[1.0] "I guess you become a comedy wrestler for two reasons. Number One - you've got a sence of humour, good connection with a crowd and your stuff is funny for most people. Number Two - you are not athletic and skilled enough or basically this business is not for you, but you still want to do some stuff inside the ring. I think Grado picked the second option in his wrestling career. I've seen him many times in the past and every single time his comedy was not funny. In fact, he was always really annoying, but not like a heel - more like a goof. He kinda reminded me a much worse and much more awkward version of Santino Marella. Grado used to appear in TV every week, while there are many great wrestlers who are still in some low indie promotions, wasting their talents."
[6.0] "I'm not gonna be mega judgemental over Grado considering he's very much the definition of a local hero: insanely over in ICW initially as a big underdog, his VICE documentary appearance also helped in getting him exposed to a far wider audience. He's clearly committed to his craft and despite his comedy goof antics, can actually wrestle pretty decently when he's not being typecast as a bumbling idiot. His stint in TNA could only really be earmarked as a failure if only because his niche gimmick simply doesn't work outside of the UK, and even there it's got clear limits to how successful it can be. He's more of a promo guy and has decent charisma, even if it doesn't translate to the US or anywhere else. With him moving over to TV and movie roles in his native country, it's unknown if he'll still be wrestling in the future, but he's fairly young and has a lot of time to improve. He's definitely far from the ideal wrestler physically and he'll never be the kind of guy you see in the major promotions: his glass ceiling is very present and not at all well hidden. Decent talent and seems like a nice guy but definitely not anything above average."
[7.0] "Grado ist irgendwie der Colt Cabana von Scottland. Hätte ich nur seine TNA Zeit mit der Maske verfolgt hätte ich viel weniger Punkte gegeben. Er wurde bei TNA so falsch eingesetzt dabei kann er richtig wrestlen auch bluten. Ansonst ist er Over total auch hat er mit Like a Player von Arieand nicht von Madonna einfach ein Theme das Stimmung macht."

[5.0] "Warum Grado im Rating fast 4 Punkte besser ist als Dirty Dragan erschließt sich mir nicht. Ich würde sagen das sie als Comedy Worker auf einer Ebene sind. Im Ring kann ich Grado nicht mehr als 3 Punkte geben. Er beherrscht die Basics aber das war es dann auch. Nichts besonderes an seinen Moves oder seinen Matches. Charisma sehe ich bei ihm, aber nichts was mehr als 7 Punkte wert ist. Er unterhält die Leute und lässt sie während des Entrances aufspringen und keiner kann sagen, dass ihm Grado egal ist. Aber es geht nicht tiefer finde ich. Er ist lustig aber connected nicht wirklich oder wird mehrdimensional. Am Mic manchmal sehr albern oder schwer zu verstehen, manchmal allerdings auch witzig und spontan. Deshalb hier 5 Punkte. Insgesamt 5 Punkte. Hab den Hype um ihn nie verstanden, finde ihn aber auch nicht schlecht. Ist für mich halt ein Comedy Undercardact."
[6.0] "Ganz netter Comedy-Wrestler, der Obelix-like als Kind wohl in den Charisma-Eimer gefallen ist. Purer Durchschnitt im Ring und außerhalb seiner Comedy-Rolle nicht brauchbar, aber er hat darin glücklicherweise seine Passion gefunden."

[2.0] "An overall trash wrestler. He can't wrestle, and his microphone skills are horrible. Plus he is always trying to imitate the late, great Dusty Rhodes, which is both aggravating and insulting to the memory of one of the true greats."
[3.0] "Im Euro-Bereich kann mich ihm leben, da ich ihn da a) nicht regelmäßig zu Gesicht bekomme und er b) sein Madonna-Theme nutzen kann, was zugegebermaßen schon stimmig ist. Wrestlerisch ist er keine Offenbarung, seine Comedy ist mittelmäßig und er nimmt fähigeren Leuten den Spot weg. Da man ihn nun wegen Challenge nicht mehr braucht, hoffe ich, dass er mich bald nicht mehr in meiner vor sich hin vegetierenden Lieblingsliga belästigt."

Of course, he is so over as a "funny man" that he seldom is asked to wrestle a straightforward match. Misused (at the moment) in TNA, he has proven especially in "his" ICW that he can even go hardcore - with the right opponent. Not a fine ring technician, that's clear, but not only a chubby comedian either. His immense charisma helped and helps him get "over" pretty much everywhere he goes."

His moves look weak and his gimmick in TNA sucks. His promos are horrible and sometimes I have no idea what he is saying. So overall he needs to just quit wrestling because he sucks 0/10."

Even though his ring work isn't all that great he still has the ability to get a crowd behind him just watch his title match against Drew Galloway. He can also be very funny and entertaining. He may not be world champion material in the big companies like TNA however he is great at his character and I think what we see now is only the beginning. I think he is going to achieve lot's and you never know he might one day shock the world and be champion in TNA or the WWE if he ever gets signed. Also like Enzo Amore I think his in-ring ability will get better and better as time goes on."

[9.0] "I have seen Grado wrestle numerous times even before he developed the Grado character, Grant Dunbar. His matches in ICW are top notch he shows that he is a solid enough as a worker. I think it is a case of Eugene in WWE, where the character become bigger than the wrestler and he is not needed to go out and have 5-star classics, he is out to get a reaction. His work in IMPACT WRESTLING is entertaining but often falls flat and it is a different character you see in ICW but the character is different in every promotion he works wish shows what a good worker he is, he is able to adapt to every scenario and promotion."
[5.0] "A dedicated comedy wrestler who has become a big name on the UK circuit and, more recently, with TNA here in the States. Grado is often compared to his sometimes-partner Colt Cabana, and while he may not have the top-notch technical skills that lay beneath Cabana's comedy stylings, he knows how to be entertaining and has a good deal of likability and charisma to make him a popular figure at home and something of a cult hit stateside."
