[10.0] "Unironically if you want to make an iconic promo, it has to hit certain qualities. A few I can name are: talking about how you're going to defeat and/or are better than your opponent. Making it entertaining and captivating. Doing everything totally in character. This promo does ALL this, and then more in the most Scott Steiner way possible, with the added bonus that all this was done off the dome! Promos like this prove that Scott found THE PERFECT JOB for him, and we love his crazy-ass for it. Mostly."
[8.0] "You know, I was a fan of Scott Steiner when they were The Steiners, the big-hearted beefy babyface protectors of all things good. I LOVED having them on the good side, it felt like having an advisor-type character in a movie, the guys you would trust with your life to have your back and support your mission. So I saw his evolution from that character to the Genetic Freak and all the promos that followed. As a pre-teen I hated his heel character and how his moveset changed and he started always using the Camel Clutch to gain heat, so I guess you could say the character was a success. Fast forward a decade and I'd missed this promo completely, and only saw it a couple years later from when it happened. I love this promo and laugh every single time I see it. It's not much and definitely not deep, but it's just so perfect, a lightning in a bottle moment. Still, as it is a comedic bit, I don't think you can ever consider it an epic. But for what it was, it is amazing."
[10.0] "The funniest promo in the history of wrestling and possible the funniest segment up their with the Woo off. you know how good this is when nearly every wrestling fan get say this off by heart when ever someone asks. The Numbers don't lie this promo is 10/10"
[5.0] "A meme with this rating is hilarious. I don't see this as so bad it's good. I see it as so bad it's entertaining. It's an unintentionally funny promo that has almost become myth at this point. I saw it live at the time on ppv and was really nonplussed by it. Leave it to Reddit to take a joke and run with it until the wheels fall off, tie a horse to drag the chassis, when the horse dies, beat it, then pull what's left manually with ropes. Now I can't really watch this anymore because frankly I don't have to. Some yokel somewhere is going to reference it. It's become the wrestling equivalent to someone at the grocery store who says "uH gUeSs iTz fReE tUhDaY" when something doesn't scan."
[9.0] "I assume I'm not alone when I say that I have seen this promo a lot & that it still mystifies me that something like this exists. Obviously it's not "great" in the same way that Punk's pipe bomb or Austin's 3:16 are. But it's great it a whole different way."
[10.0] "The number don't lie and they spell 10/10 promo, there's a 66 2/3 chance of it being my 2nd favourite promo of all time and a 33 1/3 chance of it being hilarious because after all those numbers adding up he still 141, 66% lost this match."
[10.0] "Two things I really appreciate about this promo, outside of the equations adding up, is that1) it can be enjoyed outside of its wrestling context and 2) it is an almost one of a kind promo, as hardly anyone can actually replicate it."
[10.0] "TNA's greatest promo ever. The only bad thing I can technically say is that Steiner got something wrong with his maths, because he wasn't able to win at Sacrifice. If you've already watched it, go watch it again. That's how legendary Steiner Maths is."
[10.0] "This promo is genius. It's iconic and often quoted but I truly believe Scott is a misunderstood genius. I see a lot of ironic "so bad it's good" 10 ratings. And it is. But what's often missed I feel is how it's purposefully crafted this way. Scott had a unique promo style that I always loved. The ramblings of a mad man Ultimate Warrior esq but grounded in realism. This is the perfect Steiner promo. Sells the match, puts over his unhinged more muscle than brain persona. All while Petey Williams does his best Scott Steiner flexes in the background. 5 stars."
[9.0] "I love this promo. It is insanely stupid, and I love it. The thing I love the most is how Steiner is able to do his promo without any failure, it flows so well. One of the funniest promo I have ever seen, and a promo definitely in the "Hall of Fame for promos", alongside Zandig's "JEEEEEEZUS" promo"
[6.0] "OK, I'm gonna be the spoilsport on this one with a joint low score. Yeah, it is funny, so bad it's good, but it is also ridiculous. Roid-rage on numbers. I hear a lot of people screaming out that his mathematics are sound. I'm afraid this is more meth than math. 6*"
[10.0] "There's tiers for promos that help distinguish them from what's good and what's not good. Of course there's your amazing, god tier promos, your Pipe Bomb's, your Austin 3:16's, your Cane Dewey's, etc. There's promos that are mid in all respects, but do what a promo is supposed to do competently enough to build the necessary hype around the match. And then there are promos that are so bad that you can't help but feel for the wrestler cutting it (Roman Reigns' Sufferin' Succotash promo for example). But there's a secret tier of promo that is sought after by people like me, a kind of promo that is so laughably awful, so cringe-inducingly shit that it circles around into legendary status. The so-bad-it's-incredible promo. Scott Steiner is the Leonardo da Vinci of this type of promo, and Steiner Math is his Mona Lisa. Just a one minute fuckfest of pure, unadulterated, roided-out Steiner madness that is infinitely quotable, infinitely meme-able and just oozing of infinite, gut-busting hilarity. And the best part? The math even adds up! It's insanely iconic and beautiful in it's own transcendent, timeless, unintentionally funny way."
