[Eddie Kingston is backstage. He starts by addressing the crew behind the camera]
Eddie Kingston: "What do you guys want me to say? Like, don't we have a thing on YouTube explaining it? Me and Claudio go back all the way to 2000 and what? 6? 7? When he first moved to this country? And we became friends? And we lived together? And then he started judging me? Knowing what I had to go through mentally and physically and emotionally every day? Yeah, you can say whatever you want but I'm still here standing tall.
But Claudio decided not to do business, not to respect me. And don't edit this out, you fucking idiots: He left potholes in that road that many of us had to clean up. That's why I don't like him, that's why I still hold the grudge.
Don't edit this out either: Renee [Young] told me to fix it, and it's driving me nuts because I've been trying to fix it. I thought at Wembley I could fix it. I thought a singles match with me and Claudio could fix it. I thought maybe me not answering Jon's calls could fix it.
But you know what, Claudio? This will fix it. This will be it. I don't care win or lose, this is it. And you're right, bro. You said one time to me 'You know, Eddie, you don't know how to have friends. You can't keep them.' You're right. 'Cause I push everyone away and then I blame them. That's the sickness in me. That's the curse I gotta live with. But you know what I do have? And I've always had? Home.
New York's always been with me. Whether it's the boroughs, whether it's Yonkers, whether it's Mount Vernon. Wherever I go in New York is mine. It's my home. And you think I'm gonna let you come to Arthur Ashe... and beat me? And end me, and end this, with MY shoulders down to the mat? You're out of your fucking mind.
All of New York has my back and I'll see you there. Try to beat me there. Try to beat me in New York. We're different there, brother. We're built different. We're built in the cold. We're built in the misery.
Can you deal with that? Can you be built on misery? Nah, you can't. I give you all the credit in the world: you're a great wrestler. You're amazing. You got the body, you got everything. But you ain't ready for the misery. You ain't ready for home.
I'm gonna fuck you up in New York, motherfucker. [Eddie walks out] There you go. Now tell them to bleep the [censored] out."
