[9.0] "The thing I love about pro wrestling is that it's about many things. People can say that Grado isn't the best in-ring worker, and yeah that's probably true. But pro wrestling is more than just in ring work, and everything else that is pro wrestling is what Grado is. I love Grado."

[7.0] "Listen. As a person, and someone who connects with the fans, this is a INSTANT 10. But sadly, I can't give him a 10 for his personality and his connection with the fans, we have to put wrestling into it. Now- onto why he gets a 7 from me- I have loved Grado since seeing him on IMPACT in 2015. I wish he had his peak during the same time as Joe Hendry, because who WOULDN'T want to sing Madonna in front of 60 thousand people? ! But being for real, I love Grado. Always have. But sadly I cannot give a 10 because in most matches, he's average. I can't judge him as much as most people do, because this man went from the bottom to the top in 4 years (I almost cried when Grado beat Mcintrye). That is how Grado connects with me. Even still in 2024, he still has a connection with the fans. He, Joe Hendry, and Jack Jester were my main people to get into wrestling (and I'm American). I believe that Grado is VERY difficult to rate like Beneyriey said. It's a mixed bag with his personality, connection with the fans, and his wrestling. Still a great guy who's over in his home country no matter what company. Hope to see him prosper where he belongs in ICW. 7/10- ***.5/*****."

[10.0] "This is definitely my personal opinion. I've always loved Grado since I first saw him in World Of Sport when they brought it back on ITV. I watched the documentary and enjoyed seeing the story of how he started in the wrestling world and his rise in ICW. On the topic of his ICW run, I loved watching him as the perpetual underdog and when he won the title from Galloway/McIntyre, I almost cried. His TNA run did leave a lot to be desired but I did enjoy his story with Joe Hendry. That's about all I can say about that run. Now he's returned to ICW and I'm looking forward to seeing how that turns out."

[6.0] "Grado knows what his job is and does it very well. He is not somebody I want to see on every show I watch but in small doses I find him entertaining and I am glad he seems to have done well for himself in terms of his television work he gets up in Scotland"

[6.0] "I find it difficult to rate Grado. On one hand he is an immensely talented performer who has a unique connection with the crowd. On the other he is a comedy wrestler who's adequate at best in the ring. It would be a stretch to give him a 10 rating - especially as those are usually reserved (obviously) for the likes of Flair, Steamboat, ect."

[10.0] "The rating for Grado here is so unfair to him. He's a comedy gimmick, he's over, and he loves wrestling. He is AMAZING on the microphone and an amazing performer. If you don't like Grado, that's just lying."

[1.0] "I guess you become a comedy wrestler for two reasons. Number One - you've got a sence of humour, good connection with a crowd and your stuff is funny for most people. Number Two - you are not athletic and skilled enough or basically this business is not for you, but you still want to do some stuff inside the ring. I think Grado picked the second option in his wrestling career. I've seen him many times in the past and every single time his comedy was not funny. In fact, he was always really annoying, but not like a heel - more like a goof. He kinda reminded me a much worse and much more awkward version of Santino Marella. Grado used to appear in TV every week, while there are many great wrestlers who are still in some low indie promotions, wasting their talents."

[6.0] "I'm not gonna be mega judgemental over Grado considering he's very much the definition of a local hero: insanely over in ICW initially as a big underdog, his VICE documentary appearance also helped in getting him exposed to a far wider audience. He's clearly committed to his craft and despite his comedy goof antics, can actually wrestle pretty decently when he's not being typecast as a bumbling idiot. His stint in TNA could only really be earmarked as a failure if only because his niche gimmick simply doesn't work outside of the UK, and even there it's got clear limits to how successful it can be. He's more of a promo guy and has decent charisma, even if it doesn't translate to the US or anywhere else. With him moving over to TV and movie roles in his native country, it's unknown if he'll still be wrestling in the future, but he's fairly young and has a lot of time to improve. He's definitely far from the ideal wrestler physically and he'll never be the kind of guy you see in the major promotions: his glass ceiling is very present and not at all well hidden. Decent talent and seems like a nice guy but definitely not anything above average."

[0.0] "This clown is a complete and utter embarrassment to the business of professional wrestling, and every time he comes anywhere close to a wrestling ring, much less steps foot inside of one, a small part of the business dies a long, slow and agonized death. The guy has his fans, but that doesn't mean he should be a wrestler or be part of the wrestling business. He shouldn't. He should be kept well away from it."

[3.0] "I am sure you're a nice guy Grado and while I am sure he won't lose any sleep over my rating of him as he is loved by thousands of fans all over the world I really don't understand the appeal. He just does nothing for me. I am not a massive lover of comedy wrestling in general but I do find Grado cringe worthy. Sorry sport."