[10.0] "Quite frankly, one of the best promos to ever hit wrestling. Pure, unadulterated Scott Steiner madness in the form of an unforgettable math lesson. A gut-bustingly hilarious romp through and through, with the shocked Lauren face after Scott insulted Joe being utterly priceless to boot."
[10.0] "If the Ucey promo is the funniest thing of this generation of wrestling, this is the funniest promo of all time. It's near impossible to reach such a monumental level of "so bad it's incredible", but here we are. Scott Steiner really decided to use his math degree to deliver one of the most hilarious pieces of comedy of all time. Immaculate"
[10.0] "Beautiful. A promo that is transcendent in nature and has changed the lives of so many wrestling fans. When Steiner displays his amazing maths skills, it is truly an inspiration to us all. They say that all promos are created equal, but you look at this promo and any other in wrestling history, you can see that statement is not true. Godspeed Scott, truly a hero of our times."
[10.0] "The single most quotable, meme-able promo of all time. Never gets old, never gets less hilarious. Steiner promos were just another animal altogether."
[10.0] "One of the funniest wrestling promo of all time. Unfortunately for Scott Steiner the 141 and 2/3 percent chance of winning didn't materialize at Sacrifice, maybe adding Kaz to the mix instead of Kurt Angle change the equation."
[10.0] "Eine sensationellen Promo! Mit dieser mathematischen Meisterleistung hat Scott Steiner eines geschafft: Big Poppa Pump wurde zu einer Internet-Meme-Legende"
[10.0] "The best part of this promo is the fact that the maths actually check out. I can't help but wonder if he calculated all this on the fly or if he sat down with a calculator and memorised the values beforehand."
[10.0] "This is still one of the best promos in human history. Scott Steiner beautifully explains his chances of winning in a logical mathematical way. Of course Kurt Angle isn? t taken into equation, because he knows he can? t beat me. He? s got a 141 and 2/3 chance of winning. If you haven? t watched this promo you haven? t felt perfect bliss, this is like ascending to heaven every time I watch it."
[10.0] "This is one of the best promos ever. It reads like lyrics from The Music Man or something. It's also very much in the tradition of Superstar Billy Graham's promos. I always imagine this delivered to Tony Schiavone in front of that star background that WCW had for its studio show in like 1986. Kind of a throwback style of promo, but its success shows how timeless it is. One thing people definitely want from a wrestling show is to have fun. That's what this promo is- fun."
[10.0] "YOU KNOW THEY SAY ALL PROMOS ARE CREATED EQUAL, BUT YOU LOOK AT THIS PROMO AND YOU LOOK AT ANY OTHER PROMO ON CAGEMATCH, AND YOU CAN SEE THAT STATEMENT IS NOT TRUE."
[10.0] "There isn't anything to say about this that hasn't already been said. One of the greatest monologues in television history, and it perfectly encapsulates the chaotic energy that Steiner brought wherever he went, for better or worse."
[10.0] "Do you know the fact that Scott Steiner has a PHD in applied math? Of course you do, he showed it in this masterpiece of a promo, one of the funniest ever."
[10.0] "One of the most entertaining segment I've ever seen. Idk if Steiner improvised it or if it was planed but anyways it made me laugh really hard."
[10.0] "Words can't adequately express the love I have for this promo. If there were more wrestlers cutting insane soliloquies like this on a weekly basis, I think the world would be a better place. TNA's very existence was validated when Big Poppa Pump dropped his math knowledge on us."
[10.0] "Easily my favorite promo of all time. I could go on for hours about how much I love this! I'm gonna give this a 10 because the numbers don't lie!"
[10.0] "Steiner is the best. I hope he's working us all, as that would be even better. I still watch this promo and it's possibly one of the most memorable of all time. Plus, he's done many promos like this! You can't forget 'I'm Hungry', or 'I'm gonna be the next heavyweight Championship' and the ever immortal 'He's Fat! '"
[10.0] "You know they say all cagematch ratings are created equal. But you look at this comment and you look at Samoa Joe and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another cagematch rating, you got a 50-50 chance of winning. But I'm a genetic freak and I'm not normal. So you got a 25 per cent - at best - to beat me. And then you add Kurt Angle to the mix, my chances of winning drastically go down. You see, the three way at Sacrifice you got a 33 and 1/3 chance of winning. But I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning cause Kurt Angle knows he can beat me and he's not even gonna try. So Samoa Joe, you take your 33 and 1/3 chance, minus my 25 per cent chance and you got an 8 and 1/3 chance of winning at Sacrifice. But then you take my 75 per cent chance of winning if it goes one on one and then add the 66 and 2/3 per cent chance, I got a 141 and 2/3 chance of winning at Sacrifice."
[10.0] "Wrestling is supposed to be entertaining, and this was probably the most entertaining promo I've ever seen. 141 2/3 > 8 1/3, that fatass Smoa Joe better look out at Sacrifice."
[10.0] "This promo is legendary, Scott Steiner as a statician is the most funny thing of all time. I don't know how it could be possible to do a promo like this. Amazing mic skills."
[10.0] "This promo is very funny. "Would you rather come home to me, a Genetic Freak, to be satisfied every night or go home to that fat ass Samoa Joe? " hahahaha"
