Joe Hendry: "Say his name and he appears; welcome to the historic, first ever Joe Hendry concert in WWE. Now my concerts are critically acclaimed all over the world, but tonight we brought it here to NXT, I can feel the buzz in the air and knew I needed to create something special because the world has said they believed in Joe Hendry! So we need a song that everyone is gonna love, well, almost everyone. Give me one little second here, there we go, beautiful.

Joe Hendry makes things better, but there's still so much to see, Joe Hendry makes things better, For everyone in NXT
There's a wrestler from Scotland, he's representing TNA, and the chefs been in the kitchen
[photo of Shawn Michaels in a chef uniform with Triple H from 2008 appears on the titantron] because he knows he has his fans, they're singing 'We believe', but the president of his fan club, is a man named Booker T [photo of Booker T in Scottish attire in the landscape of Hendry's entrance video appears on the Titantron]
Now let's talk about Joe Coffey, because there's a story I could tell, and he claims that he's from Scotland, but he's the son of Dutch Mantell [photo of Joe and Dutch side by side appear on the titantron]
If you hate Gallus, wave your hands in the air
They got deported, for having awful facial hair
If you hate Gallus, wave your hands in the air
They got deported, for having awful facial hair

Everyone! All together!
If you hate Gallus, wave your hands in the air
They got deported, for having awful facial hair
[crowd chants 'We believe']

I knew this was gonna be fun, but you are REALLY in a party tonight! So what about we have ourselves, a little encour [crowd cheers] and maybe we should sing a certain song with a spin around and you see a certain face [Joe points to himself and the crowd cheers in approval.] What do we think NXT Universe? [crowd cheers] Well, the people have spoken, so let's sing it together--" [Gallus interrupts Joe]

Joe Coffey: Enough! Enough! Mic check, 1-2. Goodbye NXT, there will be no more encore! You, you're a flash in the pan, you're a one hit wonder, you're an internet meme, you're a one trick pony! [The three step in the ring, surrounding Hendry] And if I hear that song one more time, someone's getting death. I feel as if, Joe, I've heard that song before, so if you want some, come get some. Go on then--" [Hendry punches Coffey but Mark and Wolfgang attack him and break his guitar over his back.]

[6.0] "Joe Hendry is always entertaining on the mic, even more so with a guitar. But this concert was pretty tame. Gallus being a boring act in NXT didn't help I guess."

[10.0] "I absolutely loved this segment - mostly because I am the biggest Joe Hendry mark and I popped at the fact that he used his original I C Double Me and You theme from way back in ICW. Of course, Gallus came out at the end to interrupt Hendry singing his theme - and they actually referenced the original lyrics (If you want some, come get some) before beating down Hendry. This also made me remember Hendry's prior relations with the Gallus Boys - with the Rollin' parody for Wolfgang, the Iron Man / Enrique Iglesias parody for Joe Coffey, as well as him being in The Prestige in WCPW. I don't recall if Hendry and Mark Coffey have interacted in any sort of memorable segment. Anyway, back to this segment. Joe Hendry made fun of Gallus and promoted himself in the normal way that he does, which is always good. I'm just glad Hendry got to do this on a significantly large stage and referenced his past in ICW."

[8.0] "Joe Hendry is on another level of popularity right now, the performance center crowd treated him like a true star and had the whole audience cheering and chanting for him. Gallus got massive heat for interrupting and attacking Hendry and the two Joes fighting next week should be alright."

[8.0] "One of the things I was concerned about was how Hendry's gimmick was going to translate to the much more sanitised world of WWE. After all, one of the things that got Hendry noticed all the way back in ICW was his musical chops, with some of his parodies now legendary (e.g. Teenage Dirtbag, Blue, Boom Boom Boom Boom), and I don't think that - even though he can legally do them - WWE would let him do them. That said, he can also do his own songs much like the famed Rock concerts of old. It's the sort of thing that'll elevate him from being a flash-in-the-pan in WWE and into a solid comedy act who can wrestle, even if his ceiling is still probably the midcard."
