Promo

Promo Data
Jeff Hardy: "The last year of my life I've been forced to look inward, forced to come face to face with my soul and ask myself a question: 'Jeff...are you willing to change?' People have tried to change me my entire life. And when they fail, I still come across as a failure. But it's easy to write, it's easy to say 'Jeff's a screw up! He's just gonna make a mistake again!'

[Hardy atmet kurz durch.]

I think you're afraid. I think you're afraid to ask me why, because you might sense somthing human in me that'll just freak you out.

Everyone's tried to break me, but I've broke my own walls down, and tonight is a new chapter in the career of Jeff Hardy. Tonight you will see through the eyes of one imagination. And tonight i will answer ALL the questions...: 'Does Jeff Hardy have what it takes? Is Jeff Hardy willing to change?' I am who I am, Jeff Hardy, WWE Champion!"

[9.0] "Short, sweet, and grounded in Jeff's real life - this promo has everything I'd expect from him, and he delivers it well. I'd like a bit more aggression in Jeff's tone towards the end, which is why it's a 9 instead of a 10, but he says everything he needs to say as the oddball/underdog in the main event. It's only compounded by the fact that Jeff did the unthinkable and won the title later that night. Also, for what it's worth, the lighting of this promo is awesome and I can't get enough of it - reminds me of Jeff's original TNA run."

[6.0] "Well overall it's mostly gibberish and it feels like some scribbles from the emo kid's diary, but Hardy makes it kinda work. He was very over back then, so the crowd would have eaten up everything he said, plus he was really invested in this promo, so it elevated it a little bit."
