I'm gonna introduce all of the contestants in the cruiserweight battle royal. Let's face it, one of these fine contestants will get a chance at the cruiserweight belt. They'll never win it, but tonight you're gonna see a great match from a great competitor. Let's get down to the list here...

- Next, from El Paso, Mexico, this guy used to be a great bartender, but it hasn't translated into his wrestling skills, he is the scourge of the illustrious Guerrero family, he is Chavo Guerrero Jr. maybe a two in ten chance of winning.
- Coming out next, from Mexico, this is a rags to riches story, from selling chimichangas on the streets to WCW is Ciclope!

[10.0] "As I've said in another review for a Chris Jericho promo, this version of Jericho is my favorite: The late 90's obnoxious heel you can't help but love to hate because of how good he was at absolutely CLOWNING on other wrestlers. Other than The Rock I can't think of another wrestler who was so good at talking shit and so funny while doing it. Usually I'm not a fan of someone burying an entire division in one promo but the fact that this led to the big Dean Malenko reveal (one of the biggest pops in WCW history, somehow) and Dean finally shutting Jericho up makes it work extremely well. Great stuff."

[10.0] "Normally I feel like cracking jokes about opponents or future contender's could be seen as "burying or belittling" but this was done expertly. So so hilarious and great work, leading to a ALL TIME pop with Ciclope being revealed as Dean Malenko. So so well done and such an amazing "match" that acted more like an angle to get to the incredible climax of the Jericho vs Malenko feud."
