall nach Spirit Squad Eingriff großartig! Auf emotionaler Ebene göttlich, fantastisches Storytelling mit Feel-Good-Moment am Ende! Insgesamt ein grandioses Match (****½ + MotN). Naomi vs. Bliss war schlecht (*). Wyatt/Orton Promoclip großartig! Wyatt vs. Orton war solide, hatte ganz nette Transitions, Finish war gut gemacht. Freut mich, dass Harper zurück ist (***). Insgesamt sind das dann 6, 86 von 10 Punkten - 'sehr solide'. |

ZERO. The Miz/Ziggler had a tremensoudly worked match with an enormous emotional payoff and yet audiences tonight left the show with the blah that was Wyatt/Orton. No offense to L Harper, of whom I've been a fan of since his feud with Claudio in Chikara '08, but his return and the subsequent Wyatt victory is not how I want a PPV to end. Credit to the K Kardashian of WWE, N Bella, for getting vengeance but hopefully 'The Bella's' reality show will be a flop so that Nikki isn't thrusted once again to the championship. I was mildly surprised the Slater/Rhyno team held onto the titles but I assume they'll lose 'em after the Election cycle ends and Rhyno either wins/loses his MI campaign. The match was the same 'ol story - Slater selling until the Rhyno comeback/Gore. B Corbin runs in a circle of people who fetishize dead stuff which to me is ironic considering how lifeless and flat his personality is. I don't get #1 contender A Bliss losing, but it is a sign that mgmt is not behind her which is a shame because despite her lack of physical stature she has an appealing bratty spunk. Granted, her mic work proves she's not great at reciting from a script, and her lips are not voluptuous enough to justify the quantity of silver lipstick, but she bounces off the ropes like the cutest Smurf and she has a quality finisher. |

Das Tag Team Match ist dann eigentlich ganz okay und hat mit Rhyno und Slater auch die richtigen Sieger - die Usos brauche ich nicht mehr, auch wenn sie jetzt Heel sind. Auch Corbin ist an diesem Abend erfolgreich, was ich ebenfalls begrüße. Aber dieses Match muss man sich nicht geben. Danach folgt das Highligth der Show, nämlich der IC Titel Kampf. Echt starke Partie, welche uns Miz und Ziggler hier präsentieren - zumal auch der Titelwechsel völlig okay ist. Auch das zweite Match der Damen enttäuscht. Schlechter Tag für die Damen. Der Mainer hat mit der Rückkehr von Harper einen dicken Pluspunkt, kann aber trotzdem nur stellenweise überzeugen. Wyatt als Sieger ist nachvollziehbar. Kein schlechter, aber auch nicht wirklich guter PPV, somit sehe ich hier 5 Punkte für angemessen. |

Wyatt vs. Orton and the Tag Title match were also solid, and the Corbin-Swagger match, while mainly filler, was a pretty good hard-hitting brawl with some good psychology. The rest was rather unremarkable. The show was also hurt a bit by its match order, with the main going on first to avoid going up against the Presidential debate; just switching the order of Wyatt-Orton and the IC Title match would have done wonders to solve this issue as the show would then be bookended by its two strongest matches. |

Es gibt 3 groß angelegte Matches, von denen 2 wirklich gut sind aber danach kommt zu wenig und es gibt hier sehr viele Filler. Der Opener ist klasse, abgesehen von AJ's Aufgabe. Bella vs. Carmella war okay, Slater & Rhyno vs. Usos, sowie Swagger vs. Corbin jeweils solide. Ziggler vs. Miz ist das beste Match, welches man aus dieser Paarung herausholen konnte, super Dramatik zum Ende und einfach ein gutes Match. Naomi vs. Bliss war gar nichts und erinnert an frühere Tage der Diven. Bliss ist einfach noch nicht bereit für das Main Roster. Main Event fand ich leider nur solide, so viel passiert gar nicht, dazu eine dämliche Senton auf die Treppe, als Orton sich schon minutenlang weggerollt hatte und dann dieses nervende Finish mit dem Run-In. Nicht falsch verstehen, ich freue mich sehr, dass Luke Harper wieder zurück ist aber ich mochte das Finish nicht. |

Die klimatische Reihenfolge kommt damit etwas durcheinander. Nichtsdestotrotz ist das Match an sich in Ordnung, wobei man da auch Styles weiter stärkt, was für den Main-Event bei SmackDown! ganz wichtig ist. Das andere Higlight der Show ist ganz klar der Titelgewinn Zigglers, wo es endlich zum Payback-Moment kommt und Miz großspurige Titelregentschaft ein vorübergehendes Ende findet. Diesem Gürtel hat die Fehde ziemlich geholfen. Der Rest der Show unterscheidet sich kaum von einer mittelmässigen SD! Episode. Die Damen sind in beiden Matches grandios mies, dazu gesellt sich die Frage, warum Alexa Bliss im Titelpicture hier schon von Naomi beerdigt wird. Corbin und Slater können das ebenso bei Superstars ausfechten und der Mainer ist in meinen Augen irgendwie billig - klar ist der zurückkehrende Harper ein Faktor, aber Orton und Wyatt haben bis dahin nur wenig Chemie und besonders Randy verfällt in ungeliebte Tempo-Verhaltensmuster. Bei aller Liebe, nur zwei richtig solide Matches und ein Sturm im Wasserglas - da will ich nicht mit mehr als fünf Punkten rausrücken. |

