[9.0] "Awesome show with most matches being very good . Los Ingobernables have become super over although the big reveal of Sanada kind of fizzled as people where not sure who he was . Matches worth watching : CHAOS (Kazushi Sakuraba, Toru Yano & YOSHI-HASHI) vs. Jushin Thunder Liger, Satoshi Kojima & Yuji Nagata , CHAOS (Hirooki Goto & Tomohiro Ishii) vs. Los Ingobernables de Japon (BUSHI & EVIL) , KUSHIDA (c) vs. Will Ospreay , BULLET CLUB (Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (c) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Michael Elgin & Yoshitatsu , Katsuyori Shibata (c) vs. Hiroyoshi Tenzan , Great Bash Heel (Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma) (c) vs. Guerrillas Of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) , Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Tetsuya Naito and my top match was Matt Sydal & Ricochet (c) vs. Roppongi Vice (Beretta & Rocky Romero) ."

[9.0] "Great show! Jr. Tag Title match was really awesome with crazy action as you would expect (***3/4), Ospreay/KUSHIDA was absolutely great stuff with Ospreay's selling and KUSHIDA's arm work really coming to the forefront (****1/4) and of course the main event between Naito/Okada contained a huge moment for New Japan with the match having an atmosphere that told the viewer the result was really important (****)."

[9.0] "Really good show with good matches throughout. Any matches that weren't *** or higher for me ( the two opening matches) were less than 10 minutes so can't complain and were more just there to build up the crowd. Following the two opening matches Chaos vs Los Ingobernables de Japon ***1/4. Beretta & Rocky Romero vs. Matt Sydal & Ricochet ****. KUSHIDA vs. Will Ospreay was MOTN for me, great arm work ****1/2. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Michael Elgin & Yoshitatsu vs. Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson was ****. Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Katsuyori Shibata ***. Great Bash Heel vs Guerrillas Of Destiny was a fine match but a bit slow and basic and Tanga Loa looked quite weak in terms of ability in the ring ***. And an acceptably good main event to finish it off ****1/4. A good show, no 10/10 classics but consistent good wrestling ranging from good to very good with no bad or awful matches. Very good show."

[8.0] "A pretty good show overall. Fale & Takahashi vs. Robinson & Taguchi was an ok opener. *3. 4. Goto & Ishii vs. BUSHI & EVIL was alright, I thought it had a few nice manoeuvres. I don't religiously follow NJPW, but I found it weird that BUSHI & EVIL were getting cheered. **1/2. Sydal & Ricochet vs. Roppongi Vice was a very good tag team match. ***3/4. KUSHIDA vs Ospreay was a brilliant match and a great debut for Will Ospreay. ****1/4. the Elite vs Takahashi, Elgin & Yoshitatsu was a very entertaining match, which the crowd were very into. I also liked the Jeff Hardy like swanton off the tunnel in the crowd. ***3/4. Shibata vs Tenzan was good and had some nice strong style wrestling, but honestly wasn't as good i'd thought it would be. ***1/4. Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma vs. Guerrillas Of Destiny was alright. **1/2 Okada vs Naito was a fantastic match, but Ive honestly seen Okada have better matches, but I still thought the match was very good. ****."

[8.0] "A good show. This show goes a long way for NJPW in their attempt to come back after losing a number of major stars (Ibushi, Styles, Nakamura). There was some doubters that they couldn't pull it off but with the pushes of guys like Omega, Shibata and Naito they have come back nicely. New Japan is easily the best booked promotion in wrestling today."

[6.0] "This show was fun to watch, but I wouldn't say the whole card was great (or even half of it, to be honest). My personal match of the night was the main event which I had at **** 1/4 stars. Kushida vs Ospreay was my second favorite with the Never Trios Title match coming in at a close third. Only other match from this show that I would recommend was the Jr. Tag Title match. Everything else wasn't worth watching."

[10.0] "Excellent show, just slightly behind Wrestle Kingdom. There was nothing bad on the show, altough the Semi main event was kinda underwhelming. Besides of that, it was fucking awesome. Not only wrestling, but the booking was also outstanding. The way they set up many upcoming feuds, the way they built Naito as a legitimate main eventer and a draw, it was so impressive. After watching horrible Wrestlemania it was so refreshing to watch wrestling when everything makes sense. RPG Vice/Sydalochet was a **** match, Shibata/Tenzan was a *** 1/2 match, 6 man tag was like a DDT and PWG in one place, crazy match (*** 1/2). KUSHIDA/Ospreay was unbelievable (**** 3/4), and Okada/Naito was a **** 1/4 match, and a ***** segment. LOS INGOBERNABLES."

[7.0] "Nice NJPW show, but it wasn't THAT great. The Tag Team Titles between GBH and Guerrillas of Destiny was a very boring match. The Trios title match was a mess. However, the Junior Heavyweight and the Heavyweight title matches were awesome."

[9.0] "A fantastic show, this set up so much stuff for the coming months and literally featured 1 bad match. 1, Taguchi & Robinson vs. Fale & Takahashi *½ 2, Liger, Nagata & Kojima vs. Yano, Sakuraba & YOSHI-HASHI **½ 3, Goto & Ishii vs. EVIL & BUSHI ***½ 4, Ricochet & Matt Sydal vs. Romero and Barreta **** 5, KUSHIDA vs. Will Ospreay ****½ (MOTN) 6, NEVER Openweight Trios Title **** 7, Katsuyori Shibata vs. Hiroyoshi Tenzan ***½ 8, Makabe & Honma vs. Tama Tonga & Tanga Roa *** 9, IWGP Heavyweight Title Match: Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Tetsuya Naito ****½"