[10.0] "Good Lord people are rough on one of the best comedic wrestlers of the modern era, Great Promo, Average Wrestler but he's pretty solid in the ring, he doesn't have to be an amazing technical wrestler, but we do need ridiculous fun characters, or else we'd just have emo guys talking about pain all the time. if ya don't sing along with "Like a Prayer", I don't know why you're even here."

[7.0] "ICW does him a lot more favors than being in IMPACT wrestling. Does well in getting over and staying over with a crowd. Does likable underdog better than goofy comedy act."

[2.0] "An overall trash wrestler. He can't wrestle, and his microphone skills are horrible. Plus he is always trying to imitate the late, great Dusty Rhodes, which is both aggravating and insulting to the memory of one of the true greats."

[7.0] "Grado is Average in the ring, In my view aside from ring work there are also many factors that make a wrestler good or bad and what make him good is his Character which he played perfectly, he was very over in UK and doing a good work in TNA in my opinion."

[7.0] "A much better wrestler than he shows in his comedy matches, he doesn't look bad at all on the ring when he sheds that skin. Of course, he is so over as a "funny man" that he seldom is asked to wrestle a straightforward match. Misused (at the moment) in TNA, he has proven especially in "his" ICW that he can even go hardcore - with the right opponent. Not a fine ring technician, that's clear, but not only a chubby comedian either. His immense charisma helped and helps him get "over" pretty much everywhere he goes."

[0.0] "He isnt good at the comedy wrestling that he tries to do and that is the main reason I am giving him a zero. Grado is not a good wrestler at all. His moves look weak and his gimmick in TNA sucks. His promos are horrible and sometimes I have no idea what he is saying. So overall he needs to just quit wrestling because he sucks 0/10."

[2.0] "I honestly don't know if there's a wrestler I dislike more than Grado. His accent, his facial expressions, and his in-ring skills (or, rather, lack there of) are all so terribly off-putting. I have no idea how he became a crowd favourite at some of the promotions he frequents, as I don't find anything about his character comedic or endearing. It's painful seeing him anywhere wrestling related."

[7.0] "Ah Grado, IT'S YERSEL! Gotta love Grado. One of my favorites at the moment. He is funny as hell and he proved me he can go inside the ring when he went against Drew Galloway for the ICW title."

[7.0] "didn't know much about Grado until i watched him in TNA. so i watched some of his matches in ICW, he isnt the most talented worker but he is the most charismatic worker. Grado gets bonus points for getting a crowd full of men to sing Madonna"

[9.0] "Grado is the ultimate underdog. He may not be the most talented in the ring, however he is one of the most charismatic superstars i've ever seen. Even though his ring work isn't all that great he still has the ability to get a crowd behind him just watch his title match against Drew Galloway. He can also be very funny and entertaining. He may not be world champion material in the big companies like TNA however he is great at his character and I think what we see now is only the beginning. I think he is going to achieve lot's and you never know he might one day shock the world and be champion in TNA or the WWE if he ever gets signed. Also like Enzo Amore I think his in-ring ability will get better and better as time goes on."

[9.0] "I have seen Grado wrestle numerous times even before he developed the Grado character, Grant Dunbar. His matches in ICW are top notch he shows that he is a solid enough as a worker. I think it is a case of Eugene in WWE, where the character become bigger than the wrestler and he is not needed to go out and have 5-star classics, he is out to get a reaction. His work in IMPACT WRESTLING is entertaining but often falls flat and it is a different character you see in ICW but the character is different in every promotion he works wish shows what a good worker he is, he is able to adapt to every scenario and promotion."

[5.0] "A dedicated comedy wrestler who has become a big name on the UK circuit and, more recently, with TNA here in the States. Grado is often compared to his sometimes-partner Colt Cabana, and while he may not have the top-notch technical skills that lay beneath Cabana's comedy stylings, he knows how to be entertaining and has a good deal of likability and charisma to make him a popular figure at home and something of a cult hit stateside."

[2.0] "He tries to be an UK version of Colt Cabana, but he is terrible In-Ring and I actually don't think he's funny at all. He is in a horrible shape, don't even look like a wrestler. The only 2 things satisfactory about him is his charisma and character, while the only thing actually really good about him is his entrance. The rest is just garbage..."

[7.0] "While he's not the most talented in-ring wrestler in UK, he certainly is one of the most entertaining and lovable character from Scotland. Often compared to Colt Cabana, he is a cult figure in his home country thanks to his thick lowlander accent and his colorful gimmick and promos."
