[7.0] "I didn't really understand it. I started watching 2002 Smackdown- I know Ric Flair and Vince McMahon are feuding, but I'm not sure why he's caused Vince to have a two hour meltdown in front of a mirror on TV. Full credit to Vince for going all-in on the performance."

[3.0] "Cheesy, corny, and nonsensical. The nonsensical is what stands out the most. Vince just spent several months desperately trying to save his company from the nefarious "alliance". Even with the wrinkle of Ric Flair "owning" 50% it made no sense whatsoever to try to kill his creation. Now, it was the imminent arrival of the NWO was pretty exciting at the time because no one thought it was possible but it was also way too late. Worst of all is Vince's talking to himself and the terrible delivery of the letters nwo at the end that it gives me second hand embarrassment."

[9.0] "This is a brilliant promo that's built through the entire night, with Vince basically going through the stages of grief about his "creation" in the WWF. It keeps you guessing the whole time of what Vince is going to do next and it develops the character into a psychopathic streak that would define him in the early 2000's. No music, no stupid gimmicks, just Vince howling at a mirror at himself with tons of vigour. Yes, the nWo reveal at the end is drastically underwhelming considering what we know about how that run goes, but at the time it was crazy to have him and the group team up and is probably one of the most underrated surprises in wrestling. A classic, tense as anything."
