We needed a contingency plan here at CHIKARA for the next time that a GEKIDO shows up, or a bunch of our roster members are hexed by the power of Nazmaldun, or the next time a Flood comes along to wash us all away, we needed a contingency plan, and, The Furies proved they were not that plan. And yes, I charged you with the idea of training people specifically to be that, and that's one thing. That's a point of business, but the business you've been running isn't clean business and you know it.

Because if it were, you wouldn't be doing it behind my back. You wouldn't have been sneaking around after hours forming your own weird, culty, fight club assigning yourself code names like "Borlung" and "Strixx." You don't think I know my mythology? Here you are assigning yourself these legendary properties, and the people underneath you, when they don't satisfy you, what do you do? You slap them across the face? You teach them how to fall on a cement floor? No human does that to another human!

So spare me your false contrition, Ophidian. Somewhere along the way, pal, you lost sight of the goal, and, I'm afraid, your ends do not justify your means."