Ich fand das Match sehr stark und ich habe es einfach genossen, da ich mit allen drei Champions sehr gut klar komme. Die Aufgabe von Styles durch beide war einfach nur geil gebookt ( finde ich ). Was mich ein wenig aufgeregt hat ist, dass Cena nach einem Stuhlschlag direkt komplett fertig war. Der Show-Stealer des Abends war das IC-Title Match. Das Match war einfach so gut, dass ich vorm Fernseher stand und ich komplett mitgefiebert habe. Das Ziggler gewonnen hat ist für mich vollkommen in Ordnung, da auch er grandios ist. The Miz hat mir als IC - Champ gut gefallen, aber ich denke, dass Ziggler es auch gut machen wird. Was mich an der Show aufgeregt hat ist, dass im Main-Event Orton vs Wyatt war. Wenn der Worldtitel schon nicht das Main-Event ist, dann hätte man Ziggler vs Miz auch da rein stellen können. Insgesamt jedoch ein sehr guter Event mit ein paar Kratzern, daher von mir 8/10 Punkten. |

Es ist extrem unglaubwürdig und einfach nur, oh guck mal der schafft noch 5 knappe kickouts... Sorry das war doch keine gute Show, abgesehen vom Wrestling an sich. |

Styles/Cena/Ambrose was a very good 3-Way exchange of moves that was held together by AJ's smoothness and a couple strong story beats (****). Bella/Carmella was a passable match that had some heat to it (**1/2). The rematch for the Tag Team Titles was better than the Backlash match and had some great work from Slater, while also featuring a double build to hot tags from both faces, which is one of my favorite things you can do in a tag team match; Rhyno having his team retain was a surprise (***1/2). Corbin vs Swagger was actually a good midcard hossfight that showed that both of these guys are underrated at the moment (***1/4). Ziggler vs Miz had so much going into it and had so much put into it that I'd end up restating everything in my Matchguide comment for it; a fantastic match that's the best singles match from either man (****1/2). I actually didn't see Naomi/Bliss, but it's weird that Bliss lost. I was a fan of the Wyatt/Orton storyline, and until the IC Title match blew me away I thought it main eventing was a neat idea, but then I realize that this match was almost certainly put together to be in the upper-midcard and could NOT follow Ziggler & Miz (which is weird to type as I like Bray and Randy much more than Dolph overall and Miz in the ring). It was still a good match, but not meant to main event, and with a crowd burnt out from two matches that could've fit in that spot much more easily (***1/4-***1/2). Not as tight of a show as Backlash, but a little better in-ring, and overall great. |

(Cesaro, Sheamus, Neville und Zyan wären bei SD wohl besser gesetzt). Nun gut ist aber nicht. Smackdown hat zurzeit 3 Fehden die gut sind und eben diese merkt man auch bei diesem PPV. Jedoch mit dem klar sehr gut besetzten World Titel Match zu beginnen sehe ich als sehr Schwach für den weiteren Abend. Orton vs Wyatt ist ganz klar kein Main Event. Man hätte den Abend noch mit Miz vs Ziggler beenden können um immerhin ein Feel Good Moment zu haben. Auch das ist hier leider nicht passiert. Das Tag Team Titel Match ist für mich vollkommen okay. Jedoch der Rest ist entweder nicht gut(Diven Matches) oder eben nicht gut genug aufgebaut(Swagger vs Corbin). Nun haben wir hiermit ein sehr altes Problem zurück, was ich nicht zurück haben wollte. Beim ersten Roster Split habe ich die Big 4 sowie die Raw PPVs regelmäßig geschaut. Ich hoffe das nur dieser SD PPV so schlecht war, sonst werde ich das wohl auch in der heutigen Zeit wieder machen. |

Styles/Ambrose/Cena was a thrilling triple threat, mostly carried by Styles, but let down a bit by the stupid booking (***3/4), Nikki/Carmella absolutely sucked apart from Nikki's awesome forearm, Carmella looks absolutely out of her depth on the main roster (*3/4), Slater and Rhyno Vs The Usos meandered at first but eventually built to a hot conclusion, pleasantly surprised at Heath and Rhyno retaining as well (**3/4), Corbin/Swagger was..... uh.... there.... decent stuff from Corbin here though (**), Ziggler/Miz was an amazing MOTY contender, absolutely stellar stuff, career best work from both men (****1/2), Bliss/Naomi was just awful and the decision to have Naomi pin the fucking number one contender was arse backwards booking at its worst (*), and Wyatt/Orton was average, being in the main event definitely hurt it (**1/2). Second WWE PPV in a row where the talent tried, but the booking let them down. |

This was on its way to being a thumbs up show, but final 2 matches just sucked. 3 way match was excellent, loved it (**** 1/4), Carmella/Nikki was just there (**), Tag title match was good (** 3/4) and so was Corbin/Swagger, altough it should have gone a little bit longer (** 1/2). Miz/Ziggler was the highlight of the show, excellent match, a WWE MOTYC (**** 1/2), but then we got Bliss vs Naomi which is a great material for next botchamania episode, but not for the WWE PPV. I gave this a DUD. And then the "main event" was yet another terrible match, just proving that both Wyatt and especially Orton are overrated (*). 2 matches you need to watch, the rest.. not so much. Thumbs in the middle show. |

Der PPV hatte mit dem World und IC Title Match zwei richtig gute Matches, allerdings war der Rest nicht gerade das gelbe vom Ei. Corbin vs. Swagger und Bliss vs. Naomi haben mir leider echt nicht gefallen, auch wenn beim zweiten ja leider improvisieren musste. Carmella vs. Nikki und das Tag Title Match waren durchaus solide, aber leider auch nicht viel besser als Standart SmackDown Niveau. Orton vs. Wyatt war ganz nett, aber nicht unbedingt würdig für einen PPV Main Event. An dieser Show konnte man wirklich den dünnen Roster von SD sehen und normalerweise müssten die Raw PPV's deutlich besser sein von der Matchqualität. Dennoch hat man auch hier die Storys gut weitergeführt. |
