Zu den Überraschungen an dem Abend gehört für mich das CHAOS (Ishii & Goto) vs LIJ (EVIL & BUSHI)(***1/2). Auch das Never Title & NEVER 6 Man Tag Team Match waren mehr als anständig (***)&(***1/4) Dass TT Championship Match gehört sicher zu den schwächeren Matches an diesem Abend war aber auch mehr als solide(**3/4). Zu den Highlights der Show gehören mei er Meinung nach das Jr Tag Match (****) & Main Event (****1/4) auch wenn ich mir ein Pop für SANADA's Debüt gewünscht hätte, war dieses Match und alles was Nach dem Match passierte einfach Awesome! Das MotN war ganz klar dass Jr Heavyweight Match (****1/2)Das war klasse Werbung für die Junior Division und ein gelungenes Debüt von Ospreay bei NJPW. Nach Wrestle Kingdom die zweitbeste Show bisher deshalb bekommt Invasion Attack 2016 auch 9 Punkte von mir. |

Great Bash Heel vs Guerrillas Of Destiny was a fine match but a bit slow and basic and Tanga Loa looked quite weak in terms of ability in the ring ***. And an acceptably good main event to finish it off ****1/4. A good show, no 10/10 classics but consistent good wrestling ranging from good to very good with no bad or awful matches. Very good show. |

Sydal & Ricochet vs. Roppongi Vice was a very good tag team match. ***3/4. KUSHIDA vs Ospreay was a brilliant match and a great debut for Will Ospreay. ****1/4. the Elite vs Takahashi, Elgin & Yoshitatsu was a very entertaining match, which the crowd were very into. I also liked the Jeff Hardy like swanton off the tunnel in the crowd. ***3/4. Shibata vs Tenzan was good and had some nice strong style wrestling, but honestly wasn't as good i'd thought it would be. ***1/4. Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma vs. Guerrillas Of Destiny was alright. **1/2 Okada vs Naito was a fantastic match, but Ive honestly seen Okada have better matches, but I still thought the match was very good. ****. |

Chaos vs. Los Ingobernables fand ich richtig gut für diese Position auf der Card und Goto vs. Evil dürfte gut werden, da Evil sich weiterhin gut präsentiert. Roppongi Vice vs. Sydal & Ricochet kam mir leider vor wie jedes andere Match um diese Titel in letzter Zeit, ohne dass das Match natürlich schlecht war. Absolut ordentlich aber wirkt halt austauschbar, auch weil die Titel ziemlich wertlos sind. Ospreay legt ein saustarkes Debut hin und ich freue mich ihn wieder bei New Japan zu sehen. Never Openweight Tag Title Match fand ich echt unterhaltsam, auch aufgrund der Tatsache, dass die Bucks hier mal bei den Heawyweights mitspielen durften. Tenzen hatte wieder seine "Working Boots" an und zeigt ein nettes Match mit Shibata. Highlight war allerdings die Szene als Shibata Nagata stumpf wegtritt nach dem Match. Das Tag Team Title Match ist zwar nicht um Matchguide, braucht sich aber nicht verstecken vor den anderen Matches und für Tama Tonga hat es mich sehr gefreut. Der Main Event war einfach geil, ich habe michr riesig gefreut für Naito, obwohl ich leider gespoilert war. Sanada taucht aus dem Nichts auf und legt somit den Grundstein für Naitos verdienten Titelgewinn, starkes Match. |

Ishii & Goto vs. Evil & Bushi war in Ordnung (** 3/4). RPG Vice vs. Sydal & Ricochet war sehr gut (****). KUSHIDA vs. Ospreay war extrem gut und lieferte neben sehr gutem Storytelling sehr gute Technik und überragendes Highflying von Ospreay (**** 1/2). Das Never 6 Man TT Title Match beginnt mit einem ziemlich krassen Swanton Spot und so ging es auch weiter mit einigen netten Spots und einer packenden Schlussphase. Sehr gutes Match (**** 1/4). Shibata vs. Tenzan war sehr zäh und hatte nen dämlichen Matchaufbau (** 1/4). Das darauffolgende Tag Team Titel Match beginnt ähnlich zäh, was sich jedoch gegen Ende hin auflockert. Die Schlussphase war dann ganz nett, dennoch 5 Minuten zu lang (** 3/4). ME beginnt relativ zäh, es folgen einige Eingriffe, Schlussphase mit Sanada war dann gut. Dennoch für mich insgesamt enttäuschend (*** 1/4). Promo von Naito am Ende dann noch mal ganz nett. Insgesamt kommt NJPW Invasion Attack 2016 bei mir auf 7, 33 von 10 Punkten. Es gab einige gute Matches, eine Enttäuschung im ME und eine schwache Lower Card. |

Zwar extrem chaotisch, aber unterhaltsam. Shibata/Tenzan und G. B. H. /GoD waren solide. Main Event dann ein gutes Story-Match, dass die zweitbeste NJPW Show dieses Jahr nach WrestleKingdom gut abschließt. |

Besides of that, it was fucking awesome. Not only wrestling, but the booking was also outstanding. The way they set up many upcoming feuds, the way they built Naito as a legitimate main eventer and a draw, it was so impressive. After watching horrible Wrestlemania it was so refreshing to watch wrestling when everything makes sense. RPG Vice/Sydalochet was a **** match, Shibata/Tenzan was a *** 1/2 match, 6 man tag was like a DDT and PWG in one place, crazy match (*** 1/2). KUSHIDA/Ospreay was unbelievable (**** 3/4), and Okada/Naito was a **** 1/4 match, and a ***** segment. LOS INGOBERNABLES. |

Ricochet und Matt Sydal vs RPG Vice war das erwartet Spotreiche und spaßige Tag Team Match. (*** 3/4). Kushida vs Will Osprey war ein sehr sehr gutes Junior Match. Man hat hier wie bei Omega vs Tanahashi einen neuen Star geschaffen (natürlich nicht im ausmaß eines Omega). Ich hoffe einfach das Osprey noch öfters vor ort sein wird.... Auch wenn eine Amerikanische Liga wegen eines speziellen Turnieres locken wird... (**** 1/4) Tanahashi, Elgin und Tatsu vs Elite war ein sehr sehr spaßiges 6 Man Tag Matches. Genau dafür sollte der Titel eingesetzt werden. ( ****). Shibata vs Tenzan war das erwartete Match. Es gab wenig neues und beide spielten ihr Programm ab. 10 Minuten ging das Match was wirklich absolut Okay und erfrischend war. So haben sie nur 10 Minuten den Crap aus sich geschlagen. Auch wenn es wiedermal die unnötigen Headbuts gab.... (*** 1/2). Co Main Event Tag Title Match war dann wohl das schwächste Match der Main Card. Match ansich war warscheinlich garnicht so schlecht, aber die Crowd war null im Match. Sehr schade. (*** 1/4). Main Event war dann MOTN. Sehr gutes Match. Naito war der absolute Ober-Heel und wurde trotzdem sowas von abgefeiert. Die Crowd wollte einfach seinen Titelgewinn! Den gab es dann auch nach knapp 30 Minuten in einem sehr starken und Overbookten Match. Sanada ist jetzt bei den Ingobernables und es war einfach super. (**** 1/2). Insgesamt ein sehr gute Show. Natürlich nicht so gut wie WK 10, aber es kommt von allen bisherigen Shows am nächsten ran. |
